Great ice cream and incredibly friendly staff!!

When I went to pick up my daughters Birthday Party cookie cake, they couldnt find it, then couldnt even find the order. When I looked in my recent call history to see if I ordered from the correct store, the worker told me she didnt know if that was their store phone number, she doesnt get paid enough to know that, and told me to Google it.. (I had called the correct store) They were very unprofessional when I was clearly in a bind. I will not go back to the Knoxville Turkey Creek location.

Truly hate to complain, but this was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had. Not only was the icing not done how I ordered it (chocolate base with white writing), but the grad hat had no tassel. It was messily done and off center so bad. It also appears as though the cookie may be overbaked. After ordering cookie cakes for many, many years for many occasions, this may be my last purchase with Great American Cookie. My youngest childs graduation is a little less sweet thanks to this experience. I really hope somehow your company can rectify this experience.Ive contacted the general franchise customer service and hope they take a look at our cake, so that hopefully no one else has to go through this on their most special of days.For a kid that is top 2% and valedictorian, I was hoping to be able to do much better for his special day. I would appreciate someone contacting me about this.

Great American Cookies are so delicious, they have the best cookie cakes.My two sons enjoy eating the cookie slices with their favorite frosting on top.I like the cookie sandwiches and the app, to earn more cookies rewards program.

I’ve ordered several cookie cakes from this location, the cakes are always exactly as ordered and tasty. In my experience, the service has always been friendly and quick. Will definitely order more in the future, and recommend to others.

I needed some help with coming up with a design; Sydney was so helpful! I told her what the bride likes and she came up with an amazing design! The person that did the actual work did an amazing job also! I will defiantly be doing back here for every cookie cake!

This location never answers the phone and always has kids running it with terrible customer service and lack of care. They were almost completely sold out of cookies five hours before they closed with no intention of making more. They are always out of cookie cake by the slice and just don’t seem to think it’s strange that they are out of cookies at a COOKIE PLACE!? Lol. What the heck? The one worker working the counter said someone had come in earlier that morning and bought four dozen cookies…we arrived ar 5pm and they were open until 10pm. So you are telling me they aren’t making anymore cookies five hours before they close?! What a joke. This place also makes it impossible to contact them!

I usually love Great American Cookie, however, this location was gross. The employees were extremely unprofessional. One looked as if she had came straight from the gym🤢 There were hardly any cookies at 5pm on a Saturday. We observed for only a a few moments before we decided to get the heck out of there. My husband & I were in complete shock over how gross the store was & the level of unprofessionalism we witnessed amongst the employees in less than 60 seconds. 🤢

We picked up a cookie cake today for my sons birthday. We asked for a ninja on the cake and happy birthday, Dylan. I guess we should have been more specific. The cake we picked up said exactly that. It read, “a ninja, Happy Birthday, Dylan!” It’s definitely not what we had expected as we had wanted an image of a ninja but it will, undoubtedly, taste delicious and it gave us a good laugh. Next time I will make sure I emphasize exactly what I want.

I ordered a cake for my Wife for her Birthday and the next day they lost the order and cake and after arguing with the manager for a good 15 minutes about how I wanted my money back the SOB had the audacity to say he couldn’t due to Company policy... after losing the cake and the order and not to mention they lost the cake my Wife ordered for me on my birthday just back in September. The employees were rude and the Manager was rude as well. I will never ever buy a cake from these crooks ever again! Lesson learned the second time. I can’t believe they get paid to be this incompetent!!

Cookies were good. But $7 for 4 cookies was a bit overpriced.

I normally love GAC but this sad excuse of a cake was extremely disappointed. This was suppose to be a horse and police badge. Unfortunately I was not the one to pick the order up, instead my daughter was left guessing what her side of the surprise cake was suppose to be. If you are unable to fulfill an order you pick up the phone and call the customer! The border was a sorry excuse of decorations as well!

Overpriced unimpressed with the cookie cake but the ice cream waffle cone was to die for!

Last night poor service rude staff the mod was young rude and unfriendly. The only thing I ask for was to speak to a manager about the cake that was done and she could not do that. There was a man paying for his items and they took his cash not ringing him up and put in pocket. What are you running for a business. I live out of town and drove 45 mins to get a sloppy cake. Never will I come back or give a good review on this place.

I selected one star because I had to select at least one to proceed. I dont know who runs this location but it is a JOKE! I should have learnt my lesson when they gave me the wrong birthday cake for my son. But no, I go back to pick up cookies and (1st) the sign on the door says cash only. I get that sometimes the machine messes up but then the next thing - not one but 4 employees stood there with talking & having a good time all while I stood at the register and no one bothered to help me. I stood there and watched a girl make someone an ice cream cone, he came and stood beside me to pay and she said no no dont so he proceeds to throw the money at her and she puts in pocket. Someone needs to retrain them or hire new employees!

My husband one othe customer and I waited 10 minutes before anyone came out to help us. An employee in the back saw us twice waiting went to the back again and then finally came out front to help. The door was open, cookies were laying out in the open and flies were flying around the building. The quality of the 2 cookie cakes we bought looked rushed. I would not recommend going her for anything. I was very disappointed.

Good dessert place!Its ran by high school age kids so sometimes requires a little bit of patience.Very popular/busy on summer evenings.Always good deals on cookies!

Poor Ownership

Just don’t go to this branch. The cookies are still good (if actually made) but the customer service is horrendous. And my recent experience was not with a high schooler or college student (at least not a young one). Ordered a birthday cake online(which was probably my first mistake looking at other reviews). Went to pick it up with my son. Wasn’t there. they said they didn’t have the order. Waited. Then I had to ask if they could make another or refund. Told me it would take 3 hrs to get it to me. Asked for refund. They were $6 short the refund. Asked for the difference they said that was their store price. Asked if they could compensate with free cookies then to equal $6. Asked for order number again. They found it in their system and got me a refund. (Found it in there system and yet they never got it. Hmm). Of course my 4year old son has been nice a quiet whispering to him self “cookie,cookie,cookie”. I now have to tell him no cookies due to a mistake. Of course he cries. Not a tantrum just a sad cry and “why!?” Does the lady say sorry for the inconvenience, or sorry we hope you come back, or I hope your day goes better so sorry about our system messing up on your birthday cake. Or even sorry child have this small cookie on us for messing up your cake. Nope just stared at me like “Go away why are you still here?”Never going back there again. Don’t order online.

Ordered cookie cake a week before a birthday party. Arrived to pick up the cake on the date and time specified only to discover it had not even been started. Had already paid and was not even offered a refund or different cookie cake. Just had to stand around and wait.

Cookies and milk. What could be better? How about Cookies and Ice Cream!? When you walk out of this place youll surely be smiling. Premium cookies and top shelf ice cream.

We went on Saturday night 2 hours before they closed. We came in from out of town and stop each time we come through. The cookie section had just been cleaned out. We asked if more cookies were going to be made since there were 2 hours to go. We were told maybe. I am not a child asking for a sleepover. Im an over weight mother who wanted peanut butter cookies! I was ready to pay good money and they lost a sale! We took our business to Sokol ad instead.

Went to this store at 8:20 to buy a dozen cookies for my family to enjoy while we watched a movie. The store closes at 9 but the shelves were empty. There were lots of cookies on cooling racks. So I asked for those. The disrespectful employee said, No, those are for tomorrow. What the heck does that mean??? They dont bake them fresh each day? I said well I guess we wont be buying anything and the employee said, OK, fine! No Im sorry for your inconvenience and the waste of time and gas. I will never go back to this pathetic store. The previous reviews sound the alarm. The closing bell for this establishment will surely be ringing soon. How pathetic!

Fast, good food, great service friendly staff.

Just left this pathetic excuse for a cookie/ice cream place. It was 9:30 pm. The hours posted on the front window says they close at 10:00 pm. I didnt realize we werent in EST zone. Not only were the cookie shelves completely bare, but my husband and I walked aimlessly around the tiny shop trying to figure out WHY. Were they just robbed? Was the oven broken? No. No, the problem was the young child behind the counter was making googly eyes at some eye catching customer. Couldnt even inform PAYING customers of what the problem was. I left completely unfulfilled, doozie-less, and full of unanswered questions.

Asked for a cookie to be made, as it was late and the already made doozies had been sitting out and have a tendency to be hard and crunchy. The girl was annoyed and very rude after nicely being asked. In fact, she would not finish the sale, and, when we left, her and her coworker began laughing and talking about it. Extremely unprofessional!

I had ordered 2 cakes both for birthdays 3 weeks apart. The first one was for my parents around the second week of December. The cake was missing the balloon decorations I asked for. Then, I picked up one for my sons 18th birthday yesterday afternoon. Did not realize until later on that the cookie cake itself was way undercooked. Was very floppy and not firm. All I could think about was Salmonella poisoning. The only good thing was the icing. Also, it was supposed to be a square cake not a circle cake.As to summarize. I will not be giving them any more of my business. I do not want to pay that kind of money for subpar cakes. If they cannot get it right the second time, something is really wrong. The staff really needs to get there act together. Learn how to take orders. Geeeeeezz. What has happened to customer service and being a good listener nowadays? Are there really no standards anymore. Really disappointing .

Refused to let me order a cookie cake several days in advance or at all. This location said they dont have enough cookie dough??? At a cookie store. Then told me that if I wanted it I could drive to west town mall because they are better at it. Which means the $200 + a month I spend here for parties etc, I will take somewhere else that actually appreciates or wants my business. Who refuses a customer to order a cookie cake at a cookie store??? Unheard of.

On the business day of December 14th approximately around 7:40pm I purchased cookies from here there were three guys with their entire behinds hanging out of their pants one come out in a apron scratching his private area and the smelled of marijuana They were so under the influence they were making ice cream for themselves on the ice block before serving customers they rang a lady up before me for almost 15 cookies and told her she could pay Tomm this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a business period. I suggest the owner get their old employees back as I was a frequent customer now I will never go back between the unprofessionalism, sanitation problems and over all experience.

Staff is great... Management is poor...No standard in the preparation of making your icecream. High possibility for your order to be mixed with privious order, because the service where they prepare your order is not cleaned...

My husband picked up the cookie cake I ordered online, we opened it at the restaurant when it was time to sing happy birthday and was embarrassed the cake was only half decorated! They sold us an unfinished cake!

I purchased a cookie cake for a birthday party. I had called on a Tuesday and pre-ordered the cake. I asked if they could put mater on the cake and person said he wasnt for sure but would call his manager to make sure and call me back. He called me back and said that they could do it but it had to be done on Friday or Saturday because the best designer worked those days and it had to be ordered on a pan. I agreed and placed my order. I also asked price and he said $31.98 with tax. I called Saturday at 11am when they opened to see when it would be ready. They didnt have my order down so I had to re-order my cake. Then when we went to pick it up it was $42.98. Also, on the cake they moved the mater because they placed it wrong. Also, we had asked for no white icing and there was white icing on the cake.I also went back into the store after we looked at the cake in the car and the manager on duty didnt want to do anything other than give me cookies which we already got.I felt like this was unexceptable and bad bussiness.I did give 2 stars because after 2 weeks of calling over and over again and multiple emailing I did get a refund. But, I would still never go back to this Cookie Company. And, the manager was extremly rude when giving me the refund.
