I have to say I would never recommend you going to this place ever because I have always had problems there thought it was pretty cool but they pretty much wrecked my car my transmission they redid last year I had brought it to them because I felt there was a transmission problem before it was at 50,000 they told me it was something else I had gone and we got taken care of within a couple of weeks and when I brought it back to them it was over the $50,000 and then they told me they couldnt help me out they knew that there was a problem with my car and they pushed it off as something else so I would go over the mileage that is one a very many times Ive had problems I think my car got damaged on a lot they didnt do the work properly it was an all-round horrible experience and would not suggest anybody to ever bring their vehicle there... Plus the manager has a major attitude and acts as though as he doesnt.. my sister also brought her car there and they also messed up her breaks and shes actually afraid to take it back to them...

Alex was great! They are very knowledgeable and honest, diagnosed my car and told me the truth! My transmission is fine! Will def go back when I need a transmission though, they are great!

On November 17, 2020 l had my Toyota Camry towed to AAMCO, 3426 S. Military Trail, Lake Worth for transmission problems. I must say Alex, Jason and Luis are true professionals. They were very courteous and informative. During the time my car was being worked on, they kept in touch with me by email and text. When l went to pick up my car and make final payment, l was surprised that l got a generous discount for which l was more than thankful. On top of that they gave me a free carwash. I am very satisfy with the work that was done on my car, l would therefore recommend Alex, Jason and their team to others who may need service.

The professionals at Aamco were very helpful, thorough with their explanation of what they needed to do and what was best, and were all around accommodating in helping my car get back to me quickly fixed.

I spoke to a customer service agent Last week about towing my vehicle to the location in Lake Park, FL. There was a communication conflict as I thought i called the aamco in Lake Park but was on the phone with the Lake worth location.From our conversation, the agent should have known that I meant to be towed to the other aamco nearest to me when I said I was just down the street, a few miles away in palm beach gardens, PGA BLVD but I was never corrected about that.From this information going to the service agent, they should have known ( as someone arranging towing and discussing fees), that I was indeed 15 miles away, not just down the street.When I was made aware of this mistake however, it was too late and my vehicle had already been towed. But luckily I found out before the shop inspected my vehicle. So, I called the shop immediately to explain what happened and the person on the phone (alex) was not receptive to this concern that I had.I was willing to allow them to service my vehicle until Alex was becoming aggravated and pushing the blame on to me. Each time I thought the conflict was clearly communicated, Alex would begin to bring it up again as an attempt to pass blame on to me or get the last word.This conversation became abusive when alex began to push blame more and more, place me on hold abruptly, hang up on me etc.... this was simply an aversion to constructive criticism that would help him become better with servicing the public, that turned into an abusive situation.I eventually was able to tell him that I will not be having them service my vehicle.This is because, he left no room in the conversation for me.I told him I couldnt speak to him,- this was not a demand, it was an observation. He was talking over me and becoming aggravated and eventually, yelled at me to get my car towed and do it myself before he hung up.So, I decided to call the aamco that would normally service my vehicle in Lake Park and tell them the situation.This was the normal customer service experience I was looking for. Marie said she would call the Lake Worth location and arrange to have my vehicle moved to them. When she called me back she told me we were all set, the only thing I needed to do was call the Lake Worth location and pay them the towing fee in order for them to release my vehicle.When I called the Lake Worth location the same person answered the phone and when I said who I was he replied oh you wont speak to me and then placed me on a long hold after the long hold -he picked up the phone and said sorry theres no one here that can talk to you right now. Immediately before he hung up, I told him that I simply needed to pay for the towing fee in order to release my vehicle. So he put me on a long hold again making me wonder do I need to call the police in order to get my property back? He came onto the phone again and told me that he would take my payment only if I have a debit card, I replied yes I have a debit card and instead of the original $100 Towing fee, he charged me $125. When I asked him why is there now a price difference he told me that Im being charged $25 for the conflict and for the fact that they were no longer going to be servicing my vehicle.This is retaliation and punishment for the conflict to begin with. The reality is that without the conflict of not being able to communicate to this person, this shop would have worked on my car.The reality is that, in my first call to attempt to arrange Towing to the Lake Park location, there was either negligence on the part of the customer service agent to identify my needs, or my vulnerability in that moment was taken advantage of.I should not have been told that there was no one that would talk to me, the reality is that this came from the fact that no one would let me speak or hear me to begin with even though they already had my vehicle. This is so abusive.Luckily I was able to pay the $125 but the extra cost wasnt just the $25. It was all of the time, effort,  and dignity. This was a traumatic event for me.

This is a CHOP SHOP they will ask you to leave your car over night then when you pick it back up there is more wrong with it than when you drop it off..they will say you have to leave and cant wait for your car then they will keep your car for 3 days or more for services that shouldd take 2 hours came here for an oil change and they had to keep my car and try and charge you over what you need to pay for serviceswill regret using this service this is a CHOP SHOP and the owner is Super RUDE and not professional at all you will be upset if you dont listen to this review ...check my reference i have done quite a few reviews

This was my first time at this AAMCO location and I have to say all the employees I spoke with were very pleasant and professional, however, I’ll have to admit that at first I wasn’t too happy when I dropped my 2011 Jeep off at 7:30 AM and expected the brake repairs to be finished in one day, and it took until 3:00 to get a quote..the gentleman explained that it took so long at their end because they were waiting on a parts supplier quote...I understood that, and he assured me it would be ready by noon the following day...close, but at least it was finished and I am very pleased with the service I received ...Thank You, Alex..and if I’m ever in the area again and need even just an oil change ...I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my vehicles back to you! My daughter and I have taken her very old car to the AAMCO location in Lake Worth for quite a while now. Every time we take it in we expect to hear the worst since the car has taken a toll on us, yet somehow we manage to walk out of there with a fully functioning car and a happy wallet. That’s important because she’s a student living on a student budget and I’m a single mother. The mechanics that work at this AAMCO location really do care about their customers and take their situations into account. They will keep your car going for as long as you need it, while working with you to form payment plans. They inform you of every little step they take before Any repairs are completed and tell you how much the repairs and parts is going to cost; which is very much appreciated seeing as you won’t have any surprise costs when you go pick up your car. It is most definitely worth checking this place out if you need transmission work done. They also offer oil changes, which we have had done and are very happy with, and other car services. I would highly recommend this AAMCO to anyone who needs any type of work done on their car. All around great staff and service. Keep up the good work guys!

After being told by 3 other shops that I need a $3500 transmission repair, turns out all I had was a bad axle. AAMCO Lake Worth took the time to diagnose my Buick properly before jumping at an expensive repair conclusion. At first I didn’t understand why they requested 24 hours to diagnose the vehicle but now I get it. Every other shop told me in 2 hours and they were wrong! Thank God for Alex and Jason. This is my new place for all the cars in my family. My brother just had his vehicle repaired here too. I recommend them highly. Thanks guys!

Had my mothers 2010 Mercury Milan towed to this facility because of the great reviews and in the end it was a great decision.Im a skeptical guy by nature and always have my guard up, especially when it comes to protecting my always-trusting mother.I admit that I had some reservations about whether the work quoted was on the up-and-up. But despite my concerns and false accusations, Jason and Alex remained professional and we worked through my trepidations.Alex explained to me what needed to be done and what was actually done to repair my moms car and put my worst fears at ease. He took me step by step through the entire process when most other places probably would have hung up on me.I would not hesitate recommending this facility. Its clean, organized and you are dealing with top-notch pros in Jason, Alex and their entire staff.

This is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable. We never had to wait to talk to him and he explained everything in clear laymans terms before the work was done. He gave us multiple options and realistic expectations depending on what route we decided to go. Once the decision was made, there were no surprises and everything was fixed to our satisfaction in an expedient manner. He even did a follow up inspection of the work a month later. We will definitely use this shop for all of our repairs from now on!

Hi, wanted to let you know your employees are always very courteous to those who live on Cambridge but you should probably put up a chain/gate/anything on the empty lot you bought during off hours, had to call the cops out on an unauthorized vehicle who I doubt was in there for legit purposes (ie lights on, motor (pun intended) running. Also whoever is ramming the speed limit sign.......can you not?

Avoid at all cost, this place will charge you nearly double what the other shops are charging for the same repair.Manager is very rude .

Im not going to leave a full-on autobiography about what happened, but I will say the service that I received this week at the LW AAMCO was 95% unsatisfactory. Wasnt happy with my visit and I was completely disappointed with the service that I did NOT receive. The only person I will compliment within my complaint was the counter girl who worked there on Saturday. She helped me out, was nice and friendly. Thank you receptionist girl, at the front counter.Extremely disappointed with the outcome of AAMCOs service.

I’m so fortunate to have found Jason and Alex of AAMCO Lake Worth. The transmission on my Chevy Impala took a dump on me. While I am still making payments on my Impala I had to get it fixed. Not only did AAMCO Lake Worth finance my repair with no credit check they negotiated with the bank to give me a 4 month holiday on my car note! Who does this! Our experience was surprisingly painless. The work was quick and efficient. Was hoping to stop by for Oil Change, but I read someone was charge $80 for Synthetic Oil Change. True Indeed, that is a bit high for an Oil Change and the Respondent to that Review was at least honest enough not to deny or debate that.Now I’m afraid of what getting Coolant or anything else look like.I’m sure this shop is very skilled at what they do. However, when the simplest transactions are overpriced, it steers off new potentially loyal clients.

Recently, I took my 13 year old car to Alex and the team at AAMCO in Lake Worth. This vehicle is used for my business. When it is down, Im not making money. After taking a prompt look at my car, we discussed the high priority repair items and I gave the go ahead to perform the work.The time it took for repairs was faster than I expected. And, after taking a good look and a test drive, I could see the quality of work was spot-on. My car has been going strong for more than a week now and Im able to take care of business again. In some ways, my car is running better than it has in a long time.I can confidently recommend this AAMCO location if youre looking for the job to be done correctly and at a reasonable price. I am on vacation in Palm Shores, Florida; my trucks starter went out late Friday afternoon and I had my truck towed to their shop. Probably the most honest mechanic Ive ever been to. Recently went there to get my brake pad/rotors changed, cost less than the other places Ive been to. Also, unlike other places they use quality parts. They also take care of their customers like no other place Ive ever been to....I was super excited to know that they were able to finance my entire repair. The fact that they didnt need a credit check to finance my repair was outstanding. Like who does that? They do at Aamco of lake worth. I will never go anywhere else again and thats a fact. Took my car in for a simple transmission check which turned out to be fine. Ended up getting some other things serviced. They said they recharged my AC because it was low, but it was serviced not six months before. A week later it doesnt blow cold anymore. Alex really knows what hes doing, he helped me with a transmission problem that other mechanics FAILED to find, but Alex took his time to make sure that not only the transmission was running smoothly but all other components were functioning properly. He offered me a great price and made sure that the transmission really needed to be repaired instead of jumping to conclusions. He is an honest mechanic and loves what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone having car troubles.
