I went here a few weeks ago and it was the first time Id been to an eye doctor in about 20 years. Dr. Short was extremely kind and helpful. I would suggest this place to anybody who is looking to get their eyes checked and/or get a new pair of glasses.

I’ve never once have had a bad experience here. The office staff is so wonderful & welcoming! I highly recommend Dr Short & Dr Henderson, you can tell they care about patient interaction & answering any questions you may have. I will drive 2 hours every time just to get this kind of care!

This was not your typical look at the screen and which line looks clearer eye test. This was my first time going and I was very impressed. They ran test that I have never had run on my eyes before and were very thorough in explaining all of my questions and the test. I would go there even if my vision insurance did not cover them.

Little to no wait time. State of the art equipment. Ask for Dr. Short-she is great!

The Lens Crafters at West Town Mall have been wonderful with me and my daughter. They have been so patient and willing to follow up with me as I adjust to my ever changing vision (Ive hit that awkward middle age where my eyes seem to change everyday). Dr. Steven Smith has been my eye physician for many years and I am so grateful for his care. His staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. His high tech options at the vision center are amazing and Ive always been blessed with a very positive experience. Dr. Smith takes his time making sure that you understand your reports and that you get the best possible care. I would highly recommend these eye professionals to anyone that is looking for a new eye doctor. They are the best!! :-)

I thought this was a wonderful place everybody was punctual and pleasant. The check in and pre screening was remarkably painless. The optometrist took the time to explain the how and they why of the additional test that they were doing as well as answer my many questions about choosing the right contacts. Things where explained in a simple manner and all my options where presented. I found her to be incredibly helpful throughout the process and quite knowledgeable.

Service was great! They cleaned everything really well and I was in out in no time.

The staff was great. I was in and out in just under an hour. But in that hour they were so thorough. Dr. Henderson was amazing, she explained everything in such detail. I will be keeping my business here.

This is my second exam with Dr. Carlson & Associates. They have state of the art equipment and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The doctors are very prompt and helpful. This visit I was sent home with contact lenses. They gave me samples of monthly wear and daily wear. They made sure I could put them in and remove them properly before I left the office and they encouraged me to contact them if I had any issues or questions. I highly recommend them.

After many years of using this optometrist my husband and I experienced, this year, a REQUIRED dilation or eye imaging (which is an additional cost) in order to get our updated prescription for glasses and contacts. This was not explained to us while scheduling the appt. When we refused we were told this is a new policy and required. As a nurse and my husband a physician we know that this is not required for an eye exam and definitely a REVENUE GENERATOR. I spoke to the practice manager and passed along our concerns and was told it is a new policy to assure eye health. I asked her could we not sign a waiver taking responsibility for our own eye health to just get a prescription and if we are concerned about eye health we can actually see an ophthalmologist to evaluate our eye health and she stated that was not an option. I then sent my husband to Walmart to get an eye exam, he was seen within 30 minutes without being dilated and received his prescription by a very lovely Optometrist who said they do not force people to be dilated. I will not return to a practice that forces procedures on their clients as a revenue generator. People who don’t know any better are being taken advance of.

My eyes were checked by OD Jacquelyn Short, she is very kind doctor and she checked my eyes the whole nine yards. I have been to many eye doctors but she seems to have more knowledge than anyone else I have seen, very professional and answered all my questions without hesitation. She will be the only doctor to check my eyes from now on. Thank You Jacquelyn....
