Just heard me out and answered some questions of mine. Came back later on after going to several other dealerships. Ended up leaving with a car. Also, I was with my dad, he has mobility challenges, Francisco was very patient and generous. I came back and he assisted me again. I came in to Nissan for a repair on a part of my vehicle that had been recalled. The service was free, so I thought. Andrew then asked me if I wanted a transmission flush because I hadn’t gotten one. I agreed to just that for $190 and was told it would be an hour, hour and a half max. Here’s where the problem begin. My appointment was at 9:45am. I left around 10:15 and told Andrew I would be back at noon. I got back to Andrew stating that my bumper completely fell off but it was damaged anyway…. (my side had been scrapped but it wasn’t FALLING off, and hasn’t after hitting bumps or whatever) I also did not get my car back until 1pm. At that point, my cost was $240. $50 more than what I was told. I told Andrew that wasn’t what he told me my cost was and he begin to come up with lies about taxes, fees and tools used on my car…… WHY are customers paying for the tools YOU ALL use. I already hated going to my dealership for things regarding my car because it’s countless places that do better jobs for cheaper but I would NEVER step foot in that Nissan dealership again. I don’t care if my whole car is falling apart, I’ll just take it to junk yard. Every time I come there it’s an issue, they are liars and that was the last straw.

We were once again very pleased with our salesperson Peter Sakleh. Peter is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. We would continue to use Peter as our salesperson for all future dealings.However, the dealership itself seemed to have changed in the past three years. The general manager, the finance manager and even the cashier acted as if we were a bother and wasting their time. Had it not been for Peter, we probably would have gone elsewhere.Thank you, Peter!!

Michelle and I went in to just look around to get an idea for what we might like. We seen the Nissan kick. So, we met Peter our salesman and he answered all the questions we had about the vehicle and the one he didnt he went back to the service department and talked to the mechanics to ask them about any possible mechanical problems. We told Peter the highest we could go with monthly payments. Michelle and I fell in love with the kick and he really worked to get us down to our desired monthly payment. We were really happy with the first time we bought our van 9 years ago and even happier with our experience this time. GEORGE IS THE MAN! Came in thinking I’d never leave the lot in a car period very sad…. He made it happen told him a few features I like I now have a 2021 Sentra. I was in tears! During the process it was near impossible to get financed due to credit issues… well they made it happen! Never was big on Sentra but Nissan went over the top with 2021! I go in and visit I’m not just another customer, George remembers me as a person it’s like a family there! Amazing people reassuring always!

Anthony R. was my services rep. Anthony walked my vehicle, asked me questions, asked if I wanted the onsite car wash and shared that the dryer could leave spots (he didnt have to say that and I appreciated his attention to that detail that could be a deal breaker for some), My email coupon was honored, he gave me an estimated time for when the car would be ready and then found me to give me updates. My car was ready in about an hour (less time than Anthony and I anticipated), Anthony walked me through the paperwork and I am looking forward to my next appointment with him as my rep.

I will not be coming back to this place. They have either new people or management and they have horrible customer service. The old crew was better. Will not buy another car from this place or ever get it serviced again. I had an appointment and they had me in there for 2 and half hours. They was mad cause i had my check engine diagnosed by auto zone so they couldnt charge me more and lie about oh it is a canister valve. The service manager told me that it was my transmission but if he had my car he wouldnt do nothing to it. So right there i knew he was lying. I just paid the car off and put 1500 dollars into it at nissan last year. I took it to merlins yesterday they cleared the code P0456. I just have a feeling they want my car back since its a car shortage. But it sucks that dealerships be dishonest to people the that pays off cars, or even still brings it to service. This place use to be good not anymore.

The dealer ship has been wonderful and our whole experience with them has been fabulous. Amanda our Sales rep was incredible and worked great with my young daughter who was a first time car buys. And the Sale manager was just as kind.The service department: Their communications was great as well. The text reminders of appointment where very clear and great to have. They did all they could to review the heating issue in our new kicks and guided us on where to go with our unsolved issue. Both the service desk assistant and the manager followed up with us to explain the problem to be sure we fully understood what out heating/air conditioning issue was. Could not ask for better follow up and customer service.We are disappointed with the brand new car though. The heating/Air conditioning system is not working properly and it looks as though is is an operating issue with all new Kicks. The dealer ship tested other new Kicks on the lot and the are operating the same odd way. The entire heating system is not regulating correctly. This needs to be look at via Nissan corporate offices to get a fix for all Kicks and do a recall as soon as possible.

The customer service of the Service Department here is terrible. I called on a Tuesday (7/6) and left a VM. Also called the mainline and they said service would get back to me. By Friday (7/9) no call so I figured they were busy servicing vehicles. I leave another voice-mail. 7 days later no call back. Our 2014 Nissan stops accelerating on the highway and we have to pull over. We want Nissan to check this out as its a safety issue. Two thumbs down.

Great people to work with. Had a transmission issue so i took the car, from the start to end, Justin at the service center was really helpful. He spent a ton of time working with the extended warranty people to get the work all figured out for about 3 weeks. Once everything was set with the warranty people, they were able to get the transmission replaced in 2 days. Highly recommended!!Had oil change and some recalls fixed here, great people to work with. They gave me a loner car while the work was being performed for free.

Brought in my Maxima on 1/4/21 for an oil change, the service manager was the initial person who i dealt with. I Went in as a walk-in but was told I needed an appointment. Fine, I made an appointment for 2 days later for an oil change & a recall. I got an email confirmation but noticed the service manager had added TIRE ROTATION onto the appointment even though I did not ask for this service, I had already got the tire rotation done else where 2 weeks prior.Came back 2 days later and dropped of my vehicle for repair and oil change. I told the advisor I did not want the tire rotation because it was already done. No problem right? I Come back to pick up my car and after paying and reviewing my invoice didnt add up, they STILL performed the tire rotation and wanted to charge me. The cashier was nice to me and said if anything is incorrect we can refund it after she gets approval. I spoke with the manager and he blamed it on a new hire and offered me a credit (NOT A REFUND). WHY WOULD I WANT A CREDIT!? Finally the nice cashier said she would refund me, and all he said was if you wanna refund him go ahead and walked away. I was never offered for them rotate my tires back to normal or anything for this inconvenience. Now I have to take time out of my day yet again to rotate them back to how they were for their screw up. Not only is this wasting my time its costing me money. I will never step foot into this dealership again nor do I recommend anyone getting service done here. Take the drive and go else where, not worth the headaches.

The overall experience was average. I first worked with Amanda who told me I would be given a $500 credit for my trade-in, which was a lie. The trade-in allowance was $860. I also told Amanda I was prepared to pay in total $1000 in total including the trade-in allowance down payment. I was switched over to Peter later in the process who was a very kind and considerate young man and I am sure did not know of the blatant lies that had been told to me. I had also explained to Amanda that I needed to stay around $350 for a car payment in which she stated that was and I quote totally doable. So, while I did walk away with a car, I was still lied too, did not get the payment I needed for my budget, but learned some valuable life lessons. While Peter did an outstanding job, I am pretty sure I will have no use for this company again due to the straight out lie. I have already advised my daughter and her husband to look elsewhere where moral standards are a little higher. As you know, when one person in the family gets a new car, car fever spreads quickly. I was there a total of 6 hours and it was closing time, so no I did not take time to read all the forms. Bet you next time I do. And I will never again buy a car unless I get the car payment I want. So, in six months when I trade this vehicle in, it will not be with Thomas Nissan.Thanks,Angela Smith

He was very kind, prompt in returning our call and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of after a bad experience earlier in the morning at a different Nissan Dealership. My first and last time servicing my vehicle here which sucks because the next closest infiniti/nissan dealer is in orland. Had an oil change for 1:30. Utilized the shuttle service to get back to work close by and intended to just pick it up on my break after a few hours. I gave them a call around 4:30 to get an estimated Eta as to when my vehicle would be ready. They placed me on a brief hold and responded the tech said he will have it done by closing time. I could work there for you guys, answer phones and tell that to every oil change customer, i would surely hope itd be done by close. It wasnt done until 6pm. Defeats the purpose of an appointment if you really think about it. I understand being backed up but to make me wait 5 hours for an oil change and then still charge me full price? Im good on this service dep.

Service Department has been getting worse and worse over the last few years. Revolving door for service managers. They had my car for a week and wouldnt return calls in order for me to pick it up. Justin always had excuses and even lied about running diagnostics. Charged me $177 adn told me they didnt find anything. Took my car to Hawkinson Nissan in Matteson to find competent and friendly staff. They ran the diagnostics and found and fixed the problem in a few hours! I called Greg Thomas, a supposed manager, and he couldnt care less. Never going back.

Mike in service really went over and beyond to make sure that my vehicle was taken care of. There was an outage due a storm, he moved my car to another facility and ask the mechanic that was doing the work to come in on his off day to finish my brake job. Now that is service. I really appreciate you all and I will be back for other service needs.

I originally bought my Nissan Altima at Thomas Nissan and Jose was super friendly during the process. But I switched to Bill Kay Nissan (way better).When I was having a continuous ticking noise coming from my front left tire, I took it in to have it checked. I was told that it was because I didn’t have “Nissan Certified Pads and Rotors”. Then they proceed to tell me that I needed to spend over $600 to have all of them replaced even though the front Pads and rotors were brand new. This was not my tipping point though.Then when I was considering turning my car in and getting a new car, the sales team asked me if I wanted to check my credit to see if I would even qualify. THEY DID NOT MENTION THAT THEY WERE APPLYING FOR LOANS FOR ME. Also they had me test drive the Nissan Kicks to see if I liked that despite telling them that I do not want a Nissan car anymore. I absolutely hated that car and told the sales guy that. So I left and went home.A couple of days later, I started receiving emails and documents in the mail that I did not qualify for a loan and others saying I have qualified. ALL OF THE LOANS WERE FOR THE NISSAN KICKS, WHICH I STATED THAT I DID NOT LIKE THAT CAR AND WOULD NEVER PURCHASE IT. I never applied for a loan. I was told they just wanted to check my credit. Months go by and I have gotten over 10 documents for my loans. Of course this shows up on my credit.These sales people need to be transparent and the service department are just in it for the money in my opinion. I do not recommend this dealership.

I brought my car in because there was some shaking in my steering wheel they diagnosed it was my tires and had OEM tires on and aligned the next day cheaper than discount tire or anywhere else I had looked.Very fast work great pricing and I was at work and unable to pick up my car during business hours so they delivered my car to me for free. Would recommend to anyone who needs repairs

This was my second experience with Amanda at Thomas Nissan and she is by far the best person i have worked with during my car buying experience. From the moment i walked in her goal was to get me into the car i wanted. Her upbeat and positive personality is what sets her apart from the rest. Thomas Nissan is very lucky to have her and i am blessed to have worked with her. The managers there are great as well. I had spoke with Eddie a couple times and his goal was to get me what i wanted with saving me the most money and he would do everything he could to make it right! Thomas Nissan Joliet always provides the best service, compared to other Nissan dealers in the Greater Chicago area. Ive visited two other Nissan dealers due to distance from my place, but finally I came back to Thomas because of their great service. For example, I got lost a tiny plastic tip connected to my trunk holder, and asked to several Nissan service centers how to get it. Another place told me it was over $40 (kidding me? a tiny plastic tip), but Thomas gave it for free. I am always happy with them whenever Ive got serviced.
