Greedy salesman just lost yall a paying customer. I walked in looking for an anniversary present after shopping online all day and your salesman looked at a sticker and without even checking said there were no discounts and wanted me to pay full price for the necklace. The same piece online lists at almost 35% off. I understand its been a hard year, but its been a hard year for everyone.

Do NOT buy a watch from this location. Most of the watches in the store come with dead batteries. The $500 Tissot watch I bought for my wife’s Christmas gift came with a dead battery. When I took it back to the shop to have it replaced and have links removed so it would fit correctly - the employee told me that their location did not have the required tools to remove extra links nor did they have a tool to replace the battery. They also did not have extra batteries. I should’ve known this when I realized most of the watches in the shop were dead... I mean cmon, you pay these people big money for a luxury item and they offer absolutely no service to ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase. What kind of jeweler doesn’t carry basic tools to perform minor changes or repairs? This shop gives Jared, a typically well respected jeweler a bad name. Save your time and money and just go to the Jared at Memorial City Mall. If you have any of the issues I mentioned above these incompetent’s will just tell you to go to the Memorial City Mall location anyway...that being said I will never spend another dime in this store!

I came in to get a ring repaired my mother had just passed down to me and she had the ring not three years. It started falling apart within the first year but due to illness and scheduling issues it was never brought in for repairs. She has just passed away and I brought it to be repaired by them, only for them to say no and referr me to someone outside their company to fix it, meaning I need to pay someone to repair it... so you DONT repair your own jewelry good to know! Glad I only have this one ring from you, wont be coming back.

I went in to purchase a Pandora charm as a gift for my mother and the customer service was so bad! The ladies that work there were acting as if they were high and mighty telling customers that right there is very expensive -as if certain customers cant afford it. I believe everyone should be treated equally no matter whats your race or demeanor. When I got to check out, they kept me there for 15 mins + while they added all my info to their system... keep in mind I buy these charms all the time at different locations and they have never done this before. Anyhow, I had told the ladies that this charm was a gift. They handed me the bag and I left. Once I got to my car I checked the box and basically they had just threw the charm inside the box (so the charm was just lose rolling inside the box.) I went back and asked the Hispanic lady to fix it since she was the one who handed me the bag and she just told me to wait. After 5 minutes of waiting she said that they didnt have proper boxes for charms! From the moment I walked in to the store the Hispanic lady and the lady with the hair wrap with the flowers tattoo on her hand were so rude. Im never going to this location again!

Worst customer service ever. they will overcharge you and assure you that you wont be paying much, when in reality you do. My watch was not even working the day they packed and gave it to me. they opened my credit card without my consent. Absolutely hating their customer service. Called corporate office and i asked to speak to their manager. Asked them 4 times and they at the end agreed... and transferred me back to the store. They just wont let me talk to their manager. Dont even feel satisfied paying so much for a watch like gucci from here.

Went to Jared vault Katy to look for a graduation present for my niece... i had no idea what to get...Kim the manager asked me if i needed some help. Told her my dilema...she showed me several gift ideas...was very helpful...walked out with beautiful pendent...niece loved it! Thank you kim! Definitely plan on buying from this store again!

Im a young black man and people dont alweays treat me right in jewelry stores. Amy walked right up to me and shook my hand! I didnt even know where to start looking for this ring! She asked me some questions about my gf and how much I wanted to pay every month and the FIRST ring she picked up was PERFECT! I was so nervous walking in there and she made me feel like I belong there. Amy is always gonna be our diamond girl.

Jareds has a fantastic selection and run nice promos from time to time. During Christmas season they ran a buy 3 our more and get 50% off Pandora charms and i was able to purchase a bunch for my wife. A quick note, another store (Monicas jewelry) was running the same promotion but had pushy salesmen, a limited selection, no return policy, and down talked Jared store for only having old stuff (which was not true). They had exactly the same stuff i saw at Monicas and did not limit which charms qualified for the promotion. The Jared saleperson was super friendly and helpful.I do feel compelled to say that my wife went it to do a return on a defective charm (one of her gift charms did not screw in) and the sales people that time although trying to help seemed to make a mess of the simple exchange. He had a language barrier and though we wanted to exchange a defective $60 charm for a $29 charm when we really wanted to exchange the defective charm for a replacement and purchase another charm. It was a slightly uncomfortable experience.

My fiancé had purchased her wedding band here. She was assured the necessary modifications would be made with no problems. A week later she goes to pick it up and it doesnt fit her engagement ring. We bought that one because the sales woman said it would fit. She said we would have to take it to the repair store, which is located in one of the other Jared stores (memorial city). We went there and were helped and shown by the repair people what would need to be done, which was covered by the service plan. Even then, they said it would not be a perfect fit. Through all of this, I got the sense the sales woman at the Katy store was not thorough or knowledgeable about what she was saying, just saying what it would take to make a sale. I would recommend the store at Memorial City as an alternative or find a local jeweler instead of a chain.

I first visited this location in April 2016 with my wife. My wife and I are both in the military. We were on leave visiting my family in Texas. I recently bought my wife an engagement ring from Jareds and updating her insurance had been very difficult, with both of us living overseas. One of the employees, Kimberlie Welch was so kind when we stopped by the store. She has been a lifesaver for updating the insurance for the ring while I have been on back to back deployments. She has been super helpful and has made it her priority to help with any issues while I have been deployed. I cant wait to visit this location again in June. Thank you Jareds for being like family to my wife and I.
