Huge thank you to Crystal at EyeMart Express in Janesville, Pinetree Plaza. My big dog knocked me down in the driveway and broke my glasses, with the medal clasp from my glasses embedded in my forehead. I called EyeMart Express and asked if my friend could come in with my glasses to possibly fix them while I was at the emergency room getting stitches. Well Crystal not only fixed them she also sent home a glasses chain all at no charge! Crystal I can’t thank you enough.I’ve been going to your store for years and will continue to do so!

I called as soon as they opened today was able to get an eye exam which was badly needed. I got regular glasses which will take maybe 2 weeks to come in (not bad for such a strong prescription) but I did get safety glasses the same day. The staff was amazing and the doctor nailed the prescription. Super pleased with the service

This place was amazing!!! I had an emergency where I needed glasses, and I needed them now. I got there at four pm, and they closed at five. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They immediately helped me find two pairs of glasses, that looked and felt great. By 4:50 I walked out with two great pairs of glasses! Thank you for your amazing service. Keep up the great work!

Everyone was so kind and patient. I had problems learning how to put in contact lenses, 3 people, including the doctor, checked in on me while I was struggling. Each with their own ideas, taking a moment to watch me, letting me know what I was doing wrong. Even telling me, if I was frustrated, I could come back another day. I called eyemart and they told me they where open until 7PM. We got there around 6pm. Picked out new frames and by 7pm I had new glasses. The ladies working tonight were amazing and very helpful. Went to make an appointment and tge receptionist stated the cost of just the eye exam is $95.00 !!!! Not sure what you get for $ 95.00 but that is way to pricy and ridiculous!! Needless to say will never go there again!!

I thought the doctor who did my eye exam was very kind and I was very pleased to have a real person not someone on a tv screen . He told me right then about changes he noticed in my eyes and why he was going to do such and such with my prescription 🙂. The girls out front were very friendly also and when I picked up my glasses they made sure they fit snug and straight.

Positively the nicest, the most patient staff my family has experienced ever. up to 30 years experience in 1 staff member alone! While other team members have Many Years under their belt. The newest staff are very excited to be learning the ropes, and very ambitious to help all their team members. These people seem like one big team. The associate was very helpful when assisting me to find a pair of glasses that fit me well. She remained professional when I didn’t prefer what she picked out. I am hard to shop for cause my face is so narrow. I typically one type of frame that I can wear on my face and she continued to assist me until I found it. However, my one dislike was that she insisted on adjusting the arms when my glasses came in. She adjusted the arms wrong and I had pain behind my ears. I used to work at a eyeglass retailer so I adjusted them back myself.

Was helped by Jill and her staff and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had buying glasses. Highly recommend large selection, good prices, and very helpful staff. Miles better than Lensecrafters in Janesville for sure.

Wonderful service. Stopped in to see if they excepted my insurance, and was able to schedule an appointment for the same afternoon. Everyone was super friendly and personable. This place is great! Visited this place on a Saturday(which was super booked..) but the front clerk helped schedule me an appointment for the following Monday (today)... and worked around my work schedule! I went in filled out paperwork for 2 minutes& got seen right away... then after my exam I looked around (great selection) prices ranges from 19$+ & they had a special as well 2 pairs for the price of one. Which is fantastic!My overall visit time was :1hr (exam&2pairs of glasses) under 80$$ & I have no insurance so imagine if I did! But friendly staff! Tammy was amazing& helpful! & the lady tech Got my glasses ready in less than 30 minutes & thats two pairs!!!! I have seen the light! As soon as I walked through the gates of Eyemart Express, I knew I made it to a good place! I was greeted by what I can only describe as an angel and was immediately taken under her wing. Once I gave her my information, she knew exactly what I needed and helped me choose two new looks. The lab folks made my personalized hardware and completed them in under an hour! I was flying back home in no time! I used to live in a murky haze but after my visit, I feel as though a heavy fog has been lifted, and my vision has been fully restored. Miraculous! All of the employees here deserve a great deal of praise. My experience was heavenly!

The service was fast. The sales rep was knowledgeable. My glasses were done in 22 minutes and they were progressive lenses. I paid a nice price for my Gucci glasses and they are better than my old high priced eyeglasses. I am very pleased and recommend this place highly:)

I recently bought two pair of glasses at the Janesville, WI Eyemart Express store and I could not be happier with my experience or their products. I made several visits to the store before making the purchase and each time the staff was very helpful, friendly and patient. They showed concern for me while they helped me through the process and finally in the fitting. They made sure I had the best lens and frames for my RX, along with choosing frames that fit my personal face shape and hair color. Prices were better than other places I checked and there are many discounts available online making costs even better. I found the quality to be good and I highly recommend their high definition digital lenses. It was a huge improvement over any previous lens Ive ever used. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend Eymart Express!

Jill did an amazing job with helping me find the right glasses! Very cheap option. I have 2 pair of glasses and one of them has blue blocker, digital lenses, and transition for half of what it cost at other stores.

So I found three amazing pairs of glasses frames which Im in love with, very stunning pairs indeed for an amazing offer of two glasses with 50% discount on my second pair. One even from the mens section too. But the lens power they prescribed was overshot and too high for my eyes. In one year, how can my power change by a whole point or two? I could see. But five minutes after I left the shop and was wearing the frames I loved, I got eye irritation, strain and an aching pain behind my eye. It could even alter my lens prescription! I had to take it off. I would return to get new lens or my money back for the lens. But Im leaving the country for a trip abroad and I even specified this to the team working at Eyemart. Im just disappointed that the doctor miscalculated a huge change in my eye prescription. :( Will have to get my eye test and new lens done abroad now. (I know a good person who does that so Im not too worried) just sad I wasted my time and money on the incorrect lens and incorrect eye test due to which I cant wear my amazing frames sooner. :( Otherwise very happy and satisfied by the staff, the selection of glasses and the thinness of my glasses lens as well as quality and quickness of my service and appointment.

While I did have to wait a bit to be seen, once staff were able to help me they explained everything to me, and did an excellent job at helping me pick out frames, and personally pointed out various frames across different price points that fit the description of what I was looking for. About two years ago I got my first pair of glasses and sunglasses for eyemart. After a dozen more trips, I thought They got it right. Sadly I never use them because I saw better without them. Had my eyes Re-check this week, elsewhere. When they scanned both pair of glasses I bought from Eyemart they were two totally different prescriptions and the center points were up in the corner and down on the bottom. Contacted the manager explained the situation nothing they could do.

They were very helpful, quick service, and very sincere about helping me find the right pair. I had Alex as my representative, and they were on task, made sure everything was right, and actually made sure the glasses fit me before leaving the store. Overall, very happy about my experience and purchase.

I cannot believe I waited so long to go here! Superior style selection, price is way cheaper than Lenscrafters, and Dr. Webb is the best. And it takes Medicare! I finally found a permanent home for my eyes.

Their machine to make the lenses was actually broke, and wouldn’t be ready for a few days, so the gentleman took his day off and spent it at the Rockford store to complete everyone’s orders promptly. Had a very good expierence with this organization . Was glad I had the person who helped in the awful task of trying to pick frames, be the same one who fitted them. Her Name is Jill, ands was fun, and patient with my usual attempt at comedic craziness. Glasses fit well., prices very reaasonable, bought 3 pairs for price of one at another place I used to get my glasses. It took longer than I hoped, but good lenses take time. Thanks to all the folks there especially a big shout out to Jill.

I called five places for a same day appointment and the friendly voice at Eyemart Express was able to work in my daughter and myself that afternoon. After going through the automated eye response systems it was great to have a real Doctor follow up on the results. I even found out some things about my eyes that no other Optomitrist had mentioned before. I do not buy glasses often so I have no problem dropping $800.00 on a pair of bulletproof well fitting glasses. My daughter and I walked out with 3 pair of glasses and the best pair of safety glasses I ever owned for way less than I was prepared to spend. To top it off the person fitting the glasses knew his stuff and was super patient in figuring out the ifs ands and buts of the insurance policy legalese. The Eyemart Express in Janesville Wisconsin has another satisfied customer.

We took my 11 year old daughter for an eye exam because she failed a routine eye test at her primary doctors office. She was very nervous and scared but the doctor in that day was very patient and funny which helped relax her. He also answered all of our questions after we were given ger diagnoses. The staff was also very helpful in picking frames and getting everything done that we needed. We had both pairs of glasses in less than an hour! Highly reccomend Eyemart!

Ordered & of course paid for my glasses ... regular, wear all the time, plus sunglasses onMarch 7, 2019. Not an inexpensive purchase!Both pair have required pretty much weekly adjustments /fixes & each person pleasantly says “Well that should fix it now” with a smile.This past week was a bonus week ... unfortunately NOT a good one. ☹️On Monday morning a popping noise came up = The band around the right lens just popped off on the lens as I was reading. Nothing strenuous taking place ... drinking coffee reading mail. Take them in & ok band replaced. “That should do it, all fixed!”Six days later I pick up my glasses this morning & the right temple arm fall off! REALLY????!!!! Of course it’s Sunday so back to Janesville Eyemart Express tomorrow!!EACH of these trips takes an hour travel time to/from plus time in-store for adjustments & repairs. Currently I am an extremely DISSATISFIED Customer & feeling like I should have gone elsewhere for my Rx eye glasses!Will see what happens tomorrow. What is the quality of materials & craftsmanship when these are constructed? With all the trips back & forth, I’m well over $1k cost. Disappointed to say the least!!

Machine was down, had to come back next day. Customer service was fair, technician did a poor job fitting the glasses. Nose pads were not aligned equally, she said we dont feel that is important but I did.Will use a different store for fitting.

Honestly, after buying glasses from Eyemart Express for the past two years, I wouldnt even consider shopping elsewhere for glasses. The first time I had visited their storefront, I did so on a whim—because I broke my previous pair of glasses and didnt have a back-up, making their one-hour service extremely tempting. Once in there, its a relatively small store, so they dont have an over-abundance of frame options; but thats not to say theyre lacking either, as most major brands, styles, and colors are represented. Same goes for their options in terms of lenses, types of glasses, and features. They provide excellent, personalized service from very personable and knowledgeable technicians. They are also very welcoming and graceful about any subsequent trips into the store to adjust your frames. Finally, the hallmark of Eyemart Expess is their prices, which to my knowledge, cant be beat. With a coupon (one they offer pretty frequently) I received two (plastic) frames with (plastic) lenses for a total of $29, saving over $130 in the process. This is a phenomenally run business who truly puts the customer first.

I would happily rate higher, however I have had to reschedule twice with no luck, due to the doctor leaving both times. Now would be my 3rd time rescheduling and I am not certain I will, due to the poor service I have received the 1st and 2nd time rescheduling. Do not take my rating as a serious rating, due to the fact that I have not actually had an opportunity to receive any real service here. I will be looking to take my business elsewhere.

Only issue was out of my 3 glasses purchased, 2 were incorrect. They took them and fixed the lenses in them and I am very happy!! Even with the mishap, I’ll definitely go back.

Very disappointed in the service and quality. I had an eye exam there and while the Doctor seemed competent the lenses in the machine where smudged and needed to be cleaned. Ordered my glasses and latter that day went to pick them up. I did not even make it out to my car. There were deep circular scratches in the left lens. They agreed and made a new left lens. This time no scratches but something wasnt right, It took about a day before I realized the left lens was made crooked. I wear no line bifocals and the transition to reading lens was higher toward my nose thus I could not focus. Took them back again and explained the issue clearly to the girl behind the counter. She decided, on her own to have both lenses re-made and put some prism in them to make my eyes work together. So she didnt listen to me at all and knew better than the me what I was experiencing EVEN THOUGH I TOOK A GREASE PENCIL AND DREW A LINE ON THE LENS SHOWING THE PROBLEM WITH THE BIFOCAL. So I took my remade glasses, with the prism in the lenses and tried to wear them. It didnt take long before I had headaches and nausea. So next I went back, for the FORTH time and got one of the better trained monkeys that work at this place and had them remade once again. Finally I have a pair of glasses that work. How ever they only write the prescription for one year unlike most other places, with real Doctors. The time I wasted going back and forth, not being able to work because of not being able to read a computer screen, for the small saving you get over a professional Doctors office, its just not worth it to go there.

Appointment times have no meaning at this store. The optometrist seemed like he could care less about my eyesight.staff failed to let me know that half rim frames did not work with my prescription.glasses started coming apart after two days.lenses Harry and I was told it was normal,confocal was set to high on my line of vision,was told thats how no line bifocals were made.after a week of getting used to them,nothing has changed and they wont do anything about it.stay away from this store.

Worst place Ive ever been. I love the company as a whole and have great experience in other locations but this one has a terrible staff all around. Took me 4 weeks to finally have my glasses because they messed up and then wanted to deny blame and because they didnt have my lences in stock. So glasses I should have gotten in an hour took weeks! My mother in law still hasnt gotten hers and she went in back on December 15th. That was nerly a month ago. Will NEVER go back there.

Had an apt booked for eye exam for myself and my husband at 12 pm and 12:30 pm(back in feb). We were not seen until half hour after each apt. Then we had to wait for the paperwork so we could try to pick out glasses. However we had our children with us and they were getting roully since they had to wait so long for our late appointments. When I initially booked these appointments for just eye exams, I had asked if I could book a contact appointment at a later date without having to have the eye exam done again? They said yes should not be a problem. Well I called and asked to book that contact appointment 2 days ago and again no one said there was a problem. Go to the scheduled apt at 11:30 am and found out the person had scheduled me for pm when they are closed. So they were nice and got me in at 12:00 pm. Was not seen or asked to step back until 12:20 pm. Mind you I had to wake my child up from a nap to get to this apt someone scheduled wrong in the first place. But then to get me in later then promised was getting rediculs! My child (7mo)of course didnt want to sit still any more. Well then the person comes in and tells me the Dr would have to check my eyes again as my last appointment was over 30 days ago. 30 DAYS ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? This was the whole problem I was trying to avoid from the beginning. But not once did anyone ever tell me I had 30 days to schedule another appointment. Or else I would have done so sooner. Very dissatisfied with this establishment and their lack of communication! We will not be back to this location again!
