Town and country has earned my business. Everyone there and mark kept me up to date on everything that was going on they are very honest people. For once I found a place that does work properly and I have no issues. I will be back for further maintenance

Belt on my car broke off as I’m 7 hours away from home. These guys kindly fit me in to get it fixed. We’re super nice and efficient! Definitely recommend bringing your car to them

My husband has been using Town and Country for a long time and he has always found them reliable. We have been there a few times in the last month and I was able to experience the professionalism. They were able to easily explain to me the car repairs and got it done in a quick time. We also purchased a used car and they did a very detailed check on the used car. I would highly recommend this local business for your car.

I had a situation with my car where it wouldnt start, but had a fully charged battery. I made an appointment pretty quickly with this business. I needed it fixed fast but also needed it fixed correctly. I could have went to one of the chain style stores, but with those places you are opening a box of cracker jacks. Sometimes youd get a good box, other times itd be full of those cracker jacks that are hard as rocks and break your teeth. I chose town and country because of its high reviews. The bill turned out to be a bit higher than what I was able to afford for all of the repairs that were needed. They worked with me to get the most important things done, and then also to my surprise, fixed a broken battery terminal that I didnt think was going to be fixed! : ) I was pleased with the work and with the speed of the work. Also, one thing I thought was great and Ive not seen before; They were able to send me my invoice securely through my phone, and I was able (not required) to pay it online! I loved this feature, because it took away that awkward reading the card over the phone, maybe they hear you right maybe they dont. Maybe they repeat the numbers back when your not expecting it and you talk over each other. These may be silly things, but they are now a thing of the past!.. I want to see this in flower shops, call and place your order over the phone pizza shops and other food shops! Way to embrace the technology! Ill probably go here again when I have another similar situation.

I wanted to give a big thank you To John and the crew for operating with integrity. Many people probably know all to well this industry has some people that prey on the uninformed or not mechanically inclined. Twice I have brought over quotes from other shops (where I bought tires and they rotate free or obviously I would have just went directly to Town and Country). Recently one quote said the battery needed to be replaced and after John checked it he had said it still had 85% life and did not need replacement. I sincerely appreciate the quality work, timely service, and them not replacing things just to add to the repair ticket cost. A family member recommended I take my vehicle there and I am thankful they did. I want to provide my recommendation to anyone that reads this.

Mark was super nice to me on the phone. And they got my baby fixed in like a day and they drove me home AND picked me up. My new fav mechanics in lansing. HIGHly recommend!!

Im not a mechanic and thats why I come here! Some sort of electrical issue, nearly causing stalls during driving. I understand electrical issues are notoriously difficult to diagnose, Town & Country did everything from physical hands on checking to researching the issue online, got the part I needed from Grand Rapids and had everything up and running before lunch. I had dropped it off at business opening.They are professional, knowledgeable, and above all friendly. Make some engine noises and they will help you figure out the problem. They can even send you very specific info via email or your smart phone with pictures and recommended fixes. Ive come here for other issues and have always been impressed with their diligence and promptness.

Quality repair at a fair price and knowledgeable guys with easygoing friendly attitudes who don’t tack on extra repairs that are not necessary...what more can I ask for? I have followed Thomas wherever he’s worked because he’s honest and great at what he does. That’s what led me to Town & Country and Brady and the rest of the guys.

Its great to have an honest place to take our vehicles.

They dont like engine work. Called and told them what the issue was, confirmed the make and model of the vehicle and asked if they did the engine work and would perform the service, they said yes. Dropped it off and they looked at it and said they now wouldnt do the work because of the make and model of the vehicle (but they knew what it was going in). I understand their POV on why, but I am disappointed because I explicitly explained the issue to them before dropping my car off. Charged be 100 bucks to run codes I already knew about, and didnt even bother to look for a service alert which was issued by GM last year about this issue. Also charged be 50 bucks to quote a brake replacement I already knew I needed, when my question was how much would brakes cost. Out $150 and nothing new was found or done to the vehicle. Buyer beware.

It was so easy! I explained a couple things I wanted checked & they were able to figure it all out so quickly. They text you what’s wrong & the estimate with proof. By far the best & easiest experience I’ve ever had with an auto shop. On top of that everybody was so friendly & I had 3 services done & got my car back so quickly. 10/10 recommend.

The guys got my car right in for a break job, they were professional and quick. The man at the counter told me the brakes weren’t terrible yet and I could get more months out of them. I had them changed anyway, but appreciated the honesty. I’ll definitely be going back next time I need a repair!!

Mark was awesome to work with and talk to. Gave very good description of what was needed, and provided fair prices. Even at the end of the day when I picked my car up, all of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My fuel injectors needed to be cleaned which I never would have guessed, and I could tell pulling out of the shop that my car was running better. Don’t waste your time or money at the big name shops trying to make a buck off of you. This is the best shop in Lansing, your car will be taken care of and they don’t try to push ridiculous things on you, and zero pressure when they recommend a service that you want to wait on to have done. Fantastic experience on what is normally a stressful situation thank you to the town and country team!

Ive been bringing my car here for about 5 years now since Ive moved to Lansing. They are always honest and transparent about everything. Cost, what needs to be done, when they can do it, etc. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

Had a great first experience with these guys. Everyone was super friendly. My car has multiple problems I knew about which they identified and fully explained to me. They were upfront and honest with the quotes for each issue. They didn’t pressure me into anything, even after I decided not to fix the most expensive issue. They were even honest about the consequences of not fixing that issue (they admitted it wasn’t dangerous). Will definitely be making these guys my go to mechanics!

They towed my vehicle for me from my apartment very last minute. I was having electrical issues with my car and I was sure something expensive was going to be needed. I got a quote from Handz On imports of $400 just to diagnose my Subaru. Town and Country only charged me $94 and fixed the issue for around $20 and I had my car back the same day. If you have a foreign car, don’t be fooled into thinking only foreign shops can work on it. They over charge for everything. Town and country has made me a very happy customer!

The Town and Country crew has been fantastic to work with over the last 4 years. They provide great service. ALL of the folks Ive interacted with from management to the technicians are knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I always feel that I get a good value for my money. I refer friends and family to them whenever possible. I also love the shuttle to/from work when dropping off my vehicle there at the shop. Very convenient!

I thought I was loyal to my other auto shop, but coming to Town and Country, all that has changed. I will only take my car here from here on out. They not only told me what repairs were needed and when, but they were able to prove the other place all wrong. Their prices are fair and their honesty goes above all measure. Theyve gained another loyal customer!

This past week I have utilized Town and Country twice - both unexpectedly and they delivered phenomenal service each time. On Tuesday, just prior to closing time, they stayed late to do a repair on my vehicle before I headed out of town when most companies would not do so. Today (Sunday) I needed someone to unlock my car as I inadvertently locked my keys in them while shopping. 7 minutes later they arrived and had me on my way - amazing. Exceptional service and I highly recommend them to others.

My mom has been going here for years and swears by how helpful they are. She drove my car an hour to come here (as its close to her work) and they did a whole bunch of stuff to my car. The air was charged and I realized the next day that it wasnt working. When my mom called them, I was expecting this to be a huge headache. Instead, they were very apologetic, wanted to fix it but having my mom take my car again wasnt feasible so they readily agreed to refund that part of the bill. Amazing! No hassle. Just for that, I can see why my mom likes them so much!

The service is alright. they do make an effort to get you in quickly although they seem to take note if you have a newer vehicle. Suspiciously if youre vehicle is newer and you take it here, things will begin to systematically go wrong afterward in an otherwise perfectly fine vehicle. Great place for older cars though that dont run on too many electrical systems.

My car broke down on the highway and through AAA they called town and country and sent a tow truck, to get me and my car. They hooked up my car and the tower introduced himself as Tim, this was my first experience with towing so I was feeling very sad because I was on my way to a Cross country meet. Tim was very personable and made me feel better. He dropped me off at my house and tried to help me with my car. Thats great service and hes an even greater person.

Not sure what I like better about Town and Country, the employees or the knowledge they have. The honesty of what actually needs to be done and how long I could wait on something is beyond appreciated. When buying our new (used) car, they helped us look over all of our potentials and helped us find the perfect one. Wouldnt take my vehicles any where else now.

They fixed the breaks on my wifes car for a great price and they were very friendly and explained everything. When we came to pick up the car they showed us a video about what they did and showed us the parts they replaced. Overall just a pleasant experience.

Town and Country has come through for me time and time again. Brady is beyond helpful, and has done things from simply demonstrating the problems Ive had on my car to me, to actually looking at Craigslist listings and helping me with useful advice when I was shopping for a new (used) vehicle. These guys spend the time to make you feel at ease with what is undoubtedly one of the more stressful situations in our lives, and I would recommend them to any and everybody I know.

Great place to go if you want to be threatened and kicked while youre down. Truely greedy and convinced they are the best in town.Update- after placing this review, the owner/person who I had dealt with the first time, decided to call and leave me a voicemail. To my very suprise he threatened me (a 22 year old PREGNANT woman) again. This time threatening to, and I quote, make my life miserable and to post false reviews against my personal business. This voicemail will be recorded and added to this review. When someone asks you why they are being charged what they are being charged threatening to charge them more rather than showing them the bill Id unacceptable no matter the circumstances. I understand this place deals with unhappy people probably everyday but lashing out on customers is ridiculous.
