The employees are great they take you to the Isle where the product is that you asked for. The prices on some things are a little high but everything is going up in price. The produce department is small compared to other stores and they dont have a lot of viriaty with fruit and veggies. All in all its a good place to shop if your not in a hurry. Store is clean and employees very pleasant and helpful. I also like that they have the small carts and the big carts. I use the small cart its just me Im buying for. Stop on in the bakery there fresh breads and desserts are wonderful and theyll make it the way you ordered it. I cant resist the coconut cream pie,.. 😋🤤.

Safeway has a sale going on. Their meat has been buy 1 get one and so have their fruits. When you buy food you get a discount on your gas which always comes in handy. Especially since prices have been sky rocketing. You also get discounts if you have a membership (which is free to get) I like the convenience of the location but this place is a super pricey compared to like walmart or winco. Their floral arrangements are beautiful but also over priced. When doing night shopping just make sure to check your surroundings or carry mace maybe. Its been getting pretty sketchy around here. Oh, and if youre looking for the tyson chicken cubes theyre sold out everywhere. 😩😩😩

This has been my neighborhood grocerie store for the last 11years . I have noticed lots of sketchy homeless people and the shop lifting is out of control. The cashiers are great, friendly . My only complaint is the supply for bread and supplies dwindling ..

This store has consistent issues, today its not enough registers open... Its Friday 6:30, they have 2 registers open and self check is closed.. the lines for the 2 registers both stretch all the way down the isles to the meat department at the BACK OF THE STORE...

Hes always really slow at night now before I blast out for five months theyve been Rock Solid slammed up until closing and up to probably almost an hour after Safeway areas that we service some merchandising. Love most of the crew at most of the Safeway that I would rather just burn to the ground. Anyways but most of them are helpful and we are grateful when they do help

So far, this Safeway in Kent is the absolute worse establishment I have been in years. I can tell some of it has to do with the constant flow of people shopping. It is so overcrowded that everytime I go there, the employees either are ignorant and or cannot do anything about the shoplifting that happens right in front of you because i see it as a HUGE problem. It is sad to be seeing over the years places like Kent becoming more of a place to get and keep away from, mainly for me is the mean spirited residents that seem to join the other sinners as if they cant beat the bad people, might as well join them. WELL I SAY HAPPY THOUGHTS KENT ! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT ! 👍

Well I was shocked when I went to pick up some money at western union and the store said sorry we don’t have enough money yet come back later????? Hold up, your telling me your a western union but you don’t have 300 to pay out, so then why are you even a western union if you can’t pay when it’s time!! I’m utterly amazed to have to even put this on there! Why even have be a store at all!! SAD AS SAD COULD BE!!

Staff has been very attentive, helpful, and cheerful.Cons: can be homeless people around the store.Product selection: solid.Pharmacy - great, quick service. 5/5.Produce: been great - fresh, tasty, and usually well priced, 5/5.Deli counter hot-food:Rotisserie chicken - solid, 4/5.Fried chicken - tasty stuff, 4/5.Potato wedges - pretty bland, 2/5.Pizza stick - over cooked and also pretty bland, 1/5.Chow mein - over cooked, and again kinda bland, 2/5.Egg roll - quite flavourful, crispy, and delicious, 4/5.Boom boom shrimp - darn tasty, nice mix of sweet and spicy (good kick), 5/5.

Stocks always full on the shelves whenever I was there. Selectionwise, their own brand, Signature items were displayed a lot but seem ok but not happy. Many times open cashiers counters are one or two at the busiest time. Parking lot is a bit dirty and old.

The staff that I asked questions were helpful. I even ask a person that didnt work for company. He even answered my question. The cashier took time to tie several of my bags because the containers kept popping open.

What I like the most about this store, is how organized it is. Easily accessible goods, that arent too complicated to know where they are. The store is often very clean. Staff is generally friendly and courteous, but the hot foods staff can be rude quite often. They may just be over worked due to a small staff. Ive had to wait up to 25 minutes before in the hot foods line, as I am the only one waiting, just to be served. I think they need to hire more staff.

Always has more ready to eat but prepped and packaged food to eat than most other stores around Auburn have, which is good for SNAP benefits.

My Daughters Birthday is today and when I went to go pick up her special cake, it was very special..But more of like my mom thinks Im special, rather than professionally special. It looked nothing like what I had sent a picture of, I believe I could have done better and I have never baked anything, ever..However, they gave us the cake for free (as well they should)..I woke up at the crack-butt of dawn to get in there around 5am to make sure when they put the ticket in for the new cake, which they didnt...Ryan*, was super sweet, she took her time, somehow finished in under 20minutes, and my daughters cake looks immaculate! I wanted to pay for it, she insisted we take it for free as an apology on their end.. Needless to say, she saved our day and started our hectic Birthday morning rush off on the right foot! Thank you Ryan* for restoring our faith in Safeway Bakeries everywhere! Youre a real one!

The Floral area was extremely busy, because of Mothers Day, but the service was exceptional... The registers were busy and lines to the aisles, but this store is usually this busy... The parking lot is very tight and narrow, but again this Safeway is very convenient and worth the drive and wait!!! Thank you Safeway in Graham!!!

The staff was rude and stereotyped several people while I was shopping there. I watched as the staff followed shoppers and made their shopping experience and my shopping experience miserable just because they were homeless or appeared to be homeless. It was a disgusting display and i and everyone i speak to about this will be boycotting safeway establishments.

Awful. The worst Safeway I have ever been to. Safeway Corp. shoukd really step in and I intervene. Surely, this has to be a franchise location. Nobody knows anything about any thing, aisles are never fully stocked, disabled motor carts are a scant few and never charged. A disgrace, truly. They should be ashamed to call themselves a Safeway.

Cashiers and others are very friendly. Selection is amazing, but whats up with the shopping carts? Three times in a row, I couldnt get my cart out of the door. I was told it was a broken wheel. Strange how it work fine it the store. I didnt see any carts in the parking lot either. If I spend over $170, I should be able to take my cart outside to wait for my cab. I dont know if the broken wheel is the stock corporate answer or what, but I wont be going back for this sole reason. Other than that the staff are wonderful.

Strange the security company they use run off paying customers yet they let it be overrun by homeless and shoplifters. The security company PHENIX act like the are real cops not rent a cops that they are. I guess they cant pick on the homless so they pick on paying customers, because they are on a power trip and have to pick on somebody. Dont shop there unless you like being harsssed.

Kinda average, kinda good. Selection is limited and location is not great, but the feel is good. It feels like a place where you can shop with happiness inside of you. The staff are okay too. Theyre not mean or anything. Sometimes they have stuff that is too expired for me to buy and I have to tell them it is expired so they will prevent other unaware customers from tripping.

Went to the bank inside Safeway, also bought our plan for dinner & their the best nut & grain nut bread we have found.

This particular Safeway is often under-stocked. When I go to Safeway stores in more affluent neighborhoods I see that those stores do not have bare shelves for the same items. This was true even before COVID and before the more recent global disruption of supply chains.

Business is allowing customers to come in without a mask on and not verify if they have been vaccinated or not so a lot of people that arent vaccinated are entering the stores without masks. It made for a very uncomfortable shopping experience on account that they are not even enforcing the 6 rule anymore either most likely will go find somewhere else to shop or start having my groceries delivered.

Ahh its not worth it...ok Ill say for the third time purchased 8 piece chicken-2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks and 2 wings and that wasnt what was inside. 4 thighs....no breasts and drums and wings. It was not labeled all dark meat or I would not have not bought it. Ill never purchase anything from that Delhi again.Im a breast guy and was very disappointed again.

Good inventory, and a lot of variety/options. Produce is very good quality. Some of the staff can be a bit rough around the edges but thats due to Dealing with all the shoplifters they encounter at this location.

Extremely busy most of the time, but the staff work extremely hard and always manage to have a positive attitude which I really can really appreciate. I usually come here since the next closest grocery store would be Fred Meyer I think. Which is just as busy and really doesn’t have as much as Safeway does regarding actual grocery. I think this store would benefit from having more cash registers open more frequently to help control the flow of traffic.

I hate coming to this safeway. Its a normal Friday evening and for some reason there isnt a single grocery cart in the whole store available. I tell someone and they just give me a hand basket. I go over to the deli and get some Chinese food and the lid wont stay on the container. So I ask if I can put it in a bag. The dude looks at me and says I can get a bag after I pay. so I said is there any way to keep the lid from coming off so my food doesnt go everywhere. And you finally offers to wrap it in plastic for me. And then hands it to me very rudely and turns rocks away. Like I put him out. So rude

I would like to know what kind of quality assurance there is in the deli at safeway Kent!!? I bought regular chicken wings on 4/31/21. They are dry, and very hard. You should be ashamed to sell product this old, and bad. Not only did you sell it, you put it in a bag that has the word fresh on it! Clearly they arent fresh.

Assistance needed in the Liquor Aisle - a common computer-generated over-the-loudspeaker announcement due to button you can push in that area of store. Lotta liquor flying off these shelves in evenings. Meat Market employees are really friendly, as are the checkers. Sometimes the lines really pile up.

It has most products that you want to buy. Also, I was kinda surprised because Safeway has Fresh vegetables that I didnt expect.

One of the ladies that worked here asked me what I was looking for. Was about to.answer and she walked away.I bought some egg rolls from the deli. I bought four, but got home and ate one and it was the worse egg roll I ate.I end up heaving it up and threw the other in the trash.Inside was so mushy and nasty.

Love My Safeway it sits on the East side of Washington Ave here in Kent.. All these extra safety measures to reduce the spread of Covid and keep us All healthy has got to be stressful, and being a Grocery Store the whole safety routine is quadrupled compared to other places. Yet the smiles and friendly greeting and helpful attitudes are all still the same. So yep, Love my Safeway.

Went here for the last year while I lived nearby. Redbox and Starbucks in store, best gas prices in town, good deals on fresh beef, and extensive Hispanic food section.

Decent safeway they usually have everything that I need in stock and the customer service is adequate

I ordered online at Safeway.com, and asked for text alerts.I got a text saying that my order was ready for pickup, so we drove there called with parking spot # and then a very nice lady brought our groceries. She checked our ID and then pleasantly loaded our groceries in the back of our mini van. 🤓The only I didnt give 5*s is because they were out of stock on a few items, so I was bummed, but I understand and I sincerely appreciate them! 💚

The employees there are very nice. I love shopping there.I would like to offer an update. So I went to Safeway Supermarket this morning, and I purchased a few items. Anyway there was an item that was $3.19 which was Lucerne Whole Milk. I was charged $3.29 for the Lucerne Whole Milk. When I said something about the price difference even though it was only a $0.10 price difference she basically said the computer was right, and I was a liar.I didnt appreciate that at all whatsoever.

I had to try a different Safeway due to me being out of my town, but experience was great. The store had a slightly different layout so I wasnt able to just jump right to get things but they werent too far off and a little bit backwards from the store that Ive been used to. I was still able to get my shopping done quickly even though I had to go through almost every aisle just to know where everything was. Checking out was very good thanks for the help of one of their Checkers named Scott. So Ill just say this thank you Scott for your help and thank you Safeway for being very organized although you were getting ready to do your nightly stocking my experience with your downtown Kent Safeway was good a pleasant experience.

My finace and I got to this store at 12:50am and was told they were closed. The guy locked the door and walked away. We kept trying to speak to him but he ignored us. Also he said the store closed at 12:55 but there was nothing posted about it. I worked as a PIC at a Safeway and you ABSOLUTELY had to post if hours were being changed at all.

Theyve often got good sales on meat, but they basically dont staff cashiers. Every time Ive been there in the last six months theres been a line down the aisles for the two check stands they have open, no matter the day or time of day. Expect to spend half of your visit in line.

Never gotten sick from the deli. Like most stores there is busy and non-busy times. I have no issues. They provide wipes for your cart.

This Safeway does not care about its customers. Their staffing was poor before and during the pandemic which is understandable. Its a toss up on the quality of the produce. I have noticed other Safeway in better neighborhood the store is stocked and cared for more. This Safeway is super busy and may be in need of experienced management to get it back in shape. There has always been high turn over in management. I use to spend $600-$700 a month here but started going to other locations or another store

Great neighborhood market

This is the worst Safeway ever. I come to this store becasue it is close to my work. I have been here a few times and everytime it seems to get worse. Last time I was here, one of the cashiers was assulted. Today I walk in and there isnt any carts available. I spent $135.00 dollars and the cashier was nice enough. What isnt nice is being approached by homeless people in the store asking for money. After checking out, I walked out and got a cloud of smoke in my face by the 4 employees and a few homeless people outside by the front door smoking. Why cant the employees go around the side of the building and smoke instead of having customers walking into the cloud of smoke entering the store? Do not allow the homeless people to loiter in front of the store. Safeway used to be a store I liked going to, but thier store has gone downhill over the years.
