When we went to Mattress Firm in Grand Rapids East, we were wary of a chain mattress store. However, our experience was incredible! We walked in thinking we knew so much about what we wanted (but open to something else) and Brad at Mattress Firm talked through everything with us. I am a details and science person and we were even able to get down to the science and engineering of the beds and Brad was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all my crazy detail questions without skipping a beat. To say he had patience and kindness was an understatement. We end up going to a few stores after our visit to Mattress Firm, and we ended up going back to Brad for our purchase. Mattress Firm also had many of the mattresses we were interested in actually in stock (that was not the case anywhere else) and we received our bed in days (not weeks or months!). Also, we ended up with one concern (not about the bed or service but with an accessory we bought in addition to the bed) and we phoned Brad who was able to help us out without issue. I was very impressed. Without being too cliche, we can say with certainty that Brad helped us unjunk our sleep!

We purchased a adjustable bed frame and mattress from Greg. He was great,informative and gave us his full attention.Unfortunately, this mattress at home is no where near as comfortable as it was in the store. We will have to return it, another downside is the base is nonrefundable.Greg gets 5 stars, the mattrees gets 2 stars.

We have been shopping for a while for a replacement mattress and was impressed with the selection, laytout of the store and pricing. Greg helped us out and was no pressure and just a good salesman. He cracked us up and also our kids. Give the guy a raise for sure!

Price on display was $200 cheaper than what we were charged. Seemed odd but salesperson said sorry he didn’t know why display wasn’t changed. I didn’t have time to argue because I had to get to the warehouse to pick it up. Was also surprised we didn’t receive a discount for not needing delivery and picking up our own mattress. I feel that should see at least a $100 discount. Just my thoughts.Thanks,

Really worth the trip, great selection. Mattress stores really arent places for looking though. Ask questions, listen, and compare. Staff tends to be pretty good at being helpful without being pushy, especially if youre upfront about what you want.

Dan, the store manager is the best in the business! I went in with some prior research on what kind of beds I was looking at. I sleep on my front so Dan was very helpful in going over why I might need more of a firm mattress than I would usually go for to help with my spine.
