I brought my wifes wedding ring in for repair and received outstanding service. David went above and beyond by replacing the head and a cracked baguette and reworked the settings to lower the risk of future damage to the ring. David provided fast service and fit me in despite a full schedule of existing orders. He took the time to walk me through the changes before and after they were made. Though I was only there for a repair, I could see from the showcase that he has done some incredible custom work. I highly recommend this place. I always feel like they go out of their way to treat everyone fairly and with respect. I have never purchased anything from them other than a watch band. I mostly have them put batteries in watches or resize watch bands. Nevertheless they are gracious and charge me a reasonable amount for everything.

C J David & Co. is an awesome place to do business with. David custom made my wifes wedding ring almost 10 years ago and she still loves it! I just stopped into their shop last week to have him make 2 more pieces of jewelry for her. I am a dentist and as such I appreciate his attention to fine detail. He is an artist and technician. CJ David & Co. I would NOT recommend this company. I took fine jewelry to and fine jewelry store for resizing. I need my rings to be about a quarter size bigger. I was told I would have to add gold to one. When I went to pick them up the one that needed gold added and charged for was smaller by a quarter. When I brought it to their attention they showed me the line of demarcation as proof it was altered. I told them it was altered in the wrong direction. First a fine jewelry store would not have a line of demarcation and second it there was one for adding it would show 2 lines not one. One is proof that it was cut to remove. They tried to give me a quick resizing leaving a brake in my thousand dollar ring before finally doing it right. So bad. Do not go there. I had 2 more rings to adjust and went to Houston Gold Exchange. Why I did not go there first I do not know they are always nice and very professional.

I have been doing business with David for many years. Hes honest and trustworthy. They redesigned somed jewelry for me and it turned out spectacular! I highly recommend David and his team.

I have been to CJ David for new jewelry, jewelry repairs, and a custom piece. Every time I have gone in, I have been treated courteously. Im not sure what happened with the negative reviews because I have never found them rude. Maybe not overly sweet, but never rude. The work has always been top-notch. I recommend them anytime someone needs repair work or custom work.

I have been going to David for over 15 years. He is really very creative and has converted many different rings and pieces of jewelry for me! I have bought a three circle diamond pendant which is stunning and he created a diamond and sapphire ring that I have gotten so many compliments on each time I wear it. He is a very talented jeweler and easy to talk to about your vision. He will even provide you with a mock drawing of his plan for your piece. Definitely give him a try!!!

The owner and employees are kind and helpful. The store is beautiful and filled with the stuff of dreams. They have become like family while helping me redesign jewelry from grandmother, great grandmother and my aunt’s collections. David helped me with appraisals, resetting stones into new settings, repairing and creating new styles out of old jewelry etc. Amoura gave me ideas on how to better use the diamonds, suggested the type of posts we could use and she even made a gorgeous college ring for my daughter at Texas State. We used two diamonds from my mother’s ring and David sold me a fantastic small marquis to go in the center. My daughter was overjoyed at the outcome. It is the prettiest college ring I’ve ever seen. It is thanks to the patience, guidance and talent of Amoura who did the wax molds and let us critique as we went along the design process. What a wonderful experience to work with people who really excel at their craft and love the customers who enjoy it.

The store is beautiful and the associates were nice. I wouldnt recommend them for repairs. I needed a new jump ring on a charm and it cost much more than I anticipated. I would say more than double what I felt the repair was worth. If you have a lot of money, this place is for you.

CJ David is so so wonderful! It was such a pleasure to work with him for my engagement ring. CJ David never overwhelmed us with showing us tons of stones, he was able to determine the size, color, cut from the initial meeting and found us the very best stone for our budget a few weeks later. Before showing us the stone he was thoughtful enough to set it a ring so I could have a feel for what it would look like on my hand. He was even able to make all the changes to my ring while I tried more jewelry! I brought them my beautiful solid gold 18k gold Presidential Rolex to tighten the clasp. When I got it back they replaced the latch system with rose gold and they soldered white gold for the clasp buttons. So they took my 18k solid gold Rolex and made it look like a Jerry rigged, hodge podge of different colored golds. When I complained about it they took my watch back and soldered 18k gold buttons on the clasp but left the entire latch system in Rose Gold. I was in a hurry when I picked it up so I didnt look at it very close. When I noticed what they had done I emailed them several times to ask them why they would put different colored gold on my watch that didnt match it but they never responded to my emails or calls.

Service has been outstanding so far, Ill give a full review upon completion of the custom jewelry being purchased. They have gone above and beyond my expectations thus far, David and his staff are true professionals and straight shooters.

Really felt immediately unwelcome... The ladies there didnt hide their feelings of contempt for me and my husband, which I felt was unwarranted. I called beforehand and brought in a simple repair around Christmas time, and let them know that this wasnt needed before Christmas (since I knew that any jewelry shop would be really busy around this time), but I could not get a time estimate as to when it would be done from the employee. I called a little over a week later, and it hadnt been completed, which was not an issue, but the lady refused to give me even the merest estimate, saying she didnt know when repairs were getting done, or when it was going to happen, and was generally really rude and dismissive. I wasnt satisfied with the repair either, but I wont be going back, just because of the unwelcoming and flat out rude employees. Ill take my future business elsewhere.

The lady who works there is not friendly and provides very little customer service. Their prices are too high and certainly not worth the bad attitude. Looking for another jeweler. Addendum--went back today to pick up my ring, which had been soldered together by CJ David. I was ready to give these folks the benefit of the doubt, but, once again, they confirmed my opinion: the customer service at this place is terrible. And, to make matters worse, the lady who called me to tell me my ring was ready (the same lady who waited on me today) hung up on me before the conversation was even finished. NEVER GOONG BACK.

Horrible service I just called and asked if they do customized jewelry and the lady said no then I asked do you know where in katy she said she is not familiar with Katy... yet she works in katy ? Horrible service and rude employees. Would not recommend even calling for a question .

The ladies are awfully rude and their prices are WAY too high. They didnt really work with me and I never feel welcome when I go in. Id rather go down the street where the service is quick, friendly, and thorough.
