The good: I mostly come to this Kroger because it’s close to my house. The cashiers are nice and courteous and always helpful. They have great deals on sparkling water, and paper products. Prescriptions are filled fast here.The not so good: The healthy food choices for organic fruits and meats are limited. The options for gluten free or dairy free are limited also. Lots of options if you drink and eat large amounts of alcohol, chips, soda and ice cream.The weird: There’s a guy that sits in the Kroger parking lot starting around 9pm playing loud music in his car and chain smoking. He throws his cigarette butts out on the ground next to his car. I’m not sure who cleans them up. At first this guy weirded me out….now I’ve come to expect him to be there as I think he’s an employee waiting for his shift to start. I really can’t help but think he probably deters shoppers from the store.

This supermarket is very close to Costco, a 2 mile drive. I like this supermarket because it provides purified water in bulk. You can come to fetch water. It costs only 2.9 cents per gallon and $1.45 per 5 gallon bucket. . In addition, there is a pharmacy in the supermarket and a Starbucks coffee shop, which is very convenient. All kinds of food, daily necessities, and seafood.

Love this supermarket, the variety is amazing, good bakery, fresh produce and helpful staff.

William came out and collected my cart and my brother had dropped salsa. He was so kind to clean it up and allowed my brother to go back inside and get another one. It is employees like him that make me a loyal customer. Thank you so much for being so nice and making my day better. I hope you have a wonderful day William! The store is always so clean and I find everything I want (and more haha).

I really like this Kroger. I live nearbly and use it several times a week; it truly feels like a neighbourhood store. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I love the bag packers but I wish they would use less plastic bags and encourage customers to use their own bags. I always find the food fresh and of great quality,

The pharmacy is understaffed, unorganized, and inconsistent. We had to make three trips there to get the flu shot. First, the website said you dont have to make an appointment. But when we showed up, the technician asked us to scan a QR quote and go online to fill out forms and make an appointment. Second, we showed up at the appointment time, the pharmacy was not open on time. After waiting 10 minutes for the pharmacy to open, the manager told us that his technician was not there, and so we should wait or come back in 15 minutes. Once we came back after 15 minutes, we had to wait for another 45 minutes to get our shots because the pharmacy was understaffed. The hygiene was questionable. Even after the pharmacist put his gloves on to get ready to give us our shots, he had to scan the medicines for other customers, thus touching other unclean surface including the cash register, which is more worrisome during the pandemic. Needless to say, this whole experience was less than desirable.

Good neighborly store

I do not recommend doing Clicklist at this location. The last several times..my order was not ready on time. This didnt just happen once...it was several times. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. NEVER AGAIN...

I would not do there Kroger pickup I drove at least 45 minutes to get here because they had the slot open between 2 and 3 I got here a little early and called them they said it wouldn’t be ready till 3 they are behind on orders no one has been here for an hour now and I still have not yet got my order my kids (2 small kids) are ready to go at this point they have load 2 other cars that came way after me I have called they have said it will be out in 10mins so call again and they said it’s on it’s way let’s just say this Kroger’s shouldn’t even give the Option to do pick up

I was very disappointed with my pickup but store personnel called and made it all good. I appreciate that they actually care about customers

Kroger located at The Grand Parkway @ Highland Knolls has excellent products and prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is very professional and fast. Highly recommend. 5 Stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Perfect location on 99 but hard to drive in or out. The road intersection has heavy traffic with cars creating a barrier around this shopping area. Other 99 intersections at Westheimer, Cinco ranch have been improved to let free traffic flow. This Kroger isnt reachable until county improves the intersection

This Kroger has some of the nicest and friendliest employees. They greet you with Good Morning and tell you to have a great day. This may sound like such a small thing, but great Customer Service has unfortunately become rare. I have a Kroger w/in walking distance, and I drive to this one.

Constant verbal arguments between Deli employees. Pharmacy is routinely out of medication that has to be ordered to arrive several days later, I have opted to use a competing pharmacy.. When asked if the flu shot was available the reply was Go Online.

Management here is poor. He is more interested in profitability than customer service!I shop late in the evenings when traffic and crowds are smaller. They are supposedly open until midnight, but at 10 pm, the lights in the coolers turned off, janitors were sweeping, and there was only one absentee (wandering) checker at the DIY lane. I had $100 worth of groceries and had to wait on him to come back when I had too many items to keep on the scale. Guess I should have just kept walking....

Its always picked up and clean looking. But in not sure when the other commenter shopes because they do have old vegetables they are molding on the shelf or out of date. But the workers are nice. Must keep an eye on the dates of vegetables and dairy ex yogurt.

The location is very convenient being right off Grand Parkway. There are lots of fresh selections in the produce and bakery. Their rewards program is awesome -- Look out for 4x fuel points days and buy gift cards so you can save up to $1/gal of gas!

Unlike the other Kroger, I love this one I come here literally 3x a week for my groceries. Staff is nice and prices is awesome. I come here for my gas too I love this Kroger.

Polite and quick service by cashier

This Kroger isn’t the closest Kroger to my home, but it’s my preferred store. That said, I’d quit driving that far since there’s a Kroger across the street from me, but it’s just not the same. Today I was over near my favorite Kroger so I decided to go ahead and do my weekly shopping there. And I was quickly reminded why I love this store. The employees are so friendly that they make it so worth the drive! Claude in particular struck up a pleasant conversation with me, and turned an otherwise not so great evening into a much better one! I left there smiling and wishing I’d told Claude how his kindness had truly changed my evening - all while he stocked marshmallows and told me about Octoberfest! Thank you Kroger, and more importantly, please thank Claude for me!

I thought this place sold food, so I came in hungry one day and bought whatever was on the shelf. Picked up a Pool noodle, ate it, and to my surprise it actually wasnt food and tasted horrible

The staff are super duper at this location!! My company has been going here for 20+ years for our Happy Hour groceries and they treat us so nicely and they are so very helpful. I have never had a bad experience and I always look forward to shopping there (every Thursday afternoon). I love this store!!!

Ive had a few bad experiences at this store. Its the young clerks there who act like 10 year olds. A lot of them have smart mouths and act like no good punks but thats not the main reason Im going out of my way to post this review. Ive never posted a review on anything before but feel a need to do so about this episode I had there. Ive been shopping here for about 5 years since my mom moved close by and Ive had to do most of the shopping for her for the last 2 years due to her age and strength. Recently she was diagnosed with cancer. She only has about 2 weeks to live. On Christmas Eve my day started off with extremely bad experiences revolving the hospice company we chose weeks ago to help with my mom’s needs. This was absolutely one of the worse days in my life. Towards the evening late I knew I needed to go to the grocery and pick up some comfort and food items for my mom. I called the store and there was a recorded message that indicated that they would be open Christmas Eve till 9 PM. When I arrived at the store at 8:45 the entrance on the south end was closed but I saw the north entrance had people all around it so I walked to that entrance. There was a woman standing at the entrance with a bull-horn in her hand of all thing telling everyone that the store was closed and they werent letting anyone in. I told her that I had called and the store phone message said they were open till 9 PM but it didnt matter to her. She wouldnt let me or anyone else inside. I went down the street to Randalls and they were closed already. I didnt try to go anywhere else though because everything else was to far by then and I had to get back home. I was pretty upset by this as this was the icing on the cake for my Christmas Eve. It was the worst ever in my life. If hell freezes over and this was the only grocery store remaining open I would NEVER set foot in there again. Theyre more worried about their employees getting off a few minutes earlier than living up to their obligations to their customers. Im sure that now youll read some idiotic reply from them doing what everyone does these days, give you an excuse for their actions rather than an apology when theyre wrong.

First off, the lady trying to cram sushi down your throat as you walk in the door. I have told her a million times in Mandarin I dont eat that crap. I dont care if she only speaks English. Second, they are always out of stock on the gluten, peanut free, no lactate, fat free chocolate low fat dairy milk. Third, nobody that visits this store knows how to park. Fourth, Jack in the box does not honor Kroger coupons for frozen chicken nuggets.

This Kroger is always clean. Very nice employees that will try to help you find what you need. We ask often too.

Placement of things is kind of wild. Some organic milk on one side of store then different ones on the other side...then the poor guy thought all the milk was in one spot just like you would think.

Average. Some staff are very friendly, others are not.I live close by and have been going there for over 3 years now. Some products are repeatedly left on shelves after expriration dates (baby yogurts for instance). Quickly runs out of products when theres a promotion.Only 3 kids friendly card in the store. A joke. It made me start going to other grocery stores even if further away.

Went there to pick up a sale item and couldnt find it. Carmmelita and Andrew were very helpful and got back home to enjoy the evening.

The continued substandard serVice provided at this store has forced me to shop a HEB from now on.

Check expiration dates on all dairy products. I have repeatedly found several items that were expired. One instance I found 8 expired packages of cottage cheese. Every time I visit I take the expired items to customer service so that they are aware, but it continues to occur.

Beware the bagger, she will give your grocery to her friend if your are lucky the customer before you is her friend

Whats not to like about Kroger? It has a good selection at fair prices and they have friendly faces and a starbucks!Kroger has most of the things that I would need for my kitchen. I know thats not really a revelation, but if I didnt have this Kroger here, I would be stuck going to HEB farther way or getting groceries at Target or Walmart.I appreciate you Kroger.

I bought yogurts from this store today (11/30/2019) and it turns out that the product has expired on Oct/29,2019. Bring the yogurts back to the store but they refuse to replace it since I don’t have the original receipt with me. Lesson learned, this store is selling expired product. Check expiration date before you take it!

Worst experience ever 230pm on a Saturday & only 1 check out open. REALLY?staff does not care about customer service! HAD ONLY 1 register open, 3 clerks in floral chatting, 2 at cust service & 3 looking for non existing carts on parking lot while the single open check out was halfway to the back of the store & the cashier in it was on the phone for at least 20 minutes with same customer being checked out.I actually asked floral & customer service people if they could ck people out or open more lines & they actually said no & walked away!I left a cart full of groceries and walked out! Never again!!

I shop here weekly and overall like this this Kroger. The store is clean and orderly and the staff are mostly helpful and friendly. Some produce I buy turns out not to be so fresh sometimes. They restock throughout the day which is good but the restock boxes always seem to be in the way which is annoying. The real problem that I have there is I have to check my receipt before leaving the store. Sometimes the cashier wont ring something up right or the scanner doesnt pick up the advertised price. I have gone to the customer service desk several times to get a refund and have always gotten one without hassel.

Been visiting this location for almost a year now. For their bakery, produce and flowers. I always had a amazing customer service experiences up until this past mothers day. I walked straight to the flowers section and asked this girl (Kelli), behind the register, which flowers can I use to make a bouquet out of. She told me that they didnt have that many left anyway because I went pretty late to get the flowers. So I was told by her to pick and choose any flower and the prices would vary. I did exactly that but when I picked out the flowers and gave them to someone else behind the register, there was another lady named Christine. She saw the flowers and asked me where I got them from. I told her they were randomly picked. She flipped and started yelling at me and telling that I cannot pick from different arrangements. So I told her that Kelli told me it was okay to do so and she still kept going on and on just getting angrier that I did that. To get the situation under control, Judith stepped in and apologized for her coworker and told me not to worry about it since a lot of people had done the same thing. I still apologized to Christine and Judith both because I thought it was my fault. It actually was Kellis fault for giving me wrong information and Christine was extremely rude. She shouldnt have treated me in such a way without knowing all the information. If she worked where I work, shed be fired in a heartbeat. This location just lost a loyal customer. I only gave two stars because of Christine. Otherwise, I loved this location.

This is an older version of Kroger. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles you get in the newer Krogers. The deli service is exceptionally slow.

I ordered flowers from this loction 2 weeks ago and had ordered total of 80+ flowers the day come and my mom gets there to get m flowers and they are all brown. i called and asked to talk to a manager and she is out and the lady that answered the phone has an attitude. just a reminder that i am the cotemer and you are to one with the job and if i dont get a call back from a manager by monday it will not be a good day for kroger staff. NEVER AGAIN!! stay away.

Poor customer service. Me and my wife always do our grocery in this place and I never had any kind of problem. My wife bought a can of beans but she picked up a wrong one with same price. I went there to change it but the customer service was close ! I walked over there and they gave me fake smile like what you want and I told an old lady with gray hair and glasses that what I want to do. She picked up the can, hit it very hard on the counter and she said : here, you can go.First : why the customer service is close ?2nd : I have a business and I know inventory is important, its so easy for me to change and leave. I just want to do a favor because I didnt want mess up your inventory.3rd : if you have any kind of problem with your employees or system or what ever, it is not my fault.I guess you need to change your job.

I dont recommend going after 5pm. Thats when Ive found the employees to be the laziest plus the customer service closes. The one time I tried returning something after 7pm the employees stood around talking amongst themselves as I waited for anyone to help me then I was told customer service was closed but the self checkout employee could help me and he told me next time I should wait till the customer service was open to make my return. Tonight (6:30pm) after I checked out and was leaving I had to say excuse me to get the group of 6 employees standing around talking and holding a cigarette to move so I could leave. No one apologized.
