Today I drove 40 minutes one way to Florida Backyard. I went there because I was looking for higher end patio furniture. Unfortunately, the sales team couldnt make the time of day for me. I asked several times for her to give me quote for the furniture and the woman simply told me to take a snapshot of the price lists, gave me a book and told me I can call her back if I see anything I like. My assumption is she looked at how my wife and I were dressed (I was in gym shorts and a tshit) and assumed I couldnt afford to shop there. I did however get 3 other quotes tonight. They were between 13k and 17k. All of them were under my budget.. So moral of the story here is never judge a book by its cover. Too bad, I really liked their furniture.

Yes yes yes! We looked for a quality patio set for over a year and finally found Florida Backyard. The quality is tops, same types of sets as Ace Turner at the beach, but the prices and customer service are SO So much better! We worked with Taylor in the showroom.We ended up getting a half moon couch with reticulated foam cushions that let the water drain right through. Im so glad we did this cushion upgrade because we dont have a covered porch and we dont always bring the cushions inside.We also got a fire pit/table that we LOVEIf youre looking for patio furniture you should absolutely do your due diligence and check out Florida Backyard!

We received exceptional customer service this afternoon at Florida Backyard. We initially walked into the showroom and felt a little overwhelmed with all the choices, but with Taylor’s friendly attitude and extensive knowledge, we narrowed down our selection and left extremely happy with our new patio furniture. You can definitely tell Taylor loves what she does. We would definitely recommend Florida Backyard to all our family and friends!

Our homeowners association had shopped extensively to purchase a quality bench to thank the Board of Directors. We were very pleased with the customer service provided by Taylor as she was professional, polite and pleasant. We came from a distance to purchase the bench and she offered to have it put together for us before arrival for our inspection. The wood is gorgeous and the style just perfect for our needs. We are very thankful to have found Florida Backyard through google searches. We had been down the path of finding perfect outdoor furniture from large, national chains that were once more boutique but have frankly outgrown their commitments to quality. You know the ones. I was impressed when my first late night inquiry was answered late on a weekend night. I was impressed with the thorough and thoughtful nature with which questions were answered. I was impressed when I received a detailed video walkthrough of the products and colors we were considering; living states away, we were buying sight unseen. I was impressed with the thorough follow up. I was impressed with the shipping company as well, even when there was minor damage, it was immediately and professionally addressed... these things happen. Now, as to the furniture...WOW. Could not be happier. So well made. So rain capable, we have used it a few short hours after rain. This is why you buy outdoor furniture from Florida!!! They know rain. This product is on an ever shortening list of “worth it.” When a premium price comes with premium quality and support, it all ends up worth it. We will be enjoying this investment for years to come!!!!

Fantastic service, the manager took the time to explain the product and answered all our questions. Only small hick up with not getting the right bags of glass for our fire table but they said stop in anytime and they would get the two bags of glass that were short on our order. And it looks great!

Insanely expensive.

So I ordered my furniture in Feb/March 2021. I paid a good deal of money and was told it might take until July (latest) because of cushions. July came and went no communication. I finally called them in Aug/Sept to cancel my order and get the same product elsewhere. The manager told me it was on a boat stuck, but it should be here mid October. He told me he would take money off the purchase price and have the lady who sold it to me refund the money back onto my card on file. That never happened. Finally October 28th/29th the sales lady finally called to say my furniture would be delivered the next week in November (so not mid October). I asked her why she never put my discount back onto my card and she said she would tell the manager to do it. Monday the manager called to confirm my delivery the next day. I asked him why I still had not received my discount and he said you havent? He looked back and said oh I will have her do it immediately. That was November 3rd. My furniture was delivered November 4th. It is now November 10th and no refund has been issued. While I know times are hard and you cannot avoid shipping debacles, my furniture was delivered 8 months later and 4 months after the supposed latest date of July. I think what angers me the most is the lie that the manager and his sales employee have engaged in by not refunding me money they said would be given back in Aug/Sept. My whole family said to call back and cancel when the money was not refunded when he initially said. I said I would give them time that when they delivered it I would mention it. So on 3 separate occasions the staff has lied to me. So buyer beware if they try to lure you with the whole I will give you a percentage off line of horse manure then you need to cancel your order and go elsewhere. I could have ordered this somewhere else from a company who had it in stock in August, but didnt want to leave company with custom ordered cushions and furniture they had ordered. Unlike them I was raised to not lie, lead people on, or go back on my word. So while the furniture is nice, it can be purchased elsewhere and with better customer service results.
