I drove to Gateway following my friend, Brad taking his 30ish Ford hoping to sell it. Theyre located in a fairly new building having a nice variety of classic cars on sale. For a reasonable price they will sell your car with great exposure while your car is stored within the warehouse protected from the elements. I inquired about selling my Daytona Coupe and they said theyd be ecstatic to have it on the premises! The staff was very friendly and accommodating being very thorough with your vehicles information.
A candy store for collector car fanatics. Ive wanted to stop in, and Caffeine and Chrome was a great reason to pull out the TA and be part of the cruise-in as well as see the showroom. Going back next month!
Awesome group of people, beautiful inventory, always a great experience there!
Wish I had more Money to purchase another ride to fill my Garage.
Super friendly, helpful people. So much fun looking at all the amazing cars!
Spotted this gem while surfing the net for a TR6. Drove out to Gateway in Kenosha, and bought it within two hours. Dennis and Julya were very helpful during the entire process. There are so many incredible cars on display here, Im lucky I was focused on the 1976 TR6 when I walked in with my wife. The dealership is like a car show. Now we have to wait for a break in the weather so we can truly enjoy our new TR6.
Let me start by saying that personally I love the car I purchased. I love the person I hired to inspect the car. No problems arranging transport from Colorado to Minneapolis. That guy was great also. However thats the end of the the superlatives. My car came. It went immediately into the shop for repairs - the same ones noted on the inspection at the tune of $5000. Not unexpected. What has been unexpected is the fact that after 6 weeks I still have no title. No answers. No returned emails or calls; despite being promised both. The only way I get someone to talk to me is to hang on the phone and refuse to hang up. I cant get permanent tags without the title. They say they will get the temporary tags extended once they expire but how do I trust that when they cant even call me back with an update despite putting it on the the calendar. Teaching point. If you use this operation, dont take possession of the car without having the title in hand. The two week promise has holes in it. The Colorado statute requiring it within 30 days - weve blown past that one.
Nothing like pulling up and having a dirty, smelly, guy tell at you pointing to the door saying do you have a appointment. We said NO?, then the response was goodbye, thats fine, was sent there from the Chicago store. Went to another classic dealership in Wisconsin and bought a $29,000 car. There are other places who would love cash to buy a car. Well never be back. And Im sure Ill get the same automatic response from them about this, just like the other bad rewiewed ones. So personal. NOT!
I recently sold my muscle car at the Kenosha location and found it to be an overall good experience. I was hoping for a bit more help in pricing the vehicle, but I had a figure in mind that I thought was reasonable and Chris at Gateway (after a quick online price review of like cars) confirmed that the asking price, with their commission added on, was reasonable. I was impressed with the photo shoot and video of the car. There wasnt any pressure to purchase any upgrades or detailing services. The sales team at Gateway contacted me whenever there was an active offer on the vehicle and didnt give any pressure to accept. They make some money on the transaction, but they earn it.
Nice cars. A bit overpriced.
Recently purchased a beautiful 57 Chevy from Milwaukee Gateway Classic Cars. The transaction was seamless. Shop Manager gave us a complete go-over of the car prior to the purchase. Chuck had all paperwork in order. Dennis was a pleasure to deal with over the phone. These are honest people and treat you very good as a buyer or simply a person looking at a future purchase. Highly recommend ... FIVE STARS!!!
Mike at Gateway Milwaukee was very helpful and great to work with. This was a first for me buying a car from out of state, but with the video and over a 100 pictures to look at made my decision easier. I purchased the car and it was delivered in 7 days to my home here in Nevada ! Thanks Mike and Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee !
Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is my favorite place to go and check out their selection of classic cars. Dennis was very helpful showing me around and explaining Gateway Classic Cars’ process. The space is large, bright and has a wonderful selection of cars. The monthly Cars and Coffee events are a blast and I cannot wait to take my kids this summer.
Very nice grate service beautiful auto
Employees r super disrespectful. Will never do business with this company again. Nor do i suggest for anyone else to. Its a shame i really thought things would work out. Even after i filed a complaint they dont return my calls. Smh
Dennis was great and helped us through the whole process of buying my new car. Saw it first on the website, then traveled to Milwaukee to see it in person. Got to look at all the cars for sale. That was a big mistake, because my wife saw 5 or 6 cars she wants. Would recommend Gateway Classic Cars. Thanks again
Fraudulent. Think of a used car dealership in the 80s and thats Gateway. Unfortunately, the mentality is at the local local and corporate level. Yes, go the corporate office involved when, after several months of delay, I received a vehicle that didnt run. The worst company Ive ever dealt with, STAY AWAY!
Awesome selection of collectors cars.
In the great location and nice building. Inside is clean and neatly arranged. Beautiful assortment of cars.
Dennis did a great job answering the numerous questions I had regarding a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air listed on their website. He assisted with information about financing and collector car insurance to help make my dream car a reality! Im looking forward to my Route 66 trip with this car next year in my new 57 Bel Air!
I totally advise against buying a camaro from 69 to more than $ 44,000 and which has many things to hide. for a pro its a shameI have send mail, but i never had answers !
I have bought several classic cars online. some wins. some loses. this was my first experience with Gateway Classic Cars (Wisc Showroom). The experience was the BEST I have had. Chuck Peterson was so responsive and informative. I made an offer on the car I bought (69 Chevy Chevelle) and within 15 minutes had me a counter that was acceptable. His transparent approach needs to be taught to every sales man who never meets the customer face to face. He instilled Trust. He was upfront about minor flaws on car and when it was delivered (which he set up for me!), the Car was exactly as Chuck had described. Hats off to Chuck and his team at GCC.
THE place to shop for classic cars! Very friendly, helpful staff. Couldnt have asked for a smoother transaction. They bend over backwards to assist you.
Only the best cars. Very knowledgeable sales people.
I liked looking at the cars. It was rainy but indoors so no problem enjoying my time.
Very friendly and knowledgeable, they are selling my muscle car/showcar
Worked with Dennis Zawilla on the purchase of my 57 Chevy wagon. He helped make the transaction seamless and I had my vehicle delivered to Ga. in 10 days of starting the process. Did this purchase via phone and email. The extra effort on Dennis part made me feel very comfortable in making my choice of vehicle.
Great service, showroom, and selection of classic cars. Like walking through a very cool auto museum, except you can take these home with you!
The staff here was super helpful and willing to assist at any point. The selection of cars was great and the prices werent bad either.
I just purchased a vehicle from Gateway Classic Cars. Chuck Petersen was my salesman. He was very courteous and worked extremely hard to make purchasing my car a wonderful experience.
Mr. Dennis gave my son the best day ever by allowing him to sit in the 1957 Ford Thunderbird.
