I went in for a throttle and fuel injector cleaning because it was idling rough and not saving on gas. I used my Palmen Rewards and SAVED $30. Now its running better and Im happy with the service I got.

Stopped by to get emissions test. After an entirely too long wait, was approached by a kid without uniform or other visible identification to show he actually worked there. Kid brusquely confirmed I was there for emissions test, then vaguely directed me to the waiting area. I note he collected no paperwork from me for this process.After a few minutes, he let us know the test was finished, again in a very minimalist fashion, then sort of told us where I could find my car.I located my car, still running, completely unattended, with the drivers side door wide open. (Apparently safety and security is something that happens to other people?)
My online appointment didnt go through but Tim and the service guys squeezed me in. Always courteous and it was fast.

I’m sad to say that we had a horrible experience at this dealership recently. We started off with Darrell James (our salesman who was great) and Vince Tomasello the sale manager who is an absolute snake. We went back and forth on the trade in amount for my vehicle and finally came to an agreement (near closing time so we didn’t finish the deal that night) The next day we came in to look at another truck. Dan Cholly (another sales manager was there that night) he put together numbers on the truck we looked at, honoring the original amount Tomasello offered me for my car. We came to an agreement on the price of the truck as well. They printed papers for us and shook our hands. We exchanged info for my bank to have the contact faxed over the following day. That following day when the contract was supposed to be sent out Tomasello was back in the dealership and said he wasn’t going to honor the original amount offered because he felt that he was over paying for my vehicle. So they tried to back out of the deal. After we explained that it was unacceptable after shaking our hands and printing the papers out for us then they said okay we’ll just go through with it. Once the contract was faxed over to my bank, the snakes tried to send the loan amount for higher than what we agreed to on the original papers they printed for us!! When we contacted them about it their response was to sign off the way it was and they would even it out once we got there!! Are you kidding me?!
When walking into the dealership, everyone is always with a smile, greet you as you are walking, and take care of you right away. Very courteous.
I dropped my truck off for repair Monday morning at 7:45 AM. I arranged for a ride to work from a coworker. I received a call later in the morning telling me that the actuator needed to be replaced. however the part was not in stock. It needed to be ordered and the repair made the following day. I was told by Tim that there were no loaner vehicles available for my use during this period of time. I complained to Tim that this was not acceptable, but was told that I could blame the government for the issue. I was stranded at work and needed to arrange for my own transportation home at the end of the day. My home is 45 minutes from work. I also needed to arrange for transportation to work the next morning and pick up at the end of the day to then go and receive my truck back from the dealership. I have purchased five vehicles from Palmen in the last four years between personal and work vehicles. I felt that the phone call interaction was unhelpful and I was angry being stranded at work with no loaner vehicle available. I will be hesitant to purchase or service vehicles at Palmen in the future.
Well I have a Buick and I chose to take it to a Buick dealer for my maintenance so far very reasonable they know my car satisfactory work I will come back if I need maintenance
Exhaust is noisier now than before the repair. Not bad enough to justify a return trip to have it checked out, (30 miles round trip and a couple hours of my time), but not what I expected.Other work completed as expected and on time.Competitive pricing on new tires.Overall-a good job.
My brand new 2021 1500 Denali had bent rods and destroyed lifters at 5000 miles The dealership was great. Truck not so much. Lost confidence in the motor and brand. I traded it in for a RAM
On August 10, which was hottest day so far my car broke down. My wife who has raspatory problems was in the car with me. The heat was starting to affect my wife when a Palmen Buick technician named Bill stopped to help us. He made sure we got home ok and worked with Tim to get my car fixed. I want to thank Bill for his most generous and timely help. It was a God send that Bill stopped to help us.

I brought my 2019 XT4 in for an oil change, first time using Palmen. I set up the appointment online, which I like to do. Palmen confirmed it with an email and text. When I arrived, service told me it was going to take an hour and also asked if I wanted a wash, which I did. I went into the customer lounge, answered a few emails and within 1 hour they brought me my keys and I was done! I liked the efficiency of check in, the living up to what they told me on the timeframe, and the friendliness of everyone I encountered.I will definitely be returning!
Although I did find the vehicle I was looking for, I was denied the Friends and Family Discount for the purchase of my vehicle. However, I was allowed to use Friends and Family Discount for the purchase of the GMS floor covers that I purchased. I dont understand why I was not provided the same courtesy for the vehicle purchase. Because of this denial I would not recommend anyone to the dealership.

Darrell (James) was amazing! Seriously! He’s the one that deserves the 5 stars! He would get a higher rating if that were a thing. I am very difficult to work with. I know what I want, and want the best deal out there. There was so much back and forth between cars and different options. He went above and beyond to do his best to find me what I wanted. As a single mom on a budget, it is very much a blessing to find someone who cares to find you the best and safest car for you and your children. To him it wasn’t just a “sale”; he treated me like family. I hope he is still there the next time I am ready to buy another vehicle. I cannot say I had the best experience with the managers. They took forever and made me wait. I got a discount for being in healthcare, and the manager said he gave it to me, then I had to point out it really wasn’t on my agreement. The managers really have to pick it up there. It seems they are doing too much at once. Otherwise, it is a great place!

Calls to let me know what the problem is, what needs to be done. My car is usually done the same day. My 2015 Enclave began blowing hot air with the ac on. I took it in and had it repaired under warranty and was a happy camper. 3 weeks ago I had the same issue and took it to Palmen in Kenosha. Now out of factory warranty I used Car Shield and was told CarShield does not fully cover the issue and I had to pay out of pocket over $400.00 which also included an oil change. Air conditioner worked however the blower was less than as it was before. Nonetheless I have cool air in this heat. The very next day, warm air again. I called Tim, same one I dealt with the previous incident at Palmen GMC in Kenosha. I’m now told the issue is a common problem, the air conditioning lines. I was shown some photo of purple fluorescent Freon leaking from the problem area. I asked if it’s so common, why didn’t you check for this before? I’m sure if it worked for one day, this leak would have been detected before releasing all this Freon into the atmosphere. I was told it isn’t an issue they look for. I’m driving with my windows down. I have no confidence in Palmen GMC/Buick Kenosha Wis. or General Motors vehicles.

My husband took his car here to be have his check engine light looked at. After looking at the vehicle, they told him that his car would need a whole new steering wheel pump and they ended up keeping the car for about 3 weeks.After getting the car returned to him, the problem came back. After spending thousands of dollars to get it fixed Palmen, we had to bring it to a different shop. Apparently the new part that was put in wasnt on correctly and that was still causing it to not run right.The new shop, K-town auto, found the issue, fixed it and charged way less than what we had paid Palmen to fix.Dealerships seem to find all the problems with your car but are never able to fix it. 0/10

2016 acadia had issues while on an out of state trip and ended up at Palmen as it was closest dealer to where issue arises. Service department diagnosed the issue and helped sort out the warranty (powertrain) claim and car has been running great since. They also provided a loaner which was very helpful as I was with my two young daughters. Would recommend the service department (Tony).
If you need your vehicle serviced go see Bob in the service department. He will ensure you are taken care of. For the remainder of my time in Wisconsin I will only go to Palmen. They are professional at its finest, and believe in true customer service.
My car went in for electrical problems, they could not figure it out because it didn’t act up when plugged into the computer, I told them to replace what they thought was wrong. It cost $1000 and it is still not fixed. This was the second time they tried to fix it. It cost me $1000 the last time too. I won’t take it back a third time. I probably will not buy anything with gm parts again. It will probably be something foreign.
Went for my emissions. Guys in the bay werent wearing masks, even when entering the building. Every place is different but pandemic still going on. Anyway, fast emissions test so appreciate the service

Test drove Pre-owned Stock P7168 VIN: CW51583 5/25/2021 AM. Nice sales guy (Rick). Before coming down he said the car was still available but not ready yet that the shop was struggling diagnosing an engine/exhaust rattling noise when cold. He explained in a bit more detail with thoughts of it being an exhaust heat shield. I told him it was fine and Id like to look at the car anyway, because it was a rather rare 6 speed AWD. And maybe being a seemingly reputable dealership if there were any faults Palmen would recondition the vehicle to a sellable condition or discount the asking price. I had a notion what the symptoms Rick was explaining really were (as it is a fairly common with the N54 engine). Nice car recently detailed - very much interested. When I got there the engine was nice and hot (maybe to mask the symptoms of the noise?). However revving the engine in neutral and bringing back to idle the rattle is heard. Tall Tale sign of turbo waste gate issues. Checked the vacuum system to the turbos seemed visually OK. Still interested we took the car out for a test drive. Drove out to the Interstate and having owned several of this series before I could tell power level was just not normal. Just as we were accelerating onto the on-ramp the car lost power and had a service engine warning light come on the dash with the audible dinging. In my experience these conditions are the classic signs of turbo waste gate failure for this type of car. Still interested I made an offer I thought was reasonable with the work suspected, while also counter offering to pay full asking price if the car was properly repaired by a BMW dealer or reputable independent shop. The used car manager (Vince?) did everything he could to not take my and Ricks (he was on the drive with me) word what happened on the test drive - Vince even commented If we have to fix it I will ask more for the car. 10 minutes later they pulled it in to their shop area to check trouble codes (which I assumed was an FF30) and came back several times our scanner does not read these cars. Or, there were no codes. Right then as I was waiting for some sort of higher level of diagnosis from their top tech to confirm my suspicion. Another salesman started showing the car to another buyer. At that point I wished Rick the best and thanked him for his time. You could see he was also slightly troubled by his managers handling of this situation. Im not sure why Vice would not just say well do anything we can to make the car right.Having purchased a Pre-owned vehicle from Palmen 4 months ago along with 1 good service experience, this is not really a review to bash this dealer. However... hopefully the next owner of said P7168 has a record that an engine issue was present before their purchase. One that I clearly explained and brought to the attention or Rick and his manager Vince. And when the new owner gets down the road is met with an expensive repair bill maybe they come back to Google reviews and have some sort of documentation on my experience to go back to Palmen with. If they were a stand up dealer they should pull this car from inventory and take it to a technician with the equipment to diagnose properly before selling. But Im afraid they will just clear the codes and send it down the road to some unsuspecting buyer.

Terrible lack of communication from my service advisor. Never called me back with answers to questions. I had to call him back. Then was told I could come in at 10:00am to have my tire changed. The tire Wasnt there yet. Mind you I live in Milwaukee. I then went and visited my mother for a couple hours while I waited for him to call me when it was in. Again, he never called to update me as promised. When I called several hours later, he said it wasn’t in. I wasted and took a half day off of work for absolutely no reason! Then as soon as I get back to Milwaukee, he called and said I could come in. I could not come back as I had a 1:00pm meeting I was already almost late for. I then had to take another 1/2 day off work the following day to get the tire replaced (and drive the 45 minutes back to Kenosha). I also thought there was some sort of road hazard warranty, but ended up paying full price for the tire. When I just bought the 4 new tires less than a month before this. I was so disappointed with the run around of getting the tire I decided not to waste any more of my time to inquire about the road hazard warranty, needless to say, I may be deciding to look elsewhere for service. I used you for the fact I visit Kenosha several times a month to visit family and friends and it’s usually convenient to make an appointment when I come down. Now to decide where to go when I decide to upgrade this truck? Should have just gone to tires plus or something like that for the tires!
Great Service!! We were traveling steady to get my Dad home for surgery the next morning.. we still had 9 hours of driving and we had a tire emergency. The guys in the service department got us right in, and replaced all 4 tires quickly. They saved us that day! We were able to get him home in time, and we are grateful to everyone that helped us at Palmen!!
I have a Buick Rendezvous with 236,000 miles on it. I love this car.The check engine light and electrical lights have come on in the past year.I have been to two other repair locationsOver the last year and spent alot of money and no one has been able to fix the problem. Then the coolant started spraying up through the hood of my car.Prior to the coolant issue I called Palmen and spoke with Tony who said his tech knows Rendezvous and will fix the problem.When the coolant spewed I took it to Palmen and spent $1500.00 for water pump and wiring.I picked up my car and did not get more than 2 blocks when the light came back on. I called Tony and we made an appointment for the Saturday he worked. The light went off so I cancelled the appointment with the understanding if it came back on I would bring it back in. Shortly thereafter the light came on I called Tony and I brought it back. Tony had left before I got there so when I turned in the keys I wrote on the form warranty inspection check. I received a quote for a new radiator and alternator for $1507 and was told I should replace the thermostat too. All of which I would have thought should have been done the first time possibly instead of the wiring since Tony said my car was still running hot.I did not expect them to say they made a mistake in either the diagnosis or the work but was hoping for honesty. Then, along with the quote Tony said I owe $160 for the inspection. When I said he never told me I would have to pay anything he said he told me it would have to go to the tech. Somehow that is code for you must pay money. After I lost my temper Tony agreed we could cut it in half. Now my car still has the same problem and I am out the additional money.I cannot say they are worse than any other auto repair place but I certainly cannot say they are any better. This is my opinion.Thank you for your response. Yes, I am amazed something went wrong less than 2 blocks from your dealership immediately after picking it up and am also amazed at the hidden charges couched in your verbal codes.People see the truth.
I just went for an emissions test and the tech discovered that I blew a fuse that powered my OBD port and went and got got a new fuse for me. They were super cool.
Friendly salesperson Dan Salisbury very helpful, no nonsense or games. I appreciated being able to convey my needs, test drive a vehicle by myself without any pressure. Didnt get dragged in to sit and wait for the 3rd party haggle process. In and out less than an hour including a half hour test drive. Left a list of my interests and price range. I have purchased many cars from Palmen Gmc and a used car from Palmen Dodge. I deal with Mike Mattner or Roger Johnson. I do a lot of research so I know what I want to spend before I go to the dealership. Kenny the sales manager is easy to work with as well. One place where Palmen performs well is their Service department. Dan First always tries to be fair and satisfy his customers. Tim and Jason the service writers do their best to get you in and out quickly. I believe they have the hardest jobs in any automotive dealership. When someone buys a car they are usually happy to hand over a check and drive off with their new car. When you eventually need service the writers have to explain the costs and reasons it needs to be done. This can and does sometimes get expensive. You will however be treated fairly and courteously. Overall my experiences with Palmen Gmc have been positive and have recommended them to my family and friends.

Not a good experience here. Went in to see if I could qualify for a truck with my less than perfect credit. The initial sales guy I talked to was a nice guy, but the salesman who brought back my credit report didnt get name, blond hair guy.(which said 70 points less than my credit karma app claims) he said my payments were going to be much higher than the range I wanted to stay in. I declined that offer and asked if he had any used trucks for a lower price he said he would check and went to the front desk and chat with a coworker for the remaining time i was there. Its like once he saw he wasnt getting the sale all interest and courtesy was out the door which is where I went.Update: I was contacted by a representative about not having a good experience here . Seems they want to make things right, There was a few used trucks that were in my price range and I was given the first shot at one, the salesman said he wouldnt put it on the lot yet until I came and see if I wanted it, which I did . I liked the truck and we made a deal I walked out of their feeling good with the keys to my truck. Thanks Orlando for putting the extra time and going out of your way to make things right.

Had engine issues in my car and when we got the estimated cost we ended up selling it to them. Even though we sold the car to them they still charged us a 180 dollar service fee for looking at the engine. No mention of this when I told them we we not going to invest in it anymore and was going to get another car. We found one at another dealership and once they knew we werent going to buy a car from them it became a bad experience. Had to wait several days for my check from the car and no mention of a service fee until my check was given to the service department. Then I was told there is a fee even though they bought the car. Horrible experience and seems very shady how they do business. So glad I did not buy a car from here. Go somewhere else!

Car-buying is not something I am used to doing. And even though my husband was with me, it was my purchase and my deal. My salesman, Juan Resendiz understood that and was responsive to my questions without ever being condescending. We were there one afternoon test driving and making the purchase. The next day we came back to take delivery. Between those 2 days, Juan spent a great deal of time with us.It happened to be the end of a promotional period so the dealership was pretty busy. Juan was hustling around nonstop. The cars we asked to drive were in front of the door almost instantly. They were willing to make a change to the car I wanted to make it perfect for me which surprised me.Bottom line is: as much as I hated to give up my 2006 Buick Lacrosse, I really love driving my new Buick Regal.
