A little bit more pricey than other places, but you get great quality for your buck. I went in for an oil change and emissions test, the mechanics were transparent and showed me what would be best for my car. They even brought out the cabin air filter and showed me why I should get a replacement, and I appreciate them looking out for more than what they are asked to do and recommending fixes that help your car! I can relax knowing Jiffy Lube made sure my car was well taken car of!

The two guys that helped me, sorry I didnt get their names, were very cool! The were straight forward about what they were going to do (emissions and fluid top off), they were efficient, and they didnt push extra stuff on me. It was also fun to chat with them. This is by far my favorite Jiffy Lube.

This Jiffy Lube has top notch technicians. These techs know what they are doing, convey the problems your car might have in clear terms and are very efficient. You can also see that the crew likes working with one another and trying to do their best for the customer. You will definitely receive quality service from this Jiffy Lube.

I found myself in a parking lot off 193 with a roofing nail in tire. It was beyond flat & we were headed off to get a fix when we realized every tire store was closed. luckily I used Google and was directed to a Brake shop... seriously 🤔??? Yes they seriously fixed my flat in no time.The staff was very friendly and helpful.From now on im referring everyone with repair needs to Jiffy Lube.

I brought in a work truck for an oil change, emissions, and on the spot renewal. It was a little busy but not bad. They have had the truck for over 2 hours. It was in the bay for over an hour. They took it out 20 minutes ago and still have not talked to me about it. Extremely slow service. I like jiffy lube because they accept our fleet cards. This location is close to our office but I will go to a different location from now on. Hopefully the experience will be better?

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!Literally no issues with my vehicle and then after the oil change they did my car literally caught fire when I started it the following day. Sounded like a motorcycle when I started it and then literally caught fire and oil sputtered out everywhere. Now they refuse to pay and took to their own mechanics who said its our motor! Never had any issues previously and they refuse to pay anything to fix it and said it was a previous issue we had. I never had any issues before. The guys forgot to close my oil valve thing and they will not own up to it. Jim is no help and tries anything to keep from having them pay for it. I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY VEHICLE PRIOR TO COMING TO THEM. NOW DOESNT RUN AT ALL!!! Worst place ever. Now Im out of a car and no kind of remorse from these guys.

Samantha and her crew were awesome. I was told it would be an hour wait (no fault of their own) and I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I brought my car to jiffy lube as I needed an oil change and didnt have time to schedule with the dealership which I usually do. Oil change went fine, service was a little slow, but I am not concerned about that.Shortly after the oil change, my check engine light came on. It has never been on before as I bought my car from a dealership about a year ago and have only serviced it there and never had any issues.I talked to jiffy lube and they checked everything out and said they would clear the code and make sure everything was put back how it should be. Now I play the waiting game on if it comes back on or not.I appreciate them taking a look at after the fact and hope that they fixed whatever issue it was, but there is always the chance that it was just bad timing. If it pops back on I will take it to the dealership to get diagnosed.EDIT: light came back on. Contacted the owner response email. Looks like I’m gonna have to spend money to fix a mistake made by this location, just like some of the other reviews.Edit: took it to the dealership and found it was the autozone gas cap replacement still causing the light. Bought oem and it fixed the issue. I appreciate the effort jiffy lube put into solving this.

Had to say I was impressed. Quick change oil locations are often so busy trying to get in and out is a struggle. The team was friendly, efficient and dedicated to ensuring that everything was accomplished.Props to the woman technician working. Last year I attempted to get my emissions done at this location, come to find out there computer wasn’t able to communicate with my ECU. So I took it to another jiffy lube no problem. I figured no big deal things happen. So this year I went back to the original location same problem after waiting a hour looks like I’ll be going elsewhere with my business!

I bought a car. And paid for three oil changes. One oil change redeemed immediately.The next time I came to try and get my oil done again.. They told me having a receipt is not good enough. You need to have something else that apparently I never got in my email.They refuse to give me my other two oil changes. So I just threw away a bunch of money to them for nothing.I wouldnt get my oil changed here at all but if you must get it done definitely dont pay for more than one its basically a scam when it comes down to it.

I was hesitant based on the 3 star rating, but Im so glad I took the chance. They were quick, efficient and professional. I was greeted before I even stepped out of my vehicle, treated with the utmost respect and care. From beginning to end, they did an excellent job.

My wife called and asked how much the oil change would be for our F350 truck and was told about $80.00 - $90.00. She said if we brought it down, she could tell us what the cost would be. We had a coupon for $15.00 or $20.00 off also, in addition to that. I took the truck down and asked how much it was going to be for the oil change on this truck. She told me $90.00. That would be about $70.00 or $75.00 with the coupon. I had the oil changed and was shocked at the bill for over $150.00, including the $20.00 off. She said it was because the price she told me was for 5 quarts of oil and I was charged $7.50 for each additional quart. She knew what vehicle this was and knew it would take 10 -13 quarts of oil, when she told me what it was going to cost. She lied about the cost and I will NEVER use Jiffy Lube again. I cancelled an appointment I had at a trusted Layton place where the oil change was going to be $95.00, because I was going to save $20.00. What a terrible mistake that was.

Been traveling across the country and my diesel truck needed fuel filters replaced. Bought replacements from oreillys, and they installed them for me no problem. In and out. Thanks for getting me back on the road guys.

Went for the On the SPOT Renewal, my registration is way out if date (06/19.) This is plain to see with both my plates and the registration provided to the manager during our meet and greet. After they did their tasks and provided me options for the upsell they took me to the register and said they could not provide the On the SPOT Renewal and YAY it will cost less money. I will need to go to the DMV to complete the renewal..... um why not tell me this prior to this point? Used Jiffy Lube last 10 years but my last two visits have resulted in dissatisfaction. I will no longer use their service or pay to be dissatisfied and disappointed. Prior trip resulted in change oil light still showing and all four tires giving errors on dash display. Goodbye Jiffy Lube.

Car wouldnt start, needed to get it jumped 3 days in a row, took it to jiffy lube where I got the battery only 3 months ago, made a mistake calling ahead, the manager clearly didnt want to be on the hook for the faulty battery they sold me, she wrote pass on the window next to check battery, mechanic didnt know what it meant so went to ask her, he came back seconds later didnt say anything, tested battery for a half second and said my battery is in perfect condition, car had no power this morning, not even door lights, im now stuck until the holiday is over, they pushed me out of the door and pretended like I didnt have an issue, oh did I mention they insisted I needed to buy something completely unrelated to the power/battery issues? Yeah 10/10 pos company with terrible employees that got me stranded by being disingenuous so they didnt have ti pay out for a faulty battery

This place was very friendly when doing an emissions test and getting registered. It took a long time to finish the process approximately 2ish hours. Be prepared to wait!

They eagerly and ambitiously try to upsell you on everything unrelated to the reason you came in, and then charge more than most places. It was $39 for an emissions test. The AVERAGE in Utah is $25. The waiting room is small and unkept.

We were in our vehicle when the oil change and new battery was replaced.We were there for over an hour. It took 3 guys to service our car. They didnt know how to put the battery in, causing it to spark and create smoke.We asked them to add air in our tires, it was not done.It says they refilled the windshield wider fluid, that was not done.The receipt says they cleaned the windows.. they didnt.Not a big deal about the windows but dont say you did it if you didnt.I would not recommend this Jiffy Lube.

When it comes to quick lube places, you need to pay attention to the workers or techs. Its easy right now with covid restrictions because you can stay in your car and observe them working on the car in front. I can attest, they bs more than do any actual work. You got a great view of the bay, and I hardly see anyone go down below, so paid for a fake oil change. I wouldnt be surprised after this review, they keep the bay doors closed from observation. Do you research, this company has been in the news before for shady business practices across the nation. You can witness it first hand here in Layton.

I bought a used car recently and needed to have my serpentine belt serviced. The service ended up being more than previously stated when bringing it in. Anyways after that they printed off the service sheet with a history of the services it had previously, before I owned it. I noticed that it was brought in a few times. Also that the mileage used to be HIGHER(150,163) than it is now(89,917). So naturally I called in to ask about it and they became defensive about it and quickly started blaming things like oh “we write down the mileage that the owner tells us to” or “we sometimes enter in the data incorrectly because we are so busy.” To busy to enter in the correct data??? And if that’s true, it happened twice in back to back times. It seems like the mileage was tampered with and everytime I tried talking about it with them, they kept on talking over me to say their next excuse. Not the place to bring the car in. I’m worried that my car could’ve been tampered with and I have no answers for it.

Very very bad company, bad employees. Reset my car, couldnt get my emissions. I saw them rest my light. Always trying to upsell me things I dont need. Idk who takes there car to such a dishonest company.

They took a really long time for my emissions test. Now Im OK they are busy and there is a line but when I saw people who got there after me and then leave within 10 min while Ive been waiting for over 30 min, now that is really annoying.

I sent my 16 year old son here for his first oil change experience. Joseph, yukimi and Chad took very good care of him. He was short a little money so you guys offered him a coupon so he was able to take care of the bill. He was nervous but left there feeling very grateful. Thank you for treating my son well. Not to mention how fast you got his car done!

Their time estimates were off. I had to spend an hour in the little lobby with a 4 year old when they told me it would be 35-40 minutes.

We did a Rhythms of the Night excursion from Vallarta Adventures. It was an amazing experience! The boat ride was fun with a great, funny and attentive crew. The show was jaw-droppingly good. The dinner was also excellent. We thought it was a little expensive when we booked on line, but it was worth every penny.

I waited for over 2 hours to have an emissions inspection done, as soon as it was my turn they attached their equipment which caused my check engine light to come on. Joseph at this location was very apologetic and mentioned I needed to drive around for the emissions system to reset. I was very frustrated spending a good portion of my day just trying to get an inspection done. After driving around and resetting the system, I went back and Joseph was very helpful to make the situation right. To make a bad situation better, Joseph S. Provided excellent customer service and gave me hope that good service still exists!

After countless trips to this specific Jiffy Lube, I can definitely recommend this location for its amazing customer interaction and honesty. I’ve felt a sense of truthful opinions from every employee that I’ve interacted w/ personally, as they keep it real and don’t push for unnecessary work done. The past three trips in, I’ve been taken care of a gentleman, Austin. Unfortunately did not catch his last name, but must say I can’t express enough how much the experience he provided means. Don’t take anything you value here. After taking a company vehicle here for a brake job (which I guess takes 3 days) I ended up needed to take the same company vehicle for an oil change. With 6 employees I guess it takes 3 hours to do an oil change with no other cars in the bay. Disrespectful people with no work ethic. Don’t waste a dime here. I’ve attached a photo of what was left of the brakes after they “fixed” them. It broke going down I-15 at 70 mph. Luckily I was able to coast to a ford dealership where they said I was lucky I wasn’t in a serious accident. Ford said the bolts were finger tight.

I was in my car during the oil change and the workers were so unprofessional. They were yelling back and forth at each other and more so than you would expect in a loud in environment. Several employees were complaining that they did not want to be doing the services that were being requested. I was essentially shamed for the oil choice I made since it was not the most expensive and refused any additives. I would never recommend this location to anyone. I will definitely not be back.

Do not take your vehicle here. I went in for an oil change and they screwed up putting the skid plate back on.went a second time and the head mechanic tried to fix it and made it worse. $500 dealership visit later and all of the jiffy lube issues are fixed

They gave me false information to sell me some stuff they told me my radiator cap was failing got it tested somewhere else It is fine also When got my oil changed I asked them to fill tires up to 60 psi tires manufacturers specify 80 psi I had to come back the next day and ask them to do it agent then the manager told me I have to wait in line behind everybody else and Ill get to me when they can! my tires were only at 40 PSI when I checked them the next day they argued with me and fought with me over it very unprofessional I asked to speak to the manager the kids said that he was the manager he was not The manager is about 20 years older than him 😂oes he know the day before the CEO was in there and it looked nothing like his young self lol what a dummy. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else other than here

Everybody was kind and they answered my questions. They were clear about what they were doing. I waited for a bit, but I understand with the limits we have nowadays. It was interesting to be in the car while it was being serviced. Overall, I had a good experience.

Not only did they have free WiFi ..I need to get my car emissions done. Although they were busy the technician Austin was able to find a spot for me. I was amazed at how well runned this store is. When it was my turn Austin explained all things I should due to spruce up my car. He was very polite when I turned down all his suggestions. I honestly didnt think my car was going to pass the emissions test but it did a that is a huge weight of my shoulders. I will recommend this jiffylube to everybody.🤩

This is the best jiffy lube I’ve ever been to - HANDS DOWN. Everyone is professional, kind, patient and happy to answer any and all questions. I came in today, was greeted warmly, and they’ve communicated with me about every concern they had on the vehicle. I needed to get a part replaced, they ordered it, but unfortunately O’Reilly’s in Ogden couldn’t get it here until 4pm. I’ve been waiting since about noon for my vehicle at this point (it’s been 3 hours), so these guys stepped up and just went to Advanced Auto Parts - got the part - and helped me shorten my visit by 1 1/2 hours! Fantastic customer service! I will drive from Salt Lake every time JUST to come to this Jiffy Lube. ❤️

Staff are very kind. Jiffy Lube used to be the cheap place to get an oil change, no longer. They increased their prices and charge extra fees that they claim “everyone charges.” Looking back at old invoices and calling around, no one else charges those extra fees. Won’t be returning.

Trying to get hold of the owner / or who owns the car wash next door the sign prompts that if you have any issues to call this number and hit an extension however it just rings and rings so its a faulty number I visited the car wash and had their hose explode right above me it hit me and my truck damaged my truck my headlights some of them dont work now it drew blood on my shoulder and Im trying to get a hold of somebody and it just it looks like Im going to have to go there again on looking at the hose and the hose clamp whoever installed it did not tighten down the hose clamp so the water just spewed all over my truck as far as the whiplash of getting hit by this thing and how much pressure those lines are under its insane you would think that the owners wanted more yeah out of it but I guess

They were very fast at getting me in. However, the whole time I was there they were using vulgar language from under the bay and also heard many complaints about the services that were being done on my car. Since my current car is a replacement from an oil change mishap somewhere else I am always leery of getting oil changes done. Because of the lack of professionalism, it made me concerned about the job being done properly. I usually go to another jiffy lube location so this was my first time here at this one and will not be returning.

I went here for my emissions and was only waiting 5-10 minutes. Friendly staff. Decent bathroom (what youd expect at Jiffy Lube). The waiting room is a little cramped (and grubby), but we were the only people there. Every other Jiffy Lube Ive been to has had water and coffee or hot cocoa to drink while your waiting, but their refreshment station is lacking.Overall, would recommend. Their speed and customer service outweigh the environment.

Weve been going here for the last 3 years. And for some reason this year, they couldnt do emissions on my 88 truck even though they did 2 years in a row previously?! Then today my husband took his BMW, which is lowered, and again never had a single problem in the past, and they couldnt get the car on the lift, and when my husband asked if he could suggest something they just told him no, and sent him on his way. Ive never experienced such lazy people.

Quick and efficient service with good prices

I appreciate that they were trying to work during the pandemic and that stress levels are up but if you have customers sitting in the car while you are doing an oil change try to keep the language appropriate and the complaints to a minimum. Also if you mention a coupon when asking about oil dont blame or lecture the customer about showing the coupon after you forget to add it on. I can drive 10 minutes to the next one so I wont be visiting this Jiffy Lube location again.

If i could give it no starts i would, went there to get my fluids filled and they are a car place so you would figure everyone there would know what they are doing, they put in the wrong antifreeze and my entire car was seizing up and i didnt know what was wrong at first then my water pump went out and my thermostats, i called Because i wanted this fixed and the lady argued with me saying it works on all cars and that they didnt mess up she said its supposed to be yellow in color and it was brownish orange not all cars take the same so they need to hire people who know what they are doing they never asked me what my car needed nor are they professional enough to fix their mistakes.

Went to jiffy lube on Layton Main Street for An oil change and was receiving a wonderful customer service experience until the store manager Mike got involved. He was extremely unprofessional (foul language) and was constantly yelling at employees and threatening to write them up for unnecessary things. Seemed like a power symbol to me (he really wanted his employees to know that he was in charge). Mike was very aggressive working on my car, I was very disappointed in my experience and will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube as a result.

This place is good, they are very nice people that work here. It did take a good while to get out of there, even though it was just an oil change. All in all pretty good.

My sister and I just left and we can’t stop talking about how kind Austin and the blond guy were. (we didn’t catch his name... but his girlfriend does hair...) Professional and sweet from the moment we walked in. 10/10 would recommend!

The ONLY thing that i can say positive about my experience was that they were faster than the time quoted. They lied and tried to tell me I put the more expensive oil in that vehicle last time (this was my first time bringing my vehicle) they said my coolant needed topped off (like it was free to top off) but then charged a ton to do it... then I got home to find out my husband had just checked my coolant ans it didnt need topped off. Feel very taken advantage of.

There were not alot of people working so I understand they were pretty fast for how there were only a few workers. They are really nice and thorough and showed me my tire wear and what could be done to help me get on the road

When I pulled up I was told it would be 35 minutes. I’ve now been waiting in line for 90 minutes! It’s 90 degrees outside. I could have gone inside but with Covid, I chose not to. I’m very frustrated that all I see is the crew walking around, one of them vaping. I think they went on a lunch break while I’ve been sitting here!

I pulled in to get snow tires switched onto my car. There was only 1 other car when I got there. I have been sitting for 2 hours waiting for my car and tires are still not on it. I’ve watched 4 other cars pull up and get done before mine. I’ve even watched one come back because there was a problem and then leave again. Horrible service. Best part only got 3 of my snow tires put on. Horrible horrible horrible be warned!***update watched 5 cars come and tried to charge me for 4 tires instead of 3 had to argue with them about it. Checked the 4th tire and said it had a nail in it and it wasn’t even through the tire*** NEVER GO HERE***another update I got a call from someone from jiffy lube and he was looking into it. He asked for my address to send coupons. Never got them and never heard anything back***

Go here! The service is excellent! Prompt service and services provided quickly with a smile. I visited another Jiffy Lube, where the wait was extensive and they could not perform an A/C recharge on 2 seperate days. I would recommend only using the Main Street Jiffy Lube.
