This was my first experience here and it seemed like they were busy and trying to catch up so maybe this review isn’t the norm.When we first arrived after making an appointment online, Kent checked us in. Immediately after another customer cut in to ask him a question and Kent immediately said “oh yeah I’ll go look” and just walked off.He didn’t give us any expectation on price, time, what’s included in the service, etc. Me and my young kids just stood there at the counter for a few moments until we realized he wasn’t coming back, he just literally left us with no details.To their credit, they did fix a screw in our tire with our $79.99 oil change (not synthetic) so that was appreciated.It’s hard to gauge the work because solely based off the check-in experience I could not picture an environment where they have high quality standards with just walking away from the customer mid-conversation with no details on the service. I was able to find a price sheet on the counter after he had left.They were also supposed to do a “road-trip” inspection and let me know the status of my vehicle but they skipped all of that. Again, I assume it was busy so I understand but it would have been nice to know why they skipped that.For a really premium price of $79.99 for an oil change I would really have to ask yourself if you need it here. I can’t picture a place claiming to have great customer service just walking away from customers mid-sentence. I was kind of shocked to be honest. Also, the bracket around my driver side share was snapped off at the clip which wasn’t present before. I’m not so upset about this since it’s an older vehicle. But it could be your new vehicle.

Ive had to bring two separate flats (one a nail, the other a screw cut in diagonally) and both times this Les Schwab got us repaired in no time. They talked us though the repair process and each time took about 20 minutes. Shout out to Brett who got my screwed flat done with sincere courtesy. Now if we can only stop picking up all these nails and screws in and about the Layton area!

The experience was great and the services wonderful! They always treat everyone come through the door with respect.

Took my vehicle in for a tire rotation/balance and pre trip safety inspection. Upon receiving my vehicle back I now have an air bag senor going off that was not happening before taking the vehicle in. Upon contacting the center and speaking with Kent I was quickly told that it was not their fault and was offered no sort of inspection again to make sure everything was put back together properly. I was asked to diagnose my own issues as if I am supposed to know how everything works or what it should look like. I was also met with a very disrespectful attitude and was given life lessons rather than remaining professional and sticking to the topic at hand or working with me to troubleshoot and resolve or find a way to move forward. Kent did a horrible job at listening as he listened to speak and not listened to listen. Horrible service, horrible ownership of problems, horrible wiliness to resolve issue or look for alternative resolution and worst of all failed to offer to inspect the vehicle again whether it was an issue or not. The fact is, that the issue was not there before taking my vehicle in and now it is there with no course of action on how to move forward except, not our fault, not our problem, nothing we can do No, its nothing that you are willing to do. There is a difference. Thanks Kent!

Im very conflicted on how to rate this store. On the positive side they are very friendly, willing to answer questions at length, deliver on their turnaround time estimates, and provide a lot of educational material on brakes, tires, etc. I got their Reputation tires which were balanced well and perform admirably. On these aspects, they deserve five stars.Now for the disappointing side. When I first got tires, they were inflated to 40 PSI when the manufacturer recommends 35 for my vehicle. I dismissed it as its trivial to rectify and it may have been a new technician. The second time I explicitly asked for them to inflate the tires to 35 PSI but they inflated them to 40 again. At checkout, they even verbally confirmed the tires were at 35 PSI. Worse still, one of my tires was inflated to 91 PSI! At first I thought it was an issue with the TPMS and planned on returning in a few days to get it fixed. The next day I decided to check it with a mechanical guage and the tire was indeed at 91 PSI. Reputation tires are rated at a maximum of 51 PSI. So not only would this have caused a ton of center wear but a single hard bump could cause the tire to explode.As aforementioned, I want to give them five stars but such gross negligence—especially with regards to safety—is unacceptable. If you choose to go here, insist they respect your manufacturers recommendations and warranties and double-check their work.

If I could give a negative star I would. I bought what I thought (they sold me on them) were the best tires for my pickup. All seemed good at first. They were snow rated and strong. But they could never get them to balance. I always had a shake. Then I had an issue where the tread separated from the middle of my tire. I went in and they told me it was my fault and proceeded to charge me for a replacement. This was clearly a manufacture defect. I am not impressed. Just be aware they will not honor their warranty completely. There will always a catch.

Their service was great and they were very considerate of my time and budget, while helping me the most that they could, which was everything that I needed. The customer service is wonderful. Monica did an awesome job. She answered all my questions and addressed any concerns as well as naming sure that winter driving safety concerns was addressed. Monica went above and beyond. Kent helps run a great tire shop. Its a great business relationship between Les Scrabble and its customers that you cannot pass up.

Went there expecting brake work needing to be done. The brakes were still in good shape and based on my milage average, I would not need to come back for about a year. They have great customer skills and not just out to make a buck.

If you want good honest work backed up by the store bring it to this place. I got told I had an issue with my tires at the dealership where I bought my truck. Brought it over here and the guys not only made shure the tires were fine they rotated them for free. Now they’re checking the alignment to make sure there are no issues. And if that all checks good they won’t charge me for that either. It’s great peace of mind whole you’re driving.

They alway take care of my needs

I have always gone to the Kaysville location for all my tire needs and been well taken care of. Today I tried out the Layton location and I won’t be going back. The workers were very rude to me when I just needed to have my tires filled with air. They also didn’t approach me for several minutes even though I pulled up to the bay like it asked me to. I would’ve been much more understanding if the employees were nice to me.

My Tire could not be replaced but I was so glad when the Lady tire tech. Told me of a BRAND New tire I could get and not put holes in my pocket. The Wait wasnt long 20 mins in and out .Thank You and Happy Holidays

During my recent trip to Les Schwab I was greeted promptly, asked what they could help with and taken care of very efficiently. The team at my local Les Schwab in Layton UT never fails to impress with there knowledge and care put into there work. I have purchased many tires and services from them and always leave feeling happy and safe in the knowledge that they simply do solid work. The management team is second to none and always finds a solution to the problem people are having instead of not being proactive as many businesss seem to be now a days. I will return for all my needs to any Les Schwab near me.

I was greeted by Justin who took my keys and left me standing there. Didnt say, please have a seat. Got my rotation done . And was shoved out the door . I miss the days when Sanford worked there. This store is awful now. Go to other places

I have finally decided to use Les Schwab always. I have played the shop online game, ship tires to a dealer game, drive around and shop for lowest cost game. In the end I always end up at Les Schwab. While I may get a killer deal online and have some no name shop do the install, when I take my vehicle back when I get a flat or something, guess what? I get charged for it, and no loyalty. Guess what I almost always get from Les Schwab? Someone that runs out to greet me and see how they can help. A kind person behind the counter, guys and gals that are moving around with a brisk speed and energetic step, clean cut guys and gals and a clean shop. These are all important to me. I MAY pay a little more (cant verify this) for tires and wheels initially, but in the end, through the life of the tire I feel I always get more for my money than I would anywhere else. Thank you Les Schwab, Layton, you guys are amazing.

I wanted to thank Skyler and his team for fixing my truck! I have a 2020 RAM 3500 that just received an entire Carli suspension system, wheels and tires. The shop that did the initial work missed a few things. They also did not meet my expectations at all from the reviews and recommendations that I received. I was having trouble with the tire TPMS system. After weeks, of trying to figure out the problem, I called Skyler. He knew exactly what the issue was! The Performance Shop that changed the sensors from the factory wheels to my new Innov8 wheels...installed them backwards! I took the truck in to Les Schwab and they correctly re-installed the sensors. I was in and out in a flash! Very impressed. Les Schwab now has my tire and wheel business from now on.

Was having issues with locking lug nuts, this was the third place we looked at for help. Kent immediately took a look at my truck and said it wouldn’t be an issue. Told me 45 mins to 1 hour and that was spot on. They even through in 4 free lug nuts. Strongly recommend this place if you need any tire work done!

Just wanted to say thanks to the Les Schwab team for helping my wife out yesterday. She hit some something on the freeway and her tire exploded. I was on a flight home from California and she had two kids in the car.Even though they were so busy, Kent made it a priority to send someone out to get my wife off the freeway. They didnt have the tire we needed so they sent someone up to Roy to get it and get it fixed and on her way.I purchased these tires about 15 months ago from the Centerville location. For this incident, I paid $105 for the service call on the freeway and $136 for the tire (discounted due to tread wear on the tire). Thank you Kent for calling and explaining the charges and situation. Im thankful my wife was in good hands yesterday.

Sometimes a small act of great customer service wins the day, and likely more.Without going into the details, a different tire store, possibly across the street, couldn’t be bothered to fully determine whether an air leak could be safely plugged, even on a tire that was possibly bought there.Then maybe I went across the street to Les Schwab Tire Center in Layton, where they took the tire off the rim and saw that the small nail hole could be safely plugged as it was angled away from the sidewall. Then maybe they wouldn’t take any payment at all for it when they probably could have just sold me a new tire and pocketed a few extra $$.So maybe I found my new tire store. Ok maybe more than just “maybe.” Superb customer service and great attitudes always win. Well done today!

I arrived and after being informed of a very delayed repair I requested that I could run an errand and return without losing my place in line. They gladly obliged. Kudos to Les Schwab!

Came in Tuesday morning for a tire rotation. While I was waiting outside, another lady showed up. After her waiting about 5 minutes, they pulled her car in and started on hers. Then 2 more people showed up and they pulled thier trucks in as well. All while my car has still not been touched. I had waited over an hour! After they pulled the 3rd truck in that had been waiting about 15 minutes, I went in and cancelled my ordered and requested my car keys. What happened to first come first serve? Mine would have taken 10-15 minutes to complete. I will not be returning!

These guys were awesome. My tire blew 10 minutes before closing and I got ahold of them about 5-7 before they closed. They said they’d take care of me if I could get there quickly. By the time I swapped my spare in, I arrived 10 minutes after they had officially closed. A tech and a manager were standing by and immediately started work on it. In less than 15 minutes I was all set, paid for, and on the road again. They were amazing! And very nice, to boot. Hit these guys up! Shane and Kent are the two guys who stuck around to help me out. Super great guys, and very, dry efficient.

I’ve been here multiple times since moving to Utah last year with both my cars (I get wayyy too many flats). EVERY SINGLE TIME they are kind, fast, and affordable. I cannot stress enough how blown away I am with their overall service. I refuse to ever go anywhere else. Thank you so much for helping me out once again!

While I find this place honest most of the time and they even fixed a shaking in one of my cars that the other tire and alignment places could not. It appears they were dishonest this last time.My wife took her car in and after they rotated the tires they said all the struts were leaking. I found this weird as the rears are about a year and a half old and the fronts about three years. So really not that old. I went home and put my car on jack stands and it appears to me none of the struts are leaking.They also told me that it wasnt an immediate need since it only affects ride quality. I know thats not true. Bad struts can cause cupping on the tires. I know that because a mechanic pointed out my tires were cupping last time before I had the struts replaced.So deducting two stars for the dishonesty I feel like happened this last time.

Super fast service, just needed help with air pressure in trailer tires, 4 minutes and was back on road.

This location is wonderful! Clint at the Layton location went above and beyond to help me out when my tire blew out and I was too pregnant to change to my spare myself. Clint arrived to my location within minutes to swap out my tire and he helped to get me a good deal on some new upgraded tires too since the ones I had were still under warranty. I love this Les Schwab! I cant tell you how many times they have helped me in tough situations! Today the skid protector (or whatever it is) under my car came halfway off so it was dragging. They were able to squeeze me in and give me options to fix it.

We own a small transport company which requires a lot of tire service on trucks and trailers. I have been burned by every other tire shop in town....Discount, Jed’s Treads, Point S, etc. Les Schwab and specifically one of the managers, Kent is awesome! Every time I need service on a truck or trailer I just drop it off, tell Kent what I need (usually I tell him they can have the truck as long as they need it) and it seems like within an hour or so someone is calling me telling me it is done. The prices are very fair but more importantly the service is fantastic. Honestly, most of the time I don’t even make it to the front door before someone has greeted me and ask’s what they can do.Bring your vehicles here, you can’t possibly go wrong!!

I went for a val stem replacement and they took care of the problem with lightening speed. If you want good service and done right the first time then come here. I highly recommend it. I will come here for alignment and brake jobs. Every crew members here are professional.

Was told when I called mounting/balancing/disposal costs for my tires I bought online was going to be 25 total per tire. Went to the store and surprise 50 dollars per side now. I was told they need to pay their bills. Discount tire was 24 dollars per tire..half the price LOL.

The employees are always very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I certainly dont enjoy spending hard earned money on tires, but they make the transaction practically painless. Ive gone to other locations of the same business, but this particular location is best.

Great folks! I went in early and they came out and met me at my car, fixed my flat in less than 20 minutes and didnt charge me a thing! They really get that customer service goes a long way and Ill be returning here when I need new tires! Facility is clean, orderly, and everyone is pleasant and professional.

Made an appointment for tire rotation and was in and out super quick. I dont recommend going in there on a Friday without an appointment though I tried the week earlier and it was an hour and a half wait.

These guys are great. Have solved all my tire issues even ones created by others. They figured out how to match my tires from an emergency tire put on when I blew out in the middle of nowhere. Also caught a rim issue a repair shop created after an accident. They know their stuff and are always so kind about it all.

They hooked me up with a great tire repair and did it very quickly. Top notch
