I had gotten new glasses the beginning of July and had an issue with vision lines in my glasses. They rechecked my prescription and verified everything was good there. We went over possible causes and some solutions we could try before considering a remake or replacement. Very helpful staff!

I Had an eye exam and it worked towards purchasing contacts.The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I also like that they send me home give me home with a set of contacts to try out to make sure they work before I spend money investing in the purchase.

The doctor Chad took his time to explain everything to me including my eye image and cleared all the questions I had on my previous eye glasses. The picking of my glasses also was a nice experience - Beth spent over an hour going though different options from using insurance coverage, coupons, additional pairs, and all different types of lenses. It was an enjoyful Friday afternoon after work visit.

Appt was at 3:40 and didnt get seen till about 430. Prices are astronomical. With my vision insurance covering most of it its still the same price as buying on line with no isurance. You guys are just trying to screw me over.

Amazing!! She took the time to get to know me and find out what was causing my right eye to be blurry. She did additional testing and an exam to rule out some environmental factors. Even though it’s not completely solved, we have a lot more answers now as to why my vision has decreased in the last year. I’m excited to get my new prescription next week and finally be able to see clearly again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The optometrist was nice and knowledgeable. I got an appointment in a desired time frame and online booking was very easy. I especially like the fact that with their technology( special machine that uses images)I didnt have to have my eyes dilated to be examined.

Kiki was very sweet and got me all set for my first appointment. I wasn’t yet due for new frames and she was very informative and got me set up for an exam in a few months when I will be eligible for everything. Even though I ended up canceling my exam she was very sweet and helpful. I also loved to see everyone wearing masks, sanitizing everything after we tried stuff on, and helping me keep track of the glasses I liked so when I come back I will know which ones they were.

Wanted to look at frames after an eye exam. I stood around waiting for an available employee as they were all busy with other customers. As soon as I noticed that the older gray haired woman was free I went up and asked her if she could help me find some frames. She was very cold and it was very obvious that she was annoyed that I asked her for help. Which was strange considering I had just stood around watching her give amazing customer service to the other shoppers in the store. She explained all the deals, & walked them around to help them find what they wanted, while maintaining a friendly attitude. After I asked her for help she told me to sit down at a table, then handed me a paper on my insurance, then got up and walked away without saying anything. She then went over to the counter and made a comment to another employee while giving me and my family a disgusted look. You could tell she was saying something about us. This bothered me a lot considering this was not how she was treating all the other WHITE customers in the store. My family were the only minorities in the store. Very disappointed. I left without even looking at frames and decided I will go somewhere else.

We had 2 appointments back to back. My wife went first than they took someone else and I was an hour late.We had to reschedule an important appointment with our attorney.Totally unacceptable.The doctor himself was very thorough.The front where they did the glasses was awesome. Took time to compare our multiple insurances to make sure we were getting the best price and fitting went very well.

I visited the Cherry Vale store in Cherry Valley (Rockford), IL. The staff person I interacted with was a liar, disrespectful, and demonstrated the intelligence of an imbecile. Under NO circumstance will I ever recommend this LensCrafters store to anyone for any reason. I had such a horrible experience that I question even my current relationship with my primary store in Janesville where all the staff are excellent. In Janesville, WI, every staff member is well trained and knowledgeable about product and services. LensCrafters should use the Janesville store as a training center. Excellence abounds there.

The doctor was friendly and funny. Seeing the photos of the back of my eye was fascinating and much better than having my eyes dilated. The technician was very helpful and friendly, she helped me pick out a beautiful pair of frames for my glasses and sunglasses. Really helpful to be able to see myself in different frames side by side to help decide. Definitely a great experience.

Three stars is an average. Five stars for the great eye exam I received. Really appreciated the care and concern of Dr. Berentsen. However, the selection of frames is limited. When I found out they did not have lenses in stock, I was extremely disappointed. So only one star for that. Forced to drive to Madison to get my eyeglass prescription filled. Happily that store had a better selection and glasses were ready in 45 minutes.

Jan 2016 - Walked in and was able to get an exam for contacts on the spot. Char was helpful and even washed and fixed my glasses at no extra expense. Saw Dr Kathy Beerntsen for the exam and she was fantastic. Very thorough and entertained my in depth questions, as I have a profession that demands great eye sight. I was floored that such great service was available in a mall. If you know good eye care, you wont be disappointed with this optometrist. Thanks Kathy! Ill be back every year as long as shes there.4/1/17 Update: Ive since returned for an annual check up, and they were once again fantastic. I convinced a loved one to go see Kathy today as well, and she was excellent at listening to and answering her patients concerns. Her answers are straightforward and thorough. We loved the exam and havent decided on glasses yet, and they didnt apply pressure for us to buy today.

WOW ~ BEST customer service Ive ever experienced. I have gone to the Janesville LensCrafters for years. Never have had any problems with my glasses ~ until I broke a pair..... I went back in to see about fixing or replacing and without any hassle at all they were replaced. They expedited my order and were more than accommodating. I bought, glasses and sunglasses in may, they could not adjust glasses frame, so I chose a frame to replace them which were the same Oakley frame, I previously had, Dennis would not measure them because he said he already had measures because frame same as my previous frame from a year ago.Then after awhile I was having trouble with blurry mid range vision, this was on a Sunday and associate I had has been there along time and I asked her to check prescription and told her my problem.She came back and told me one side of bifocal was higher than the other and bifocals were too high because of my mid vision problem and she sent them in to be done, now they work.She said even though the same frame as last time, could be slight difference, and computer told her to remeasue and then she did and lowered bifocal a little. when I went into pickup these glasses I told associate how blurry sunglasses were on mid vision,I told her about this and felt bifocals too high, that Dennis was in there and I told her that I wanted nothing to do with him, so she tried to go to a to another associate because she new how I felt about him, well here comes Dennis, I told him how I had to get regular glasses redone, I told him I thought was pretty poor, he did not remeasure.He told me the same thing that he did not have to because of same frame, I told him I did not buy that and he said he did not care what I thought, because he knew he was right, then when associate told him my problem,he started going over his computer oh this is right, and then I said well they are not right if I cannot see good, he said I was not talking to you I was talking to her, and I said you better be talking to me because i am the one with the problem, he basically ignored me but finally told her she could Lower them a little, but how could he know how much without talking to me after all I am the customer. Really great customer service,Ha, and he’s some type of a manager. in my opinion, he is an egotistical, person, who does not seem to think customer service matters! New glasses same problem, I do not trust this guy, so am going to other store to see what they say.Kenneth Kunkle, I would rate this guy a negative 10, Other associates were great!

I was in this location over the weekend and the people that helped me were amazing. I did not end up getting glasses yet, because of my insurance but Dawn and Dawn were both amazing. I would highly recommend them. If you are in need of glasses and near this mall it is a must.

Avoid this place! Do not waste your time!This is my recent experience.I first called to make an appointment which I did. The day before my appointment I called to confirm the time and date and they told me they had no idea and I didnt have an appointment! I scheduled a new appointment and called to confirm that date the following week.After my examination the Dr. Told me my prescription for each eye. I told him I thought this was incorrect because it was drastically BETTER than my eyes have been for 15 years. They have never changed. He told me it was correct and he wouldnt change it. I asked if I could buy my brand of lenses and they said they didnt stock any. I took my prescription and purchased the lenses online according to the prescription. As I figured I cant see with them. I returned to the mall to ask what they could do and they wanted me to make another appointment to see a different Dr. I said ok but Id like a refund for the lenses I purchased for over $150 that were not correct due to the wrong prescription. The manager refused and said she would refund nothing since I bought them elsewhere. There is absolutely no reason I should be forced to purchase the wrong lenses because of their mis diagnosis!As to your response. Ive already done this and asked for a refund. Your support company told me that you are not responsible for your Drs and that I will get NOTHING back. Then they refused to respond to me. Fantastic service. NOT. RUN.

1 star simply because I have too. I had to reschedule my appointment and when I called I was hung up on. Then I finally got in for an appointment, that was at 3:20 and did not get in until 3:50. Finally after all is said and done I go to place my order and they demand full payment before they order them. I expressed my displeasure in paying for a product I dont have but gave in due to needing the glasses. Then I get a text stating my glasses are in. I drive all the way there. And the lenses are WRONG. And then they wanted ME to pay the difference in the error the staff said that SHE made when placing the order. The lense was GREEN. And the store manager Dennis said the lenses were made correctly per the order sheet so there is technically nothing wrong with them. Obviously, yes there is otherwise I wouldnt be sending them back. And he stated I can contact customer service online for further service. So I did and the customer service assured me that he would have a manager get back to me. 2 days later Dennis calls me to tell me the same thing over again. I asked him why he was calling me when I was told that customer service will be getting back to me. So I called the customer service line yet again. To be told they do NOT offer resolutions, they simply send you to the manager of the store. Please tell me how this resolves the TERRIBLE customer service Ive now been through?

I tried this place and it was just awful. My mom and I got contacts from there. He set up a follow up appt for her but not me. Literally the next they I had them they made one of my eyes red. I went with my mom to see him for her appointment and also asked about my eye. He spoke to me for a 30 seconds and charge me for a full appointment 🙅🏽‍♀️ Seriously they take advantage he was just so rude about the whole thing never going back there

The optometrist was excellent. Although the staff was quite friendly, they were not particularly helpful regarding frame selection. It was more of a look over there, there and there for frames, and that was it. Not at all like other places like Eyewear Express, which was very helpful with frame selections and options, Unfortunately, they were out-of-network. Lenscrafters was in network, but out of touch

Just left there...horrible and rude service. Same person who was completely rude the day I got my eye exam (because they had messed up what insurance they ran after I told them it needed to be updated 3 times), now I go to get my glasses which definitely are NOT right...is completely rude to me. After being rude and she completely realizes I am mad then suddenly she acts like she just wants to help. Never going back here.

The Doctor was excellent. The service picking out mine and my sons frames was great. Unfortunately when I called to see if our glasses were in on the day I was told our glasses would be ready, I was put on hold while they checked. Then someone picked up the phone said what the hell and hung up on me. So naturally I called back, and was more than a little upset. Just to find out that my glasses were not in yet. Needless to say this will be my first and last transaction with this Lenscrafters, possibly any Lenscrafters. If it wasnt for the excellent experience with the Doctor and picking out our frames I would have rated one star.
