This was our first experience with boarding our 6yr old Lab Duke. I was able to fully enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was being taken care of at Camp-Ruff N More. Employees kept great communication with us and I loved the report card we got half way through his stay. He played so hard and enjoyed himself so much I was afraid he wouldn’t want to leave! It was like he was on his very own vacation. We will definitely book here next vacation ♥️

We just completed our trial of Camp Ruff N More and we were very impressed. Our dogs seems to have a great day and the staff is professional, and the program is very organized. Looking forward to our vacation now that we have a safe place for the fur babies to stay!

My dog had so much fun. He needs integration with other dogs snd they said he was excellent with the counselors and the other puppies. I’m so glad to find a place that he can go for doggy daycare and play. Thank you to everyone!

We have been using Camp Ruff-N-More for several years whenever we are out of town. Our experience has been extremely positive. Our dog is eager to go in the building and happy to see me when I pick her up. I especially appreciate the new texting feature. During our recent trip staff texted me a report card and picture of my pup!

Brought my beagle/hound in for a trial run today and I couldn’t be happier. Staff was very professional, I was able to take a tour of the facility. My dog came home happy and tired from playing with her new friends. Would 100% recommend to a friend or family member.

I brought my new puppy for a trial day to get him more comfortable with other dogs. The staff was wonderful to work with him since he was very timid and shy. I can’t wait to see him adjust as he grows and matures with other people and animals.

Loki had a blast on his first day there. Came home and crashed immediately. He’s definitely going back! Love it!

Gracies first visit was even better than expected. Her mom was fully informed about the operation and shown around. I noticed every dog that arrived was straining at the leash to get through the door for a fun time. People there are very responsible. Will certainly be many more visits for Gracie.

My dog, Fenway, is diabetic, requiring insulin 2x day. Camp Ruff n More has been our favorite place for 8 years. Being able to leave Fenway with people she trusts, who are willing and able to accommodate her special needs is so comforting. ❤ CAMP RUFF N MORE!!!

Boone loved his day at Doggie day care! He’s a standard poodle puppy and it’s a great way for him to get to play while we are at work. He was worn out that evening. We even got to peak in on him when we arrived and he was living his best life:) We will definitely be taking him back weekly.

I recently started sending my 6-mo old Frenchie to Camp Ruff-n-More and he’s had a great time so far.The staff has been very responsive and helpful getting him registered and also booking boarding services. It’s a great value and helps so much with his socialization. He can get out all of his puppy energy while playing with friends, I can’t recommend daycare enough!

They take pride in their work and truly care about the pups and it shows! Its obvious how great of a job they do just watching how excited my dog gets as soon as we pull in to the parking lot. I even think he likes being at camp more than home, lol! Highly recommend!

I had three of my dogs stay there twice in the past two months and they were fantastic to work with. They were very caring towards them and even learned their personalities. My dogs were excited to go there. Very nice people and they take great care of them. Would definitely recommend.

My very high energy boxer mix seems to enjoy it and goes for 5 hours a couple of times a week for some doggie playtime..

They were very professional and when I needed to extend another day Jeff was very accommodating and made it very easy to make it happen.I will definitely use them again in the future.

We boarded our two retrievers. They are exhausted which tells me they had a great time. We got them an exit bath and they look and smell great! The staff is attentive and did a great job with my girls! Wouldn’t hesitate recommending the camp to anyone looking for a safe, fun environment for your fur baby

We have been coming to Camp Ruff-N-More for almost 5 years, and there’s nowhere else we will take our dogs. We have 3, and they all act like they like camp more than being at home! They start wagging and barking when we pull in and are all smiles when they return home. We have done day camp and boarding, and are super happy with both. We have never had a bad experience and continue to recommend them to anyone with dogs. Thank you to the staff at Camp Ruff-N-More for your excellent care of our babies and friendly check in/out.

Always a fun time at Camp Ruff-N-More. We know our dogs are in good hands when we go on vacation. Wish they would post more daily pics on Facebook so we can see our dogs but in the end, they always love going there. Whether it’s for daycare or for a week, they are always pulling us inside the doors!

The dogs always have a great time, I feel super comfortable leaving them with the wonderful staff. Everyone who works there really loves dogs and they treat them just like their own. They are always very accommodating with pickup and drop off, and are glad to see me and my dogs when I show up. Very dedicated, wonderful staff, cant recommend enough.

Camp Ruff-N-More takes wonderful care of our dogs and they always come home tired!

We boarded our lab for a week here. We called and checked up on her and never once did they tell us our dog got bit. They always said she was doing great. When we came to pick her up, her tongue was pale and she’d lost tremendous amount of weight. We thought it was odd since the bag of food we send with her was all gone. We asked again before we left how she did. Once again we were told she did great. It was when we were home that we noticed the bite mark, which was still pretty fresh. This place DO NOT know how to handle dogs properly and have obviously lied to us. We wouldn’t have been so upset if they had communicated early on about the situation. Please go do your research thoroughly before handing your dogs over to strangers. The people seemed nice enough and even gave us a voluntary tour of the place. All of these things seem like good signs, but be more careful in your search for your boarding to avoid experiences like ours.

Nelly LOVES going to Camp and I am always completely confident that she’s well cared for while I have to be away from her. I also love that they post pictures on Instagram so I can see her playing with her friends. I also really appreciate that she’s not in a crate all day.

We boarded for two weeks during our move and they did an incredible job taking care of them! Highly recommended!

This is such a great place! Our dog LOVES his visits to school. Its great to not have to kennel him for long periods of time, and the staff are super friendly and love spending time with them too! Well keep going until the end of time!

My puppy loves it here! The staff is amazing and I’m always confident my pup is safe and happy. I took away one star only because it’s a little expensive. But I’m very happy with services.

Our puppy had her trial day at camp ruff-n-more and we can tell she had a blast! She came straight home and went to sleep. Can’t wait to take her back. We’re glad we have somewhere safe to take her now so we don’t have to keep her crate while we’re working.

Just pick up our 7 month German shepherd and we called a little before we got there to say we was coming and it looked like they just rushed to give her a bath. She was still pretty wet and when we asked if they could dry her off more the woman looked annoyed. So we got her home and go to dry her off and she starts yelling when we touch the bottom of her paws. She has cuts all over the bottom, I know they said there might be a little ruff housing going on but didn’t expect her to be hurting like that. Will not be going back.

The staff are always extra friendly and accommodating to any needs of your furry children. Excellent place for daycare or boarding! My dogs love to go there and that speaks for itself. The staff love your dogs as much as you do.

The whole time Ive been coming here Ive had 1 bad trip. Every other time my dog seemed like she enjoyed it shes never been hurt or got sick. Ive never had an issue with the girls or the manager. However there was one time when a different boy was working she had some poop on her feet. But he offered the bath her for free but I was in a hurry. Overall I think the day care is good my dog seems happy going in and leaving. Good for them to exercise. Shes never had any problems as far as illness or been hurt here. I would recommend it I mean I trust my dog there

Every single person at Camp Ruff-N-More is caring and compassionate and professional. We have had dogs there daily for years. Never ever have we had one complaint. They care about your pet personally as if it were their own.

Both of my dogs love it! The staff is very kind and I trust them to take good care of my boys. Craft days are the best!

My Molly goes to Camp Ruff-N-More at least once or twice a week, sometimes more often. My husband and I are older and not able to run and be as active with her as she needs to be. Without a fenced yard, we are thrilled to have a place like this to bring our puppy. We feel confident that she gets the workout she needs when shes at Camp.When I ask if she wants to see the puppies, she runs to our front door, knowing g shes going to Camp. She also knows when we drive past camp because she does the pacing in the backseat and whining.Jeff, Jen, Haylee and the other employees, Ive met, but dont know the names have been so kind and appear loving to Molly. She has let me know in the past if she doesnt like someone. She loves all the people there so far and I truly trust them to take care of her while shes in their care . We will leave her with them overnight when we need to be away.

My pup loves coming to Camp Ruff-N-More. He always gets excited to visit & I think he barely misses us when we go on vacation. Camp is like his vacation as well. The staff take such good care of him & I know how happy he is to stay because when we bring him by he cannot wait to start playing.

My 4 year old beagle has been going to the Kingsport Ruff-N-More since she was 6 months old and we have never had an issue. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they always take great care of Meeka. They go out of their way to make sure new dogs are properly socialized and closely supervise them during play time. The staff really cares about the animals and it shows in their high quality of care and attention. Keep up the great work!

My dog, Gus, seems to love coming to day camp! I wish we lived closer, I would bring him more often! Once he gets back in the car, he usually sleeps the entire drive home!

I left my sheepadoodle here for a week while we were away. He was well taken care by an awesome staff. I would recommend this facility. I had no worries while I was away. He stayed at the Kingsport location, but has previously stayed in JC both locations are awesome. It’s nice to have a place I feelcomfortable with.

Our dog loves to go to Camp Ruff-N-More. He is only 18 months old and enjoys being able to run with the rest of the campers. The staff is always friendly.

We started taking our dog here at the beginning of the spring. He loves going. When he hears camp he starts jumping with excitement. The staff is wonderful. Highly recommended ))

Very nice facilities for your doggo so you will not have to feel guilty about leaving town. Your pet will get great exercise and care.It does have an odor, probably not much that can be done about that, given the volume of dogs they serve.

Great place!My dogs were there for a week. I have 2 Yorkies and they stayed together in a suite. When I picked them up they looked great and seemed happy even though of course excited to see me. The last place I boarded them, when I picked them up they had dried poop all over them and they seemed traumatized. So glad I found this place and would recommend to others.Janet Batts

Our dog came back clean and happy at a fair price

Prices are going up March 1. Overall I like the facility. Our two dogs really enjoy the day camp with the other puppies. Its nice that they temperament test before allowing admittance. Our 7 month old puppy we adopted almost a month ago was under socialized and this facility has helped quite a bit. Shes a large puppy, already 55lbs, so when she doesnt want to go somewhere because shes scared, it can be quite difficult. This is one of the few places she heads into without any resistance. I only rate it 4 stars because the pictures they advertise with on their website are extremely old and the facility isnt in as good of condition as they portray and the fact that the prices are going up.

Last year we boarded our dog at Camp Ruff-N-More when we were visiting family in the area. The man who checked us in couldnt have been nicer and showed us where Corky would live for 3 days. He apologized that it hadnt yet been cleaned from the last border and given what we experienced when picking him up I wonder if thats the kennel he was actually in. That morning we came to get him, the employee slipped in the door to the kennel area through a space I wonder how he fit - clearly he was afraid wed see something he didnt want us to. Corky seemed to be fine and we came home to Georgia. When we arrived home he drank water like he hadnt had a drink in days!! We both felt guilty that we hadnt offered him water on the 4 hour trip home - but I have to wonder if they kept his water bowl full.

2nd time i have had an issue with the kingsport location. I specifically asked them twice to cut both my dogs nails after 1 week away. I got there and they said they gave 1 of my 2 dogs a bath ? Why would i ask for 1 dog and not both? I never asked for a bath and asked them twice to cut their nails on 2 different days. Okay they didnt charge me for the bath great but my German Sheppard comes out and looks terrible! She wasnt even groomed after the bath. They kept apologizing and going into more depth than i asked. I eventually asked the gentlman to let it go that we had flown the whole day prior and we just want our dogs. We will not be back if they cannot schedule properly (busy week or not), groom my dog, or better yet answer the phone after 2 days of trying to pay the remainder of my bill. Get it together. The johnson city location has minimal issues.

What an extremely judgmental business. Just because you have a pitbull or pit mix you cant bring your dog here. Thats like saying if youre black you cant stay in a hotel. I feel so bad for these dogs. Never go to the business.
