The mechanic Jason is very knowledgeable & willing to walk you through your repairs. Ian the owner cares about the customers. Moises the front end guy always works with you to get you the best prices out there. The work is always top notch. Always happy with the work I get. I would recommend them to anybody who needs reliable and honest work.

I have been taking My Work truck for the last 2 1/2 years and my two other cars there. really bad customer service, most of the stuff they do it’s over priced. I took my work truck Saturday morning they told me they get my brakes done100% they had it all day Saturday they didn’t even check my brakes. I know they worked on cars that were after me. And did not even bother letting me know that they couldn’t work on my truck and I needed to go to work on the next Monday. I know for a fact they charge a lot more when they know it’s a company truck.

I bought new tires a few months ago. The tires we took off were evenly worn, no alignment issues and no cupping. 10,000 miles later they are cupped up and noisy and nothing will be done about. They say the laughs of. I havent hit anything and it is premuch all highway driving. Not happy at all. Wont come back.

I didn’t even have a need with tires and these guys were so great! My internal light wouldn’t turn off even when my car was off, and I was referred to Big O’s. I don’t know the guy’s name, but he was SO nice! He was very careful with my car, and he took the offending light bulb out so that it wouldn’t drain my battery anymore, and completely free of charge! I was so appreciative! Thank you for your kind service!

I have an above average experience with tire shops, and this place is the best. A great personable team that will not give up regardless of the task or the time that it takes. My relationship with them started when I competed several companies in the area for new tires, they were the lowest cost and easiest to work with. Now they are my sole source go-to for everything.

We brought in our SUV for a tour rotation. They were very courteous and got us in pretty quick. Not only did they rotate our tires, they also performed a great inspection on our vehicle and everything was looking real good. We were very happy with the service provided.

This is the best auto shop i have ever visited. Excellent customer service and they genuinely care about their customers. They have the best staff and I know all 3 of my vehicles are in great hands here. I even take them in for routine oil changes even though I can do them myself just to chat with the manager.

Ian was great. Took my car in for a sensor issue he replaced it with an after market one and the lights went out. By the time I came to pick it up the lights came.back on. This happened twice. He finally put in a dodge part which fixed it. He was so great about the issue and worked hard to get it fixed. I will be back if I need a repair or tires. They are great.

Came in right when it opened to check alignment. Was told the man who does alignment wouldn’t be in for 30 minutes, I was willing to wait for him. 45 minutes had gone by and other cars had been worked on before mine. Had to let them know that my car stillhadn’t even been worked on. Otherwise the job was done well.

We have been so impressed with this Big O! I have had problems after problems with my car and Moises has gone above and beyond to help get us quotes and filling us in on what needs to be repaired. They fixed my car very quick and were very thorough. We will be going back for any future repairs (and I’m sure there will be many especially with my luck with cars.) Thanks Big O Layton!

Oh my goodness, what a great tire shop. Jordyn helped me and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. If they found anything wrong with my car, they would walk me back and show me what was going on with it. I never once felt pressured to purchase anything or upgrade. I will definitely be back, and I would recommend this shop to any and everyone!

This place is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I have been here for 4 hours to get a single tire put on the truck. To make things worse the front desk worker gave me another customers credit card.

The guys at the Big-O in Layton are amazing and know their stuff. They took care of everything I needed with fast service and at a great price! They do much more than just tires. Ian made sure my car was in tip-top shape when it was done. Way better service than Ive ever received at any Les Schwab or Discount tire.

Walked in and asked for an alignment, they only did an oil change (i didnt even need an oil change) and i paid $90. Went back in to actually get the alignment done and they charged me another $60. I will not be returning to big O tires.

Ian and his team are amazing! After I lifted my Dodge RAM I had problems with the alignment and they help me in the whole process! They guided me what I should do and what parts I should replace to make my alignment almost perfect. This is Just one of too many reasons I still coming to this place. Always when I need tires for my cars I go to this location. They are friendly and very professional plus always they have a good prices!!! I really recommend this place if you need tires, alignment or any other service!!!

I came in on a Saturday and knew I was taking a risk... but besides it being busy, the service provided to me was utterly unforgettable. Jordyn said hello to me before I had the door open! She made sure I knew exactly what she was talking about, because I know nothing about cars. I’ve been in before and she is always just as helpful and funny! Glad that she is back at the Layton big o tires!

I took my SUV in for an alignment check and Big O told me they would adjust the alignment and call me if it needed any extra work. I never received a call from them so I called after 2 hours and they said my SUV was done. I had to keep asking questions for them to tell me what the result was, which they determined it needed new inner and outer tie rods for a total of approximately $427 in addition to the initial $100 for an incomplete alignment job. I took it to the Toyota dealership to have them look at it, the Toyota dealership found the alignment to be just fine (after Big O adjusted it) and the inner and outer tie rods were in great shape, no need for any work to be done. The dealership checked this and gave it a car wash at no charge. Ill be avoiding Big O for any maintenance in the future.

This Big O location is AMAZING. Not only did they do an amazing job on my oil change and flat tire they did it at impeccable time.I also recommended my Boss to have them take care of his brakes and again impeccable time. Sky did a great job in assisting my boyfriend with our car. Changed the oil and did a very good check up. one of our tires were losing air pressure so we assumed we needed a new one but sky said it could be fixed with a new tire. Glad he was not all about the money and really wanted to help. Will definitely come here again.

This was my second time going here the first was to buy my tires this was to rotate and it will be my last. I specifically asked them not to use a air wrench to take off tires because last time I was there they broke some of the tire studs. and what happened they used the air wrench and broke the studs. The model of car I have you must replace the the bearing and studs. so Now all the sudden have a big bill after going in for a “free” tire rotation. Frustrated to say the least. Not impressed at all and do not recommend. There do seem to be some kind employees there but they will not listen to your concerns they are gonna do it their way. Normally do not write reviews since I know everyone has a bad day at some point but when it happened every time I’ve been there and came away with a big bill When we are all hurting with cash from the corona virus. I am doing his to help others avoid this situation.

This place is awesome not only did they let me come in for a oil change and putting on new tires they let me come in after they closed. they closed a 4:00pm I am here at 4:30pm and they still helped me. I have been here previously to do brakes and rotors on my challenger they showed me what was going on with it why I was having trouble. they took real good care of my baby while they worked on it. the guys here are funny very nice and good at what they do.

Ive always hated going to auto shops because I am a young single female. I never have any males come with me and in the past other shops have taken advantage of that by trying to scare me into getting services.However, This shop did not make me feel this way. Dillon ( Dylan not sure how to spell the name) Helped me a lot. I came in with a flat tire and After explaining the situation I was in they really hooked it up with the best help and fast service. Ill for sure be coming back for any other needs because what i value most is a friendly honest staff and Quality work.

This place has been amazing to work with. Top notch customer service and their work has always been good quality. Breaks, tires, service, weird noises and more. They do it all. I have brought all my vehicles here and will continue to as long as I have vehicles.

I feel like 3 stars is generous. Never seen a tire swap take almost 2 hours given it was on the Jack pretty quick. An outrageous amount of shop talk which I believe led to a longer wait time. Im convinced if I hadnt asked for my car I may have waited another 30 min.When I went to leave I was told I needed an alignment and that it would only take 20 minutes. If I believed that they were capable of completing it in that time frame I would have done it. Will look for a different tire place in the future.

Really torn on this review. In some ways they seemed to truly care and go above, even with my observations of other customers while I waited, but in some ways I feel like I should never even consider going back.When I called to set up the appointment, I told them which tires, that I needed an oil change, and when asked, that I did not want the tire protection at an extra $20 a tire. The tires came in early, which was great, but when they finished I asked if they got the oil change as well. That evidently had not been put into the computer, but they were willing to pull it back in and take care of it.Upon completion, the second time, he rings me up. Never goes over the invoice or anything with me. The price seemed a bit high, but I figured it was fees for disposal or something like that since they had never gave e a definitive answer on the cost of the oil change. After I pay, he gives me the invoice to look over, glanced at it quickly, but I was ready to get out of there at that point.Once I got home, I walked around the truck to take a look at the tires. Come to find out, both front tires had no valve stem cover on them. Looked at the invoice a little better, saw that the protection plan was charged. Now this may be the universes way of saying Im going to need it, but when I say I dont want to pay an extra $80, and you overcharge me, Im not too happy about that.Seems like a lot of miscommunication within the store, or lack of communication altogether. Those little details add up quite quickly to the customer.

Will not ever come back to this one, they lied and charged us $40. Something for a tire that was warranteed and on top of it, did not disclose the charge until afterwards and then charge you on top for using your debit card 3.5 %.People are hurting in this pandemic and this big I tires is taking advantage of people.Also any other big o did not charge us for any fees on the other tire we had to have replaced that was under this same warranty!!

I have had such great experiences with the Big O in Layton. They are very diligent in their work. They brought me out to the shop multiple times to explain concerns with my vehicle. They even took the time to clean road residue off my rims to properly balance my tires. Their alignment machine is top notch along with their staff. Ian and Moses are awesome guys. UPDATE: The manager, Sky, called me and identified what went wrong in this process, promised to do make sure future services do the simpler stuff better, and made my transaction right.This is independently owned, they charge about 3% for CC fees, and even though I got my tires rotated they didnt bother putting air in them nor topping up the windshield wiper fluid during my oil change.Those arent grievous sins, but this area is saturated with places to get these services done at roughly the same price, so Im not sure why youd spend 3% more to get some of the simpler stuff ignored.

My review of Big O Tires comes from a lot of experience working with the team over in Layton. I purchased tires back in August, I’ve had some issues with them coming un-balanced (no fault of Big O Tires) and the team has been extremely helpful in finding me a solution, rather than writing me off as an annoying customer, they jump right on it, I will be giving my business to them for the rest of my tire-buying life.Thank you Big O Tires in Layton!!

The only reason that this place gets a 5 star review is that 10 stars isn’t an option. Seriously, so blown away by the level of service I was provided. There is never a good time to break down while traveling with your family, but I couldn’t have picked a better place to break down than next to this Big O Tires in Layton. I never could have expected the lengths to which they would go to get me and my family back on the road. I was totally at their mercy, and they could have easily taken advantage of the situation and overcharged me, but instead offered me a level of service that I have rarely ever seen or heard of before. Good people like this are a rarity in this day and age.

This is my favorite Big O Tires location! They are honest and up front about what my cars need, but they are not pushy like other places Ive been. They are also very honest about how and what they charge you for, and they dont overcharge you for every little thing. Ive had a couple of times that Ive had something puncture my tire and theyve patched it up for free. I also had an experience where I needed a small service done on a car and I called another company and they were going to charge me $40 for something that this Big O Tires did for free! They take good care of you, especially at the Layton location!

They always try to update me when I dont need it and take personal offense when I say that I do my own repairs. I only go here for tires. Last time I went they ripped of my expensive hose clamp and pulled the book up on my CV axle. They then proceeded to tell me that my boot was completely torn and needed to be replaced asap. All I told them to do was balance and rotate my tires. This is the worst place I have been to and another reason why I fix my own stuff!

Run away as fast as you can. I had a flat tire that was un repairable and I asked them to check the other tires. All was fixed. Well my tire light was still on. I tell them they say to drive for 5 miles. The tire light is still on. I get home and I have flat. Another nail in the tire. They didnt look at my tires or they did and they didnt want to repair it for free. I seriously only drove 5 miles with that light still on so I know this to be true. 🙄

We bought tires for our fifth wheel here and were very impressed with Ian and the service. We decided to start having our vehicles serviced here. Today we got an oil change on the car and when we were ready to leave I noticed there was no sticker to remind you of when the next service should be. I went back in and asked for one. They sent a guy out to put it on and I asked about the difference in schedules with the different oils Z(regular, synthetic and partial synthetic). He didnt know anything. Then he writes the current mileage on the sticker instead of when you need to come back. I asked how that helped at all since he couldnt tell me how long between oil changes for the different oils. I am wondering if we really want to start using the place for regular maintenance.

Went there to get my front tires replaced due to the fact they were wornin badly and way to small. Left with 2 brand new tire that was the wrong size as well. They never even looked at the back tires our looked up the correct tire size. So long story short the front sits low to the point it scapes on everything. Now my front bumper is ruined. The guy at the front counter was cool and professional just under skilled.

Sky totally took care of our car.I came in with a sliced up rotor thats never been seen before and Sky totally replaced the brakes and gave me a new rotor.I was blown away!!I recommend this place and make sure you talk to Sky!!

Full disclosure, I have known the owner pretty well my entire life, however, it is my opinion that you will not find a more honest, hard working and generous businessman around. I know from dealings with him he expects the same from every one under his employ also. People like Ian give places like this a good name, and I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

I love this big O tire location. The owner and Moses are amazing. They truely care about taking care of people and never try to up sell you on stuff you dont really need done to your car. This place is trustworthy and performs amazing work.

We have been going to this particular Big O for about a year now. They always take great care of us and are so helpful. Today, I dropped my car off because I thought my brakes were bad (they were singing). The staff called me to let me know that my brakes were actually fine even though they were making noise. They didn’t do any unnecessary work just for the sake of getting paid! I will continue to bring my vehicles to Big O in Layton and recommend them to everyone!

Went there to get tires rotated, check one tire which had been leaking. Fix spare tire which was on vehicle and leaking. They neglected to put spare back in carrier, and left on vehicle. Day later spare STILL leaking. So who knows if they did anything. Will never use Big O again.

Each employee was very friendly & wanted to know all the facts firsthand. Although the manager or owner was hesitant on putting anything in writing, which was a concern to me. Very friendly, clean waiting area, but you need to know that if they do any repairs, their shop rates may not apply. They go by book-rate on repairs, not shop rate, so if it takes 15 minutes but the book says an hour, then they charge an hour. Fairly typical I believe.I have also taken my car in to have the alignment done and they applied a coupon I wasnt even aware of. Now thats impressive.

My brakes were out and it was horrible! I went to a place in Farmington called Burt’s and they quoted me $700 to fix my brakes. I went to Big O Tires and they quoted me $350. I used their pay in 90 days option and was approved in which they don’t check credit just bank account. So I was approved and put down $53. I no longer scream down the road because of my brakes. It was done in a half hour. They were absolutely amazing and blessed to have them fix my car. I will never go to another place again other then Big O Tires! Customer service was amazing too! Super friendly and glad to pay them any day! 😁😊

The staff was great, start to finish. The people up front were polite, quick to answer any questions, and even took a minute to chat with my 6yr old daughter to help her enjoy being there.
