Taste wise, this place is pretty great! i love their cookies a lot. however, the way this store is managed seems pretty bad. i ordered cookies once off their app at 10:30 and didnt get them until after 1 am even though the tracker said it would only take about 30-40 minutes. i called around 12 and asked if my order was going to come soon and they responded saying they had the order right in front of them but were out of the ice cream i wanted so i had to pick a different flavor. which is fine except i wish they had let me know that earlier without me having to call them. when the cookies come at 1 am one of my cookies is the wrong flavor (it was still delicious so whatever). i just was disappointed that i had to stay up so late just for sum cookies when i expected to go to sleep before midnight that night

I want to say that I love insomnia cookies. However, ive been so disappointed recently. I believe they’ve been closed for the past couple of days. However, you can still order cookies online or through ordering apps. When you show up to pick up the cookies there is no one there. There is no sign. All the lights are turned off. I was able to get a refund, but there needs to be more communication with this issue. It was only 6pm when I ordered them.

I placed a delivery order, they said they came by to deliver it, but she didn’t give me 30 seconds before she left to go back to the store with my cookies. I walked to the store to get them and the lady there said they couldn’t help me because they close at 8, even though it was 7:50. I understand they are short staffed, but I just wanted my cookies.

Fun little cookie place on the Cumberland strip. Not an overwhelming selection but thats ok given that everything was great. The cookie and a scoop combo is a decent little deal.. getting the cookie sandwich with the scoop in the middle was a mistake one of us made.. just a bit too big as a post meal snack.

Oh sweet lord. I travel to Knoxville for work and decided to treat myself to something I cant get back home. It was definitely the best decision of the day. I bought a 6 pack to take home with me. Only one I have tried so far is the smores but it is AMAZING! HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO ME😂😂😂

I had to walk there at 10:30 at night on the weekend because my roommates order never showed up. They gave us one extra cookie for inconvenience, but definitely a lot of work for a couple cookies.

I could go on about these cookies. They are always warm, soft made, and a larger sized cookie. My personal favorite is the peanut butter, but the chocolate chunk is delicious as well. I drive almost 2 hours just to come and get some of these cookies. They are THE BEST I have ever ate. 10/10 would recommend.

I placed an order at 4;45 and got a confirmation text from insomnia but it’s 7 and they have not been delivered. I sat on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. This is frustrating as I do not live here and these were supposed to be a gift. If insomnia is closed or unable to delivered my order they should not be able to take my Order and my money. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to actually get a hold of someone and Demand a refund

Really great cookies the best cookies Ive ever had. And I used to work there so Ive had them before. But when I say they are the best cookies ever I mean they are the best cookies ever! And the customer service is good to.

This is the 2nd time Ive ordered cookies while at work and they have cancelled delivery.

Yeah the cookies are good. Theyre really not any better than the ones at Subway that are 1/3 the price, but they keep them in a warmer, so at the moment of purchase they do seem pretty amazing. The college angst that serves them is kind of a turn off (it is on UT campus) and the quart of milk selling for as much as a gallon does down the street leaves you feeling a little used.But well be back none the less.

For the love of all that is good, go directly to insomnia cookies and try every single thing they offer. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. They are worth the money and you will not want to leave because it smells like the second coming of christ in there. The workers are super friendly and the cookies are always fresh and warm.

Walked in to get a nice warm cookie, walked out with nothing. Apparently they dont have any chocolate chip or chocolate chunk cookies. This is a total waste of time.

I love Insomnia Cookies, but delivery takes FOREVER. I live about a 5 minute (if that) drive from the store and when I order it says my cookies will be delivered in 20-30 minutes. On average, I have to wait 45. The online tracker is also very inaccurate and will say the food is on its way for about half an hour. I understand that it takes time to bake and prepare the orders and traffic in my area can be hectic, but it would be nice if the tracker was accurate. The cookies are delivered warm, but be prepared to wait if you’re having them delivered.

Best place in the universe. Their staff and customer service is always amazing and their cookies are out of this world.

I had my cookies delivered. The driver left after 9 minutes without leaving my order where she was told to leave them. I call to see what happened and the girl clocked out, so I canceled my order. Its now going to take 3-5 business days to get my money back into my account. Just an awful experience all the way around.

Waited two and a half hours on my online order and called to cancel. They said that the bakery was closed. Orders shouldn’t be allowed to go through if you’re closed.

Ordered online. Tracked order 1 hour later to find a message for me to contact them due to a problem with the order. All their calls go to a national number, no local contact. After waiting 17 minutes I was told they are out of chocolate milk. By this time my son was going to bed so I cancelled the entire order. Poor system of customer contact. They had my cell number to call or text but required me to call them and wait.

Ordered a dozen cookies on 8/13/2020 for my daughter’s 18th birthday on 8/14/2020 to be delivered to her dorm at noon. Got a voicemail that they couldn’t deliver them until 5pm when they had someone deliver them. I said that was fine. Cookies never showed up yesterday or today. Very frustrating!! Called and was on hold for 20 minutes and I hung up. I will NOT be ordering from them again unless they reach out to me.

Horrible experience. Didn’t deliver as promised. Tried 3 different times. One delivery had my daughter walking up and down a long road to find the delivery driver. Never to be found. They promised another time. Yet again they weren’t delivered. Kids had changed dinner plans to wait on these. Another time they didn’t have a driver - but didn’t bother to call me. I called them. Not a great way to treat customers or do business. Finally I did get my money back. I’ll never order again or recommend this company

Ordered a quart of ice cream last night and only received a pint. Then I called to get a quart delivered because that’s what I paid for and the nice lady on the phone told me she would send the error to the store so they could redeliver my correct order and I never received anything again.

Ordered for my daughter who just moved into her dorm.....she never received them...I called several times, sat on hold for probably two hours total and never got an answer as to why she didn’t receive them. Emailed customer service, they said they would credit me and deliver to her free of charge....two days later, she still hasn’t received them. Beyond disgusted with this place!

Roommate had a bad day and decided to surprise them with Insomnia cookies. Wait staff was friendly and helpful and the cookies came out warmed. (I stuck my order in the oven, on warm while we ate dinner).Im weird about my cookie. I like crispy edges and soft middles and I dont care much for overly sweet cookies.We pulled desert out and they smelled heavenly. You could also do the TV commercial cookie break, where the chocolate oozes across where its broken. They were honestly, the most perfect cookie I have put in my mouth to date.Buttery and flavorful, but not too sweet.Roommate practically melted into the floor, they were that good.Definitely will be coming back to get more of these. And with milk. Plenty of milk.

Friends and I were having movie night last night and decided to run over to try Insomnia Cookies. Gary(Store manager?) waited on us and was super friendly and helpful. Cookies were fresh and warm. Will definitely try again!

Worst customer service, not worth my time over cookies. I ordered cookies for Bosss Day through an online order and received something completely different then what I ordered. I had to call customer service (a call center) to explain what happened, where then manager from this stored call me on the other line. I was told by the manager that I received what I ordered and I was like NO I can even show you a picture. She was very rude on the phone and said that she would issue me another box or if I wanted a refund, that I had to call customer service again because the store did not issue refunds for online orders. I told her that I didnt need 2 dozen cookies and her response was to just give them away when I received them. When I called Customer Service back, they said that I received what I ordered and that they would have to call the store to clarify. When they called the store, the manager responded by saying that she never talked to me or about getting a refund. Well I told customer service that the manager was wrong and repeated the conversation I had with her. Finally I was just like this is so ridiculous. I am not going to waste my time over cookies, and had them issue 50% refund.

Good not great cookies; a bit of a let down. This isnt a crafty bakery that specializes in cookies; its more of a bake-the-frozen-dough kind of place. Its open really late which is cool.Just remember youre in the strip and itll temper your expectations enough.

Despite some of the low reviews, I have always had a good experience coming here. The cookies are expensive but the prices are the same to other Insomnia Cookie shops I have gone to. The people here are very kind. Definitely a go-to spot for late night cookies or mid day cookies.

We ordered cookies around 10pm... told it would be a half hour. When at 11:30 we still didnt have our cookies we called and were told the driver was on his way. At 1am, we called a second time to check on our order and we were told that the driver had called us and we said we had not ordered cookies. We stayed up waiting for 3 hours, and after the last call we cancelled our order. It was horrible. The driver never called us, we did not receive any phone calls whatsoever in the 3 hours we were waiting. He called the wrong number and we never got our cookies.We went to the location the next day to tell them what happened and the manager shrugged us off and blamed the customer service phone call center. It was clearly the delivery driver and locations backup. We were very much looking forward to having late night cookies, and instead we stayed up 2 hours past when we needed to be sleeping to receive no cookies.I would not recommend.

We were visiting NYC from the UK and experienced really very nice people pretty much everywhere we went. Sadly, when we visited insomnia Cookies, the last who served us was so asinine we thought perhaps she was an insomniac and had been up all night. Cookies and ice cream were good. The shop is tiny though and another employee was occupying half the space splayed out whilst he was texting somebody with his phone plugged in charging. He didnt exchange a glance and didnt mutter a word.Not worth a visit. We had walked over from the American Museum of National History

Good cookies but overpriced

Dont order from this location if you actually want to get what you pay for. While the cookies are great, actually getting them delivered is a major problem at this location. I have had repeated problems with placing an order and then finding out when I call to check in that they dont have a driver at all. While I understand scheduling difficulties and that people get sick and call in, there is absolutely no excuse for the management to not notify customers of the delay when this occurs. Today, in fact, they didnt even notify the call center that they didnt have a driver. It has now been over 90 minutes since I placed my order, the staff that the order was for has mostly left for the night, and I am still out $40 and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Do NOT order from this place.

Got box of 6 cookies walked out to car to give kids cookies and when tried to grab cookies completely fell apart. Went back in to see if could swap out for another and had to deal with the rudest girl, ended up eating cookies from box with spoon. management needs to train workers how to talk to customers with common decency. Cant say I was terribly impressed with my first experience. I ordered 6 cookies online for delivery and it took over 90 minutes even though the website estimated 30-45 minutes. The cookies were cold when I got them and one of them looked like someone had taken a bite or broken off a piece. To be fair, the cookies themselves were pretty good, although far from the best Ive had. However Im not sure I would order online again. Rather than spending $13 for 6 mediocre cold cookies, after a 90 minute wait, I could have just driven to the store.

Its a basic cookie for $1.50 each! I can make 2 dozen cookies the same size for the same price! The staff isnt very friendly or helpful. They have great advertising! Nice logo. The late night delivery is a plus. However if you can get to Walmart you can buy a whole box of bakery cookies for the price of two at Insomnia Cookies!

The customer support for insomnia cookies is awful. I called with a simple request for my order and instead of being connected with a store that was processing my order I was sent to Natalie in customer service who assured me that toppings were delivered in a specific way and that if it was wrong I should call back. Well, it was and I did. Now I was speaking with Miranda who told me that stores served toppings differently depending on the location (thats not great for a chain, btw) and that there were no standards (how can you ensure quality...oh, wait) and that my order was not their mistake, even though I tried to call and have it fixed. Yes. You returned my money after telling me I would be getting a new, corrected order and then calling me back to tell me I wasnt getting anything-after I threw away the original. But you never corrected my order in the first place, you were too busy making up standards that didnt exist and promises that would not be kept. Poor service all around, your potential customers should be warned.

Its pretty good. Delivery times can be hit or miss. Not worth it if you are getting ice cream since its just pre packaged ice cream bowls you can get at the store.
