Hated this location. The old woman with the long blonde hair just cared about singing and dancing around. When I finally got her attention I told her that I needed a calming aloe facial cleanser. She told me too try murad. I did and it burned my skin. I dont have acne or bad skin which I found out that murad is a strong cleanser for bad skin. My skin gets a red butterfly rash due to lupus. I took the murad back and showed her my skin. She looked shocked and didnt understand why she told me to try murad. I asked again about the aloe again and she said they didnt have anything. I looked myself and it found Ole Henrikson with ALOE. she was awful. I love closer to this store, but chose to drive 25 miles away to get the cleanser.

I’m not sure who the old lady who works here is but I hope she notices this and decides to fix her attitude. When my girlfriend tried to return a few items she told us to provide a receipt. We told her that we have an account and asked if she could look it up. She said that she wouldn’t do that. My girlfriend bought these at the Farmington location and the lady also claimed we could only return them to Farmington. When we called the Farmington location they told us they’d never heard about either of those policies, and we could return any Sephora product there and look it up on the account easily. This lady was not polite, had extremely poor tone of voice, and seemed to be in a horrible mood. I would have been happy to tell this lady how awful she was but I know my girlfriend doesn’t like confrontation. Next time I’m at this location I’ll be sure to get her name so I can tell her and everyone else how unpleasant she was.

Great place ! Small selection for male colognes! Definitely try expanding it for those men who go and shop with their women !

Really clean store. The cashier that helped us was awesome. Not really a big fan of being glared at though. Felt kinda unwelcomed a little.

Horrible customer service. i’ve been in here over 10 mins and didn’t get greeted nor have been asked if I need help. horrible visual standards, backed per the photos i’ve taken below. definitely need to rehire this entire staff as they’re all horrible. both staff members are behind the till right now ignoring all the customers :( yellow hair girl is ignoring all the customers too

I used to work at the mall and stopped by to purchase a new foundation but left within 5 minutes of walking in because the lady working made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She stood directly by me and glared at me like I was going to steal something the entire time. No smile or hello hows it going from anyone working. Ive been in retail for years! I had people steal from my store all the time but I never stood right next to them with a rude expression so theyd walk out the store. The makeup they had on display was also very gross, and a lot of it wasnt even in the right place and I wasnt going to search around and give them my money with an employee treating me like that. Go down to Farmington or City Creek, its worth the drive.

I’m fairly new to the area. I’ve been in this Sephora about 3 times. I went in this evening to find a new foundation. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They help me find exactly what I’m looking for every time! :)

I would leave zero stars if I could. What kind of store requires an ID to do an exchange when you have the receipt?! It just so happens that my wallet was recently stolen so I dont have mine right now. I have NEVER had this issue at another Sephora. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Its worth the drive to City Creek.

The older lady with blonde hair has been rude the 2 times I have been here. Obviously don’t go here anymore because of her. I have read other reviews and sounds like others have problems with her as well. I would ask her a question and would give back the most snotty comments. Totally disrespectful and makes everyone uncomfortable when she is working. I do not see the point of working in makeup, when you can’t answer any questions, don’t know anything about the products, and when someone’s asking about a skin type, what’s best for it, don’t reply with anything will work. Will not shop here ever again

I go here all the time, and not once have I ever received good customer service by TJ or Mel. The vibe here is horrible due to the people working here. The only decent person working here so far is the elderly lady with blonde hair. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit this location.

Worst place ever. Ive been looking at items for 5 minutes and no one said a word to me. On the other hand, all these white people are getting the nice attitude and conversations. I didnt realize Asians werent supposed to shop at the Sephora here. I dont think I came here to just stand around and take a walk. Im pretty determined to buy something just so I can give them a terrible review for corporate. It took 10 minutes of leaning against the wall to have someone help me.

They carry a lot of brands that are exclusive to Sephora so I come here to shop quite often, I love the Marc Jacobs stuff they carry and the staff is still very good. It used to be a bit better but I am sure that will come with time and experience :)

I dont go to this location often as I really dont like the people who work there. The workers abruptly show judgmental looks as soon as I or anyone that I know walk towards Sephora.I love the products at Sephora but the people need to work on a lot of things. They just stand around not asking to help you - let alone show any customer service. And when they arent just standing around looking down at you, everyone that I know has agreed that it feels like theyre breathing down your neck assuming that youll steal something.Even when me and several other girls buy some things from this location, the workers give us and even people we dont know the nastiest look as we walk out. Yet the white - blonde haired girls dont get that treatment. Its truly disgusting.I love Sephora, but the majority of people on social media will agree that they are judgmental people here, especially at this specific location. The others arent that bad and will make sure to accommodate you.This location might be closer - but its not even worth it. Id rather travel to Riverdale or Salt Lake for a Sephora, where I know that people wont be prejudice and ignorant.

I normally stay away from Sephora because of the bad customer service Ive had in the past, but this store and their associates blew me away. Mel went above and beyond helping me with my purchase. Im greatful for her kindness.

Every time I go in there I am never greeted and all of those around me are helped and greeted. They never have any fair or porcelain options and when I ask questions the associates never really have an answer or they guess. There are times where I wait 20-30 mins for help and end up having to leave.

Love Saphoras products but hate everything else! I went to the Layton Hills mall Saphora and asked the lady working if I could purchase the Sweet Peach pallet from Too Faced and she said they were all out and she could order one on line for me and have it shipped to my house within 2 businesses day! I purchased it in store on a Tuesday and was expecting it to be here by Thursday or Friday I never received it so I checked my emailed receipt and it said it wont be delivered until the 17th-19th which was two weeks latter then what I was told by the employee at Saphora. It is now the 20th and I havent received my product, so I called customer service and they checked on the order for me and they told me it will take two more weeks from the day it said it will be here to actually get here! Im just going to call back and see if I can get my money back cause its not even worth the wait it was just a pallet that looked cute but if I would have known it would take this long I would have purchased something else... uhhhhg😣

There are some employees who are rude and there are some who are really helpful so it just depends on the day I think.
