I visited the Turkey Creek location and Im not sure of the doctors name, he was different than the last time, but he was great. I went in for my annual exam and he explained everything before he did it and why it was important and then he let me know what he saw and what that meant. He explained all the results of his findings and the changes to my prescription and possible causes. He was very pleasant and wore a mask the whole time. I have been going to this location for years and their service keeps getting better. They always work with me too to get the best deal and most for my money even if I go above what my insurance will pay. If you need new glasses or just an eye exam, I highly recommend using the Vision Works at Turkey Creek.

In and out. I visited Visionworks and saw Dr. Farmer. Dr. Farmer is thorough, incredibly detailed, professional, and prompt. The staff is equally awesome. Im not from the area and dreaded the idea of driving back to my home state for vision care. I suffered without glasses for weeks. Dr. Farmer perfected my prescription and all is well.

I needed new glasses. Having just moved to Knoxville, I had no idea where to go and find them either. After an extensive search I found myself at Visionworks on Parkside Drive where I met Michael who gave me an honest opinion about what I had chosen to try on and helped me decide on the perfect frames. Next Anthony took all my measurements and ordered my prescription information. When I went in to pick them up I met Chad who fitted and adjusted my new glasses perfectly and gave me instructions on how to care for them and told me I could come back every three months for my new glasses to be adjusted. Gentlemen, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and professionalism. If you are in need of vision care please consider this group...I can guarantee you wont be disappointed! I wont go anywhere else. Im a customer for life.

I LOVE this place. I woke up and couldnt find my contacts so I called around until I reached here and they were able to take walk ins. I was so appreciative and the attention to care, southern hospitality, and FAST service (under a hour) I was able to get a contact lense exam for 119! Unfortunately, they didnt have my prescription. So I have to order it offline. But excellent service and Im so happy I had a female ophthalmologist!

I had a very good eye exam and picked out frames that Im very happy with, plus took advantage of their buy one, get one deal to have prescription sunglasses with the same frames. Sunglasses will take a little longer, but that doesnt bother me at all. My old, pulverized glasses had to go and now Im in such better shape having visited these great folks at the Turkey Creek Visionworks!

I’ve tried private optometrist offices and several different places and this is the best experience I’ve had by far! They were extremely efficient, and everyone was professional and friendly!

The optometrist was very thorough. He took his time fitting my contacts. I have an astigmatism and he took the time to make sure I had the correct pair of contacts for each eye before I left. Ive been wearing contacts for years and he was the first person to put that much effort into making sure I was happy before I left his office. The staff in the front were just as patient and helpful while I picked out new glasses.

Went in to purchase new glasses for my wife and myself. This store was getting a second chance after making our glasses wrong 3 years ago. So we walked in and there was one couple ahead of us. We were first told that our insurance was not available, even after giving my number multiple times. Then after picking out glasses and sat down to be measured, we were ignored for others walking in after us. The technician was actually sitting with us got up and started helping others without even a second thought to the people in front of him. This is very poor customer service. Both technicians were rude.

Super friendly staff and very professional from scheduling of appointment to frame selection. Were able to squeeze in my husband while I was getting my eye exam. We were very impressed with the level of customer service. Highly recommend!

Chad (Optician) was patient/kind while helping me pick out my frames, explaining my options, helping me get the best value for my money. Optometrist, Dr. Erwin Quirand, is very thorough, exceptional in his professionalism & care. They all took the time to explain & answer all my questions. I never felt rushed with anyone. Highly recommend as quality eyecare. Can’t say enough nice things about everyone.

The optometrist took her time with my exam which assured me that she wanted the correct prescription for my needs. The support staff were friendly and helpful with frame/lens selection and as always the total price was fair.

After 2 visits multiple employees claimed they didn’t have our insurance information on file, contradicting what was confirmed over the phone. After asking them multiple times to look it up they magically found it. Our experience was very frustrating to say the least. Very unprofessional atmosphere and our family will not be returning.

It has gotten to the point that its like buying a used car. A lady at this store helped me after my exam, and if I hadnt know exactly what my insurance paid on certain things, I would have been charged over 300 dollars. After I brought up what my insurance would pay and how much I would pay for a certain add on, I asked to see a breakdown of the charges. Oh we dont have that was her reply. When I left, I felt like I had been ripped off, and all they cared about was selling me the most expensive add ons they could. No regard for what I actually wanted or needed. Definitely will not be back.

Many time slots available. I was late, but phoned in during traffic to let them know. They rolled with it, and even though I was twenty minutes late, they let me keep the appointment. COVID-19 protocols in place; paper masks provided too. Professionally welcomed in and pre-tested. Pre-testing done with 4 up to date machines. Included a retinal scan. Doctor saw me immediately after. Very professional, inspired confidence, patient with me requesting to go back to lense #1 again, lol. Also worked very hard to figure out what kind of contact lense would work for my extreme astigmatism with near sightedness and age related reading issues. My only complaint is that the person assigned to help me with picking out frames abandoned me and so after 30 minutes I just sat down and waited for him - in vain - for 15 minutes. Someone else saw me finally gathering my stuff to leave and asked if I had questions she could answer. I asked could I just leave, or did I need to pay something? That got everyones attention. She had another gal work the register. This gal did not like my insurance because it is hard to figure out on their new (2 week old) computers. So visit was initially wonderful, but sour at the end.

Staff was excellent! My whole experience was excellent! I was greeted at the door as soon as i walked in! They walked me through every step of the process. The Doctor was very patient and explained my eye exam pictures in detail to me. Both the gentleman that worked with me were very professional and knowledgeable. I have found my vision care and will continue to be back! I highly recommend Visionworks in Turkey Creek!!!

Dr Mark was pleasantly professional. I was seen right away and ordered two new pairs of glasses with the buy one get one free discount. No one tried to influence me to get higher priced frames and they made sure they ordered everything I wanted in my new specs. Looking forward to seeing better soon!

I went in there for a eye exam, it was great fast and i loved the doctor. HOWEVER, when i got my glasses there were very very loose, which is a quick fix right? NO, the lady that did mine had never done it before and even said and i quote “This is my first time ever doing this, i haven’t even taken the class for it yet” and i understand she’s learning, but when all the other co workers were just sitting on there phone not doing anything???? unacceptable. i paid 300+ for these glasses. And for them to be crooked right WHEN i get them??? AND still loose!? This was the worst experience i have ever had at a eye appointment. Will only back to hopefully get these glasses fixed by someone that actually knows what they’re doing. It’s very very frustrating, because i planned to walk out that door with nice glasses. Very upset.

I have been getting glasses since I was 10 and have always gone to one person when I lived in Chicago, moving down here I was skeptical about a bigger business being my primary eye doctor however vision works changed my mind! I moved here three years ago and they have been my go to, they always some sale going on in my favor as I always need new glasses and the staff at both locations are so friendly and there’s no hidden unexplained costs! I recommend them to others whenever I can!

Micheal Oakes went above and beyond to insure that our daughter got her glasses today in less than 45 minutes even though they had a lot of back orders but he still insured that she didnt have to go back home with broken frames. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy glasses and will definitely be using them for all our future purchases of glasses and contacts. 💯% satisfied with our visit today!!!

OUTSTANDING. I was greeted immediately when I walked in, he explained how the store was set up and what promotions they had then I was left to look around. No pressure. I picked out a pair of frames and in less time than they said it would take I walked out with a great pair of glasses at a very competitive price. Both my wife and I shopped separately at this Visionworks, both of us getting exams and glasses. Both of us wound up feeling like wed been to a used car dealer. Both of us were clear going in that we wanted to take advantage of our vision insurance benefits and nothing more.In the exam, we were put in front of three machines and told there were optional (extra cost) tests we could do; it was confusing whether these tests were necessary or covered, and we both declined. In my wifes case, she was given a contacts exam without being warned that it would incur an additional expense not covered by the insurance plan.When getting the glasses, I asked for exactly what I wanted: brown tint, polarized, plastic. Upon reviewing my receipt later, I discovered that I was charged for back side anti reflective.My wife was asked about an array of lens options, her reply to which was lets just start with what my plan covers. The employee insisted on ringing up a number of additional lens options (AR coating, polycarbonate, etc.) just so she could see the price. She was pressured into buying extra frames to make sure she didnt lose the benefit.Ultimately we were both constantly being sold things we didnt want and had to work to get just the frames and lenses we wanted and that our plan covered. The process felt intentionally confusing and pressured. Will not return.

Had a contact lens exam and my son had an eyeglasses exam. The exam started prior to our scheduled appointment time and both the doctor and staff were extremely professional. I would use them again for my vision needs.

Wife and I both got glasses at this location about three years ago, spent almost $400. Went in to have an exam this week. When the pre-test was done, I did not hear anything about the third test being optional. I expressed to the doctor while doing the actual eye exam that my new insurance would not cover the extra for this digital picture of the interior of eye. I felt as if I was ignored because when I returned to check out I had been charged the extra $30. They would not deduct this charge. Customer service is just that, service to the customer. Is $30 worth that customer not returning and telling ten of their friends what a bad experience they had. By the way, I paid but wil not returnEdit: After speaking to Michael, customer rep, apologized for the incident and have been refunded the extra charge. I am satisfied with the outcome.

We spent over 30 minutes in the store never was greeted, never acknowledged and the staff was having personal conversations at the back desk amongst themselves. Although we walked through the walls ourselves and found a few we would have liked we walked out bc we didnt want to spend our money somewhere it wasnt wanted. Fyi no one was in the store at all!! Maybe for the first 5minutes there was there one family. First rule of customer service always acknowledged the customer.

The doctors were very good and professional but when I went to get my frames the cost was very high and come to find out they were out of network. They told me I was in network but that was not true. I went to a different location and got almost the same frames for much less. I will not use them again.

All great. I question why Doctor asked me if my sons pupils need to be dilated but disnt reallt explain why he diesnt feel it was neccessary. I found out that its to look for bigger issues overall and that especially in children they dont always do it.

Helped me as far as my old glasses broke in the store and I need special lenses due to my stigmatism and they were able to figure out a way to get me a pair of glasses so I can see. We actually left because they took three walk-ins who came in right before our appointment (for which we were 15 minutes early.) Twenty minutes AFTER our appointment was scheduled, the receptionist told us she had just started working on entering into the computer the paperwork wed turned in 40 minutes earlier, and that after that was done, wed see the doctor. NOPE. If you give preferential treatment to walk-ins over those who took the time to schedule an appointment, just dont take appointments. Abysmal experience, and we didnt even see the doctor. Go anywhere else.
