Estimate of 6 to 8 hours, automatically sent 3 men which was more expensive, it took 11.5 hours for the move. The drive between locations was 3.5 miles. They could not get everything on the truck. They could not have worked any slower plus one man had to be told more than once to stop texting and get busy. Also more than once I saw them sitting down in the truck until I walked up then they started working again. They also took time to fold the blankets while they were on the clock, they should have done that after my job was complete. All boxes were marked which room to place them in and they did not do that. They damaged my dining room table top and said someone would contact me and no one has contacted me. I would suggest using another company. A 3 bedroom home moving 3.5 miles cost over $1800.00, unbelievable.....

I used them when needing to move a family member in a short amount of time. They assisted me in coming up with a conservative estimate as to what it would cost, explained all procedures and followed up with me the entire duration of the service. The moving team were great, but we ran into a snag at the delivery point that could have been avoided and which added to the cost. The office team had access to both properties by GPS and found the home of origin and planned appropriately. They apparently did not do the same for the delivery point and had to go back to the office to find a smaller truck. This increased the cost of the move. That said, Id use them again, but Id make sure I knew about the delivery point. I had not been there, so I accept part of the blame.

Movers showed up on time, moved all my stuff quickly and efficiently and cheerfully up 3 flights of stairs, for about half the cost of what I expected. It made my move truly hassle free.

I used Two Men and a Truck very recently for my local move. From the very first day when I booked the slot, they have been very professional and prompt. The logistics and communication was simply great. They arrived on time, they were very friendly and efficient. I had a very complicated king size bed and they had to disassemble it and then reassemble at the target location in addition to the other furniture. But I really appreciate the way they did that which was actually far better than the original installation of the same. They completed the move in just about 3 hours and they took care of the stuff very carefully without any single scratch or something. Made my 550 mile move easy. The movers were friendly and careful with my things. Nothing damaged and most importantly, my very large houseplant, that I was worried about, made it here to the east coast just fine.

Scheduling our move was quick and easy. The office staff was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. When the team of five showed up they immediately starting covering and shrink-wrapping all of our furniture. As it was being shrink wrapped three of the other gentlemen began carrying boxes out. I needed a large sized bedroom suit moved from one house to another. I called Two Men and a Truck because I had seen their trucks on the road. During the first call, the office staff asked detailed questions so that they could provide an accurate quote. I was pleased with the price and value of the quote and scheduled the move for the following week. The office staff called me a couple of days before to remind me of the scheduled move and to ask if anything had changed about my request. On the morning of the move, the driver texted to let me know he would be at the house in 30 minutes (right at the scheduled time). The movers took extra good care of the furniture by wrapping it and handling it gently as they loaded and secured it in the truck. They took the same care during the unloading and unwrapping at our destination. The office staff was extremely friendly and detail-oriented. The movers were friendly, professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck for your moving needs and will use them again myself.

They wont pay for damage. This operation was very professional and courteous when I moved my home from Knoxville to Canton, GA. When I hired a local Georgia Two Men to take my stuff out of storage three weeks later, there was obvious damage from the first move, which I photographed and sent to the Knoxville Two Men. No response. I called and emailed four times and no response. Finally I gave up. I was told there was $300 damage insurance, and the damage done was at least this. They should have just sent me a check. At this point Ill take my loss and move on. There was small damage on the second move too (I understand this happens), and a repair man from the Georgia office came out within two days and made it good. Too bad there isnt a good standard across the country for these franchises. I cannot recommend the Knoxville Two Men.

Moving team is excellent, moved really heavy and delicate stuffs with extreme care. I would recommend them strongly. My only complaint is that they came 1hr later than the scheduled time.

Team was very professional. Jeremy and John worked quickly as a team, sometimes individually and other times together. Team was very efficient. No breakage or damages of items. I even asked them to move items that I didnt need to be loaded to the truck to be transferred into the garage which they did quickly and efficiently.

Julio and his partner could not have been nicer or more helpful than they were with my sons move from one assisted living residence to another. I am 77 years old and my handicapped son is 59. It was a real pleasure to work with 2 guys that worked with an old school attitude. It was what can we do to help rather than reading us their rule book telling us why they could not do what we needed done. The facility we moved to ask for the guys names so they could ask for them to recommend to future tenants. Rates were very reasonable also. You can bet I will use Two Men and A Truck next move we make.

They disassembled a few items and also reassembled them with all the parts at the new location. My move was completed in less time than quoted, and the process eliminated a lot of my stress. The two men who moved my home were examples of true professionalism. They both went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect with the move. My most prized furniture was double wrapped, care given in every way, and arrived perfect. I was impressed that they did not rush just to get done, they took their time, packed the truck floor to ceiling to make sure everything got on, and arrived at the new place with the same attitude. Very poor experience-do not use two men and a truck-Knoxville, TN! They would not come to our home for an estimate. We spent over an hour on the phone going room to room describing items and things we needed moved. Then had to send about a dozen pictures. A week later, owner Jason called us and we had to repeat the process with him. He told us the cost was based on weight. We later decided to rent a U-haul and moved many items ourselves. We loaded the U-haul to the max and rated weight full is 4,000 pounds. We also packed all of the items we originally contracted with them to do. Naturally, since they had far less work to do, we asked for a fair price adjustment. And it wasnt until the movers left that we discovered how careless they were by dumping many, many boxes in our garage. All of our boxes were clearly labeled as to which room they belonged in and we clearly communicated this to the movers. Yet, they just piled boxes in the garage in no order at all. It took us many hours to locate things because of their carelessness. The worst part is when we left several messages for owner Jason who never bothered to return our calls. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and they contacted Jason who told them the cost was based on a flat fee and if they did more or less work the price would be the same. Too bad, no refund or price adjustment. They never addressed the carelessness of their workers because they dont care. Just like Jason doesnt care enough to be fair or even return phone calls. I tried to leave a review on their website and am unable to. It appears the reviews on their site are fake because there is no option to write a review. Avoid these shysters at all costs!

They were very careful with every piece furniture and efficient, finishing the job quicker than estimated. Would highly recommend!

I meant to leave a review here years ago and forgot to do so, but I’ll do it now so hopefully people will avoid this company. I was quoted a price of $795 for a move and the day the movers showed up it was $400 higher even though not a thing had changed and if you read through other commenters you will see that this happens from time to time. It isn’t accidental and they do this to lock you in knowing that when they show up to move you can’t walk away if you have a closing date on your house.. The other issues were they broke a couch by dropping it and the frame cracked badly, and they bumped into a ceiling carrying furniture upstairs which broke a section of the drywall which left a huge crack.

I was extremely pleased with Two Men and a Truck. The movers were professional and worked quickly and efficiently. I appreciated this in as much as it was hourly rate.

Rod and Rob were excellent. This was by far the best moving experience we have ever had. They arrived on time, wrapped furniture to keep drawers and doors secure, and followed instructions perfectly. They had no problem moving a large bookcase that barely fits through the doorway. We ended up needing to move several additional items than we had planned for, and they were happy to do so. I looked in the truck after it was loaded and everything was securely strapped and padded. The unload went smoothly as well. They placed everything where we wanted it and were happy to move things again when we changed our minds. We are sometimes uneasy about paying by the hour but these guys were very fast and they got a lot of work done in a short amount of time, so the final price was very reasonable. We will use Two Men and a Truck in the future and we will request Rod and Rob also.Update: We had a second move a year later and we were once again very happy with Rod and Rob and the entire process.

Theyre nice but said my move was going to take 9 hours just to move 2 mattresses, a couch, and 2 box springs..they wanted to charge me $1300 to move everything out and into the new place thats 10 minutes away..i contacted another company and they said it would take only 3 hours and would be $350.. i recommend going with a different company unless you like being ripped off..

Our daughter used the movers to unload her U-Haul and move all items to her 3rd floor apartment. They were friendly and fast. She will definitely use them again when she moves in the future and recommend them to others.

I got a quote in February 2020, and I do a deposit. Told me before I do deposit that I could change move date as long as they were open. Called a month later to change move date, & they tried to get more $ per hour. I sad I would go elsewhere, & they called back & honored 1st quote. Got a new quote for 3 men because they were moving piano. Sent photos upon request of piano, door they would use and access to door. Good to go. Moving day came, & they sent 2 men. Said everyone was sick or on vacation. Didn’t call to warn us about losing a man at any point. We called to tell them only 2 men showed. They two men decided they couldn’t move piano two minutes prior to being done. Wanted us to sign a waiver in case they busted up piano. Sister got on phone with company. Company argued back and forth with drivers for 42 minutes. (Which they charged me for) I was so stressed that I cried in my car. When they finally dropped off my furniture at my new location, they had propped the bed up like it was put together. I have a video of the bed falling over. The Waheed were still laying in the floor. I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes removing everything, putting the headboard on and setting up the bed that I had paid them to do. We wrote four emails to local office and one to home office. No one refunded the money I paid for them to stand there and talk instead of moving nor for failing to put my bed together. I’ve moved before with All My Sins, and there was never an issue. I do NOT recommend this company. They lack customer service, did not honor their quote for only two movers and have failed to right their mistakes. (I have videos I can share)

I worked here and this company has a lot of problems many of the guys working here on on drugs and come into work totally high. The owner is a tweeker. I wouldn’t recommend hiring or working for this company. I also worked for a franchise in Michigan. They where very much organized and professional. The franchise here in Knoxville, under Jason Langley tarnishes the franchise name. Do your research you will find I am not wrong. If needed you can speak to Franchise home office in Lansing, Michigan.

We moved my 89 year old mother inlaw to Knoxville from Waynesville nc. These people are fantastic! Not only did they remove unwanted items, we got a huge refund off the estimate! We are beyond happy. My elderly mother and moved from Knoxville to Oak Ridge. We went from a larger apartment to a small one. I had passed this company on Western Ave many times and thought Id give them a call. From the first time I spoke with their office coordinator Angel, I knew we were headed in the right direction. I was please with the quote and Angel immediately sent us a copy of the estimate. The movers arrived on time, and there were NO surprises. The two men were wonderful and efficient. We couldnt believe how fast they were and no damage to our furniture. At the end, there were no surprises and our estimate was right on track. One thing I highly recommend is to keep in touch with Angel during the moving process. Let her know of any changes to your boxes or furniture. This allows her to give you the most up-to-date information and quotes. We were more impressed by the way they helped us organize our furniture in our smaller space. Each one told us what might fit better and what way we should put our beds. They were right and it was very much appreciated. We will be using them again when we move our storage facility closer.

I filled out the online form for a quote and left the wrong email so I called at 8:53 am and left a voice message. I called again at 1:31 and got the machine again . I cant believe no one has responded! (I did not leave a message the second call.) I needed a few items moved tomorrow morning to my sons apartment 5 mins away. It would take about an hour. If you dont return calls how can you stay in business! I will be calling someone else.
