Very nice, helpful, patient sales associates. They answered all my questions, gave me the best deal possible, and a high quality pair of glasses. They didnt rush me to find a pair of frames that I liked and made me feel important and like I mattered. When it was all done and over with I got a pair of transitional progressive bifocals with all of the extras. They were priced at over $650 and I only had to pay a little over $300.

Luis was a cool dude! Got what I asked for without trying to push me to get more expensive glasses like other spots. Took his time with and walk me through to get the perfect fitting glasses.

Walk- in for eye exams for two kids.Was told the could do one now and one after lunch. While filling out forms for my kids they gave the after lunch appointment away while I stood in front of them.I walked out.I was a regular customer they weren’t nothing special they were ok.Now they’re just rude and we won’t be back.Stanton optical next to the mall took both kids as walk-ins with great on the spot service great deals on glasses too

I originally gave this store 4 stars for our visit on 9/11/20, which wouldve been 5 except the trays they give you to store your rejects and possibles is really small, which has the potential to cause confusion at the end(it did for me), but all of the staff was really great and helpful... until Theo, the general manager. He asked what I was looking for, so I told him, and he proceeded to tell me he disagreed with my reasoning for wanting what I wanted. Ok, he studied color theory in glasses, but Im not there for what HE wants, hes there for what I want.Fast forward to yesterday 9/17/20 and text messages to both my husband and I about our glasses being ready, super fast turn around which is great. The text instructs that if you ordered in store, you should schedule an appointment for pickup. I call and the associate tells me I dont need an appointment, so we go in to get them.Theo greets us at the makeshift table they have sitting just inside the store, and makes us stand there the whole time it took to get our new glasses situated so they felt ok, while my mask is fogging up my glasses and I cant even see, andwhile were feeling rushed and like we dont matter much because other people are approaching the table behind us, and Theo keeps interrupting our fittings and the issues we had to assist other people. My husband kept trying to tell him that he cant see well with his lenses, but got fed up with Theo not listening to what we were saying--Theo pretty much blew me off altogether, so we left without our issues being completely addressed.My satisfaction level with the Killeen location dropped significantly yesterday after having to deal with Theo. The only reason my rating isnt one star is because the other employees are extremely helpful, and the turnaround time was lightning fast. Its a shame that the general manager is such a customer service liability for the store.

I would not put a star at all but you have to in order to write this. I have been going here for a few years now, and loved the place. But now since the company has changed hands, they are the worst, I feel sorry for the young man who tried to help and his hands was tied. I had my eyes reexamined, bought 3 pairs of glasses, to find they stretched the frames out on one pair and the lens has a stamp across the bifocal line, the second pair the lenses have a film that makes them blurry and the bifocal seems to be in the wrong place. The 3rd pair was only for distance and safety glasses for riding my motorcycle. I have taken these glasses back multiple times, even took my old 2 pairs of glasses asked for them to put the new Rx in them to see if that would make a difference, the manager is more concerned about bragging about how he knows it all and he has been in this business for years (and ha cant be more than 22 or 23 years old)and he knows if my glasses fit and that they did not have an issue I just needed to go with them, after several visits there dealing with his arrogance, and not getting any satisfaction, I tried reaching out to cooperate for help, to not ever receive a reply or acknowledgement, and it has been months of trying to get the issue taken care of. So now I have to go to another eye glass place and spend more money to get glasses that are correct. Its a shame this place would do a loyal customer this way!

The Store Associates Lynne and Luis provide superb customer service in this store. These 2 great employees follow the guidance of CDC to clean and disinfect anything a customer has touched. Their professionalism is very much appreciated.

Just wanted to take the time to commend one of your employees. Luis was wonderful and displayed superb customer service excellence and although just visiting the mall and “browsing” various stores, I never imagined I’d want to change from EyeMart Express to Vision-works. Luis was so warm and pleasant that it made my husband and I feel important. He took the time out to answer our questions about both eyeglasses and contact lenses since I have been considering ordering contacts. Either way, my experience at your location in the mall was something that I remembered when I woke up this morning to have my cup of coffee. Brings a big smile to my face and I plan on moving all of my business to Vision Works moving forward because of people like Luis, I truly feel like a part of the family ☺️. Best experience I’ve had with any frame shop I’ve had. I worked with Luis G. He double checked all options to save me money. I went in there with enough money to buy one pair, but ended up leaving with a pair of prescription sunglasses too within my budget! A young lady named Elizabeth was so amazing and patience with helping my daughter and myself choose the right pair of eyewear. I recommend this location to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Went yesterday to buy contacts and the dude that takes temperatures at the entrance threw my prescription at my face he has brown hair and glasses hes super rude

I was recommended to go here by my husband who had his glasses made at this location a couple years ago. I was pleased to see the customer service was still great. Their lab is quick and Sam makes sure you receive the glasses you order ensuring the right fit. They also have great sales, I myself saved lots of money. I do recommend this place.

Excellent and swift service. The gentleman who assisted me was definitely on easy on the eyes which cured my astigmatism instantly and he actually donated his eyes to me which i thought was very generous. 5 stars

Jeanine Lopez was amazing. Came in due to my glasses being stretched and constantly falling off my face. She saw me immediately and made sure my glasses fit perfectly before I left the store. she was extremely pleasant and gave me a new case for my back-up glasses free of charge. My family and I all recently needed glasses, we chose to go to the Vision Works in the Killeen mall because of their hours, BUT we will continue to always use them for our optical needs due to the awesome, friendly, and helpful staff! The employees there are patient, and knowledgeable. We were helped every step of the way and they made us all feel comfortable. I honestly can’t say enough good things and i highly, highly recommend this store! The prices were very reasonable and there’s a wide selection of glasses as well.

Bought my 10 year old glasses from here. There was a huge problem. And it was diligently resolved by Theo (General Manager). These days its hard to come across personal service. Theo went above and beyond to resolve my issue with excellent customer service. I highly recommend Visionworks at the Killeen Mall. And commend this company for hiring such a understanding person. Wasnt sure about getting services here due to bad experiences in the past with other places. The representative was very friendly and a lot of help and even though it was very busy when I came in, I did not feel rushed nor felt that I waited too long to be helped. Nelda, Sam and Luis were great helping me out today! We came in last minute and were able to direct me to a local eye doctor for a prescription. We came back and selected frames and were done in about 30 minutes. We will keep coming back to this location!

EVERYBODY and I mean Everybody is so nice, helpful, and patient. I have been here several times and dealt with every single employee. No complaints. Theo, Nelda, Sam, Luis, a Latina woman (cant remember her name), and some guy that was off but helped adjusted my frames anyway.

I had my eyes checked with Dr. Sturtevant next door. It was great! Then I went to this Vision Works store and was treated exceptionally well by ALL of the amazing staff. I ordered prescription sunglasses, new line free bifocal glasses, and contacts. I am ecstatic because I love everything I purchased and best of all, I CAN SEE VERY WELL for the first time in many, many years! I live 6 hours away and will definitely be a returning customer. I am already referring people. BIG Bonus: I joined the bifocal club and was very concerned if I was going to be able to adjust. The gentleman gave me some pointers on how they work and how to use them. I never got dizzy and I can now read and grade papers without difficulty! 😎

Never had a bad experience at this store! Recently had broken my glasses and I hate wearing my contacts. I went into the store and Nelda as well as Luis helped me tremedously; reminding me that I had the protection plan which was still valid. So I go in on Sunday afternoon with my family and my prescription. When we get in there is only 1 sales associate sitting with what looked to be a customer, as Im shopping about 10 mins go by and I find the glasses I want. The sales associate is still talking to this other customer but they arent talking about business and whatever transaction they did is now over. I still havent been greeted or addressed about my purchase as we stand there and stare at the sales associate. Now annoyed we walk out. You missed out on hundreds of dollars in minutes.

I ordered 4 pairs of glasses today at the Killeen Mall. A digital progressive with transition and AR, a polarized progressive backside AR an AR reader and one without, all for the same price I would have paid at a local optometrists for just the digital progressive. KeShaun (may be spelled incorrectly, sorry.) was knowledgeable about lenses and the specials and spent a lot of time helping me find frames that fit. Dont get me wrong, I spent a lot of money, but after 35 years as an optician in another state I know that I got the best quality for a very reasonable price.

Nelda was excellent she made picking out new glasses for my very indecisive wife a breeze. She was so kinda & attentive, we will definitely be back to see her to get my next pair soon!

I purchased my glasses from a different optical in a different state, but was in desperate need of new nose pads. I was told that not only maintenance on my glasses was free even though I didnt purchase them there but was also told about a friend and family deal they are having. I will be back before the deal is over to purchase a pair of prescription sun glasses.
