Have been away from Kennewick for 11 years. Was back visiting family and doing some minor repairs. Went to Washington Hardware hoping that it had not changed. To my pleasant surprise I was greeted by a young man that directed me to the parts I needed. In the background I heard John ask if we found everything Things have not changed. Big chain stores take a lesson. Actually don’t. I like the hometown feel and service

The employees willingness to help is second to none. Excellent hardware and furniture selection. Three overground stories and one basement. Quite a lot of space.

I would say that Washington True Value has the top customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Every time i enter the store i am immediately helped and directed to exactly what i need to get to be in and out. I wish Home Depot or Lowes had a work mentality like this, but thats the difference between a big business and small business. Quality over quantity!

The boss is quite rude to the newer employees who dont know everything yet and it seems like they are forced to bother you every minute and ask you if you need help even though youve stated what you are doing multiple times. There is a point where good customer service becomes an annoyance, especially in a store thats is small enough you can hear customers at the door from the register.

What great service! I was greeted immediately and helped through the item I needed (gloves), was assisted in a couple other things I decided I needed. Everyone was very friendly and more than willing to help! After my purchase, I realized I forgot to get a receipt or lost it on the way back to work. I called and spoke to the owner (who wrang my purchase up) and asked if I could swing back by and get a copy as I needed it for work reimbursement, of course I was told yes, I let him know would be either yesterday (day of purchase) or today to come by as our work hours are the same. Before I knew it, within 10 minutes, he had someone drive down and bring it to my work directly and showed up with the receipt! This was such great and unexpected service, even for a small purchase, was above and beyond! Thank you so much, and I highly, highly recommend using them for your hardware and other goody needs!

Everything you need on the east side of town because theres nothing like it on the east side of Kennewick plus theyre so friendly I dont know how they do it
