Worst Customer Service!!!! Be Aware if you rent a U-Haul from this location, you will receive ZERO customer service and employees/management with poor communication skills.I had reserved a U-Haul online. Upon arrival, one of the workers was hauling boxes out, I kindly held the door open for her. I didnt receive a thank you, or welcome from her. I then proceeded to the counter and handed my ID to pick up my rental. I asked if I could extend my reservation. Without even looking up my reservation, I was told absolutely not! I was confused because I have done this before. I then asked what would happen if I brought back the U-Haul a day late? I was then handed back my ID and was told that they are no longer able to rent to me and are cancelling my reservations. I was then told that my account would have a hold on it for a month and I would not be able to rent from U-Haul for that time period. I was extremely confused as to what was going on. I asked multiple times why was my reservation was cancelled? Finally, one employee answered saying I stated I wasnt going to return my rental. That is not what I said, I simply asked what would happen if I returned it a day late and she then proceeded to cancel my reservations without any explanation. I was beyond frustrated as I couldnt have a professional conversation with her and to explain my situation or problem solve to help both parties. I simply just wanted to know my options for extending my rental and instead you lost a customer. I then called U-Haul customer service and was told the complete opposite of what happened at your location. Extremely poor customer service!!! Never again!!
Great service from the young lady employee! She went above and beyond to make sure that I had the adequate vehicle for more than enough time for a short move that was needed last minute. Im very thankful for a fully functioning vehicle for my moving needs and easy online return. Thanks U-haul and I recommend this company and this location particularly. Seems like a best kept secret!
The 1 gentleman that i always see there is very helpful and courteous with my problems. They also have carts which is good. Every time i go it doesnt fail that one if not both security boxes where I input my code doesnt work and I have to take time out to go and get my code reset. I have had over 10 codes in less than a year. Also when you use the elevator make sure not to over stack it because there is a major lip causing you to have to lift the cart to be able to roll it onto the elevator not at all good for a storage facility.
Fantastic place whatever the rental maybe U-Haul has it and they will do everything they can to take care of your rental or storage needs.

Completely unprofessional! We were driving into the lot with the largest U-Haul you can get, when the lady driving accidentally hit one of the yellow barriers. Every employee at U-Haul came outside screaming at her, yelling at her to stop, as if she wasn’t startled enough already. As if the situation wasn’t bad already, the entire staff had to come outside to make it worse. I would never rent from this U-Haul again!!

This Uhaul is the most helpful one Ive ever been to! Deanna is the best and always seems available to her employees. We came in with an issue and even though the manager was off of work she answered when her employees needed her! And they were also very helpful and nice. Ill never go to another Uhaul again if I need one in this town. Ive used them three times so far!

The people that run the place Deanna the manager NEVER answers her phone & NEVER returns phone calls. (I think she lives above the U-Haul Office) A friend of mine who had a storage there was told that it would cost her $20.00 to take the elevator if she wanted to put her stuff on the 2nd floor (every time she needed to use it). I threatened to call the police because my friends things were removed from her storage that she was told she would be charged for if she didnt remove them herself. The guy that works there sent the manager a text telling her what Id said about the police. And no kidding, she came down from the upstairs in Pajama pants & a wrinkled pink uniform shirt. Im completely disgusted by this woman & the way she does business. I will tell EVERYONE who will listen to NEVER DO BUSINESS with these people.

One of the faster more reliable U-Hauls in the city they seem to always have vehicles and service is quick and the checkout is quick when you bring back a U-Haul and that is always a added plus

Horrible customer service couldn’t even wait one minute past closing to process payment and give us keys... after we had already been there and the guy didn’t even mention them closing soon when we had an issue with our payment... a rep called us 5 minutes after we left to tell us they closed at 7 and then even told us they wouldn’t wait on the cardholder (my mom) who was also on the way, and my mom got there with a different card one minute after they closed and they told them they had to do it online and the online people took over 20 minutes to answer!! Moving is hard enough without rude and lazy workers who clearly don’t know the definition of customer service! I am appalled at this entire process. The online reservation made it seem easy, but there’s no directions when you get onsite and no one to help you! We stood around waiting to be greeted for five minutes the first time but they couldn’t wait one minute for us! Corporate needs to do something about this stores total lack of customer service!
The worst business experience of my life if any place! I reserved a truck online 2 wks in advance. When I arrived Deanna, the manager, immediately wanted to know why I needed that size truck for 2 days. That she had other people that needed a truck and she could rent the other day for a higher price. Her tone was hateful. I said they should have reserved it in advance and that I would be packing as my sons moved the big stuff. She exclaimed loudly, you havent packed! After several rounds of trying to persuade me to bring the truck back in 1 day I said sternly, I need it for 2 thats why I rented it for 2. Her reply, well we wont rent another to you for 2 days. We finish and she says the check out will go to my phone, it doesnt, she tries again and then tries my sons, and then tries her phone. It doesnt so she prints the paperwork. I go to truck and it wont start. I try 3 times and it sounds like starter bad. I go back in. She gives me another truck and tells another lady, Modonna, to do the paperwork. She goes outside and after fooling with truck tells my son she got it started and yeah she didnt think he looked too smart! She comes back inside and says its not been a good day, I said and your day didnt start with you. She looks at me in utter confusion and says I just asked a question. I left.I rented a small truck because the space between my front door and street was short and it was forecasted stormy rain so I wanted to get as close as possible. And the place I was going had right turns and I have much experience with uhaul trucks in tight spaces. I get short trucks for those. When i returned the truck in 2 days, she said the 1st truck had a bad starter. If I had taken it I would have been on the side of the road most of the time! Never again with her! Go to uhaul in laplace. Realllllly nice! Thats where I got the next truck two weeks later to finish moving!
Inside the shop always smells like years of cigarette smoke.. Meaning any boxes that you buy and the contents that you put in them will also smell like smoke. I went to the U-Haul shop down the street to remedy this.
Unfortunately a confirmed reservation at a U-Haul location only means that they will try to find you what you reserved within 10 miles or so but there is no guarantee that they will actually have what you reserve. Interestingly, there is also no guarantee that the location where you are supposed to return it will actually take it, but may send you to another location miles away to return it where you may face the same problem. Unfortunately, if you are not prepared, this can make for a difficult couple of days.

I rented a Uhaul here last month and the truck had serious road issues. I called the location to let them no I was stuck on thw interstate and needed help. The poor unsatisfying customer service, lack of empathy and outright unprofessionalism was the beginning of my nightmare. The mileage on the truck was inaccurate from what the noted on my check sheet. I waited at least over an hr for raod side assistance to get the truck to a save location to check it out (more time wasted). I had usuage of the truck approximately 30 mins parked. I bring the vehicle back in and was advised she was checking the mileage and would email me the corrected mileage and adjustments. I received a coward, deceitful email from management saying I damaged the vehicle 2100.00. They started using the same authorization code to withdraw money out of my account after I disputed those damages. No one called to take a statement and it is now July 2 mos later. An adjuster never inspected the damages to see if they were done by an object depending on the area of damage. Nothing. Do not rent there. I used Uhaul 15yrs not one damage ever. This location has employees that are intoxicated on the job, apparent drug usage. Do Not, I repeat, Do Not go here.

First and foremost as an owner never compare customers BC they happen to know one another. I reserved a van and made sure I would be able to extend it if needed which indeed I did thanks Dominick but was told that if it was over a week the charges are different and it was what I should of just did originally trying to save an lost well for now Im yet to face her the owner yet praying about it. I called and extend after my original days were up and they said it be fine but the boss apparently didnt train or inform the employees that the van was booked for another person and she had to pay extra yada well im coming to get my $ BC my online quote states a much lower price then what she charged me and I need the difference back. Also take me off the uhaul ban list. I will retrieve my items in the storage unit with no problems I hope she can learn from this so her company can grow and represent uhaul in a positive wayNow as far as Tracy and JJ and who ever else i happen to know not my problem praying for them Also
The manager was rude when trying to return the uhaul. He was screaming that we did not have to park where there was a sign return equipment. After which he continued to be rude after going on the building. This man is the definition of any the disgusting and rotted than any thing Ive seen my life. The only person who was kind was a staff personal who was kind during rental. I do no recommend this uhaul center
