The bakery made a custom cake super fast and it turned out so great. The bakery staff and greeters were very nice too. Keep up the great work.

Its a typical super Wal Mart. A lot of variety, good prices, grocery, home, and more all in one convenient location. This particular store recently converted to mainly being self checkout which I have mixed feelings about. Its nice if you dont have much but if you have a cartload there are only maybe 2 regular lines open so you may be in for a wait. They also recently rearranged which Im not a fan of either. As a whole its still a very convenient store to have around.

Store is almost ALL self checkout now which never goes smoothly when youre buying 2 weeks worth of food, toiletries, clothes and household stuff. Especially when its late and the store is closing. Despite a lot of issues where we needed an employee in self check area to help us Jeremy was awesome. He was attentive and very friendly when he couldve been very frustrated. Shout out to the employee who was checking receipts at the door too, I didnt catch his name but he liked to sing! He was super friendly and helpful and apologized that we had so many problems with the checkout process.Even though I despise self checkouts these 2 guys made the experience much less frustrating...thank you!!

The store is a typical Wal-Mart, no issue there. Try to call to get a simple answer about stock though? I tried calling electronics 4 times, customer service 2 times, and photo center 2 times. Not one SINGLE person could bother to answer a phone. Very frustrating....

The lady in customer service should not be in customer service. Very, very bad at this. Asked for price check. Was hung up on, then transferred 3 times to different departments who try and transfer me back.Wow 🙄

Some employees at this store are severely lacking in customer service skills. Auto department is not very helpful, with a rude employee more concerned with telling people not to park near service area instead of assisting them. We took pur business somewhere else instead.

Not too keen on their changes. Instead of knowing exactly where to go in a pinch, Im searching and a quick trip turns to half hour or more.Other than that, this place has had almost everything you need!

I wanted to try Walmart internet service so logged on and went thru the easy to follow instructions and menus. I picked out common items and a few special items I havent tried before. Clicking on the item brings nutritional info, very helpful if you are watching your health. You also are offered the option of substitution if not in stock or any other reason. You are also given the choice of pickup or having it delivered for a fee. Pickup is free and they will give you a time window to pick up your order and it will be ready when you arrive. There is a minimum order of $35 to get no extra charges but the pickup process is pretty streamlined and fast. You text them when you leave home and they will have your order waiting for you guaranteed! Show ID and they even put it in your car for you. I had one substitution in an out of stock Hormel Essential item but was advised and approved the acceptable substitution. Overall I enjoyed the experience and I finally went home without any items I had NOT intended to buy in the first place!

Theres never anyone around to help anymore, & to top it off theres No one to check you out, only self check. If possible I will avoid this place like the plague

I went to Walmart for many things I needed and was not able to get everything. It was hard to find help on the floor and hard to get around in some areas that look like they were being renovated . One employee in the gardening area was very helpful and spent a considerable amount of time answering my questions and helping me find exactly what I was looking for which I was unable to find even with her help. Stock on many things was low to non-existent which was frustrating for me. I did ask for help loading my car with heavy bags of soil upon checking out and was assisted immediately. Employees were friendly but very busy trying to help others as well. I feel there could have been more employees available in the departments to ask for help and the store could have been more clean and organized to get around easier.

Im disappointed that Walmart is all self checkout aside from maybe the Electronics/ Automotive & a few customer service areas. Also the shelves are almost ALWAYS bare or have minimal items. Prices are soaring and less employees.Sam Walton is turning in his grave!!

Placed a curbside pick up order. Went to check on order this morning and it is marked as canceled due to a system problem. Ok I can understand things happen but you dont send out any kind of notifications through either the app or through email letting people know this? I am sure some people showed up to pick up their order and found out then. Very poorly handled. I will be going back to Woodmans for pick up.

Finally getting in more bicycle stock. Disappointed they have all self service checkouts. Where have all of the smiling helpful staff gone? As one customer put it, we are now unpaid Walmart employees.

Im always running errands and usually end up going to this location all the time. I really like how this location is laid out. I do wish their holiday section was as big as the one up in Madison. Their prices are pretty good and I can get quite a bit in one trip without having to spend so much money!

This Walmart really deserves 2 1/2 stars, they are ALWAYS out of something! & had no plans to restock any of the items I was looking for at anytime soon! & a lot of items they do not even carry any longer. The pick-up system at Walmart pales in comparison to the well-oiled machine at Target where they practically have your order outside before you are fully parked. And Target can fill orders in less than two hours whereas it’s usually 6-12 hours for Walmart.We order from Walmart when we absolutely need to but since March 2020, Target has earned our loyalty.

There were two possibly three check out clerks working on Sunday afternoon. For lack of a better word Ill use the word bullpen for the self-checkout. The bullpen was totally full with six people waiting to get in there to check out! Something needs to be done so that customers can get out faster!

This store is absolutely awful. Whether you are going to go shopping physically or through online delivery, it doesnt matter--prepare yourself for the worst and most stressful experience you can possibly imagine. My first time ordering online in store pick up. I ordered on the 26th an they said it’s free 4 day holed well I’m trying to pick it to day they said it’s ready to be picked up an can be at 6am -11pm on the email I got well I been trying to get ahold of Walmart since 6am i Evan went in to the store to ask about pick up they said it don’t open till 7am well now I been trying to call since 7am the last 15 mints an no answer. It is a basic Wal-Mart. The staff seems to care less each day. They will walk past you as you ask for help and act like it is a problem that you might want help or ask a question.

All garden purchases HAVE to be taken into the store to be self checked out. Not only inconvenient but very heavy when it comes to dirt. It seems that Walmart in Whitewater could care less about their customers now that they have run off any competition.

I seriously hate shopping here!! All the cameras are one thing but to have Wal-Mart employees stop people at the door to look at receipts is down right ridiculous!! I easily spent at least 60 dollars on average when I shop there so to be made to feel like a thief as Im leaving makes me avoid this store as much as possible! No floor help, shelves are a mess and then, as if I am not exhausted enough, I have to check myself out. NOT PME FULL SERVICE CHECKOUT OPEN.. So on 1/2 the space a cleark at a check out counter gets..I am scanning and dropping my groceries, having to shift bags left to right, because I had a full cart and have what help there was standing in a group talking. Then a person. At the door is checking that I paid for everything. I AM DONE

Im a diabetic and the only place Ive ever been able to find sugar-free sweet tea is Walmart and theyre the only ones I know that make it and have it it tastes just like regular sweet tea without the sugar exactly what I need for my diabetes

Very little stock. Limited sizes of clothing. Just a few plus size jeans and Capri pants. Large area in plus size clothing barren. Very few dishes or dish sets. Disappointed ☹️

If I can give this pictucular walmart a zero I would, the manager and staff treat their customers like peasants, I spent %400 in there and bought one wrong thing(a curling iron)I took it back I lost the receit for the first time in my life, I couldnt say Im sorry any more they told me they can take back $50 and under and my item was $70 $20 more then $50,the way they treated me I wouldnt treat a dog,plus no where in that store is it written what they claimed they said they can say ⁷o whatever they want,ok sure but why u so evil with the people who spent so much money in you stor? One very helpful lady employee whose good effort is offset by some other employees rudeness. Restroom at front of store not clean. Even a delivery driver was irritating by unnecessary horn honking.

Everytime I am at WalMart I make one of the employees check me out and bag. Theres usually 3-4 standing around. They are there to serve you. I tell the person in the front who wants to check my bag, no, your employee checked me out. You dont have to show them anything, and they cannot make you unless they actually claim you shoplifted. Thats a lawsuit on Wal-Mart if their story is incorrect. So, those 3-5 employees standing around can check people out!!

Its a Walmart with all of the issues and stereotypical scenarios that go with it. Curbside pickup has gotten a bit worse as far as substitutions and even being honest about whats in stock.There were a few items in my last order that they said they didnt have and didnt substitute. I didnt know someone in our household was going in that same morning to pick up some things, so I asked them to check some items for me. Sure enough, they had them. This was about an hour after I picked up my order. There was another item that the had be used as a substitution in the past. They had it. I guess they decided not to sub.At the end of the day, its Walmart. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Never will I go back! No choice but self checkout is ridiculous! I dont work there and never will. Give me the employee discount if you want me to do the work. They really know how to make you feel like your a thief... Employees steel more than customers but you make your customer feel like a criminal! Unbelievable

I hate self checkout and that is all they have now. Hit or miss on how you are treated by employees. Some are wonderful and some not so much. Mask wearing seems to be enforced for the most part which is good. Some employees could stand to practice not being snippy or short to the point of rudeness. I usually go early when there are quite a few seniors shopping. This store might not be a good fit for all of us.

The liquor store was well stocked with a wide variety of choices and knowledgeable friendly staff. The prices were good too.

Its Walmart. Finding a time of day/week that I can be there without freaking out due to crowding.The worst problems are the fault of grossly inconsiderate customers, so I cant fault them for that.

Want to give a shout out to the gentlemen in the bike department, JIM, he went out of his way to find our granddaughter a bike since there were hardly any put together.Today she road her bike without training wheels and she was promised a new one when that happened! We got there and yeah.. one or two boys bikes.... He found one she loved, put together!

I normally enjoy shopping at this Walmart but not tonight, it was messy and I noticed a lot of stuff thrown in other departments where it shouldnt be. Product not being pulled forward so you can reach it, an example would be the diaper section in the baby department and no one around to help you get something down. A couple opened and empty boxes thrown on a shelf because some lowlife decided to steal the product. Someone pulled all the pacifiers off a hook and either threw them on the ground shelf or set them all on a upper shelf. They need more people working and straightening the shelves, pulling stuff forward and cleaning empty boxes off the shelf where there is no product left. I feel sorry for the workers that have to clean up after some of these shoppers. I have to wonder if some of the shoppers were raised in a barn. I get it the employees are there to work but for god sake have a little pride and dont make it more work for them because you are lazy. I would be embarrassed to work there seeing the store like I did tonight. One last thing, there were more carts in the parking lot than there were in the store AND PEOPLE please put your carts in the cart coral, its really not that hard. Again were ya raised in a barn!!! At least the cashier was nice, that was the best part of my shopping trip.

Walmart still has everything under one roofBut I doubt that I will ever go back there for a large shopping run. They replaced all the checkout lines with self check out kiosks. Blech! I find it Ironic that no one is wiping down consistently the self-checkout machines, but the overhead speaker keeps telling you to get your covid-19 vaccinations.

This location is consistently out of products and frequently has empty shelves. The parking lots dirty and they are in the process of ‘remodeling’ which included removing/replacing the dozens of staffed checkout lanes with a massive self check out queues. Ironic that the Target in town has 0 self checkouts!

Easy to find I need that... nice place

All the registers are self check out. It was chaotic and the entrance to the registers was not clearly marked, very confusing to get to. The humans employees were rude if youre lucky enough to get one to assist you. The door greeter demanded to see our receipt as we exited. They treated us like criminals. We are very disappointed by the service.

This is a very plentiful walmart in comparison to lake geneva, Delavan, and whitewater

Got a flat, got in quickly and they even let me know I could save $70 getting a patch vs a whole new tire. They fixed it quickly and had me happily on my way.

No cashiers, all self-checkout, they don’t pay me to scan and bag my own items. Needless to say I will not be returning to this store.

Dear Walmart of Janesville, WI,I am highly disappointed in your choice to renovate the store so that there will be only four checkout Lanes other than self checkout. I was born into a union family and I worked Union most of my life. I am totally against anything that companies do to cut employees. Plus I am older I work hard all week and I do not want to check out my own groceries and bag my own groceries. I believe Janesville has a high population of elderly people and Union people. You are making a mistake which is going to cost you the patronage of quite a few of us. I will no longer be shopping at your store. And I will be sure to tell everyone I know about your change and the jobs it will eliminate. Your employees tried their best to tell me that it will not eliminate jobs when I was in there today and saw what you were doing. I did not see any cashier at a register that I could even go to they did help me in the self-checkout so that I did not have to do it myself but that does not change things. You still have chosen to take jobs away from the Rock County area and replace friendly people with machines. Im a social person and I like interaction with people not machines youve lost me as a customer.

Disorganized, messy, not clean... I wish this Walmart was better managed and taken care of. There is so much traffic through the store contributing to the mess, but there has to be a better solution. I even tried doing pickup orders but all 8 orders I have tried have ended up with at least 2 items that show in stock on the app, bit not available by the time I get my order later that same day.

Walmart has become a Not shopper friendly store. They want you to do your own scanning and bagging. No cashiers just people who stand there and watch you.

I LOVE Walmart, it has all my necessities. And they arent super expansive. I got my first pair of corgo pants there. And dress pants. This is the better version of target. And I love the people and workers, so nice. 10/10 Recommend.

A wonderful store with great friendly associates and able to get all the items I needed from regular items to grocery items! Their Auto Care Center is now back open 😊so going back to get an oil change there soon and my tires rotated and balanced! Their pharmacy has very friendly associates there and very helpful! ❤️

Worse customer service ever. And now you want these elderly people to self check out. I will not be back at the Janesville walmart ever. I will spend more money to go somewhere else, were Im appreciated as customer, especially after what my family dealt with on Sunday July 11th.

Nice store, but like so many others, stock is low and limited.

Self check out only no guidance for a new situation, each station is not cleaned at all at least not while I was there. They are restructuring the aisles again not very good for customers that are making them their millions of dollars excuse me billions of dollars! I will now make it an extreme effort to go to any other local store other than Walmart!

This use to be my favorite Walmart, but almost the whole place is self checkout now. Its not convenient or faster so I will be going to a different Walmart whenever possible.

Found what I was looking for. For whatever reason, theres rarely enough cashiers working.

I do not receive a paycheck from Walmart so I dont get why I have to check and bag my purchases. I do like their prices though but its kind of weird even though I have to check and bag my own groceries and goods the prices didnt go down.

We waited for over 35 minutes for our pickup order and people that got their after we had been there for 25 minutes got their order first. They were very very far behind and they were apologetic but it should never ever take that long and we have had many many problems with this this year. Something needs to be done about it immediately its ridiculous whats going on its not convenient for your customers when this is ran in such a shoddy way

Not a bad place. I generally avoid wally world. But this pickup experience was okay. I did have to call twice to get thru to pickup my order since I didnt have the app, but it worked!

Almost all of the check outs are self-service. The store has no logic to how item are placed. In the future I will be avoiding this place as much as possible.

Ive been to the store twice in a month and both times I was treated like a criminal and had my receipt checked. Ive never stolen a thing in my life! Ive never dealt with this at any other walmart. If this is how they treat their honest customers then Im done shopping there. Absolutely disgraceful how disrespectful they are to their customers.

Went to the liquor store with my 4 daughters, the youngest being 33. Because one daughter, not the youngest, didnt have her ID, they would not sell to us. The Janesville Walmart liquor store sucks, and is not worth my time ever again!

Garden center is huge! Their Scotts mulch is a better deal than Home Depot. You get more in a bag.

Not impressed. Store was dirty, shelves are not stocked, no one to be found to help, and then I go to checkout and they have made all the registers self checkouts. I also should mention that numerous items have gone up in price as well. Then to top it off we are now staffing someone at the door to hold you up to check your receipt and items. If you are worried that it is being stolen maybe you shouldn’t have self checkouts!

Never really cared much for Wslmart, havent been there for years, went looking for a Acer keyboard, which their website said they carried, theydid not, they are supposed to be always the low price. But l Pais more for Toliet paper, paper towel a, and kleenex than l do at other local stores, now they have only self checkouts, lm a old person and hate those, will most likely be many more years before l go there again

The green peppers were $1.98 a lb. & they were junk. Wrinkled and cracked. The prices are rather high for other products as well. I went there for convenience.

Paying more to accommodate the 15 dollars in he minimum wage yet they dont have a cashier to ring your groceries up everything is self-serve simply pathetic.
