Worst Experience- Never going to buy any item in life time. Once I took their service to fix my desktop. Office Depot automatically renewed service and charged $139 and $108 on my card without even informing me. I checked my online account and there is no auto renewal service. Finally I came to know that Office Depot quietly opened another account (which I don’t have access) and renewal is in that account. In my mind this is fraud and Office Depot running an unethical business. I called customer service and that said another department will contact me for the refund. I did not get any further communication from them and I still did not get refund. Office Depot is going to be a lifetime ban to me.
Excellent customer service! I was in a hurry and needed a few copies made; the staff was very helpful and exceeded all expectations! I will be sure to return to this location soon.

This morning I went there to fax and buy a book of stamps. However the cashier gave me a terrible experience. He was trying to play with me but I was very unpleasant with his play and I lost my words to say anithing. I just laughed without my soul but I dont want to come back to see him again. He should stop playing with customers.

Melissa helped me tonight. I came in right at close and she never made me feel rushed. She took her time to show me how to add the app and get a discount off one of my items. She was awesome. So nice. Ill be back. Never really found a reason to pick one office supply store over another. She gave me a reason to come back.
Had a very bad experience with this store.I went to buy office chair from this store located on Westheimer near 99, person in the store told me the chair that im looking for is not available in the store but they can order it online for me. Since, ordering online from store will get faster delivery so i agreed to order online within the store. There was promotional offer that was going on that if you buy something for $125 or more youll get some free gifts. When i asked to the person who was helping me to order online he said there is no such thing going on, then i showed him the promotional email that i got from office max then the guy said that okay well do it. The chair was delivered on the day it was promised however, it was the same chair which was in display in the store. From the packaging itself anyone can say that it was not a factory packaging. It was a total mess. Delivery guy just left it at the door without even ringing the bell to let us know that its been delivered. Frustrated from this i went back to the store to talk about this issue. The guy who helped me wasnt there and there was this another guy who just told me that I dont know what you are talking about and i cannot help with that.They should have informed me that they are going to deliver the same chair which is in display instead of new one then i would have not regret it. But selling the thing with wrong information and then not accepting it is bad.I would never go back to this shop located at 23610 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77494, and would defiantly not prefer anyone to go there and specially ordering online from store. If you want to order online then its better to order online from home but never from the store.
By far the worst experience ever in a retail establishment, that should tell you something about this particular location. I shopped there Saturday and the store had maybe 15 customers, so not overly busy. It was difficult to find an associate for assistance so I proceeded to the checkout and was going to purchase one item and have them order and ship the others. There were 2 cashiers working and there was 4 people in front of me and 8 people behind me. Observing Both cashiers, neither of them called for any cashier back up assistance. The manager walked to the front did something behind the counter and walked away. To me that is a manager with a big ego thinks he’s above everyone and not jumping in to help. I left the item I was going to purchased and walked out. In Customer Service, you need leaders, leaders who help, leaders who take pride and appreciate their customers. This particular manager has no leadership or customer skills whatsoever.I would Not return or recommend this location.
They got me wanting for about 35 minutes, it was frustratingCan say that they took care of me because of the time spent and didn’t charge me for the cost of what I was paying at the time. But still they need more staff
Went to the OfficeMax computer repair desk with a problem with my laptop. The expert told me it was the charger that was damaged. He sold me a very expensive replacement and told me that it would completely fix everything. IT DIDNT. Yes it was the charger that was the problem but the one he sold me was totally incompatible with my machine. I had to return it. I got a real expert elsewhere to tell me what I really needed and found it on Amazon for less than half the price that OfficeMax charged me for the wrong one.
Had an awful experience with a women in the printing service desk today. Waited 5 minutes to be even acknowledged with a line behind me after she finished with a guest before, so I finally had to speak up to ask about my pickup. She didn’t say anything besides “what’s the last name” and then proceeded to toss the package across the counter towards me and then turn back to what she was doing. I’m in retail so I’m usually more understanding than most, but that was blatantly disrespectful and unnecessary. I have her name but out of courtesy won’t post it but a store rep is more than welcome to reach out for it.

I came in to the store today hoping to find a drive for my laptop. I am not computer savvy at all, but my husband is a work and he gave me instructions on what I could ask for. The sales manager Masroor, gave me a better option. He not only suggested something better but helped me install the program on my laptop. Not every day do you find someone who is aProblem Solver He literally made my day
I ordered business cards online and can’t get thru to the store. I literally press the #2 and I get hung up on. Tried calling again and pressed #3. Same scenario.
Matthew with Tech Services is AWESOME!! I had an iPhone that had been dropped, and the front and back cover had separated at the top of the phone. I have insurance on the phone, so I could have gotten a refurbished replacement for $150. (The phone was only 3 months old, so not my favorite option.) I took it to Simply Mac in La Centerra, the three associates there all looked at it and told me it could not be fixed (didnt even attempt to try) I called Office Max to see if they thought it could be fixed, and spoke to Matthew. He told me hed be happy to take a look at it and check it out. I brought the phone right up there. Matthew fixed the phone for me in 15 minutes!! and it only cost me $15!!! Very happy customer here! During our chat while Matthew was fixing my phone he mentioned, they are trained - never tell a customer no. Simply Mac can learn from a few things from Office Max!
The manager “in training” Matthew was so helpful! Took me right to what I needed, checked me out fast, and was super friendly despite me coming in near closing time. So refreshing to get awesome customer service.
I visited this store on March 18 to exchange an office chair I had purchased at a different location. The employee who helped me was very knowledgeable and took care of the exchange very quickly and efficiently (I failed to get his name but his employee ID is 77903 on the receipt). I requested the new chair to be assembled at the store. He asked if I needed the chair the same day, but I said the same day or following day would be fine. Within about 2 hours, I received a call from a friendly female employee who said my chair was ready to be picked up! I am very satisfied with the service I received and want to compliment the employees who helped me.
Matt in the “Tech Dept” is awesome and has been such a huge help for all my issues with helping me find images of my medical conditions that i had downloaded on a flash drive and i had not been able to find. He was very patient and super quick!! Thanks so much Matt!! I don’t think I’ve ever been inside of office max that much in my life! 😂
Change your hours online if you wont actually be open. Super disappointed to race over here after work for nothing.
I love shopping at Office Max at the end of August because they have so many back to school deals. As a teacher my budget goes really far this time of year. Great example is spiral notebooks college rule 70 pages for $0.25.
Do not often visit office supply retail stores, but had a very great experience at this store. Highly recommend. Staff is very courteous and the school supplies we needed to buy were highly discounted in front of the tax free weekend.
My wife and I had a printer cartridge that we had gotten on line from Office Max and after our business office closed, we were having trouble returning it for a credit. The store Manager whose first name is Tony, was very friendly, and accompanying in helping us resolve the return. Thank you for having a very helpful Manager.
I will never do business with this company. They are the most incompetent individuals I have had the displeasure of working with. It was all teenagers working and not a manager in sight. I assume they were busy preparing to close and decided to get a jump on their nightly paperwork a bit early to rush home.The printer was not initially working and nobody was ambitious enough to leave the post. I guess 3 people at the register with no customers in line is a priority at this location.I was waiting for the print center employee to help, but he was more concerned with attempting to flirt with female customers. I had to service the printer myself because nobody there was capable of assisting a customer. Should a customer really be responsible for getting paper and cleaning out the paper punches from the 3-ring binder tray? If so, dont charge me $80 for a print job that says is costs $18 online.I explained that they messed up the print job because it was supposed to be black and white but printed color and it was supposed to be double sided and printed single. They did not even think twice to ask about the error. I should have demanded a manager on the spot, but I was so upset that I knew better than to have a conversation with them at my frustration level.Thank you for taking my money freely and giving me a really expensive print job I could have done at home for less.

Print shop at this location definitely provides 5 star service, my pdf was lost in upload, online order declined, yet the staff was quick and efficient, I was walking out with my prints in less than 5 minutes 😊
So disappointed with their services! Today, I made a order at 11:00 a.m., and about 2:30 p.m I went to my store to ask about my project. The guy told me that the order Was going to be ready in 1 hour or 2. I needed the order for 3:00 p.m but I didn’t cancel it because I can use in other moment. Guess what? At 11:00 p.m and was still waiting for my order to be ready! Really? They offer 1-2 hours free store pick up, that is why I decided to made the order. Fake advertisement! Worst service ever! I requested a refund.
You can count on them to have everything you need. And a couple ideas you never even thought of. Helpful staff at this store.
Austin always takes excellent care of us with all of our office supply needs. If its not on the shelf, he checks inventory and never hesitates to go and get extras from the back. I had a excellent experience at OfficeMax, I got to bring up Amazon prices on my iPhone and they matched the price. Excellent way to shop and get the online price.
I was immediately greeted with a hello and help! The employee asked what I was looking for and took me right to the items and stayed until he answered all my questions.
Good selection, but outrageous prices compared to Target, Walmart etc.The same product from the same brand will cost you double to 10 times as much
Trey helped us and was very patient with us during our transaction. And the store manager there is awesome and polite and helped me out with a small issue I had.
Im pretty sure the staff here goes out of their way to hide when customers visit the store. Either that or this location is really understaffed. With only one register open every time I have ever been here, the wait to get out of the store is just as time consuming as finding an employee to help you.

I very rarely leave bad reviews and will only do so after three separate experiences have each have had the same results. This office max has, hands down, the worst customer service Ive seen in a long time. The printing area staff completely ignore customers and will finally reply with complete disdain for you as a human being. On three occasions, theyve acted as though youve disrupted their blissfully unaware stupor by requesting that they do the job they are getting paid to do. There are plenty of businesses competing for you as a customer, so dont waste your time with the un-pleasantries of the officemax printing experience.
This location has possibly everything you need when it comes to office supplies/tools. Its clean, nicely laid out, and has a friendly atmosphere to it.
Every time I go in this store it makes me miss my Staples back in Indiana. Their POS system cant see reward dollars even when given the card number. Ridiculous.
