That being said, a high performance shop like this may not always have the capability for you to walk on. As soon as you feel you need them to check out your vehicle, please call and establish an appointment like I did. They were able to get me in early next day after a phone call.I am writing this review because I truly had a positive experience here and would encourage you to give them the opportunity to be of assistance if youre still doing analysis. I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop! They are absolutely the best in the area! Honest people with great prices!! I have utilized them more than once and each time leaving out paying less than I thought I would need to prior to going in. I refuse to take my vehicles anywhere else!

I was at the Pittsburgh Paint store nearby and went to start my vehicle and it would not start. The key mechanism had broken off inside. I was able eventually pull the cylinder mechanism out and got the wife to take me to AutoZone to get a new one; however, when I went to replace it, I realized a piece had broken off inside, and I was unable to install the new one. I began to get frustrated as my windows couldnt roll up and it was about to be dark. I contemplated towing the vehicle or going out and buying a drill and Easy Out. When it rains it pours, I thought to myself. Thats when I realized, I was right next door to Ashton Automotive and Performance. I walked over, sweating from still being in my uniform from work; I asked a gentlemen standing outside if he worked there, not knowing that he was the owner. I could tell he was about to lock up and go home for the day. Luckily for me, he came over to where my car was parked and quickly assessed the situation. He went back for a drill and extractor. After sometime drilling and trying to pry it out, Ashton broke out the big guns and decided to drill all the way in and break up the smaller pieces that had some how anchored themselves into the tiny opening. After some time, he was able to break it up and get all the small pieces out. He slid in the new cylinder and guess what; it didnt start. The new key needed to be programmed. Well luckily for me Ashton knows what he is doing. He brought over his diagnosing machine and after about ten minutes he was into the cars computer. He quickly paired my new key and after the first attempt the car started right up. Thank God for Ashton Automotive and Performance being right there when I needed help. I couldnt have picked a better place to break down. Not only did Ashton fix the issue, he used his scan took to confirm what I already suspected, which is that I have a vacuum leak somewhere. After all that work Ashton never even bothered charging me, even though I was totally willing to pay and even insisted. If your someone who isnt sure where to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, look no further than Ashton Automotive and Performance. My parents had a failing alternator and needed a new one installed. Upon hearing about Ashtons automotive repair and services we chose to have them assist in the matter. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of their automotive reps, Paul. This gentleman was very professional and accommodating. My parents were needing to have their vehicle serviced ASAP due to them needing to get back on the road to California. Paul explained if we brought the vehicle in he’d do his best to get the part replaced before close of business. He called us not long after and told us the part had been replaced and the vehicle was ready for pickup. My father was very pleased with the service and how professional the staff was with us. We would do business and refer family and friends for vehicle repair services. My parents made it home safe 🙏🏾

In the past I have always taken my car to the dealer for all my repairs. However, I had a issue with two tires that needed replaced that day and my dealer was to busy for my little tire job. Had a friend recommend this place so I went to them. They were super friendly and willing to quickly get me fixed up. I will be returning to them for all my future car repairs.

I was afraid to go to car repair shops because of the fear getting ripped off. I was able to find Ashton Automotive and their reviews were pretty impressive so I decided to make an appointment with them for my car issue (will not start). They were very accomodating. They care for the costumers and very honest about the repairs. I was able to drop of my vehicle earlier than my scheduled time beacause of work. They did the diagnostics and found the cars problem. They notified me of the solution and the estimated cost which is very reasonable. After I approved of the repair, they got on to it. As soon as the repairs were completed, they called me for pick up. Since it was already close to their closing time, they even said they can wait for me to pick it up. I was able to pick my vehicle only a day after dropping it of. They even fixed a couple of my dash warning lights free of charge. Very thankful.

I towed my truck from 3 hours away to get the lifters and cam replaced on my 2012 ram 1500 because I saw their reviews and I was impressed by them. So I took it on a Thursday and it was ready by the following Monday, I couldn’t be happier with they customer service, quality and price. I drove the truck back home and it feels great. Ive thought long and hard about leaving a review of my experience at this shop. The owner and employees at the shop are personable but thats where it stops, the lack of professionalism is appalling, the amount of times I have been misinformed or lied to is uncountable, be it white lies here and there it all adds up, just because I dont say anything does not mean Im not catching them. The first time I brought my car in it took the greater side of 5 months to complete a motor swap. After 2 months of driving the car my motor blew again on the highway and I would not of taken my car back to this shop if the motor wasnt warrantied. I knew history was going to repeat itself and it did. Ashton Automotive did my oil change and informed me it was a faulty filter after first trying to tell me it was my fault because I left the oil cap off which I did not, I know a thing or two about cars, I had it off to inspect the inside of the motor after it grenaded. I understand the process took awhile to try and get the company that manufactured the faulty oil filter (which I was told was the reason as to why I lost all oil, come to find out the company said the installation was faulty and not the filter itself). This took about 2 months of waiting for a response and near 3 months of waiting for a motor. Granted they had a motor shipped that appeared to have sat in a field for years at a junkyard that had a broken intake manifold (planned to swap my old one onto it) and a snapped piece of metal that was un reparable. Any time that I would attempt to call the shop, no one would ever answer. Honestly had me wondering how they get any business when they dont pick up the phone. Their excuse was their phone is weird yet multiple times I randomly stopped in and their phone was ringing perfectly fine. I am married and me + my spouse both work so being down a car for months is extremely stressful and all I needed was an update for peace at mind. What really got me is when I finally did get my car back and shared it on face book, the owner came onto my post defending himself from the criticism on the time frame explaining that he did not have to help me. If thats the case, why do you have a warranty? I paid near 6000 dollars for my first motor from him, and it blew up, its not my fault its the shops. If you fix something for a customer and they pay you, it breaks, you fix it again its that simple. My new motor is having all kinds of codes pop up even past the ones that he told me upon pickup (I was not letting my car sit there another day) on top of everything he broke my AC right at the start of the Texas summer. I have had my car back a few weeks and thank goodness the weather has been holding out but still no word on the receival of the part. You can keep it, never again will I bring any automobile to your shop, all my work will be done at a shop that actually understands European cars. I highly recommend any euro car skip this shop, sure you want to save some money, but the work will reflect. I tried to be understanding and patient but its time to cut ties, cant help but feel my kindness was taken advantage of.

I called them as I was pulled over to see if they could help and right away they said come in. With in an hour the car was fixed and I was heading back to work. I was told by another shop I needed to replace my my engine. I was quoted almost $8,000.Took my Camaro SS 1LE to Ashton’s and they actually found the problem and fixed it. Less than $1000 and I was on my way.Ashton & Paul were both very knowledgeable and professional. They explained everything and made sure I knew exactly what was going on.I will forever be thankful I found them!

My husband brought in his SRT challenger in to get headers installed, little did we know they saw that the radiator was leaking and what looked to be the hoses as well. They installed the headers on a Tuesday and were able to take us back in on Friday for those repairs. (Since they have to order the parts) When we came to pick up the car on Friday even though they paid for new hoses, they saw how the car did not need the hoses just the radiator after all. So they did not charge for the hoses or labor like I normally see from other auto shops that are not honest. But Ashtons is great and honest all the way through. We are very appreciative of their services and affordable prices!! Great people.

Fair price and honest mechanics. I took my challenger to get some headers installed which they did an excellent job but they found my car was leaking coolant they thought it was both the radiator and hoses. They order both radiator and hoses and told me they only found that the radiator was leaking and didnt need to replace the hoses. Car runs better than ever now.

When I say these are the best and honest mechanics in the CTX I couldn’t more clear. They worked on my ram for a camshaft change, finished it in 2days and exceeded their work! They gave me the best price compared to any other mechanic and shop. Hands down professional and friendly down to earth guys and very honest!! The first automotive repair shop Ive truly ever trusted! They have done multiple jobs on my vehicle. They do not price gouge and they are honest with you. I had a $1000+ estimate on a repair from them and they told me straight up that my vehicle does not need that repair, and replaced a different part for $200, fixing my cars issue.

Worked on two of our cars and did an amazing job. Both feel like completely different vehicles now. Ashton kept in contact with us and let us know how it was going through the process. Very friendly and even though they were extremely busy, we did not end up waiting very long!

After reading so many positive reviews and reaching out to the kind gentlemen at the shop, I knew this is where is I was going. I have been to a few other shops here in Killeen and would be out of thousands of dollars if I would not have chosen Ashton’s. Have been previously told I need a whole transmission. The gentleman at Ashton’s are very knowledgeable and will not just tell you bogus repairs you need. They also specialize in Dodge repairs!! So perfect!! Took my car in and turn around time was one day. Had some decent amount of work needed. While also fixing my car the gentlemen found a critical problem with my car and fixed it. As soon as I got my car back and cranked it up I could tell the difference. My car is the quietest it has ever been since I first drove of the car lot with it. I’m so thankful for Ashton’s!! I have a 2009 Duramax leveled on much larger than factory wheels and was in need of a alignment bad. Took it to two shops prior to bringing it to Ashton and one refused to touch it and the other couldn’t even get it aligned. Brought it in to Ashton, he got it aligned and made sure it was good to drive. Immediately after leaving his shop I drove to Houston and back without a single issue. Definitely recommend Ashtons for anything you might need and I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on!

Took my 1991 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo-R in to get a brake line fabricated, and to get a brake master cylinder replaced. They did a fantastic job at both, finally no more pedal drop! Little did I know that their work would be tested later that day after I picked my daughter up from school. I was driving down the road and there was a pick up truck that pulled out in front of me at the last second, and I slammed on my brakes and went around him; barely missing him. Due to their hard work and dedication to their craft, it not only potentially saved my daughter and my own lives, but saved a classic car. Four months ago, one of our fleet vehicles had a major malfunction. We had taken the truck to a few different mechanics that all had somewhat similar diagnoses but not exactly the same and the cost ranged from $10,000 - $20,000 in repairs with most telling me the engine was blown and I would need a new one. Having still owed a significant amount on the vehicle itself we did not have the ability to pay for the repairs so the vehicle sat. It sat for 4 months; Until last week that is. Having seen my truck just sit there, Ashton was sure he could fix it and explained many things to me in great detail that I could understand. Having used Ashton Automotive to maintain our fleet for all of our servicing needs we decided to go with him on this major repair. I want to tell everybody that reads this, Ashton and his crew of mechanics were not only fully capable of the disassembly and rebuild of the diesel engine but they were able to do it at a significant savings. Eggcellent shop... They have touched all of my vehicles with full service and many repairs most shops have turned down. Turn around time I wish was instant but the jobs they were doing required parts shipments and parts replacements which I fully understand. I go nowhere else now and gold stars for everyone.

Paul was very helpful, he did his best to save me money as far as finding cheaper parts and how to reduce time for labor. He didn’t give me the run around or try to tell me the problem was something it wasn’t. They have financing which was helpful, definitely returning for future work.

I have a 2011 dodge caravan and recently the transmission went out. Ashton is highly knowledgeable about Dodge vehicles. He worked the vehicle into his very busy schedule to get us back on our way with SUPER AC!!! Ever since I had my car in the shop of Nov. 7, 2018 Have been getting the runaround about when my car will be ready. They say it will be ready one day and once you call n that day, they still talking about how it would be done by end of the day, when it obviously!! wont be. On top of that, they dont even keep me!!!updated on the status of my car. guess they too ashame to call after promising the deadline they could not deliver!!!! Im not sure where all the good reviews is coming from because as of this point Im not even sure they know what they are doing!! Giving the time frame my car has been at the shop . I dont see how yall people speak so highly of this company. My car has been in shop going on 3 weeks now!!! and I have literally been told it will be ready everyday since 2 fridays ago Here we are almost approaching 3 Fridays!!!! later and its still not ready!!! nor have they reached out!!! to say anything!!! Each time I have spoken with them is based on my initiation so please people get your story straight ...

Went to get my car fixed it took Ashton 30 seconds to know what the problem was and fixed it in less then a hour. Fast friendly and fair definitely going back if I get any future issues with my car.
