They are the best Mexican food in Lansing hands down. You would have no idea theres a little kitchen in the back.

The aisles are pretty cramped for a tall guy with a walker but the cashier even held the door for me when I left.Update: a friend and I went there to get lunch, and the food is amazing. I got tacos; barbacoa, pastor and chorizo. Best tacos Ive had in Lansing so far!

Very friendly, easy to order. There is a flat screen with all the dishes on it, so you can see what each menu item looks like. Plentiful helpings so dont over do it. I ordered a quesadilla and burrito. Could not finish both.

Theyre pretty good store l. I go there every now and then to get the items that im cant find at Walmart or Kroger they always have most of the items I be looking for.

For the rare times I come here whenever I visit Lansing mainly for their tacos I was disappointed. I discovered La Estrellita many years ago and I was quite impressed with the tacos then. They were Muy grande! I dont recall when I was last there but yesterday I stopped by and ordered lengua and Barbacoa. They were ok but was half the size they were before for quite a bit more $$. I wish they kept them the same size even if I had to pay more. Thats the only reason why I went there. Now I guess you can say nothing stands out anymore with their tacos. I did try the chicken tamales which was still hot and they were good. But if you are visiting Grand rapids, make sure to check out Bedollas on Division for really good tamales. The weekend is the best time to go since they have more selection. No tacos.

I mean.... why wouldnt ya. Lunch counter... yep. Barbacoa burritos. Tamales? Great. Well seasoned lots of filling. Salsas in the cooler kinda by the lunch counter? Yeah. Try ALL of them. Salsa Taquera is REALLY good. Best spot around if you like mexican food.

Best. Tacos. Ever. If I was going to condense this review down to just three words, those would be the ones Id choose. Ive eaten at quite a few Mexican restaurants, and never have the tacos been better than the ones I had here. Even if youre not in market for groceries, this place is worth visiting just for a bite to eat. Theres a wide variety of styles to choose from, ranging from ground beef to tripe, so you can play it safe or be adventurous! (I tried the chicharron, tripe, and tongue tacos, and they were all fantastic).The groceries are excellent too, and you can find lots of obscure ingredients for any Mexican recipe imaginable. Theres lots of fun candies and snacks. Oh, and they have Bohemia beer, which is hard to find but arguably the best Mexican beer (if youre asking me, anyways).No matter your culture or heritage, there is delicious excitement here for everyone. Highly recommended!

I come from saginaw as much as i can. I enjoying spending money here. Nothing like this at home town.

The al pastor was dry, bland, and just flat out difficult to eat without a beverage.I also bought a tub of guacamole from the deli, it was $7 and some change. When I got it home, the pit was in the guacamole. I have never once, from any deli, or market, bought guacamole and had the heavy pit included in the weight of a tub of guacamole that I paid damned near $8 for.Needless to say, I felt pretty ripped off, and will just go to another market next time.

Rude staff.. bought a chicharon and was driving from jackson so asked for some napkins i also asked for a little bit more sause and both of the worker were wispering about it even tho i was right there listening to them. one of them said i had to pay an extra dollar for literally not even 3 spoons of salsa witch the botle cost about 3 dollars

Great Mexican market, they have a wide variety of Mexican products, such as meats spices and pastries and prepared foods, I ordered three chicken tacos and six tamales and a beef burrito which is very huge and filling and the food was very delicious, the service was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I wss at this location today they had a wide variety of latino products. yet i was dissapointed with the butcher and his butchering of the cut of meat arrachera style the meat was quality but he did a terrible job did not remove membrane and trim i purchaced 8lbs it was so fatty unacceptable usually i get 5lbs after they trim 8lbs properly real lwt down.

Tried a few tacos from the kitchen and was delighted by the quality -- they were some of the best Ive gotten outside of Mexico. Store seemed well-stocked and the staff were all friendly and courteous. Cant wait to come back again!

Fantastic Mexican food prepared authentically. Its not a restaurant-- it is a grocery store where they sell tacos out of the back essentially. Just keep in mind that youll have to eat it at home. Fantastic food at a reasonable price.

Nice ppl, except one lady she is so rude and dogs everybody that walks in. I think shes new Ive never seen her before. Flirty with guys and giving them items cheaper. Talked to the owner and will take action. But other than that this place has everything you need to cook your Mexican food.
