Been to Mid City Guns multiple times now, friendly staff and a wide selection of items! Prices are fair, some are higher then other local stores but many items are competitively priced. What sets Mid City Guns apart from other local stores is the vast amount of guns and a great store layout. Highly recommend checking their stock out.

Owner very rude. Talks down to you. Not a friendly place. Very rude to women. Prices higher than most places. Been in 3 times and got the same attitude each time. Wont be back. Go to CTR much nicer place.

Prices were a little high, but not so much that it was unreasonable during this shortage. They had a large selection of guns. The ammo shelves were very well stocked too. I found 30-06 when I could not get any at farm and fleet, Walmart, fleet farm, and dunhams. I also was approached and asked what he could help me with. They were also helpful on the phone before I drove there. Id go back again.

Have been there two times . First time they treated me like a customer they cared about and actually counted the ammo ( I was selling rifle,hand gun and ammo ) the second time, I went he didnt count the ammo he just low balled me . So when I when somewhere else thats when I found out it is illegal for gun shops to buy back ammo !?But they can take it for free !. Sure was nice of Mid CityGuns not to mention that ever! THEY STOLE THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS FROM ME ! Very dishonest business practice! I wont ever be going back 😕.

First guy to greet me seemed like he had an attitude or was having a bad day and this was my second time in this store same attitude both times. They’re only getting two stars because they had my ammo at a cheap price but I won’t shop there again I suggest CTR Arms way friendlier better atmosphere

Very nice, professional, and easy to be around. I bought two Springfield Hellcat’s from them last week and it was an awesome experience. Did my paperwork, they spent five minutes on the phone and I was walking out with my gun. The best gun shop in the Janesville area by far.

I would be very wary about going to this place or even trying to place a phone call. It seems like you are disturbing them anytime you walk in or you call to ask a question. I called this morning and asked about an attachment, they say they don’t have one and then hung up Immediately. Not the greatest customer service.

Owner is always in a bad mood. Doesn’t know the value of his firearms everything is upcharged including ammo. Not friendly if you’re not a regular. I recommend CT firearms and archery in Monroe.

Larry is a good man and can talk hours with him (I have). Bought numerous guns from him, on great deals! Very knowledgeable in his profession. That being said, for beginners it is a huge plus. Friendly and clean environment.

My dad and I love this place. Love to go in and browse, and joke around with the guys. These guys have, or can get it all. They have firearms ranging from budget friendly, to mind blowing. All kinds of accesories, and good prices on ammo. New store layout looks great, and same awesome service. Larry wont let me test drive the golf carts, but they still earned 5 stars. Cant wait to continue expanding and upgrading my Ruger collection.

Old man with the gray stash was not very friendly. Also, prices seemed a little high.Advice: You should be friendly to everyone that comes through those doors!

Not a problem... you can look at, hold & ask questions about anything they got! They know threir stuff... and if they dont have what you want... they will do their best to get it... and still give you a great price!

Larry was very helpful and patient with me as I tried to figure out the best first weapon for me for home defense, etc. He is very knowledgeable and fair. I would recommend Beloit Sports Center to anyone...even a newbee like me.

The only reason that they get a one star rating is because I cant give them a zero. Over the years I have put up with times really been nice and times where theyve been extremely mean especially the owner. I just bought a $3000 rifle from there and since then have gone in multiple times and gotten yelled at, Im not talking about just being rude to someone, I mean really yelled that. It is completely uncalled for. I know Im not the only one, because if you go on there and you dont know exactly what youre talking about and are an expert on guns you get put down by the owner, I believe his name is Larry, but Im not positive. Big tall guy. And my friends by a lot of guns, but it wont be from there anymore.
