I was a patient for over twenty years. The other day, I went in and asked to change the brand of contacts that I wear. Dr. Burkhart refused to change my brand, even though I have more than a month left on my current prescription, unless I paid for a full contact AND glasses exam. Apparently, money is more important than caring for his patients. However, his decision has cost him eight current patients and six (and counting) future patients. Not a really good business model!UPDATE: I got a call from Dr. Burkhart tonight. Apparently, his receptionist is a liar. He told her that he would talk to me between patients. She told me that he would see me as a patient and he wouldnt do anything else unless I paid for an exam. After his call, the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Ill adjust to four stars. Ill give five stars if he fires the liar.
