Some jobs do not go smoothly. This was one of them. My overall review of Duval Fence is 4 stars because they stood by the job until it was right. Josh and Richard provided a gate that was adjusted to perfection. Would everyone have liked it to have gone smoother? Yes, but it just doesnt always work out that way.

If there is a No-Star rating, i would rate it as NO-STAR, but had to put 1-star to enable posting.Never ask Mr. Pete peters for an estimate of dog chain link enclosure. I had txt him, emailed him & even spoke to him personally on the phone. He confirmed having received the txt message, as well as my email to his business email address. Yet 17 days later, NO REPLY. Not even a courteous word to mention if the requested estimate can be done or not. This business must will only listen if your expected dollar estimate is 4- figures & above, but if the estimate is less than this, dont expect it. they wont even waste an ink nor a second to reply.

A very nice professional experience. Estimate interaction was helpful, Quote was competitive, scheduling painless. A good crew took out the old fence and installed new quickly, cleanly, and professionally. I would go to them preferentially for my next fence.

We needed work done to the entry and exit gates at our home. Pete and his daughter were excellent with providing the quote, explaining the work and getting it installed as promised. We will definitely use them again for our fence/gate needs.

These guys were great. I had a short fence section replaced and a couple of gates installed. They may have been good ole boys doing the installation, but they knew their stuff. They easily understood my needs and were careful to install the gates for minimum gaps so my dogs couldnt get out. They closed in an area to hide my garbage cans and asked about how the space was to be used to ensure the gate was installed for optimum ease of use. Overall, I was impressed at how they listened to what I needed and involved me to ensure I got it. When I replace my larger sections of fence in the future, Ill be sure to call Duval.

Colt came out to give a quote, looked everything over and said hed get back with us with the details the next day. Didnt hear from him so we followed up with him 3 days later and he said he would get the quote over to us that evening. Didnt hear back from him. Contacted again 3 days later only to be told he didnt want the job anymore and he tried to farm to other contractors and no one was interested. This would have been fine if he would have taken it upon himself to contact us and tell us verses leaving us in the lurch. Wasted time.

I love my new vinyl fence and the black aluminum fence along the back boundary to my woods enhances my view while keeping my little puppy securely in the back yard!

We had our original fence installed by Duval Fence years ago and were extremely pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship. So when we had hurricane damage and needed to replace it we called Duval again. They came and replaced our fence in a timely manner with the same quality and workmanship. Would recommend them to anyone.

It was a pleasure to work with Josh and the Duval Fence team to install a wood panel fence and aluminum gate at my house. They were prompt and came by the house multiple times before the install to verify the proper measurements and requirements.What I was originally quoted is what I paid, no hidden fees or addons to try and get additional money. I had a horrible experience and the end result was not getting a fence installed by Duval Fence. I called shortly after hurricane Matthew to get a new fence installed on a home I recently purchased. I called spoke with the woman at the front desk and she said she would pass my information off to the necessary individual. A week and a half passed and I never got a call, I understand their busy but come on! I called back, after explaining I never got a call she finally got me in touch with someone to come out and give a quote. A week later I get a call that they would be late which was fine and that they would email me a quote the next day. Four days passed and I never got the quote so I called, the same woman answered and said she wasnt sure what happened and that she would get it sent to me. Three more days have passed and no call or email. Im not sure how much harder I could have tried to give them my business but if I were you I wouldnt even call for an estimate as youll just waste your time. Horrible customer service and no communication. Good luck with this company because if their work is anything like getting a quote theyll never show up to install the fence.

I honestly dont know how this company is in business. I have called on 3 separate occasions to get a quote to have my fence replaced and have yet to receive one. I would suggest you look elsewhere to have any work done as these people dont have the time to call you back or follow up.

Duval Fence did a great job at Cork Industries Josh is great to work with. Fence looks great and work completed on time. I will use Duval Fence again and will recommend them.

Horrible customer service. Called on a Tuesday requesting an estimate and soonest available appointment was for Friday. Estimator told me he could send me an e-mail estimate as early as the following Tuesday. I had a couple of questions and never received a response either by e-mail or calling him directly. If you have Dave helping you, good luck.

We called to schedule an estimate to install a fence. He had to schedule a week out just to come out for 20 minutes for a quote. The day of, he called and said he couldnt make it because of his kids birthday party. The day of? Wouldnt you know about your own kids party weeks in advance? Um, no thanks. CANCEL. So unreliable.

Treats their employees bad. works them like dogs and doesnt care much about their own needs. they did decent work but I have trouble putting money in the pocket of employers like that.

They are not pros, they dont deliver what they promise. But the owner is very nice if that helps but the son treats you like an idiot. just be careful with them

Called for a quote on replacing a section of fence. I have a Spec Rail brand fence and wanted to match it up with the new section. I called Spec Rail first and they gave me the names of a couple of local companies that deal with their products. Duval Fence was one of them. A rep came out when I was not home. He said he didnt need me to be there to take a look at it. I then called him a few days later on a Friday because he never proactively got back with me and he then gave me a verbal quote and a timeframe of 4 weeks to get the section in to which I said Ok, lets go ahead and order it. He said he would get a proposal out to me on the following Monday. That would have been 8 days ago now and Ive never received anything via email from him and I discovered today that nothing has been ordered yet. I had a suspicion that this was the case so in the last week Ive had another of the recommended companies come out and bid on it so Id be ready to order elsewhere in case Duval hadnt already ordered it for me. I called Duval Fence today to find out about my order and the guy Id been working with was shocked I hadnt gotten the proposal but checked his outbox and confirmed that he never sent it and then said hed be sure to get it out right away. That was 5 hours ago and theyre now closed for the day so I dont think Im ever getting their proposal. Also, he was completely clueless that I said lets go ahead and get the ball rolling with this and get it ordered 2 weeks ago. Im throwing my business at you and you fumbled it badly. Anyway, the other company came in 15% cheaper as well so this worked out for the best for me aside from losing a couple of weeks to the incompentence of Duval Fence. If youre considering a new fencing project, shop around elsewhere. Complete lack of professionalism, lack of competence and lack of customer service from this company.

Called and got an appt for an estimate a week out. Hook off work and waited . A no show no call. Called back and left s messsge. No return call. Called back again, lady answered, apologized ssid yo send survey and would call back to set appt. No call back after a week. I text the lady that sent me their email address and still no response. Left another Messsge. Nothing. I’ve looked at their reviews on yelp and here and same complaints... you would think they would make some changes. I’m in a position that o could send a lot of business. No thanks . VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Wow finally a company with integrity! No wonder they are busy. It is like going to Mayberry.

I tried to get a quote from them for my company-- had someone come out for a walk-through, reached out multiple times to follow up, and never heard back from them. They obviously dont want the business.
