Behrens Audio has installed and maintained the equipment in our home for nearly 20 years. The employees in the office and on calls are amazing! Service is worthy of five stars because the employees are dedicated to your satisfaction, do their job in a timely manner and are extremely knowledgeable. I would not use another A/V company.

Their decades of experience and ability to source and procure the perfect match in AV components has resulted in a product which works just as well as it looks.More importantly, when (on very rare occasions) a component or installation turned out to be not perfectly suited to my peculiar needs, they worked tirelessly to fix it or replace it altogether.Best of all, four years later I am still enjoying that same top-notch service in follow-up discussions and product updates/ warranty items. From the very start of getting my home theater designed, built and enjoying the experience of hearing and watching my home theater in action. I cant be more please with the professional salesmanship in listening to what I want and not what they want. The sales professional at Behrens asked me a lot of questions and took notes on everything we talked about. Based on my answers a design was presented during our appointment and it included everything I wanted and explained in detail the entire solution. Next came installation and the lead installer always kept me in the updates to match my busy schedule. Once the installation was complete, I was professionally trained on how to use the equipment and receive the experience I was hoping for. We returned to our beachfront condo after months away and discovered that the 65 TV installed by Behrens had stopped working. I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness with which Behrens honored our extended warranty, identified and fixed our problem and even provided a loaner TV for us while our TV was out of commission. I highly recommend them for home media installations.

I have worked with Behrens Audio Video since I bought my very first stereo for my apartment in the early 80s. After that I used them to complete a media room at my first house and then later a full HD theater at my current home (pics attached). I even brought them all the way down from Jacksonville when I was setting up a condo in Ft Lauderdale to handle my TV / stereo set up there. They are just that good. Whether you just want to upgrade to a 4K television or if you want a complete, custom home entertainment system they are THE BEST. All of the employees and techs are just outstanding. I wouldnt even consider using anyone else.

They offer in-home consultations and showroom appointments on their website. I contacted them through their website form and waited for 2 days. Nobody contacted my back. So I called them. They never received the inquiry, a receptionist tells me. Ok. I state specifically what I already have and what I would buy from them and asked for an in-home consultation in the Riverside neighborhood. She told me a sales person will contact me. To make sure they have all the info they need I also emailed them again my equipment list and what Id buy from them.Some time later the owner himself called me and I tell him the same. We make an appointment and I add that I have to check with my architect who wants to be there as well. After a call with my architect the owner calls me again and tells me surprised: You already have most of the equipment you need? We cant come out for such small stuff. WTH? I sent a form and emailed them exactly what I would buy from them and told him and the receptionist before on the phone the same! As for the small stuff: a nice motorized screen and a projector lift and other small stuff is certainly north of $10k.But whatever, I still want to have the showroom appointment and I set a date with the owner. 3 days later I notice I have to reschedule and call the store. Guess what? There is no date scheduled for me! WTH?It seems they do their best to avoid new customers. I take my business elsewhere.
