**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ** I left my wallet in the shopping cart at this awesome Walmart store. It had $22 in cash as well as credit cards and lots of personal info. I realized what I had done when I got home. I drove to the store expecting bad news, but when I got there, it had been turned in by one of the baggers. Everything including the cash was there. HONESTY... Its found at this Walmart store. Thank you!! I encourage the city of Layton to support such an honest store. Theyve got my business for sure. And to the bagger who turned the wallet in, I pray that you will be showered by gold coins sometime in your life. =) Thanks again.

I Ike this Walmart, its not bad at all for the most part staff is awesome and friendly but Kristin in customer service has been extremely rude to me more then once, my mom also had the same experience when she went. Shes snotty unprofessional, and inappropriate wish she could get some coaching.

We live less then 2 miles from this Walmart which makes it extremely convenient. The staff is usually very helpful which is nice. The reason for the 3 stars is because we have done online pickup a few times from this location and they end up messing something up every time. When ordering veggies, fruits, meats, etc. they have consistently given us the smallest, most pathetic looking produce and meats. If it’s not prepackaged, and size/quantity is up to them, they pick the smallest ones possible. I have a medium size family with multiple children. I can’t feed them with the products that were “chosen by professionals”. For this being offered as a service, I am pretty disappointed in the outcome of choices. We probably won’t be doing online ordering at this location anymore.

I love this little neighborhood market! They arent as big as the reg Walmart but have all the things I need. Meaning less time in the store. Very satisfied with this store. Try it out for yourself

Always loved this Walmart as it was clean, upkept, and products felt high end and nothing like typical Walmarts. The cheese and bread here is top notch

This particular neighborhood Walmart is very friendly you get to know people that work there very quickly and if you need assistance theyre always there the pay its they do go through their food I mean turn over very quickly so sometimes they may be out of like ice cream different they I think they need to expand ice cream a little bit but other than that I like the place I like shopping there

Its the only one know after livein Layton ut know another of air force people there where clean there out way Riverdale Walmart but now another people there etc

Uh the people where we live in Charlotte, NC who work at Wal-Mart need to come to this store to be trained. Ours are terrible, these people were so helpful and had actual customer service skills. It was incredible. Night and day difference. If Walmarts were this good back home we would go there.

No complaints, other than they dont carry my favorite ice cream. I love their pick-up grocery employees! They are by far the most polite :) Thank you so much.

The store is kept clean and is well organized. The staff is nice and friendly. They have a good selection for being a smaller grocery store. They keep the shelves well stocked and the pharmacy is conveniently located in the front of the store with an optional drive through.

Outdated and dark inside. However I found everything I needed and the employees were amazing in their customer service.

Better service than five star hotel!! First time using curbside pick-up and I will not shop any other way again! I am blown away by the customer service at this store! I pulled into the parking stall and before I could tell them what stall I was in, they were there with my order ready to load it into my car. She quickly verified that the substitution they chose was acceptable to me. I could not of chose better myself. Not even a minute later she had loaded it into my car and I was done. They had bagged every department separately and they didnt over fill the bags They also gave me a fabric reusable bag full of goodies for free I found when I got home!!

The store is clean, but many empty shelves. I’m mostly disappointed in the pharmacy. I called to confirm my prescription would be ready at 5:21 PM and was told it would be prepared in 20 minutes. It’s 7:17 PM now, and it’s still not prepared. This pharmacy is in significant need of communication training, especially when the technician walked away from me during the consultation and then called up someone else while I was standing in front of him, quiet and confused.

I’m not a fan of Walmart, but this one doesn’t feel like a typical Walmart. The store is neat and clean, the produce is fresh, and the employees are nice! There’s times I forget it’s a Walmart.

Love this walmart for short trips. Easy to find everything I need. I do not like this location for their employees. The staff here are not friendly and are never helpful. On several occasions I have asked for help finding items, they will just point in the directions or say they do not carry it.

Came in for distilled water and the shelves were empty, I asked a gentleman stocking if he by chance had any on his cart, he said no but offered to peek in the back and guess what he found some! Thank you so much John Mcgrogan you are very nice and a hard worker I work in retail and can tell. Good customer service goes a long way so Ill definitely be back!

I feel that it is better than the one in South Ogden.

This has been our go place for groceries since it opened. In the last two years it is always a disaster. Never stocked or clean. I know that covid19 has had implications that pertain to both.Recently went into neighborhood market on Hwy. 89 in So. Ogden and it was very nice compared to our store on Hwy. 193. I would NOT shop at the big Wal-Mart store EVER. The neighborhood markets are just right. We have shifted most grocery shopping to Winco because of the above. Both price an store conditions as I described. Winco is always immaculate.

This supermarket has served us well from the moment it opened. It’s our go-to for groceries and pharmacy.

Horrible pharmacy service. Drive thru wait is long because customers are being allowed to place their order and sit there until ready. Meanwhile others are stuck in line.

Associates are nice, help finding items I couldnt find

Has all your groceries and essential items. Good prices quality items, has a pharmacy, clean bathrooms. Great customer service, curb side pick up, delivery and so much more.

This is a nice little market that is convenient to grab those few items you need to make it through the week. The only thing I noticed wrong was a lot of store restock carts were left in isles so I had to navigate around them to look for items on shelves behind the abandoned carts.

I couldnt find any local options. They dont carry Rico products, and their salsa is the absolute best in my opinion. You cant beat local. Also, I bought this salsa, and I didnt even realize its tomorrows date. No markdown or anything.

Today the store was almost empty @9:00 am. Shelves were stocked. This is a good store to hit for just about all of our food items..

The curbside pick up is always 15 minutes early and they quickly bring it out to you when you check in. Highly recommend.

A LOT of items to be stock just placed in the aisle with no one to place on the shelves. Creating obstacle courses nearly on every aisle. One way aisle not bad idea for this time not just for Covid cautions.

Consistently out of stock and under staffed. Customer Service today was especially poor. This is why I normally drive an extra 4 minutes to Smiths. Smiths is ALWAYS well stocked, fresh produce and meats, very friendly employees. Im reminded once again that this Walmart just isnt worth it despite the fact that it is located right next to my home.

Ive been using grocery pickup from here and have been very pleased with my experience.

Good place to come in and get what you need and come out. The pharmacy and store staff are friendly and try their best to get customers through the lines quickly and efficiently.

Our experience is always . I like the neighborhood Walmart its walking distance and its not as crowed as super Walmart. They did go to a new brand of Ramen noodles . And they really are terrible

Tuesday, September 1. 6:30 PM. I enter the neighborhood Walmart on Highway 193 in Layton Utah. Went down Aisle looking for items and saw a young male worker restocking the shelves his mask was down halfway to his mouth. I debated whether to say something gently to him but decided not to at that time. A few minutes later in the store I saw a man and woman… They both had on mask but the men’s mask was all the way down to his chin. The woman he was with had her face fully covered from the nose down.I did go and speak with the manager on duty and the customer service and express my concerns. They were very cordial but their hands are tied they said they could not say anything to the customer. I really feel sorry for these essential workers because they probably put up with a lot of abuse from people.But what I suggested which I have heard in several stores that I shop in… Periodically someone will get on the intercom and say-Attention Walmart Market Customers -The essence of safety for everyone in the store please leave at least 6 feet distance between you and the next customer and please keep your mask covering your nose and your mouth so that everyone can do their part in keeping our customers and community safe.I believe Walmart should do this right away. Because I’m feeling very uncomfortable coming into that later store because this is not the first time that I’ve encountered a situation. Last week a man walked in with a little dog he didn’t have a mask on at all. And he went right past the elderly Walmart worker that was standing at the front door and he never said a word to him. Again I brought it to the attention of the customer service desk and they did go over and talk with the elderly worker that was manning the front door.I like shopping at the store but I’d rather shop at Costco because They set expectations for their guests and the guests follow that expectation. The customer service people today did tell me that if a person says they have a medical condition there’s nothing they can do about that… And I understand that but we don’t know if he had a medical condition… I doubt if he did his mask was just down because he wanted it to be down.I don’t understand why Walmart can’t be proactive in this manner… Nordstrom does it, Costco does it, Smith’s grocery store just to name a few places. Nobody wants their business to be shut down because of an outbreak.So that’s my comment today for Walmart managers and supervisors and district managers… Please consider a recording on the intercom or someone just reading a simple one line script. I am an educator in schools are closing left and right in along the Wasatch front today…We cannot get back to school and be safe if we don’t get a handle on this. Everybody has to do their part. Plus your Walmart customers will appreciate it. Everybody wants to feel that the places that they patronize are concerned about their welfare and safety.

This is your standard Neighborhood Walmart, it has a varied selection of foods and supplies, I would recommend this store for a quick grocery run.

Great store. Smaller than the supercenter which means less options but I prefer going here because it is smaller. They usually have exactly what I need.

Its slowly a Grocery Store so its a lot smaller than a Walmart Supercenter. Convenient when I just need a couple thing. No hiking involved.

I just am amazed at the Great Value brand at Walmart. Its in many cases higher in quality and or taste than its brand name counterpart. Good deals as well on electronics and mens staples.

Pretty well maintained for a neighborhood Walmart, but selection is fairly limited and they are very often out of lots of items.

Neighborhood Walmarts are so convenient. I wish there was one closer to roy.

This place has everything i need as far as food and toiletries. Pretty clean place, however i would have rated it higher if they didnt have so many stockers in there on a Sunday afternoon. With this covid and all, fewer people the better. Why cant they stock later in the evening?

I think the Neighborhood Market is alright; but, I wish they had a bigger selection of products. Ya, Im spoiled!

Was pretty comfy. Had to choose another Walmart to hit up due to my regular been seeing to much traffic and is well known. This was a great find. Had most of the things as the supermarket; everything was just a little more squished together. There were certain things I couldnt find here like hair spray or certain snacks due to the significantly smaller sized store. Overall, I found most of what I needed and am very satisfied.

Its a good place. Walmart Walmart. Nothing special.

So incompetent.Why should I have to play middleman for the pharmacy to the insurance co.? I have my card, I pay my premium, and its not my job to navigate health insurance. Now you want me to call and get the information thats, more than likely, at your fingertips. And this is what you do for a living. Oh, and lunch seems to be the most important event ever contrived because if its close to lunch time you get attitude and whining. These employees all seem to hate their jobs and act like youre burdening them with your problems.

Just because I bring my son with me shopping here they wont sell me any cigarettes. I saw a guy before me buy beer with his kids and they said nothing. But just because I have my son with me I cant buy cigarettes that i buy there every 2 days. Never had a problem before.Im really upset now.Plus no one is ever at the cigarette counterThey could have been racial profiling.

I got what I needed and paid for it and left. No lines, no hassle, and used the self check.

This Neighborhood Walmart is one of the cleanest ones Ive been to, the staff are nice and always seem to ask if you need help when you come apon them in the isles, I also like the fact that the seem to do the hot meals in the deli section a little later into the evening than most others that I have shopped up.

Great place for the quick stop for things you need. Its always a life saver having this one close to home for quick runs!

The meat selection always has poetry or beef that expires within the next day or two I dont know if this is on purpose but if you need something to quit that night it may work

Convenient, good prices, most of the basic stuff. Since the pandemic some shelves have been empty. But fruit, veggies, eggs, milk, bread, cheese its all there.

They never have anything on the shelfs there are pallets in the lanes were u have to move them to get things the new manger matt is rude has no manners asks what u want instead of asking to help u

Had a hard time paying through self check out because the machines cant read my debit card.

They have everything in convient spots, so things are easy to find. The only thing that was hard are the Z aisles, which I have learned are by the registers. The staff is more than happy to help and are friendly.

A decent Walmart, smaller and easier to navigate. Less variety, but better to go here for food because you dont have to walk through everything else. Im putting 4 stars though because the coinstar was broken and I had to go to the big walmart.

Too much stocking going on in the middle of the day!! Several aisles blocked due to stocking carts. Did NOT find what I wanted....

This neighborhood Walmart is clean and customer service is great. My favorite checkout associate is an older gentleman named Steve. Very knowledgeable and sensitive to parents with excited children.I come at least twice a week and can always find what I need. MOST of the time their produce is purchasable, but on occasion, I have had to skip the strawberries.Pharmacy is pretty fast and they are friendly.I love the neighborhood market which is not as overwhelming as the super center.
