The last thing my wife and I wanted was to go into a mattress store and talk to a sales person. We were going to just buy a mattress online but we really wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with our purchase so we decided to go in and try them out.We were blown away by the staff and how helpful and easy going they were. We felt zero pressure, the staff was very knowledgeable, we were able to determine what kind of firmness we needed in a mattress, and they were very respectful. On top of all of that, we were able to save more money on our purchase by going into mattress firm than using promo codes & sales ourselves online though various mattress websites.We were able to get our order the next day and they not only delivered everything, but they also set up the frame and bed. The delivery team was respectful and professional. I will only go to Mattress firm for my future mattress purchases.

I went in to Mattress Firm and the customer service was the best I have ever experienced. The associate who helped us was so knowledgeable about the product and was able to educate us about the technology behind bedding. It was really a fun experience to be informed about the different types of options that we could have. I really felt valued as a customer and very informed when we left with our bed. It was a great experience.

I came in to look for beds for my daughters. The sales assistant moved mattresses and showed the options to my girls. They were able to try out all the beds until they found just what they wanted. Since they didn’t have our preference in stock, the sales assistant called their other stores until we found what we needed. I was able to go pick them up that day. My girls slept very well :)

Respectful staff. Assisted me in looking for a bed. They know their stuff, and if they dont, they look into it. Still, I cant help but wonder why some of these beds feel way overpriced for what it is.

We came into the store close to closing time hoping to just try a few beds and come back the next day. Our salesman, Will, was so patient and knowledgeable about which beds provided what we needed. My wife and I have been looking for new mattresses for months now and decided to stop by the Layton Mattress Firm on Main St the other night (1/1/21). Will greeted us as we came in an after explaining what we were looking for, proceeded to show us the mattresses that would most fit our requirements. We found many that felt comfortable and spent the next hour moving around the showroom trying to decide. As many shopping for a mattress can attest, you never really know how it will work for you until youve slept on it for 4-6 weeks. Will informed us that we had the 120 day trial period, so that really helps. We have not taken delivery yet, but I can say that the customer service was excellent and low pressure and more concerned with our satisfaction. Will was able to work a fantastic deal, so we included their motorized base as well. We felt very good about the pricing, service, Will and decided to proceed with our purchase. I will post again once we have had time to try out our new beds. Highly recommend this store location for the service and pricing though! We saved $2055 on a $7400 purchase.

So we were just beginning our shopping and going to look at a few stores. We walked in and were greeted immediately. William helped us in Layton, he asked our budget and took us straight to our options. He went out of his way to really ensure we knew all of our options. The sales associate was very helpful with finding a good mattress for me. She went through the instructions very throughly and answered my many questions. They had a large selection of sizes, brands, and firmness. The store was kept clean and they sanitized the pillows I used which it’s good to see customer safety.The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is she seemed to be the only employee helping customers while the other two were at the desk most of the time. They’ve could’ve been doing computer work, but it looked like they could’ve been more helpful.

The mattress is fine, but the honesty and help from the staff is very low quality. When my wife and I went in the lady that was helping us was showing more cleavage than I see at a swimming pool. Once we got home we realized that we forgot to show them a coupon. I called and a young man answered and said that he would apply the coupon to our order and we would see the credit within a week. Well its been two weeks since then and nothing. We also have still not received the frame that we paid for either. What are you going to do to fix this Mattress Firm?

You know how they say the customer is always right? Mattress Firm doesn’t believe in this policy. They literally believe the opposite.The sales rep was great. She was very knowledgeable. When I got my mattress though, I thought she had been deceptive to me. I had bought a medium/soft mattress and this one felt like I was laying on a hardwood floor. Hard as a rock. I thought it was deceptive sales tactics. Turns out, the manufacturer put a medium tag on a hard mattress. It only took 28 days, AMPLE and OBVIOUS evidence, 10 customer service reps, tweeting at them, and 3 managers, for them to finally agree to swap out my mattress. But they blamed me and said it was me just not wearing it in enough. Every phone call I was on, they acted like my concerns weren’t valid concerns. They asked me to jump and walk on my mattress for 10 minutes a night to loosen it up. And to heat my room up to loosen the foam. What kind of company asks you to jump on a mattress for 30 days before considering switching it out? They also refused to let me bring it back to the showroom to show them how rock-hard it was.They delivered the new one today, it’s soft and bouncy. It feels like a pillow, not a rock. And the guy who delivered it literally said, after he picked up the old one, “yeah, that’s the wrong mattress”. They had different firmness, different weight, and different heights. Literally a manufacturing error on their part; they put a soft tag on a hard mattress. And they denied it on every single call.If you get the right mattress, hopefully it’s a 5 star experience. But if you end up in a situation like mine, your life will suck for a whole month. Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. One guy even told me that that kind of error doesn’t happen. What a nightmare. I’d recommend to stay clear from them completely if you can.

I ordered my mattress from Mattress Firm Layton and the associate at the store Lisa was very sweet and helpful on the day of my purchase. I did not want to leave a negative review however, I was told I would receive my mattress almost two weeks ago and it still has not arrived. Everytime I call and speak to a different person at the Layton store and I get a different date for when my mattress will arrive. I spoke to a representative at the warehouse and they were not able to help me either. I understand the pandemic that is going on and its effects, but I just need a realistic timeline for when I will receive what I have purchased.

We felt no pressure to buy but ended up purchasing the Posturepedic Sealy bed because of the fantastic service and information we were given. We were able to test out, learn and discuss what we were looking for without the push to pull the trigger. We weren’t even planning to buy the bed that night, we were just looking! I would recommend to all my friends.

Knowledgeable and non pushy sales staff. We took our time and came back a week later after thinking about it. We had determined our budget at that time and they were willing to accommodate. I have had 29 back surgeries and the most recent was also the biggest. I had a fusion in September. I bought a mattress less than a year ago, but since my surgery, it has become painfully (literally) obvious that it was not good for me anymore. I went in on 25 January and Rex Harrison was working. He listened to my story and I told him what I could afford. He showed me what he would recommend and had me try all of them. He never once rushed me or tried to sell me on one particular mattress. I found one that I liked, but it was not available and he took my information and told me that he would call me if anything like it happened to come up. I was called by him yesterday and he was at the Logan store. He told me that he had found one of the ones that I liked and he was able to get it within my budget. I know that he works on commission. I know that he likely sells many mattresses full price and that he probably didnt earn much on this sale. But HE is what makes the buying experience worthwhile. He was attentive, authentic, and not pushy. I dont know who his manager is, but should you read this, Rex is a VERY good face for your company and is the reason why I will continue to shop at Mattress Firm.

If I could give 0 stars I would.We went in to try out mattresses because I have nocturnal back pain. We tried the beds and were talked into a intellibed-one of the most expensive beds in the store by Ambria. She assured us of the 120-return policy and we ended up purchasing the bed. She also said we had to get their approved bed base because otherwise the warranty and return were Void. We ended up spending $1700 I just the base because thats all they had in stock.The bed was an additional $3000. I was desperate to have my pain go away and figured we could return it if we needed.Two months later...my pain is still there and I dont sleep well on the mattress. 70 days should have been enough time to adjust.I call the start the return process. Come to find out the bed base isnt refundable. I should have made sure so Ill assume responsibility for that. Then we find out there is a charge of $1400 for us to return the bed! I feel ripped off. I feel like this company only cares about making money. The explanation that I received was that we had a 20% restocking fee and a fee to cover the difference of the bed base discount that comes with buying a mattress with it! Im amazed at the absolute horrible customer service! How can they sleep ripping off people like this. I wont be surprised if they go out of business.Go with a company online that has NO fees to return. I tried a nectar bed and it also didnt work for my pain. But, they didnt charge me a penny and refunded me the whole amount within a week. Great customer service.DO MOT BUY A BED FROM MATTRESS FIRM!! They are crooks and DO NOT care if you sleep well or not.

She was extremely professional, personable, kind, understanding, and overwhelmingly helpful. While I would not go to the Layton store itself due to my experience with a single employee, I would not hesitate to deal with Mattress Firm. They are true to their word and proved themselves trust worthy and a solid business who I would definitely go back to. I believe the situation with the employee will be resolved; thus, others should not necessarily avoid the store.The sales associate at the Layton store on 820 N Main St. called me later in the evening several days after my one time visit to the store and chewed me out for not purchasing a bed from him. He condemned me for going to other stores to verify his information, which turned out to be incorrect information, and then choosing to go with a store that offered me a better price and provided me correct information. The employee violated my privacy and trust creating deep concerns about possible future retaliation. Other stores in the area were fine and professional.

I needed a headboard bracket that attached to my useless over priced adjustable base I bought from MF. When I called the store to find out what attachment I needed I was told to look on their website. No other info was provided. I looked on their website which took me nowhere. I tried to chat with their online robot, but it did not have an answer either. I called back and was told theyd look into it but never called me back. I had to search the internet to figure out which one works with my 2016 base and found another mattress company that had it in stock. I will never buy or recommend MF to anyone.

My history and I were looking to get a new king size bed set. We shopped around and got a beautiful bed.We shopped around at four previous stores, and multiple online stores, simply looking for a decent mattress set for a reasonable price. Jared helped us today. He was patient and actually listened to what we wanted. We set a budget and had a reasonable expectation, and he showed us everything above, below and in our range. No pressure sales, I could tell that he was being honest as far as choosing the cover we needed.One Month of searching, and our bed is complete. The warranty and price change guarantee just cant be beat. The exact set we bought was at another store for $150 more than the starting price at Matress Firm! We came in on Memorial Day, got the store discount as well as a Military discount.All the commercials and hype are pretty, but if you want quality, reasonable prices and a staff that cares look no further.

It takes me calling, trying to find out if they have them to get told they have some in stock that were left over from a doorbuster and I could come get them. Its nice to see how they dont care to give the items to someone who was supposed to get them with my mattress 2 weeks ago. Really poor service in the delivery of the product.
