They are the best Volkswagen dealership from sales to service! Our sales rep Jackson stays in friendly contact. And the service dept went above & beyond to work us in the same day when my brakes went out unexpectedly.

I got a 30k inspection and oil change done here on my 21 Jetta. About 2500 miles later, as I’m driving at night in Florida, the car tells me to check my oil level. I pulled over on a busy interstate asap and check the level just to find out that the oil level is just barely touching the very bottom of the dipstick. Thankfully there was a Walmart nearby where I could purchase a quart of oil to fill it back up. I’ve been to 2 other VW dealers in other states and they have always done an amazing job, until I got to this one. I do not recommended this dealership at all and I wouldn’t trust them working on anyone else’s vehicles.

I go in with a trade that has negative equity. I tell them im trying to bury it in a lease, and the payments I want. The manager says he can hit my numbers, and I go on a supervised test drive. When I come back, they present me with a option thats $150 over what I want to pay a month, while offering me 1.5k less of a trade in then honda. Needless to say, I went with Honda because they gave me the best trade. They didnt disregard my financial boundaries. They honored my request and needs. All VW did was try to push me into something I couldnt afford. And on top of that, they tried saying Honda was lying about what they can do for me. I now drive a new CRV and couldnt be happier.

Great once somebody waited on me. Five employees and one customer(me). Waited 8 minutes after they told me to ring a bell on the parts desk. Sorry for the wait and took care of me nicely from there.

The work that they did on my car was fine.Their Covid precautions are a joke, however. The two women in the service bay were unmasked when I drove in and I should have known that would be representative of how the rest of the stay would go. About 50% of the employees were not wearing mask or were wearing masks incorrectly. They were encouraging customers to get coffee and snacks, which meant that many of the customers were taking their masks on and off. After about five minutes of this, I ended up waiting outside in ten degree weather. I will not be returning.

While I am happy that I will finally be getting the Jetta of my choice and not what happens to be in the lot at the time for the money I have to spend, I was initially highly disappointed in the sales experience I had while purchasing this vehicle.While the salesman, Cameron, was pleasant and helpful enough in all stages of the sale, he wasnt aware of the Boucher chains policies regarding customers bringing in their own financing (Ill cover that in a moment), and so didnt pass that information on to us when we called.We came up to the Janesville location to test drive the car (a formality, really, as I was pretty certain I would be purchasing it regardless), a 30 minute drive from where we live. Unfortunately, at no time during the initial phone conversation were we told bringing a loan check from our bank to cover the purchase might pose a problem or cause a delay in delivery.The test drive went fine, and I was happy with the car in all respects, so we sat down to start the purchase. As I said, Cameron was very helpful at every step of the process, even going so far as to see if they offered an active duty military/veteran/retiree discount (they did) and helped us in producing the documentation we needed to prove we qualified for it. Then we presented the check. Cameron takes it and, obviously not quite knowing how to deal with it, says he needs to talk to the finance department and hell be right back.The problem was this: The Frank Boucher group has a policy regarding bank drafts that prevents them from releasing the vehicle until the funds clear their bank, and that the process could take up to 7-10 business days.The finance department rep came over, and informs us of the policy and during the conversation did ask if it is possible to convert the loan to a wire transfer (short answer: no, it wasnt). So, while disappointed with the news that it would take up to two weeks to receive the vehicle while waiting for the funds to clear their bank, we proceeded with the purchase.Edit:I spent the next week keeping tabs on the funds on our side of the transaction, and was ultimately able to provide them with proof that the check had posted on our side, giving them a way to work some wiggle room out of the normally inflexible policy, allowing them to deliver the vehicle a few days earlier than anticipated.This restored our faith in the dealership we had grown to respect over the past few years, and we will be buying our next vehicle from them.

I called asking for assistance with a Crossover suv I saw online. I was directed to a sales person. I visited for almost three days because of the holiday. I had trouble with having access to my deposit. It was exceptional service provided from all staff. It’s difficult to find a place where to find good service as here. I have to admit I would not like their job. Too many numbers and calls. Yes I would buy from them again. Next time for sure will have my money down on hand.

I absolutely hate dealing with dealerships. The only two Ive ever had a good experience with was Schoepps Northeast and Bergstrom Chevy in Appleton, neither of them had what I was looking for and I didnt expect to get a new car.Until I ended up at this VW out of curiosity.I had a HORRIBLE experience with Zimbrick and their sleezy swindling sales manager who was incompetent as could be. Offered my 5200 for my Escape, tried financing me through some janky online bank called Allied for 13% interest when I have an almost 700 credit score and was paying 5% on it.These guys came back with 7K I asked for, they didnt even blink an eye about it. Financed me through Volkswagen Credit for 8% and in all of that, managed to work in the extended warranty I wanted as well as a paint coating that sounded great for what it offered.My sales guy? Troy. Troy is absolutely AWESOME. One of the friendliest funnest people Ive ever hung out with, especially at a dealership. Never pushy, never trying to convince you of something stupid. The entire time was what is it YOURE looking for. How is it I can help YOU. He was ONLY interested in making something work on MY terms and what I wanted. Entire experience made me feel like I was family or like I had bought 20 cars from them previously. Never once did they try selling me on something I didnt want.Everyone introduced themselves to me after I bought the car, welcomed me to the family. I couldnt believe this was a dealership at all. It made buying a car actually FUN and not stressful.My only mark against them is they arent in Madison haha.This is truly a fantastic place and if youre interested in getting a Volkswagen, theyve got the best warranty you can get on a car right now and Im glad I told Zimbrick no.To Troy and the rest of the staff I worked with, you guys are incredible and I thank you for getting me into my new car and making the entire process painless and easy as can be.Ive got a line of co-workers and friends looking at getting a new car, guess where Im going to point them to.

Frustrating dealership. They do not list their used car prices online making it difficult to comparison shop. The estimated financing info they presented to me when I found a car I wanted was sketchy. I did the math at home and with the low interest rate I qualify for their numbers were way off. I showed this information to my bank and they were dumbfounded. Jeremy and who I assume was his sales manager kept wandering off to have private conversations in the middle of negotiating. It made for a very uncomfortable talk. Even worse it was a hot day when I visited so I was wearing shorts and a tank top. Jeremy was giving me creepy looks for the duration of my stay. I would definitely not go on a test drive with him again.

Worked with Cameron on buying a Jetta. Really friendly and professional guy. They are reasonable when negotiating a fair price. Most of the sales staff seemed high caliber. Like any dealership they want to sell all the protectants and warranties but were not pushy at all.

Very disappointed in their policies during the current crisis we are in. While friendly, they required a salesperson to be in the vehicle during a test drive, which goes against all suggestions for social distancing. They did offer to ride in the back with windows down; however, it is a little hard to understand road noise with that situation. I only wanted to take the car for a short 10 min ride to understand merging capabilities and highway noise.They were willing to bring the car to my house, which was nice. Troy was going to wipe it down and drive it over with a steering wheel cover and seat cover to help keep it sanitary as possible which was also nice. Troy was fairly responsive; however, once I mentioned that the test drive was a deal breaker he stopped responding to any questions. Sad that I will drive to Madison to buy my Tiguan once Zimbrick reopens.I understand policies and they must do what the bosses say; however, I feel this behavior is socially irresponsible during these times. If you dont allow social distancing, than dont open the dealership.

Their cars are pretty nice, VERY expensive though. I found just as good of a car elsewhere for half the price. I recommend looking for a car literally anywhere else. If you do go to Frank Boucher though, make sure you DO NOT work with the salesman Steven Hill. We had an appointment set up with him to have him show us some cars, and halfway through he completely ditched us without a word to work with another family that had just arrived. So incredibly rude. I will never be returning to this dealership if thats how their other salesmen behave as well.

They can give you some great deals when they want to. They really low ball you on trade ins. Last time I went there I ended up being stuck there for like 5 hours just to not settle on a price and walk away.

This dealer unlike the VW locations around Madison and Milwaukee still uses high pressure sales techniques. I understand it is a smaller market and they move far less inventory but you would expect them to evolve in todays marketplace. Also their certified preowned vehicles are often very overpriced. In several cases I found virtually identical cars for 2-3K less within an hours driving distance. I will say the service department is good. I know quite a bit about VWs and their recommendations have always been honest.

I cant say enough good things about this Dealership. It started from the very second I made the call! I called to check inventory on a specific Vehicle with VERY specific features. (VW ATLAS) They did not have that specific package in stock but right away they dove into finding me the car and said they would call me back within a couple hours. This made an impact on me because another dealership had previously said I needed to come there to get that type of process started. (over a 3 hour drive there and back). They called me back within the hour, sent me pictures, and had the car being transferred same day!! I was so impressed. No money down for a deposit or anything. I drove in the next day and was greeted by Jeremy Weathers! Is it corny to say I instantly felt like family? I think that feeling stemmed from the genuine way he cared. Such knowledge and care was put into the whole process that it didnt feel like a sale which is so important. He really took the time to explain things to me based on my individual needs . We spent a lot of time inside and outside of the car going over every detail and he customized each feature to how I would use it in my day to day. I always felt like he was one step ahead of me. Anytime we got to the next step in the sale, he was already on it or it was already being taken care of!! The whole experience was so great! The entire team was incredible!
