Great location, close to I-10 in the Katy Area, my wife loves the barbacoa from here. They give you salsa to go with eat and is extremely delicious. Don’t forget to grab some lemons and limes that are usually on sale like 12 for $1 is that a deal or what! Keep up the great service and products Michoacana meat market in Katy!

Good selection of meat & veggies. The Mexican bread is fresh. Restaurant part is always busy. So theres a bit of a wait but will worth it!

I love the butcher shop here. They are always busy and for good reason. The guys are always helpful. If you arent a Spanish speaker dont be afraid to ask the guys questions; some of the signs are in Spanish only and the pictures dont always help. Oh, and make sure to get twice as many fajitas as you think you need. Youll be glad you did. 😋

I went here for some sweet bread and they were pretty good! One thing though is it was kinda moist and it’s supposed to be dry but other than that its really flavorful!

They sold me brown hamburger meat. I asked why the meat they were putting in my bag was brown and different from the pink meat that they had at the front of the display. I was told it was because the pink meat had just been taken out of the freezer but the brown meat had turned brown because it being taken out of the freezer earlier that day. When I got home my husband refused to cook meat that looked that brown because it was old.

I purchase fajitas last Friday and on Saturday morning when I was going to prepare them the meat was bad and went to talk to someone about replacing the meat or to get my money back and they told me that they could not do neither and I asked for the persons name as well as the name of a manager and she wouldn’t give me the information....DO NOT GET MEAT FROM THAT PLACE.

This is a good meat market. You can find fresh breads that are baked daily. On weekends I recommend their carnitas and barbacoa or ifplanning to grill, their marinated fajitas and chicken are a good option. They have real good deals on their produce. The food from the taqueria is basically what youd find at any local taqueria which usually serves to workers on a lunch break, defenitely not my ideal place to eat but worth the try.

The old lady who is a cashier must be fair to deal with clients. One man passed his card 3 times the line was long as construction workers do not have much time to eat the other box was long the row the lady says the customer did not pass his cards speak to the bank I hope 😠 thats not good. We do not have all the time to wait. Please be fairer

-Bought 4 pounds of Fajita. Half was all fat, the other half was hard as a shoe sole.-buy 4 pounds of fajita. Half was pure fat, and the other half came out hard as the sole of a shoe.

I love this michiocana, its prices are very cheap and its staff is very nice. I always buy the fajitas with my dad and I take palettes home. The restaurant is clean inside and unobtrusive. Excellent food and experience and I will return because I like the restaurant.

The lousy food frozen the often before was delicious now horrible and also now even with the hope that they will return to the traditional kitchen and not try to unify flavors

The food is average, but the customer service from the kitchen is terrible. Specifically from one girl. She treats people like if it was a refugee camp.The food is not bad, but the customer treatment is deplorable. One of the cooks treats the clientele as if you were helpless begging for food.

One of the things that I liked the most about this place was the quality and AMOUNT of food that were served in the tacos, but now it turns out that they took meat from my tacos because they scold them if they pour a lot of them,

In the morning of the 4/27 I passed by some tacos and when I entered I perceived an unpleasant smell, something between dirt, and smelly meat. It could be from the kitchen or from the butcher. The cafe area was filthy as was the back of the fresh water machine. The place definitely needs a thorough cleaning.
