This isnt my normal go to Gamestop but I stopped by for the PS5 bundle release event. I have to give credit to Ray who did a great job at managing the release event. He arrived early, communicated with everyone in line, and continued to check on us. He even offered water to all because we were there 3+ hours before the store opened. The rest of the staff did great as well and I thank you all for making my visit here pleasant.

This is hands down the best Gamestop I have ever dealt with. Im a life long gamer, 35 years now of gaming, and the staff knows their products!Raymond, the Manager, is absolutely helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable of his games and his pop culture! 👍🏻👍🏻

I listened to a sales person deal with a call about wearing a mask. This caller is not understanding the policy and very combative as I could hear him. The employee was so patient...till he got off the phone to help me. He was kind to the caller and very kind to me, who did not have a mask on and he kindly gave me one.

I officially dont like this company Anymore. I always get bugged about renewing my membership. I finally said yes and the $10 coupon they promised was only $5 and I cant use the code online, but its online only. And it expires today. A few days after I got the stupid thing. Next time I go in, Im cancelling my membership.

Based off of the reviews you would think it would be a decent establishment where you can get help and won’t have any problems but yet their employees get mad if you ask a simple question Very unprofessional and then on top of that they couldn’t even answer my question what is the point of having people work for your company if you’re not gonna give them details that they need to at least work there they should at least have the knowledge to answer simple questions

My friend couldnt make it up there to sit in line to get a PS5 so he sent his wife up with me to stay the night to get a PS5 and most Gamestop locations made people buy bundles Well the long hair skinny Manager was really cool and didnt up sell me or my friends wife. Oh yeah we got there at 4 oclock pm the day before and stayed 20 hours there to get ours. Thank you gamestop

Worked at a gamestop before managers are very selfish to there employees when it comes to working and hours. If your not a manager youll be lucky if you 5 hours in just one week a month if that. The system should be redone to make it were employees get equal pay and equal opportunity i suggest getting a second job if planning on working there other then that the atmospheres are usually friendly!

Ive always love game stop but this store has prices on cases and when you go to ring up they want to charge you 20 dollars more and I had called from another store to made sure they had it. If thats not false advertisements I dont know what is I dont care to pay 20 more but thats not the point dont have one price on the case and then another at the register.

This location is not the same since Alfonso left. The new guy running the place is not very friendly. The skinny white woman that works there has a attitude. The atmosphere is just not good anymore. Ill gladly drive to the 646 location from now on

Awesome every time I go. Only trouble is, its a small store. When it gets crowded, there is no room to do anything. Other than that its a friendly place with great employees. Also, do yourself a favor and get the Elite Pro membership, it pays for itself

Its Gamestop. Theres not much more to say. Gave this one 5 stars because of the employees. One in particular. Im sorry if you read this, but I cant remember your name. Bald guy with glasses and a beard. That guy is the greatest. Hes knowledgeable, nice and doesnt seem bothered when you ask him able upcoming games or just questions in general. Good guy. I go out of my way to come to this Gamestop because of him.

Had most games in stop and the employee was nice and helpful.

2nd consecutive visit to GS where line to checkout was >2 customers deep. Considering the markup on most products, they can definitely afford to pay to have additional registers open .

Good stock of games. There is usually no line and although prices are commensurate with a game stop chain, they have a good staff and inventory. Conveniently located

Man, Gamestop used to mean something. I walked in there just now and some dude tried to get me to switch my phone service. What happened to the good old days when Id walk in and Id talk with the guy about what games are fun and whats coming out next year? Now they rip us off with trade ends and try to get us onto a platinum disc insurance.

Purchased an elite controller on 11/3/2018 as a late birthday present (the wife ok’d it). Was hesitant on getting the white one at first but that’s what they had at the time. Cashier stated if I didn’t like it I could return it in 30 days for a full refund. Even states it on the back of the receipt new accessories opened or unopened with receipt full refund 30 days. Got home the controller felt smaller and button sticky, new sure but still felt wrong. 11/6/2018 I take it back in for the refund (I’m a public servant didn’t have any time to go sooner or would’ve). Manager there tells me the controller is not an accessory. Hmm wait a minute. The guy that sold it to me, the website and the app have an Xbox elite controller listed as what? An accessory. Ok fine, guy offered to exchange it, cool. I stated thanks but I don’t care for it and would like a refund as per your policy. Continues on with not an accessory, ask for a corporate number and does not give it. So then what? I google it up myself.Next stage I’m on the phone with the corporate office who states to me, the store is not following the policy in place and they will file a complaint with the district manager. Ok cool, so when do I ge that call? They stated 72 hrs. So I go return to the store after the 30 minute wait phone call and explain one last time what I had just gone through with the coprate office stating he was wrong and not following policy. The manager decides to be smug and tell me I’m wrong, I won’t be getting my money back and when his boss calls him he’ll explain the controller not being an accessory. I’ve bought every system at full price, always the latest pro edition cod games (all I play), headsets, controllers and I’ve never had one issue before. All the sudden this manager gets involved and acts like a smug tough guy not willing to abide by policies. I’ll be sure to just buy from Microsoft directly from here on out. All because this particular manager is creating a small issue into a large one, making me go through hoops to get my refund.I highly recommend if you are in this area go to league city GameStop if you have to go to a GameStop or find your purchase elsewhere. They do not abide by their statements and polices, always press you for pro membership even after you say no, and don’t give a darn About customer loyalty.

So my husband went to purchase a new controller for his PS4 he was fixing walk out and noticed that it was in a bag so he pull it out and it was pre owned controller he ask the lady do you have any new PS4 controller and she look at him and said what is the difference ever one know there is a difference we he waited back in the line and it was his turn and she was like I was trying to save you money the new controller are 79.99 and my husband was like for a black PS4 controller she was like yes well well long store short the new ps4 controller was 49.99 and the pre owned was 49.99 so I dont know what she was talking about trying to save him money but she was trying to sell him a pre owned for the same price as a new one

I love Gamestop but $13 for a brand new game trade in? Sad.

I traveled to this Gamestop location to buy my Nintendo Switch when my local Galveston Gamestop didnt have one. They had a nice selection of merch.

Staff does not have the knowledge you expect for a game only store. Pre-owned merchandise is expensive enough that you may as well buy new (for hardware). You can find cheap games.

The retailers here know their games no matter the platform. (P.c. Xbox PlayStation Nintendo.) They are informative and very very helpful.
