Dave and his course are awesome. So far I’ve only taken the concealed carry course and I felt really comfortable in asking questions and engaging in conversations despite not having any prior training. This is due to Dave’s relaxed, nonjudgmental teaching style and he adds some humor which makes it a cool for a 2.5 hour Saturday morning course (went by quick). Great insight, great price, highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back for future purchases.

We had a big class Saturday morning for CCL class and the instructor kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable in what he was showing. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested. Even with a class of 14 it took less than 3 hours. They also show you where and how to apply for the license with the state. Everyone was very helpful.

I attended Awesome Daves Concealed carry class today and i would highly recommend Daves class to anyone. Was affordable, educational, intertaining, no question went unanswered and the 3 hrs flew by. He shows he cares people understand the material instead of just take your money and there was no other fee except money for the course. Am a novice where it comes to firearms yet was made to be comfortable in his class.A+, 5 stars!Keep up great work!

I took my conceal and carry class on 8/22/2020. I was nervous and didnt know what to expect, but the professionalism and knowledge that David passed on to the class was amazing for someone like myself. I will be taking my 14 soon 15 year old to take the class. David and Sandy and there friendly pup made you feel right at home. I also went to the tax collectors office as suggested by David, and I will have my license in 2 weeks!!! And as a bonus I found out I could get my out of town registration switched to Florida. So I am very happy about that, I got there early in the morning and I was in and out. I highly recommend taking this class if you are not licensed.

Instructor David was very textbook informative, but added an exciting twist to the normal drag along lectures that most people would fall asleep to. He incorporated possible real life scenarios and involvement during the class. While also taking the time to make sure every student was knowledgeable on how to hold a firearm, safely use a firearm, the scenarios of when you should use a weapon, live fire training, the Florida laws and more.I will definitely be going back to this establishment with my significant other for the class, to purchase a firearm, and check out the amazing refinishing work because of their top of the line service and hospitality.

Extremely informative and educational. Added some humor occasionally into some of the dry material, but overall a phenomenal experience. Will be going back in the future. Please support our small local businesses, Dave is an excellent instructor.

I was sceptical at first. So many only 5 star reviews. Sounded kind of scammy. Its legit. Jeff was an awesome instructor and speaker. Made sure any questions were anwsered and understood. Went way beyond the minimum requirement. CCW was about 4 hours. Longer than expected, but with what you are getting I dont see how you could compress it shorter.

Such friendly and very social staff, including this adorable canine who loves to play tug of war!!! This great facility also provides other amazing services besides weapons customizations such as conceal and carry licensing classes. Definitely worth the money and well deserving of the rating!

I’ve been handling firearms for 40 years now but never took the concealed class. Dave was a great teacher and I learned many things I didn’t know about concealed carry. He was informative with good examples of real life scenarios, went over the laws very clearly so we all understood, and he was very patient with newbies, always stopping to take questions and making sure to answer them throughly. Even if you’ve never fired a gun, this class is a good place to start. You’ll walk out with a certificate and boosted confidence that you can protect yourself and your family.

Attended the concealed carry class recently and was very pleased. David had a slide show presentation and elaborated on each item, answering questions as they came up. I took the CCW course on 18 July 2020 and thought it was really well done. Dave provides real world scenarios that a person could encounter. Not only is he knowledgeable, he does not care about the time and will let the class run as long as it needs to so that peoples questions are answered. It never felt like you were just another student. I also like that he does not sugar coat things. He provides real world statistics regarding crime in the JAX area. Eye opening! I will be sure to use them as often as I can for transfers etc. Thank you, Dave and Sandy!

I took my concealed carry class here and it was a great experience. Its a small shop and the owners provided an in-depth and very personal experience. They also showed us some of the custom finishing they had done to a few guns and the work looked great. Excellent customer service, great class material and instruction, and my application to conceal carry was approved today with the certificate provided for taking this course. Dave also ensured me that if I ever had any questions about concealed carry matters in the future that I could call or email them and they would answer quickly. Great experience.

My wife and I attended the CCW class just last night, and very much enjoyed it. Even though I already had a fair bit of familiarity with guns, we both learned a lot! Dave was patient and friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The only suggestion I would make is to send the slideshow via email to those who attend the class, so we can review it at our leisure if we ever feel a need. Never hurts to refresh the ol memory!

Took course in sept 2019....Great class packed with good information along with a few not so bad dry jokes. Instructor David answered every question during and after the class. Decided to take concealed weapons course here because of price and I was able to register same day for a 3pm class. Arrived and was very impressed with the small class size. Instructor was very knowledgeable, personable and welcomed questions. The small class size allowed everyone the ability to openly discuss topics without feeling rushed. Price to purchase weapon is competitive and includes a discount if you complete the course. Highly recommend for both the class and purchasing all your needs.

Great place for a gun transfer. It was cheaper than everywhere else in the area ($25). My gun arrived there and I couldnt pick it up for more than a week due to my schedule. They didnt charge any extra for holding it that long like some places do. I was in and out in 15 minutes after going to pick up my gun. 10/10 will get more guns sent here. Thanks

This is a great place to do business with. I bought a couple gun parts and saved money. There prices are comparable to the lowest I could find on the internet. The bulk of the money saved is if I would would have paid the normal transfer fee from buying on the internet. The Staff is friendly and kind. They were very helpful and gave me ideas for tooling needed and how to videos for my build. I will be a returning customer.

I took the concealed weapons course with David and I have purchased multiple guns online that have been transferred using their FFL license. The CCW class was informative, efficient, and humorous thanks to David. He gives a wonderful explanation of why you would want a CCW permit, firearm safety, and CCW laws. They have the best rates in town that I could find, and the course includes weapons handling (you fire six rounds from a .22 revolver into a bullet trap). I took my certificate of completion to the Florida Department of Agriculture office off Baymeadows Way and received my CCW Permit in about a week.
