Sandra was an absolute saint with astounding customer service and work ethic by helping my husband and I with our Sim card activation issues. If it wasnt for Sandra I would have canceled our order and moved to another service. The perseverance and dedication of your employees was seen store wide as others were helpful as well. Busy store! We were so tired after a long work week and it was just a positive environment to be in.Thank you!
Have been trying to get refund for a phone my husband decided not to buy. Have made numerous trips to store, talked directly with Verizon while with store person. Its been almost 4 months and still no refund. The people at this location are pretty useless.Update:. Sent email where they told me to with contact information, and still no response.
Manny helped me out!! I had just bought an iPhone a week previously and it stopped working. Long story short he worked with me for an hour and had great communication and patience. We got it all figured out. Thank you for your help!
Is excellent I like. All people is really good. And excellent service.
You show up and there is 1 guy who only greets you and takes your name. Then you wait till either the only worker is done or until another employee shows up. The group 2 ahead of me was a mother and 5 kids. The kids ran all over and were playing with all the tablets I was wanting to look at. It was kind of just a s**t show.Once I was helped they couldnt offer me the sane deal as Go Wireless. After an hour plus I went back to Go Wireless and ordered new equipment.
Manny, the Verizon rep at local Verizon outlet solved problem of phones not callable or capable of calling. Super job. This was all due to spectrum removing sim cards to activate on their system, then not completing switchover. This was all due to spectrum unusual business practices of requiring full credit checks on customer frozen credit reports. This customer has unblemished credit history for 30 plus years with spectrum.
They used to have excellent customer service but I guess theyre so big that the customer doesnt matter. Go to AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular. Verizon just dont care to satisfy the needs of customers anymore. Never felt more like just a number in my life than dealing with them today! Would give zero stars but not allowed.
Useless, I’ve been trying to pay off my devices for the past two days and every time I mention it the call gets “disconnected” then I go to this store they tell me I have to do it on the app when I tell them it’s not letting me they tell me I have to be a manager on the account. I’ve had this account for 5 years on my own then they say they cant do anything or don’t have time for me. Useless to even have them there just like the useless people on the phone.
The personnel at this store are a cut above. They more than make up for the shortcomings of the online sales team.
Got my phone, fast, great customer service. Ahhh, forgot my service techs name!! He was great.
Things have changed due to Covid.....1 person per associate allowed in the store and they did not install the screen saver on my new phone or put it its its protective case.....but, I can figure those things out for myself. Other than those things mentioned, my visit was enjoyable and Jacob was very helpful.
I wish i would have checked the reviews before going in.I went in to cancel a line from a joint plan and was handed a number to call customer service because due to covid restrictions they havent got their permission back? That doesnt even make sense, I understand its not the employee fault, but VERIZON, you want instore sales and everything else to go thru customer service but as a company Verizon really inconveniences the customer.
Long wait but helpful service
I had a negative experience with the person who greets and checks you in. The CSR was very friendly and helpful.
The people here are nice and friendly. Didnt feel pressured or rushed. They answered all my questions and concerns.
Very Helpful! They took my hacked and plundered cellphone and did a comprehensive resurrection. Thanks techno people!
My wife and I tried to go buy phones today. They would not allow us both in the store to buy phones. We were told 1 at a time. Even with Covid rules, were allowed 50% capacity which apparently that means 1 person at a time to Verizon. This is a response to Verizon response:1. Thanks for caring about my health, my spouses health, employees health and everyone elses during this PLANDEMIC.2. As for guidance from CDC, WHO, and local health departments; could you show documentation where their guidance says no wife and husband are allowed in the store at the same time. I understand social distancing and face masks, my wife and I were willing to wait for two people to leave the store so we could go in although there were no customers in your store at the time.
I came in today to get a new plan. There was an elderly husband and his wife waiting in line. The manager only allowed the husband in and made the elderly woman wait alone outside in 90 degree weather due to “COVID regulations” even tho the store had only one other customer inside- me. I asked if they can let her in, and they said no. I was disappointed to see them treat our elderly this way. However, I gave an extra star because of my care with Manny.
Manny helped with switching old to new phone. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Normally going into a store is like going to the dmv or dentist. Not this time. Thanks again for the help Manny!
They help me as much as they could I was satisfied with the way I was treated I just feel sorry for those folks having to deal with so many unhappy customers
Alex was hella informative! Super easy to work with! Made it easy to get exactly what I needed.
Not sure why this store is still open. Need to close a line? Need to open a line? Need to make changes to your plan? The answer is always the same, call the customer service number on the Verizon website. Might as well save the overhead costs and shut this store down, they wont even let you in the door.
Pretty much all of the people I worked with were very kind. Although I don’t really like the decisions that Verizon has made as a whole during Covid I feel like the employees take great pride in their work and truly want to serve customers well.
I have a really good service
Jordan has been beyond excellent. I came in after having issues activating through Customer Care, and he spent hours with me not only fixing the issue, but getting me set up with everything that I had wanted and needed. When I came back to him a few days later to trade in devices he got me in and out very quickly and made sure I got the promotional credits I was promised. There isnt anyone that I would recommend over him. For all your Verizon needs or if youre looking for a great deal on switching, definitely come to this location and ask for Jordan.
Today Ricardo Silverio was really kind and helped me he did an amazing job!
10/10 would recommend they treat everyone with respect. 😁
The storage self look nice, Employee was nice, But cannot give me the promotion when I preorder the brand new phone even those they said I would within 14 days 🤬Thanks for the response but that does not help my Verizon bill at all great customer service NOT....!!!! Be aware of bait & switch
Marcos was fantastic, helped me with my phone. Deserves mega kudos.
Dont waste your time! You might as well do whatever you need to do online they are Zero help and poorly managed.
Wasn’t sure we were going to stay with Verizon when we walked in, but after the great service from Savannah, I’m glad we did. Some how she managed to make upgrading phones and plans an enjoyable experience. The way she interacted with our kids (getting their first phones), was amazing. Would highly recommend!
I went into the Verizon Store on Columbia Boulevard to buy a case for my new phone. I explained to the store associate that I didnt want to activate the phone until I had a good case for it. They didnt have very many cases that fit my phone and the ones they did have were pretty expensive. I decided I wanted to try a couple of them on my phone to see how they looked. However, when I was putting the case on the phone she got impatient with me and grabbed the case to do it herself. I can understand if it would have been a difficult case to put on and it took me a while that somebody might get impatient but that wasnt the case. Also, I was the only customer in the store and there were several associates, so she had plenty of time. In her haste to get the case on apparently she touched the button on the side and turned it on. I told her I thought it said something on the screen about deactivating my old phone and I thought that she had accidentally deactivated it. She just said, Oh, Im sure its fine. You can always check later. Sure enough she had deactivated my old phone and of course not activated my new one. I ended up leaving the Verizon store on Columbia Boulevard needing more help then when I walked in.
Store doesnt always have the accessories that that one might need. The staff is very knowledgeable and can almost always find a way to work with a deal to fit a persons needs.
The store personnel was amazing, they greatly reduced my stress that the online verizon people created
Went in to update phone plan changes, Jacob was great. Someone who understands the value and meaning of customer service. Any other TC Verizon store, if you are not buying, they have no interest in you. The mall store, managed by J, is great & I highly recommend them for their service.
Great place to get anything you need for a cellular phone or a new phone or tablet. They really go the extra mile to help you out. Picked up a new tablet today and the guy that has taken me care of me for years, V, as always, did an absolutely fantastic job. Got me in and out of there in about 20 minutes and I was on with my day. The manager here really cares about the customers and making sure that you get exactly what you want. This is the only cellular shop that I would recommend in the Tri-Cities. You might end up paying a little bit more but trust me its worth it.
I’m so disappointed by the customer service at this Verizon location. The only employee in there who actually cares is Emanuel. When my wife and I went in today to look for cases for our new phones (iPhone 11, 11Pro) we JUST purchased from this very Verizon store, the first employee was leaning against the display at the door and pointed us towards cases but had no interest in actually helping us or selling. My wife found a case she wanted and I had to walk back over to ask the employees for help getting one because they keep them all in back stock. As I walked up to ask for help the employees were visibly annoyed that I had interrupted their conversation (god forbid they actually help customers rather than leaning against displays and talking)The female employee walked over with us so I could point out which case we wanted. They didn’t have it in stock but said they could order. We said no but thank you if it needed to be ordered we could do that ourselves. The employee then rolled her eyes at my wife as we were walking away. In the parking lot I turned and looked back as my wife told me what had happened and another employee had joined as they were all standing there staring at us.This is not the only bad experience I’ve had at this store, this is one of many and I’m tired of being treated so poorly. To the management, I suggest you either retrain or restaff.
I ported an LG G7 Thin Q from Sprint to Verizon. Have some errors with the activation. They first tried to tell me my phone isnt supported. They sold it last year! It is listed under support on their site. May be as simple as waiting for all functions to activate but dont make stuff up.
The people are great there. Its the only corporate store we have and you can tell. Its always better to go to this store over the authorized dealers. Highly recommend
First let me give praise where praise is due. Here are the things I liked. The store was very clean and well-organized. The staff was very professional and engaged me immediately since they were not too busy. Overall it was only about 15-20 minutes total and I was out the door with my new phone in hand. All of those things would have earned a 5 star rating from me, had it not been for the next part. Here are the things I didnt like. Let me first mention that my entire family is on Verizon, 7 phones and a tablet, with our monthly bill around $500 per month. Considering that we have been customers of this magnitude for more than 10 years, I expected a little more flexibility with the following issues. FIRST they tried to high pressure sell me on the optional accessory pack, which was glass front cover my choice of back covers and an extra charger for $150; all of which I bought an hour later we rarely on Amazon for less then $80 - arriving in 2 days. But they were resistant to letting me choose not to pay the extra 150 ( even if I wanted them to add it to my bill they wouldnt do it had to be paid in store ) .. Next I was required to pay the $30 activation fee which also seems ridiculous considering how much I pay monthly. Which also had to be paid in store on the spot. Additionally I was required to pay taxes on the purchase on the spot in store again they were unwilling to put it on my bill. Ive never missed a payment or even been late it still I ended up having to pay 150 cash to walk out the door with my phone.. I guess paying 500 a month doesnt earn you any kudos so just an average Joe to them and treated as such. If somebody paid me $150 per month I would address them on a first-name basis. But I digress. Those things I found a irritating and took away a couple Stars from my purchasing experience. Although Im happy with the service Verizon provides, I would not recommend them for the buying experience.. they left me feeling like they robbed me and put a damper on my day which was already going badly since I had to be there to buy a new phone.. I dont expect this review will help anyone but I hope it does. Thanks for reading and have a great day.
They have never tried to cheat me here. Pretty decent as far as phone retailers go.
Don’t buy here!!! Can’t get any service plus the employees walk around in circles like they have no idea what’s going on let alone realize they are in the field of customer service! I would recommend a service provider who not only tried to sell you a product but actually provides service after the sale!!!!
Good customer support. Prepaid service is not very good though. Metro PCs has better prepaid service ime
The customer service was outstanding. They had answers to just about every question. As a long time At&t customer, we will see how they are years down the road. So far the cell service has been great too.
I got what I needed accomplished. The other people that helped me there were super friendly and awesome. The main guy that was helping me, for some reason really did not seem like he wanted to help me. I think its because I wasnt really planning to buy anything, but just needed help with my phone for something.
Terrible service wasn’t allowed to walk inside with more than one person wasn’t able to handle any of the phones for a foolish fear of Covid there were six employees and only two customers
Made quick work of swapping service.
This place is becoming more and more like a kiosk where they cant help you if you have a problem, but are willing to sell you the moon and the stars. Its very frustrating and wreaks poor customer service. I prefer to go in and speak to someone face to face if Im having an issue or want to cancel a line, but instead Im referred to a phone number. I dont understand how they can sell you items, add lines, but not cancel a line? And the wait time to talk to someone is ridiculous. My last experience was very frustrating. When we were greeted and I checked in, I explained the issue with the guy, at that time he could have said we cannot cancel a line here. You have to call a number, but instead, he had us wait for 20 minutes to speak with someone else. for nothing.
Excruciatingly long wait times when Ive happened to go in but great customer service.
Nothing but dishonest sales staff here. Received dishonest info multiple times about replacing phone as well as dishonest info about total costs of buying new phone. Sprint coverage has improved greatly and their plans cost less, go with Sprint if you want a better deal.
It was time to replace everyones phone so off to Verizon we went wills wouldnt make phone calls tysann couldnt hang up on anybody will had a cracked screen and charitys would die at 50% battery so everybody got a new phone but grandma. I hate changing phones until this one dies I am not getting a new one
Avoid Ricardo. He didnt even pretend to care when I explained how I had been yanked around for 2 weeks, then refused to even look at a phone that was severely overheating (burn marks on the display) even though it was still under warranty. Ensuring customer safety doesnt pay the bills, apparently. Verizon has gone downhill in the last couple of years.
Had a horrible experience with a sales rep who had no idea how to talk with customers. Her only concern were her numbers and after pressuring me to sign a contract she promptly disappeared forcing me to obtain my new phone and any help to set it up from a different sales rep. I will never go back to this store.
My experience today was not a good one. I was passed over my turn in line 3 times and when I said something to the manager, all he could say was, oops sorry since its a computer system that says whos next, they had to say I was finished 3 different times when I had not been helped. I just switched to verizon, and I can say my first experience with customer service was not a good one. Lets hope this is not the trend company wide!!
Upgraded our 10GB line to Unlimited. Now our service is incredibly slow. The effect was immediate the day we switched to Unlimited. Significantly slower speeds.
This used to be my favorite Verizon. Had been going here for almost 10 years any time I had a problem but within the last year the service has really gone downhill. After waiting for almost 30 minutes the girl who came over to try and help me had no idea about iPhones and was looking things up on google. If I am going somewhere to get answers thats what I would like to leave with. The staff needs to be trained better and up to date with the current phones that have been released. Definitely would not waste your time going here.
Laura was very nice, helpful, and educated on pretty much everything. She has helped me, my mom, and my aunt multiple times. They all have had wonderful experiences.
Always help me correct my own mistakes, so kindly!! 😊
Average cell phone sales outli. Service is nil. Once upon a time you could bring into this outlet your phone and equipment for diagnostics and reprogramming or replacement. Now that service is not advertised or encouraged. The Verizon Store sells phones, accessories and phone plans. It does not promote phone service in regards to smart phone or accessory functions.Update,. I am done with Verizon. Over 10 years with them. Mostly for convenience. I have become increasingly aware that they are more expensive than everyone else and there attitude is take it or leave it. Some people call that the Big Dog attitude. When you are the biggest you begin to believe your competition is irrelevant and the loss of customers due to arrogance is also irrelevant.I just returned to have my screen protector replaced. When I bought it at this store I commented on the high price and the salesman said if I had any problem with it to just bring it in. I did and I was told Verizon is not responsible and told me to contact Zagg. I just spent nearly 90 dollars for car chargers that cost half that much most everywhere else. But I thought since they are high speed c type chargers I should get the Verizon brand. Never again. Advertising continues to advertise increased and comparable coverage at a fraction of the cost. I was stupid to continue settling for disrespect and arrogance. I AM SWITCHING and going to pay a fraction of the cost!
Unprofessional. Not interested in solving any problems they caused, blamed it all on automatic systems. Female representative whose name started with R was caustic. I expected more from the corporate office, Ive had much better service at the third party Verizon over by Walmart and 395.
Kaeli was awesome! Very informational and made my shopping experience quick and pleasant. And on top of that, she placed my screen protector on my phone perfectly.
My story is that I just want to talk with someone in the local Verizon store.
Overpriced but friendly staff. They are there to sell but dont hound you so thats nice but common verizon dont you think its time to scale back on your pricing?
After waiting 20 minutes they told me I had to call a number to make the change I needed to make. So I spent half an hour on the phone, they told me it was done and the next day I found out the change didnt go through.
Great service very friendly, yes the wait at times a little longer than I would like but service makes up for it Natalie and her manager tall dude with beard where great
If I could review Verizon store as less then 1 star I would. Where do I start?... Ricky, you didn’t bother entering in my identification information correctly, I asked you several times about anything else you may need from me and you said you had everything you needed. You then wanted to up sale me when I told you I came in for one reason, (to port that number) and when I declined the upsale and informed you I had an appointment with another salesmen at the Verizon store off Clearwater you trashed talked that entire store, and stated you guys there at corporate, are always cleaning up the “ messes” the Verizon store on Clearwater makes... Then you stayed you ported a very important business phone number for me, and you didn’t even check to make sure it was ported.... it wasn’t. I’m unsure who’s in charge in that store, and if there’s any integrity left there. But it took hours and hours and hours to fix the “mess” this Verizon store made for me. Instead of hanging out around some table not wanting to get up, perhaps get re trained as a unit in customer service, quality control, and efficiency.
I only get credible, honest service when I go to the corporate branch of Verizon. I regret it every time I go to a franchised satelite branch. I really need to shop for another carrier because playing the high priced Verizon game is ridiculous.
Asscociate named Blanca was not helpful at all. She gave us a negative attitude from the second she started to speak with us. Could not help us at all with a simple line transfer.Terrible service. The old kiosk inside the mall used to be much better with their customers.
This Verizon store always solves my problems quickly. Not that Ive had a lot of problems, those few problems always get fixed quickly and with helpful staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff with all the new devices I have needed for both business and personal
Decent spot, some of the employees do very well, others are meh
Absolutely zero customer service. Talked to about 5 people to pay retail for a replacement phone, and every single person blew us off. Terrible customer service, terrible sales skills. Been with verizon over 10 years and this store is absolutely disgusting.
The verizon out at the Columbia Center mall are always able to help with our needs ... thank you so much
Wont be coming back here anymore. Lazy hipsters w banking hours.
I always get great service and help!
Its an okay place Im not too impressed with the location or staff
Had a horrible experience 2/3/18. I purchase a tablet, i wasnt sure which to buy, and the sales rep was not helpful i had questions about the tablets and she said she wasnt sure about anything. (more training needed for employees or get someone that knows something about electronics). I bought an android tablet and it go a blue screen the second day, so I reset and ignored the issue since it was a new tablet. 2 days later tablet got a black screen with an error on the screen so i had to reboot again!I decided to take tablet back to verizon store, and get an Ipad. The rep who was helping me said i had to pay a $35 restocking fee, no matter what. I told him i would not be in there if it were not for the defective tablet, again he said it was policy, blah blah. I told him that was ridiculous i was returning table at no fault of mine. why should i have to pay restocking fee, plus i was going to be buying a more expense tablet. He seemed irritated and said i could look at tablets and decide what i wanted to to. I returned tablet and paid $35 restocking fee.Next day, I called verizon was on hold for 10 min and they gave me a $35 credit and an apology. why couldnt this have been done in store, i waited 2 fricken hours for nothing. So, I bought my New Ipad pro online. I will not be going into that store to buy future phones or tablets. they will not get a commission for sloppy and mediocre service. Be warned when you go to this location. Dont have high expectations, and do your own online research on a new phone before you go, you will get no help here.
I normally hate going to the cell phone store, but I admit it was a very pleasant experience. We only waited 15 minutes tops, the staff was pleasant and helpful.
Always upgrades available and friendly service close at hand
Ive been in a lot of Verizon stores; this one is champion in my book...until proven otherwise.
Very bad 👎
Did not have a screen protector for my Note 8. Discontinued screen protectors for that device.
They helped my husband out with his phone. Google keeps doing up dates and changing things
Awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly, and Natalie was very smart!
The young man that was working by himself was wonderful.
IPhone X max came with a defect where a green line runs through the screen and they were no help in solving the issue. Blamed me for the line instead. Called apple and had the problem solved. I guess you have to cut out the middle person sometimes.
No stars and a big fat fire those creeps! They called my Verizon rep that helped me on the phone a Moron. Two of the pathetic excuses for employees both said it. They were rude, mocking, looking for every way possible to NOT help me. Then when I was talking to the manager I use that term loosely, they continued to stand behind the counter making comments and laughing immaturity at how cool they thought they were while the manager did nothing to curtail the behavior. Disgusting. Shame on you verizon for allowing your company to be represented in such a disrespectful way by these thugs.
Great service and Finley staff
There buy one get one free is a lie. This store and its company is full of lie, rude, and rip off. I filed my buy one get one now when I called the rebate center they said its too late I cannot get the other phone for free. They said they email me. But I did not get anything. I knew this is going to happen who the hell gives $792 for free.
Best cell reception in tri cities
Good service, very prompt, got in and out fast!
Horrible. 6 people working and only 2 helping customers. 7 people ahead of me at 1029 am. Their customer service reps are slow and rude.
Best service around plain and simple
Good service but usually a long wait
Bought my grandson is telephone case there cuz he has a Verizon phone & couldnt find the case any where else!
Great service.
40 mins and counting for a screen protector. Im sure they are very friendly but why not have just one cashier available for purchases.
