When arriving at Family Vision Center, I was greeted promptly by the receptionist. Unlike some front counter staff at other places that just hurry you along, at FVC they really took the time to answer all of my questions prior to being seen. When I was brought back to the room, my tech did a great job of making me feel comfortable by having a conversation with with me about baseball while still being prompt in his assessment. The doctor arrived shortly after. She really took the time to answer any and all of my questions. Most places I have been they seem to rush you out the door but that wasn’t the case here. I greatly appreciate it. All I can say about FVC is AMAZING.

We knew we needed a second opinion for our daughter. We were highly recommended to Family Vision Center and we seen Dr. Wonderling. She was aware the eye doctor wasn’t our first go around. She kept us educated, reassured. She was ABSOLUTELY wonderful with our daughter. We finally got some good answers to all our questions & finally something we can do to try to help! We’re so happy! My daughter LOVED her!

Was mislead on how much frames were cost and ended up over paying a ridiculous amount for a pair of glasses and felt pressured to buy one by the sales person. If you on a budget look else where. They also wont give you a full refund, if you change your mind if the order has already processed,if your quick enough to cancel you might still get a refund. The palace had great orthodontists and staff expect for the ones helping you pick out frames. They act like used car salseman. None of the glasses have proce tags.

My Optometrist was great. The gal who did the stuff before I saw him was equally great. My only problem, was when I brought my son in to get new glasses when I was done with my appointment. He really wanted a new pair. The pre-ophthalmologist student named Tyler, was helping us out. He asked my son what was wrong with his. He showed him. Tyler was very kind and let my son know his glasses were under warranty. We could go to the Tomah branch and get a replacement. We knew this. Tyler just dropped it after that. I was so surprised. I thought hed at least say however, if youd want a new pair feel free to have a look. Heres the mens. Or, we have a deal on them, if you wanted a second pair. Etc. I asked my son if he wanted to look. Hes shy and said no. He also said no because, he felt very awkward after this. It felt like to him, like they didnt want to show him any, or something. So strange. We decided to look in Tomah when my glasses come in. We are glad on one hand he was looking out for us but, very surprised on the other he didnt want to sell us a new pair. We spent a good sum of money on a new pair for me. My son was so excited to look at the Lacrosse branch as, they have more options than Tomah. Which is were we usually go. Weird complaint I know. So, if you want great service go here. Theyre thorough and so nice.

Our family has been patients of Family Vision Center for many years and have always had great service that has been thorough and professional. I personally feel that Dr Wonderling is The Best, and feel confident that my vision needs are in great hands. all the staff was very personable and helpful in selecting my new frames and I love them!

I had gone to Family Vision Center for two years to get my eye exam as well as order contacts. During a pandemic, I called to ask if my contact prescription could be extended in order for me to order contacts for a short period of time. My prescription was one month overdue. I was told they were unable to do so and I should wear glasses. After reaching out to an online contact supply company for help they stated that many eye doctors have been extending prescriptions in order to help their customers during this pandemic. They found it very surprising that Family Vision was not willing to help. I would hope in the future they are more willing to accommodate to their customers needs during such hard times.

All I can say is I ordered a pair of glasses after my frames broke. Unfortunately I didnt have a spare (the frames I purchased from them just over a year earlier had broke) and I needed them as soon as possible. Two weeks later I was called and informed they are delayed and will be in on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday? For $700 I find this unacceptable and when I called I got the impression they didnt really care and an Im sorry doesnt do it. The staff are pleasant but it takes more than that, the service needs to be there as well. I would NOT recommend the family vision center.

Friendly staff. Everyone who I had interacted with was focused on me and taking care of my needs. Very patient/customer oriented clinic. If you are needing glasses or interested in changing eye doctors, certainly need to consider Family Vision Center.

If you have Badgercare, dont bother coming here. I have commercial and state insurance and even after telling them Im only using the commercial insurance, they refused to see me. And they werent really nice about it. You can apologize all you want, but your tone of voice and body language speaks more volumes.

We just moved here and this is where our insurance is for and I am thankful for that. Dr. Wonderling was super nice. Her assistants were very understanding to a Mom with 3 kids trying to get one done on this visit. They were great with my kids and leading my son into some awesome pair of glasses! I hope that this will continue when I get my next kid their appointment!! Thanks again for be so nice to a family with little ones!

Very Professional and all the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend their facility to anyone that needs an eye exam or a new pair of glasses/contacts. Their prices were very competitive and I found them to be much cheaper than anyone within a 30 mile radius or other surrounding towns. 5 stars all the way!

This is such a wonderful place to go. The doctors explain things, great staff, great selections of eye wear. They are wonderful with children. My daughter freaked out the first time she went at the age of 4 and ever since then, she gets excited when she gets to go to the eye doctor. Thank you family vision center :~)

I have been going to Family Vision Center for 23 years! I always feel comfortable with the staff & the knowledge of Dr. Foss is very calming. As a child I went through the Vision Therapy program & would recommend them to anyone with small children. They work hard to correct any eye problems before they just give you glasses. I commend Dr Foss for all the dedication he puts into helping this area & other countries to see better.

I have been a patient of Dr. Foss for over 30 years. We were told about him, for our son who was failing in school. He needed vision therapy and we watched our son passing in his classes. When my husband saw how thorough an exam he gave we all started to go to him. On an emergency basis saw Dr. Wonderling and she was great. She went the extra mile to give me quality care. Having been a patient for over 30 years, I am amazed at the constant updates that the Family Vision Center puts in place. They have tracked my progress, watched out for high pressure to catch any glaucoma early, and have kept up with my needs re: bifocal lenses and new prescriptions. I was getting horrible eye pain and headaches and was referred to Vision Therapy where I learned how to retrain my eyes to see better. I almost never have headaches anymore and they have allowed me to keep the tools I need to do routine maintenance. Dr. Foss and his entire staff are fantastic!

I am very, very happy with my experience at Family Vision Center. I (and my eyes) are grateful for my accurate, helpful, and comfortable visit. My exam resulted in a new prescription that feels very correct, and I can already tell that my overall well-being is improved through clearer vision. Dr. Wonderling and all of the staff were very instrumental in providing quality and intuitive care.As I am particular about style for eyeglasses and have a limited budget, I was concerned about finding new frames that I would love and feel ok spending the money on. After explaining what I was looking for to the eyeglass professional, he was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find a near perfect match that he ordered in. (After matching the style with one they already had in house, he suggested the frames may come in a varying color closer to what I was looking for that he could order in.) Ordering them required no stipulation- I could simply come back when they arrived, try them out, and decide from there. They were an instant yes!During the couple days in between ordering them and going back to try them out, I shopped around for frames at nearly every other eyeglass shop in town. Not only did I not find anything I really liked; but the assistance was incomparable to that of Family Vision Center, and I found that prices on frames and lenses were definitely not less. Though I ended up spending more than I originally hoped to on frames, I realize that it was so worth it for having glasses I love to wear and buying them from a business that has true intentions on providing an excellent service just for you.I sincerely recommend Family Vision Center to anyone looking for eye care in the La Crosse and surrounding area!
