Vertex provides the best computer service in the Lansing area.The staff is informative, thorough and interested in fixing problems. Ive been taking in our computers for several years and have always received the best of care. The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. Marty is outstanding!

The service and workers are great but what I don’t like is I feel like I was lied to/swindled when it came to price. I’ve had my laptops screen replaced before and it was below $200. I leave these guys my laptop and come to find when I come to pick it up it’s over $300 because there Labor is flat out $149 or something.plus they said my screen was around $149 as well which I feel is a lie because I asked where they get there parts and I was told a warehouse and sometimes Amazon. So being the consumer I am I check amazon for my laptop screen come to find its $50 :/ for a acer nitro 5 screen Seems ridiculous to me it’s not like I was asking them to go into my internals like my hard drive and etc it was a screen replacement. So now until I can drum up $300 I’m out a laptop for my work/gaming. All I have to say about the situation now is thank you Vertex for the decent customer service but in the future could you reach out to you’re customers if you plan on hiking up the price of the repair for what ever reason please contact you’re customer and seek permission because not everyone has $$$ pouring out there ears.

I came to this establishment to have my busted screen replaced. The salesperson was not listening to my request for repair. Instead, he launches into a speech about how much cheaper it would be to buy a new system.He then explains that people get mad at him because he tells them that they should just buy a new computer.I did not come to hear his opinion, nor did I come to listen to why he gets flack from people when he tells them this.I came to get my computer screen fixed. As I turned to leave, he says, “have a better day” sarcastically.Assuming to know what people want is closer to the real reason why he turns people off.Treating people like you know what’s best for their situations is not The jurisdiction of the salesperson: it is the customer’s.No, I do not want to pay $300 to have my computer fixed, but I would like to be heard and treated as with respect. In this case listened to first, and not feeling disrespected as the salesperson calls out to me that I should have a better day.In short, V.E.R.T.E.X.: Very Efficient Recalcitrant Technichians get an X!

These guys are awesome! I have taken my laptop to them several times over the past few years and they always do a great job! I wouldnt take my computer anywhere else. They do good work and their prices are fair.

I called a few places to see if they could help me with a laptop issue. The competitors were not friendly on the phone and couldnt fit me in the schedule for a week. I called Vertex and they were very pleasant to talk to. They told me I could drop it off that day (it was already 4pm). I got a call the next morning around 10am that it was finished! My laptop works great now and it didnt cost me much at all. I am very pleased.

My computer stopped running and I took it in to Vertex Computer. Logan was the person who helped me and he was able to diagnose the problem right away. He had it fixed in an hour. I had not backed up my pictures and he took the extra time to back up at least a 1,000 pictures (at no extra charge) for me on a scan stick, since I did not know how to do it. Their service and prices are the best. Logan was incredible to work with and knew exactly what he was doing. He was also very patient and kind to me as I was so upset as I dont know much about computers. I plan to have them build me a new computer when its time. All the people are friendly and honest. I brought my laptop in to have the trackpad buttons put back on. They fixed it all up and were not going to charge me anything but I still felt like I had to pay them $20 because they did such a great job Had a great attitude and extremely helpful. if theres something I cant fix Im going to take it to them first.

I have relied on vertex for my business and personal needs for more than 10 years. I rate their service as excellent. When work stops because of a computer problem, that problem has to be fixed fast. Waiting for a machine to ship to a warehouse and then to a maker is a last option. Vertex fixes most machines in one day and I am back to work. The people behind the desk know me, treat me well, give me an honest price for great service.

Merchandise isnt priced, youll stand around for a while before being acknowledged while staff converse among themselves, $17 for a repackaged VGA cable is an outrageous price. After visiting for the first time, I will never return. Stores who pass off repackaged or used products as brand new top of the line are among the worst in the IT business. A 6ft. VGA cable should never retail for more than $10 at a brick and mortar. Plan ahead and shop online.

They are a computer store that cannot even set up their phones correctly... Awesome to know. Also when their phones are working they never answer. They apparently hate customers.

Marty was great, he had my computer turned around in less than 24 hours with the right fix. I would recommend Vertex to anyone.

Avoid. This place is a joke. Since they dont have prices on most of their stock, you have to inquire. And when you inquire, be ready for a laugh. My impression is that this is a business that preys on people without enough savvy to know any better.

Typing this on my laptop which was unusable for over 6 months- took it to Vertex after a suggestion from a friend and they had it up and running the same day. Service was affordable and friendly as well!! Thanks, guys :)

Wanted $99 deposit to even look at my system and tried to tell me i need to replace my disc drive on my Xbox when the only problem was a disc stuck inside. Do not go here for video game console repair.

These guys were great had an issue with my laptop not charging they did a quick troubleshoot fixed it and didnt even charge me service like this is rare in its day and age

Awesome service and employees. I was looking to get a new mobo and cpu at a reasonable cost and they were flexible. Guy even mounted the cpu on the mobo for me! New pc is running great!

I decided to build my own gaming PC a while ago and when I built it I realized that the driver dvd for my gpu was missing, and couldnt find the drivers after days of scouring the internet, there were also a few problems with the case that i got. Anyway I brought it into Vertex and they were able to fix everything and was able to pick it back up the same day.

They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to have it done by & for the price they said it would cost. Cant ask for anymore than that!

Terrible service. I took my iPod in for repair because I had broke the glass and I get it back and just over a month ago. And it broke again and I called to see what they could do and they can only waive the repair fee that cant waive it all. I will not refer this place nor will I ever go there again.
