Jules coffee provided signature drinks at an outdoor wedding reception. What an amazing group of professionals! The adorable mobile coffee platform not only easily accommodated our 70 person party, but looked amazing. The ability to have personalized hot or cold flavored coffees, made to order was a very elegant touch for the guests. This family run business is simply everything you could ever ask for. THANK YOU AGAIN for making this even more special for our kids.
Love love love the scones! The raspberry white chocolate is the best and I’m told sells out first. The oat milk vanilla cappuccino was tasty but I forgot to order it dry but I had no problem drinking it. 😀 My daughters iced mocha was yummy and my husband tried cold nitro for the first time and really enjoyed it. Awesome and super friendly staff! Thank you!!
Their coffee was better than I remember! I havent been there for 15 years until now! Customer service was great! And their banana bread reminds me of my grandmothers, I cant wait to go back soon!
Friendly, helpful service. Great vibe. Tasty iced coffee flight! And right next door to the cutest used bookstore!
Jules is cute and rustic and attaches to an uber cool bookstore. My coffee and scone were both amazing. I love the new ownership!! And the staff is friendly and really great. Id highly recommend!
Coffee drinks are weak. Hours are limited. Prices are fair and reasonable. Parking is extremely limited. It is what it is a small business with limited selection and fair quality. There are other better coffee shops in the neighborhood. Just not a destination for coffee.
Chai latte, espresso, and latte were all great. Didnt try the iced coffee flight but will be trying that next time.
Staff was friendly, orders were accurate, cozy atmosphere.
We walked over to Jules from our hotel. We got a vanilla latte, strawberry banana smoothie and the quiche. Everything was delicious. We sat outside and had enjoyed our drinks & breakfast on the patio. The patio is just a few tables with two chairs each. Simple but worked well for us and our stroller. Highly recommend stopping here.
Very quaint little coffee shop
When I visit La Crosse, I am never disappointed with their coffee. The coffee has always been presented to me with the same consistency in flavor and customer service. I will order a caramel mocha coffee from larger chain coffee shops, but depending on time, location, or barista, the coffee will always taste a little different. Jules is easy to get to, Ive been there at varying times of the day, and never had the same barista twice, but the coffee is always consistent. Its a great place to sit down and work, or Ill just stop by for a quick coffee takeout. I highly recommend Jules, whether youre a local, driving through town and need quality coffee, or you want to try to new coffee place.
Great coffee, tasty scones, friendly service -- love it! Currently open for dining in.
Coffee is horrible under the new management and they shame you for not wearing a mask, pathetic service and they will not see me in there until they lift their ridiculous order.
Absolutely the worst service Ive ever had, literally anywhere!Shop was not busy, no line and no waiting. Wannabe Wisconsin hipster barista had to be asked if hed take my order. When he finally did, he acted like Id just asked him some huge favor (2 lattes doesnt seem too much). I said You dont have to make them if you really dont want to and he motioned for the door. So I left without coffee, walked half a block down to the Pearl (great place!), and got 2 easy cups of coffee served with a smile. If this small business goes under, it wont because of the pandemic, itll be because of laziness and lack of service.
Honestly the best scone Ive had. It was a chocolate raspberry scone and was amazing. We also had something similar to an iced caramel macchiato and that was also really really good. Its a cute little shop nestled into the heart of downtown La Crosse. It has the right atmosphere of relaxation, comfortable feel. We will have to come back when covid settles down to enjoy a cup and scone there.
Best coffee shop EVER
Great place with amazing coffee and tea!
They have FOUR outlets to plug in your computer or phone. If it is a day in which school is in session or students have homework (Everyday that ends in Y), That is a Huge problem. I am too smart not to think of this from an owners standpoint Good! Then everyone will leave as soon as their batteries die, and I can turn the tables quickly! Unfortunately, it doesnt work that way, and people will Always go elsewhere to get their needs met, rather than watch 4 people be happy. Last time I was there, someone left the coffee shop for at least an hour(but left their computer there, and plugged in) when I told the girl behind the counter... That there is no place to sit, and they left over an hour ago. She said Well tough, we are Not going to move a persons things. Attitude And no place to sit.. Yeah! The place Doesnt roast its own coffee, so basically you hope for a pleasant counter person, you get high-speed Internet, and I like the fact that it is next to a used bookstore. **Has Potential... Needs Management Attention*
Best coffee shop in Lax. Been coming here since 2008 - same quality coffee.
Delicious. Cute small town coffee shop. Very kind barista. I had a iced white mocha and it was great. Not too sweet espresso wasnt too acidic. Love the old town feel. They also had food and wine that looked amazing, but didnt try it. Would definitely go back whenever Im in town to try the food.
Great house made soup, love their coffee and smoothies as well! Attentive and friendly service every time, cozy atmosphere.
They make the BEST iced mocha. When I think of La Crosse, I think of this coffee shop.
Best coffee in town, hands down! The building is pretty old and could use some love, but otherwise great atmosphere. Plus, its connected to Pearl Street Books: theres nothing better than the smell of coffee and books!
Want some awesome coffee? Come to this place. Want to meet cool people? You can find them at Jules. Want a quiet calm spot to sit and meditate on life? I dont have to tell you three times.
Best iced vanilla latte Ive ever had
I loved this place! Very pleased with my vanilla latte. Casual, unpretentious atmosphere. My table wobbled, but, eh. Very nice conversation with the barista. I didnt ask him, but I gathered that he was an owner. I will go back, as it was quite welcoming.
Great coffee, friendly service. Its a cute place. Perfect for a little study time, grading, reading, etc. Always recommend it to those who are local or in for a visit. I enjoy the mocha latte, iced mocha also delicious. You cant go wrong
Great atmosphere, but I ordered Mayan Chocolate and got coffee....not a big deal, Im a coffee person, but as someone who works in customer service Id say pay a bit more attention. Enjoyable experience overall.
I love this place so much, its just my favorite. Its really just an excuse for the book store, but I really did the old Irish snug style booth seating. Really chill. And fast.
Somehow, it seems, the universe brings together some of the coolest people to Jules... At just the right time. The energy here is refreshing and I truly enjoy giving Evan a hard time!
Nice, cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great soups and baked goods.
Coffee is pretty good. Also got to watch a social media influencer do a photo shoot here in a booth.
Great atmosphere. Super menu. Lovely staff
Only had a frapp! It was delicious! Their syrups are homemade. Nice place in historic downtown LaCrosse.
Cool place to study and gulp down some good coffee. Would be great if they had more power outlets, though.
A very nice little coffee joint with excellent pastries and coffee. Wish there was a Jules Coffee Shop in the Chicago suburbs cause their Chocolate Raspberry Scones are delicious! Worth the drive (and detour) since there are some nice scenic routes along the way.
I used to go to the Root Note, quite often, but after I found this place due to a friend, I love it. You cna have to go or dine in, their scones are good and just the right amount of dry. They could have their tea slightly hotter, I will admit, but they are fairly good overall.
I love Jules! It is worth the money for their coffees! So good! And as a plus, the Pearl Street Books is connected! The outdoor tables are so nice! Coffee and the sun! And people that hangout are so nice! When I am done with finals and need a treat I go to Jules!
Coffee and pastries have always been great but today I tried the African Peanut soup. Amazing!! Not sure what all is in it but it makes one giant bowl of deliciousness.
Jules is hard to give a star rating to. Their drinks are really good and theyre open later than a lot of other coffee shops, but the building is kind of falling apart around them, which makes it hard to give a higher rating.
Nice
Really cool place that I frequent. That being said the service is hit or miss. They do have killer soup and quality coffee
Their chai tea latte is probably the best Ive had in this area. I get it anytime Im sick and it always warms me up and makes me feel better :)
My second day in la crosse and the people and placesare very welcoming and friendly! Here, however, i just walked through the door and was trying to locate the register when an employee rudely snarked move and shoved his way past me. I understand he was trying to pick up materials from an illegally parked vehicle, but you can politely ask a customer to move and direct them to the right location. This is coming from a food service worker who has been in the industry for 12 years.
They have been killing it since i was in high school and before 15 + years ago. Plus they have a conjoining book store next door so its my one stop shop for drinks and reads.
Good coffee and atmosphere, but its a little pricey and the seating is less than ideal.
Espresso king. Always a great soup on the stove.
The BEST Organic munchies/coffee ANYWHERE!!!
The brown haired lady gave us the wrong drink and on top of that she put WAY too much espresso that we didnt even ask for. I WILL NOT be back.
A great place to study or just hang out. The drinks are great.
This might be the best coffee shop in La Crosse. The coffee is consistently good, the seating is nice, the downtown location is great. this is probably the oldest coffee shop in the city. The people working here are nice and helpful... Located on a one-way street, so you can practice parallel parking on the left side of the street..if you want.
Not the best coffee in town, but a fun place to hang out. Prices arent the worst, but for what you get much better options in town.
Best coffee in town. My wife has been coming here for years and Ive just recently had the pleasure of stopping in myself. Absolutely delightful atmosphere.
Hot chocolate was good. Was cool with us putting a table of 7 people together. Chairs are very light.
Good coffee. Good music playlist.
It is someplace in a desert. Although this is a basic cafe, so prices compared to cost, are obviously ethically unsound. I dont recall that they served either local, sustainable, I wouldnt call it health. The staff isnt knowledgeable enough to warn you of side effects, nor do I believe they know what they serve. They show up, because they had to pay for school.
Great coffee and great atmosphere. Its what youre looking for in a coffee shop
Wide variety of beverages, good dessert items, spacious seating area
Been coming here over 20 years! Love this place.
Fun and chill atmosphere great for meeting friends or studying
I love how they have out door seating!
Great coffee (I love the steamers) and awesome atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and great music! Cool place!
Very nice lady, and good coffee!! And open at 6:27 p.m.!
Cute coffee shop with great service and great drinks.
Best Iced Mocha’s in town
Delicious chocolate chip cookie with our coffee.
Top 5 for coffee in the area
Great environment and coffee, plenty of outlets for your laptop!
Go to Pearl Street books. Pick up a book. Get a coffee at Jules, read the book. Friends arrive and they have settlers of Catan. Order an off-menu chai frappacino, its amazing. Lose at Catan. Walk home. You just had a perfect day.
A downtown La Crosse institution. Great coffee & classic interior.
I really like this place. Great coffee and nice atmosphere.
Good coffee. Fast service
I wish I lived here because the coffee is bonkers. Its strong, European style, and they have COCONUT milk.
Great place... So addicted to their scones.
Great vibe, fun place, good coffee!
Coffee was good, pizza was pretty stale though.
Great coffee, nice cool atmosphere, chill staff
Great place, wonderful service & fantastic coffee. If only they could get rid of all the hipsters...
What a wonderful place to spend a late Saturday morning on a rainy day in LaCrosse! Perfect dark roast, warm mixed-berry scones, lovely friendly baristas, excellent WiFi, convenient plugins and even coat racks on every booth.
Great place, delicious tea!
Always a good place for coffee and free WIFI.
Great place to stop and unwind 😀
Iced chai latte is delicious
Best damn coffee in La Crosse.
Favorite coffee in La Crosse! Good coffee and atmosphere!
An absolute staple of downtown La Crosse. Try the Mayan Chocolate coffee!
The girl working was very friendly. Unfortunately, we didnt care for our drinks much. They were a bit pricy and inconsistently made. Its been hit or miss there for us.
Very delicious but they seem short staffed so they cant keep up with cleanliness.
Coffee is amazing but some employees have foul customer service
Amazing cappuccino, but the needs on the pastry
Good coffee, staff☺
My favorite♡
Amazing coffee and service
Friendly service, great cappuccino
A La Crosse staple for students, artists, and the general community
