Purchased a dishwasher online from the Lowell, AR store for delivery to my rental house in Anderson, MO. The order was transferred to Joplin. Waited many weeks for the order due to the supply chain and Covid. Understood. Once the appliance arrived I called to have it delivered. Metro could not accommodate my tenants or my work schedule on Friday but I spoke to Dana and she set it up for Monday at 4pm or after. My tenant took off work early to be there for delivery. I received a call at 8am Monday from the delivery truck indicating they were at the house. I told him we had it set for 4pm or after. He said he wouldn’t be able to come back but would come back on Tuesday and to call Ashley and she would set it up. I called and spoke to Ashley and she said her driver couldn’t be there Tuesday at 4pm or after. They only had morning routes and then when they were done the driver goes home. I told her my tenants work and I live and work in Rogers. She was supposed to talk with the manager and call me back. Never heard from her. Wednesday came and no word. I called again on Thursday and again, Ashley would not try to help in any way. The only help she offered was to refund my money! I called the General Manager and left a message and asked for him to call me. The GM wouldn’t even return my call! Needless to say I had to drive 2hours and pick it up myself. Thankfully, I spoke to Tom, the only one with any customer service skills, and he gave a credit of $36. If leadership reads this review I highly suggest removing Ashley from the front lines as she has no business dealing with customers. She’s clearly only there to get a check.
My father had done business with this location in the past and when I was in the market for a new washer and dryer it was here we come. Troy was an exceptional salesman making us feel wanted and welcome he ordered the set we desired and it arrived earlier than expected which was a great bonus. Nick and Mikey delivered the appliances and the service extended to them, they were so awesome it was like having a welcoming family visit. They explained about a warranty and I spoke with Tom and again the family feel could be felt over the phone. I am so satisfied I will no longer do business with anyone but Metro. You guys are the best.
Just bought a Whirlpool washer from Metro and the customer service that was displayed was second to none. My salesman Troy was terrific in every aspect. He without a doubt is a tremendous team member and went above and beyond to sale me a product that I was comfortable with while staying within my budget. I was treated with respect and loyalty 100% of the time. For that reason, I will continue to buy from Metro.

They are knowledgeable about their products and can offer valuable suggestions. I hope theyre there for a long time because Im sure I will need something that they sell again.

Bought a set of Whirlpool W &D...Bought a 10 yr no parts or labor extended warranty...used warranty 1 time . Called a 2nd time to use it and was told its a 5 year warranty. Been waiting 3 weeks for a repair...not hsppy

** Update**Metro appliance was able to loan us a microwave while awaiting repairs from the GE supplier. It was extremely nice of them to do so since the repairs (waiting on parts and repairmen) took approximately 2 months! Although we did have some minor complications initially with our new kitchen, it appears most of the issues were not directly related to Metro.Awful customer service. We purchased an entire kitchen from Metro Appliance Joplin and had difficulty from the start. While building our home we placed our order several weeks before the merchandise was needed in order to properly plan delivery. Our first problem was that we were sold the wrong size hood vent (I was never given an option and didnt know they came in different sizes.) This led to a delay with our cabinet installers who were building the hood. Then the refrigerator that I had purchased was not available when delivery time came. I paid for it, but there was not one to be found! We were given a temporary fridge and then had to AGAIN leave work to meet delivery people for the permanent replacement. I was told this was an upgrade but would not be charged the difference. One of my goals in my refrigerator choice was the ice maker. We will now be BUYING an additional ice maker as our fridge can hardly keep up with our daily use and is useless on days we are filling water jugs or small coolers for ball games. Our trim package for the microwave was given to another customer as theirs was dented so we had to wait for another one to arrive (remember...I ordered EARLY!) And now, less than 9 months after moving into our home our microwave has stopped working. It quit on Monday and Metro told us someone would be out Wednesday from GE. The GE rep said it would be a week before they could come out to check it, maybe longer if parts were needed. Mind you...the computer went out and door doesnt open and there was food still inside. WIth multiple calls to the manager to explain we would have rotten food in our home and heavily rely on our microwave, he has been extremely poor about leaving my husband on hold or not answering/returning his calls. I sincerely hope I can update this post with how they helped us to resolve our current situation, but at this point I would not recommend using this store.
Tom did a great job helping my daughter find the right stove for my wife. He is also good at keeping secrets as we surprised her with it for her Birthday. John did an excellent job switching the range from Natural Gas to Propane, and had it installed and operating in no time. Very nice experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend purchasing your appliances from Metro. Great job Joplin Metro!!

Salesperson was very professional and very helpful. She helped us replace our old front loading (and broken) washer and dryer with a new front loading set. The new ones are much quieter, use about 1/2 the water and clean better. Oh- And delivery was also very quick We are very happy,

We bought a dryer on the first and had it delivered by 9 am in the second for free! Oh yeah and the dryer was the was the cheapest in the area Lowes carries the same one we got but for $50 more and we would have had to wait a week t I have it delivered! The delivery man was great it was a bit muddy out and he offered to sweep the floor after he was done!
I have great regard for Metro Appliance. Ryan made my purchase easy and allowed time for me to make an informed decision. Delivery was great and done in a very timely and knowledgeable manner. My first experience with Metro was right after the Joplin tornado and, as is now, they were extremely helpful.
It was wonderful to shop and have Ryan help us find appliances for our new home. The prices were good and Black Friday shopping was fabulous. The options available were great. Delivery was on time and handled well. I’d shop here again and highly recommend Metro.

Where do I start. The sales person that helped doesn’t know what they is doing and lied to get us to buy the range and dishwasher and refrigerator. The manager is very rude. When the guy come and deliver our stuff he was great and very nice and done a great job. We was telling him about what happen in the store and he apologized over and over. Which me and my wife let him know it wasn’t his fault the sales person was rude and keep around her eyes at us. And lied to us about having something in stock and the price. I can’t remember the delivery driver name but he is a very great worker. Me and my wife thinks his name start with a C.

Almost bought a refrigerator that would have not fit. I brought in the size needed written on a piece of paper. I asked several times. At the last minute decided to check the size for myself. Sure enough it was an inch and a half to wide.Other than that, they have great prices and a lot of inventory.Although I bought my refrigerator elsewhere.I went in on a Thursday a little after 5:00, Jan. 10th. I do not recall her name. She was nice enough, just in a rush to leave.

Recently purchased a new stove for one of my rental properties. I purchased the stove on Friday, it was delivered on Monday. The delivery guy was extremely nice and they did a great job installing. Will be purchasing more appliances from this company and recommending them to friends and family.

My husband and I visited Metro on a Saturday, and because of unforeseen circumstances we arrived only about 30 minutes before they closed. The sales people were all very friendly and knowledgeable and the girl who helped us (Ashley?) was amazing! We told her we wash a lot of farm work clothes (Carhart coats, coveralls, etc) and that we were tired of the cheap appliances we had been buying at big box stores and wanted something that would get the job done and last. She agreed and even said the newer residential models have no way to set the water/load size and probably wouldnt get our work clothes clean. She showed us a commercial/heavy duty set. She was incredibly patient with our questions and never made us feel like we were wasting her time or that she was in a hurry to get us out of the store. We made our selection and were finishing up the transaction and she said they would even deliver it to our home, about 70 miles away, for $40! We were shocked at such a low price, as we were prepared to take them home that day but it had begun to rain. We will definitely be going back to Metro for our appliance needs from now on!

If I could leave 0 to make a point as to how disappointed I am with the service I was dealt today... I cannot believe the way I was spoken to and want to speak with someone in higher management about training these guys properly on customer service let alone doing their job correctly. If the owner was wise he would contact me about these regards. Never will I deal with this company again after todays treatment and still cant use one of the 3 appliances I purchased due to a weekend wait to get this matter resolved if Im lucky Monday.Then to top the whole experience off the delivery man charged me $25 for what Im still trying to understand I am so blown away with the customer service just sickened

I bought a French style refrigerator from them. A Fridgedaire model. We were told it had the best ice maker for this design; that was self contained in the upper fridge part. We were told it would fill the ice storage tray up in a couple days. Got it home and it spits out maybe 2 cups of ice in a 24 hour period. Called Metro Appliance. They asked us to turn the Quick Freeze function on to supposedly speed up ice making. We did that no real difference; maybe 2 1/2 cups in 24 hour period. They finally called out a factory repair man.That is when we found out the truth. These French style refrigerators with the a self contained ice maker in the refrigerator are known to be deficient in making ice This is what the FACTORY MAINTENANCE GUY shared with us; he also said putting a new ice maker in the fridge would change nothing, that these ice makers in the fridge are just a poor design and yet theFactory and Dealers like Metro Appliance continue to sell them as if the Ice makers are just fine. The repair man also relayed to us that in the freezer; in the bottom of it, the FACTORY has installed everything needed except the icemaker it self to put another icemaker in the freezer.Thus showing factory and Dealers know that this self contained ice maker in refrigerator is insufficient.If Metro Appliance really wants to make this right for people who spend $2000.00 on a French style refidgerator; they should buy and install an icemaker for us in the freezer AND quit selling people on these types of ice makers installed in refidgerator. I called Metro Appliance back a week ago told what the FACTORY MAINTENANCE GUY told us. They said they wanted contact factory and see what they said. It has been over a week and have not heard from Metro Appliance yet.It would be my hope that Metro would read and take care of it in timely manner. We have been dealing with this for a month now.

Two years ago we purchased a new front loading LG washer and dryer from Metro, and their delivery person made a three point turn in our driveway, pulling into the yard and driving over our sprinkler system. We had the security footage to verify. I called the manager and he wanted my landscape guy to call him before he did the repairs. Seriously?! Like I’d let your people fix my sprinkler system. Long story short Manager was unhappy when I sent him the invoice, but paid anyway.Recently we purchased a new washer because the bearings went out and the parts were no longer available. (Not faulting Metro with the parts no longer being available.) Reluctaly we went to Metro against our better judgement. The delivery person had absolutely no idea what he was doing. While taking out the old washer he gouged our laundry room floor. Ok, stuff happens. When bringing in the new he completely destroyed the floor. The delivery person called and reported to the manager. After the delivery person left, I started the washer to find out HE DID NOT HOOK THE WATER LINES UP! I could have done it myself, but when paying for a service why should I do someone else’s job?! I called the Manager and he came with another service person. They claimed to have fixed the issue. To date our washer still does not work properly and is off balance. I guess I just need to call LG and see what they can do. While the manager was waiting on is service person to fix the issues, he told me to send him the repair invoice for the floor, which I did and they sent a check. Later we found that the dryer vent was crushed and needed to be replaced.All in all, they claim to match the big box competitors prices. Do yourself a favor and just go to the big box store, where you will get a reputable delivery and installation professional without the hassle! I wish we would have!

Metro Applianes and More put in a new dishwasher for us, subsequently, the plumbing had a leak, which ruined my ceiling in the basement.I contacted them, they sent out a contractor, Josh Dickerson (nice guy), and Metro paid for the repairs and fixed the plumbing!#customerforlife!
