I took it in...had to have new calipers, break pads and rotors put on. I asked them to look over my vehicle...tie rods, sway bar...everything! He said everything looked great. Needed my blower motor looked at...it wasnt working properly...apparently they dont have the proper equipment to work on such a thing and I needed to be brought to a dealership....a 13 year old car 🤦 found a mechanic shop to look at it...not only did they figure out the problem and are replacing it but Im getting new tires put on AND muffler man failed to notice that both ball joints were going... at the front of my car! Really guys? You have lost a valued customer...I will no longer be coming back. Congratulations on your $1,300 loss as well. Glad my hard earned money will be going to a place that actually keeps an eye out on their customers and pays attention to everything! I have given you guys multiple chances in the past but I wont be anymore. Thanks again guys for making my decision that much easier to not give you another chance.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would, I never have been more humiliated and appalled in my entire life. My car battery died long story short, I had to park it in their parking lot to get out of the road. I purchased a battery from somewhere else with the help of my family and came back as quick as possible. I figured I may as well ask if they could put the battery in, long story short the mechanic told us that it was an alternator issue when that wasnt even close to being the case. Later on we found out that IT WAS the battery. My boyfriends father is a master mechanic and told us it was definitely the battery. We told this to the mechanic in the shop, he then proceeded to tell my boyfriend that my boyfriends dad was wrong without even looking at our car. All my boyfriend said is he is not wrong, and then the mechanic proceeded to kick us out. We went back to my family members car to wait to get my car towed to somewhere else and then he proceeded TO CALL THE POLICE ON US, when all we were doing was waiting for the tow truck to take our car away. I will be telling my family and friends about this and I recommend that NOBODY take their business here. I know I will never use any service here(this was my first time here and last time here) and neither will any of my family and friends.

When calling them they answered quickly and professionally, also responded that they would accommodate my request as much as possible.

Advertise on their building for free engine check light diagnosis but they laughed and told me to go to autozone if I just wanted that kind of service. First and last time I go to these douschbags. Their bays were empty and two mechanics were out smoking and joking. It was an hour before close. What a joke

I gave them 2 stars for quick service only. They charged me $225 for a flex pipe. Then told me I needed a catalytic converter which would have cost me around $2200

We bought our own parts and they put them on for us... did our brakes... rotors and calipers within 40mins....both sides...

False advertising! I took my ford explorer there 3 weeks ago, asked them to replace upper ball joints, look into my electrical issue because none of my gauges work, and to look into my ac unit, with a full inspection to see if anything else needs work. 1. I did not receive any inspection information, 2. They cannot replace the ball joints because I will need an alignment (above the garage doors says Alignments) and they dont have an alignment machine so I asked if they can do the ball joints and Ill get an alignment somewhere else they replied no. 3. My gauges not working they said they cannot do anything for it because they dont do electrical stuff ( above the entry door says electrical) 4. My ac unit not working they said it could cost anywhere between$125-$4,000 to fix so I told them I would just come pick my truck back up because they cant do anything for it. Will not recommend even for oil changes.

Great staff!! Prices are affordable and they dont take advantage. Only pay for what needs to be fixed. If it doesnt need to be replaced, they tell you. So honest!!!

I have interacted with this shop 3 times recently. All three times, with three separate vehicles, they told me that my vehicle was too bad/too old and I should just get a new one. I dont know how they have business if rust or age keeps them from working on cars in Michigan.If the owner here tells you to get rid of your car, get a second opinion.

Look it just doesnt get better than this small repair shop. If they can do the work (and they dont do everything), you should have them do it. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, they are very honest, and they are quick. I just wish their level of service would be duplicated by others!!

Just got a muffler delete with a straight pipe. Guys did a great job. I was in and out in 30 mins. I would recommend them for your exhaust needs

They advertise front or rear brakes for $50 went to get brakes replaced and they refused the service bc I wouldnt agree to the additional services they recommended which would have cost $500 which frankly during a pandemic I dont have. My brakes were the most important thing. They refused to touch my car unless I agreed, so I left.

Wish I could give a positive review, but when I went up to get an estimate for a custom exhaust on my truck, the manager was very rude. Asking if I only wanted an estimate, my reply was if its cheap enough Ill have it done. His reply was we dont do cheap! and he slide the work order across the table and told me to go someplace else. I tried to make light of it, thinking he was half joking and replied I wanted quality too, but he just told me to get out. Fist time in 5 years Ive been in the place since the new owners too over. Last time too I guess. Maybe he was just having a bad day. even the receptionist was shocked at his attitude.

Kayla has always been friendly professional and helpful so for that Im thankful!However I always brought my old vehicle here and once I bought a new vehicle I continued to do soI bought this vehicle several months ago, after buying it I did a few repairs myself and inspected the vehicle further to my satisfaction it was a good buy no engine lights and no serious issuesI KNOW this.I take my vehicles here for oil changes only when I do not have the time (with a newborn and trying to prep a house to sell Ive had very little time) I asked them to take a look underneath since they would have it up mainly just because they could get a better look at certain thingsThey quoted me a flex pipe and heat shield not something I was terribly worried about,immediately after I left their parking lot my engine light is on (mind you I drive it every day before this for months no issue and no light as I said I inspected it there were no preexisting issues)Only one other time in my life has that happened after leaving a different shop it was shady then and it was shady nowCoincidence doesnt have timing like thatI will repair my vehicle on my own and will not return to this business again based on the reviews I read I had no interest in even attempting to fix the situation with the manager nor would I trust them to take my vehicle without my supervisionI URGE EVERYONE NOT TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Oil changes dont trigger engine lights and when you leave a shop and a light comes on 9/10 times your an idiot for going back to that shop dont let them get you too

Went to get a quote on have some parts replaced. The lady at the counter was great and friendly but the mechanic that i spoke with was rude and said he couldnt use my parts i purchased because they were purchased online parts even though they were from a reputable online parts company.Ill never go back there again. Other shop down the road had no issue with installing the parts.

Called up here and tried to explain to the guy what my problem was. He started cursing at me and told me I was trying to tell him how to do his job. I called back and apologized telling him thats not what im trying to do, just explain what the problem is. He told me he didnt care and that if I called them again he would have the police call me. I also told him this was not professional at all and he thought it was. I will never call this muffler man for anything let alone have them fix my car. If this is how they treat all there customers Im surprised they are still in business

What can I say about Jerry and his crew. I recently had a problem with my car and Jerry went above and beyond taking care of it. My family and I all continue to go to him for every little car problem that occurs in our family. I drive all the way from Lake Orion just so my wife and I can take our cars to Jerry. I would highly recommend Jerry to any of my friends in the Lapeer area. The English dictionary doesn’t have enough kind words in it to describe Jerry and his crew. They’re fast and efficient which are two qualities that are difficult to find for a car repairman.

Great place for car repairs. Everything is first come, first served, so you may have to wait if theyre busy, but its totally worth it. Theyre friendly and honesty. They walked me under my car and showed me what was wrong (two brackets missing from my muffler) and told me the price ($40).If you need someplace you can trust, this is the place to go.

Been going there for over 10 years took my 06 Explorer in for an exhaust system, I didntshop around because Jerry usually did me right!! $480 later it was done!! I thought was a little high, so I called Traceys Castle in marlette he said usually the muffler is only thing that needs replacing, but if 2 pipes and OEM muffler need replacing then $300!!! Well, Jerry you got me this time but NEVER again!! So before you do like me & get totally RIP off call around FIRST!!

Every single time I go here, my issues are resolved. Unlike most shops, Jerry and the staff make you feel like youre equal even when youre like me and have zero mechanic knowledge or intuition.

I had a problem with battery light staying on & afraid of driving my vehicle this way. I did call Jerry he said he would diagnose the problem. So I made the trip without stalling, yea. I was waited on in 5 minutes, my vehicle was pulled into the bay in 10 minutes, diagnosed in 15 minutes, & presented a quote I was happy with. Jerry also stated a time of completing the repair, I returned 10 minutes early thinking I would be waiting a while, but I was wrong vehicle was parked in the completed service area! Great surprise!Happy customer....great service....perfect price...= another repeat customer. That is how Muffler Man received my 5 star rating. Thanks for taking the time to read my long comment.

Took my GMC truck in for an exhaust manifold replacement quote. Talked to Jerry about quoting the manifold replacement and installing a performance aftermarket exhaust all at one time. He shot me a price and I couldnt say no. I scheduled it for 3 weeks later and he stuck with that price, NO prior written quote! A few hours later, my manifold is replaced and the custom exhaust is installed. Sounds amazing and he saved me at least $300 by even doing it myself!! I will always refer friends and family to Muffler Man and will continue to have my exhaust repairs performed ONLY by them!!

I took my vehicle into this place with many recommendations by others to have some Auto work done I was given an estimate of $250 to do one Muffler ( and I had the part so they didnt need to buy it ) then I had other issues that needed to be taken care of and when I asked how much they would charge to take care of that I was told that they wouldnt be interested in doing that. I took my vehicle to another Auto repair shop and was charged only $100 for the muffler and the additional work for my air filter box. Theyre overpriced, rude and I have never in my life had a mechanic tell me he was not interested in doing work for a customer!!! I will not go back to this place and if anyone ever asked me what I think of them I will give them the truth and recommend another place. The only reason why I gave it a one-star is because I couldnt go lower!!!
