Oh my!!! MIKE in the Automotive department is so AWESOME! He was so nice from the second we got there, to helping us check out and changing our oil. A typical Walmart. They have lots of fun products. Unfortunately, I just bought some items from the clearance shelf, but they still cost full price.

It was very good. And all for a good price. The people in the eye center were very professional and personally nice.!! Try asking for a discount, they will give you one. I received a great pair of glasses for a good price. That says it all.!!

After getting notification that my order was ready for curb side pick up I drove over and checked in on the app. I waited for 45 minutes and called the number on the sign to make sure they knew I was there to pick up. The person on the phone said I was all checked in and they would be out soon. I waited another 30 minutes and someone came out to my car and asked my name then rudely cut me off and walked away. After waiting another 30 minutes I called again to double check. The employee said that my order hadn’t even been completely picked and they didn’t know when it would be. I then drove over to the door and asked for a manager. There were at least 4 employees just screwing around not doing anything. The manager basically just gave me multiple excuses that didn’t line up. She then told me to come back after 10pm. Mind you I was waiting in the car with my newborn baby for 2 hours at this point. The manager didn’t seem to care at all and gave no apology. She just said to call the 1800 Walmart customer service number. This location was an absolute joke. Not to mention a handful of things in my order were taken off because they apparently weren’t in stock anyway. I was definitely not impressed with any of it and will be going out of my way to go to another location in the future.

This Walmart is close to my house but is almost always out of stock on different everyday things. First you justify it by thinking it could be a rare circumstance, but after a while you realize it is a constant situation. And when you visit another Walmart (like the one at Riverdale, which is close to my job) and find it fully stocked on everything, you cant but realize the Walmart at Layton has a problem.

Nice Walmart as far as Walmarts go. Clean, clutter free aisles. Shelves are well stocked. Its a super center so it has everything from food to kitchenware to toys to electronics. Staff was helpful and friendly here as well. All in all I cant complain, I would and will ship here again.

I would love to give my walmart in blair a 5 star, but here lately during the day they only open the short belt lines and if your like me and have one and a half very full cart it makes it hard on a person to get enough out of their cart before they run out of places to put your grocerys and then they dont have no where to put the sacks and its not because a person is slow but its those short belt check out line. That does not mean they have so many lines open on the contrary they usually have 2 lines open and they are always the short belt lanes the ones for short or small amounts.

I really dislike how much of the parking lot has been designated to pickup. The pickup parking spots are always nearly empty and it takes up a huge portion of the good parking spots. Parking here was bad enough already. Other than that, this store is decent.

Well organized. Have great employees and staff. Never do I find myself discrediting Wal-Mart.

3rd time Ive gone to this Walmart this last week and they are still out of one of their main products. Recently the store has been a disaster, day and night with shelves being stocked, customers trying to weave their way through the store. Employees stocking shelves throughout the store but somehow every trip I make, they are out of several common items. Friendly customer service on the floor is a big positive. If it werent for the helpful employees on the floor, this store would receive 0 stars from me because its just stressful going in there recently.

It is a super sized Walmart. What more can you say? It looks well managed; it is clean, the produce is fresh and the the shelves are stocked.

They have just about anything you could want even though it wont be the biggest selection of everything. There seems to be an ever increasing number of blue shoppers (online order fulfillment) taking place when you go, and for the most part, they are courteous. On occasion, for example, on this trip, there were several so focused on their quota they fail to notice they are blocking aisles as they leave their carts in the middle of an aisle, or they glare if you move the cart aside. This whole process seems like it could benefit with ways to encourage stronger people skills as you push them to the floor to shop for someoneThe store was tidy, no loose pallets in aisles and most of the employees were geared to provide answers.

In my opinion this particular Walmart is better than most.Being one of the larger stores they naturally have a significantly broader inventory than the others.They also have a better supply of employees for the most part.

Didnt have to wait in line. I always say, time is money. I like going to a store that doesnt waist your time.

I use to live in Layton so I shopped here a lot until they took out all the handicapped parking for pick up. Which they could of moved to another place. There are way too many pick up parking stalls for this store.i have never ever seen it with more than a handful of cars and that extreme saying a handful. Handicapped is always full if you get a place it was just pure luck. Layton has way too many handicapped people that live there for the very few parking places. Store looked clean and was well stocked.

This place cant fail to disappoint me eveytime. Everytime I do a delivery order there is always something wrong with my order. The item is unavailable, when I know if I walked in there I could find a different but similar item. Another time they forgot multiple things on my order. And the time after that they gave me rotten fruit and meat that had gone bad. This place sucks!

This Wal-Mart is on it! Ive never had an unfavorable experience at this location. Pleasantly surprised today no line in the money center and such awesome customer service. Thank you for making my day a little easier today :)

One of the busiest Walmart Ive ever shopped at which wouldnt be a problem if they had more cashiers. Every time I go, they have minimal lines open. Big Walmart though usually fully stocked.

This Walmart is always soooo busy. I avoid this location if at all possible. Its even worse now with employees clogging up the isles filling orders onto giant carts. Ive been to plenty Walmart since the pandemic hit, this is the only location that I even notice employees on the floor filling orders.....and they are plentiful. They need a better system!!!

As far as Walmarts go, it was pretty much the same as the rest. The restrooms were very clean! The staff was epic. They could use a bit more flower selections.

The vision center in layton is the best. I love working with Jana and others there. Jana never slows down and is so thorough and helpful with each concern or need we have.

Courteous, helpful, and industrious staff. It appeared that the were trying to rectify stocking deficiencies.

Great selection and variety, but ALWAYS hard to find an associate. This seems to be true of EVERY Walmart Ive ever shopped.

Received very poor customer service when looking at grills and was told I could not purchase one. Would be different if she had been kind but she was very very rude and literally yelled at me. I would recommend just going to WINCO. Will not be back.

I wish this place was open 24/7 again, but its still a convenient location for things you dont feel like waiting on amazon for, like pillows and whatnot. Conveniently located next to ups and some food so it fills the while Im in the area niche.

Chose this location in Layton because the one close to us is not too well lit and not always the cleanest. This store is usually well maintained.

Who hasnt shopped at Walmart? A lot of people know the experience. Its a great place to study people price wise it is hard anywhere that sales for less . Sam Walton put a few stores out of business but he better way to do business. Thats what you do in capitalism sell good and services at a price that puts your competition in bankruptcy. People that complain about big box stores dont have a grasp on reality.

If I could give this walmart zero stars, I would. I have almost nothing good to day about this walmart location and their staff that work here, a side for one door greeter who is insanely sweet and very attentive at his job, and one newer cashier who is a complete sweetheart. However, as for almost every other employee, they are extremly rude and more often times then not, incompetent. Everytime I have gone to an employee for help and approached them in a very kind manner, they one, look at me as if I am interrupting their very important personal lives, especially when talking to other employees which is generally what they are doing, and they are always much less than helpful. They give short responses and just motion in a general direction. Their website is also NEVER up to date with what items they actually have, nor do they stay kept up on re-stocking. The main issue with this walmart is the employees attitudes and I highly recommend a manager speaking to their employees about an adjustment in this area.

GROCERY PICKUP COVID ALERT!!! Wipe down groceries!!! just watched the person in the Egg department getting pick up groceries for online orders sneeze into her hand couch and rub her snotty nose on her arm THEN.... Proceed to grab eggs and put them in your bags you are picking up !!!! TO THIS EMPLOYEE....I understand you have mouths to feed therefore you have to show up to work. I wish you would stay home but at least wear a freaking mask if you are SICK

Most items are in stock but this place attracts some weird people... A lot of items are in locked cases where in other Walmart stores they are not.

Friendly & very helpful employees. The store seems to have what I need when I need it. Except one thing I am disappointed about is the shrinking Fancy Feast cat food section.

Had a basket full of groceries and about $30 of bike equipment and Put it all back cause your employees are beyond rude. I get you have employees doing shopping for pick up however those of us that do our own shopping should always get respect and come first. Not only should you refrain from purposely hindering us you should go out of your way to get out of our way, I should never get attitudes. Literally stopping in front of where I’m looking and/or going is repugnant. I don’t intended to return to this location. As for the rest I’m not sure, seems to be consistent with the poor customer appreciation as this one. Lance was really Courteous. I’d give him a raise and fire your management staff

Price signs for the items I bought were different than what the items run up for. And they wont fix the prices so you pay what the price signs say.

I only had about 180 dollars and i was able to get so much stuff with my husband. This Wal-Mart is definitely my favorite.

Went in for oil change on 2007 Honda accord with synthetic oil and filter change. I was asked if I wanted air filter checked and replaced if needed I told them no and they did noted it on the bill. After waiting 10 minutes or so I went out to where I could see my car and the guy working on it Tommy said I’m having to move your battery to get to your air filter, I informed him I did not want the air filter checked - he said oh sorry it wasn’t on the computer I’ll put it all back in meaning the battery. As he was finishing up he remarked to me you know your check engine is on. I told him it was not on when I pulled in he tried to tell me maybe I did not notice it which I would’ve. When done he asked me to drive it awhile and the light may go out. I drove it for about five minutes and then returned and asked for the manager explaining to him what happened and the light was on still. I explain to him that I had asked not to check the air filter which he did and partially removed the battery to do it. The manager Lamont was very nice and helpful came right out. He checked the code causing the light to go on it was from the air intake. After driving a day the light went off and has stayed off.All in all they caused a problem then they fixed it. Not hooking up air intake correctly. Both Tommy and Lamont were very professional my only complaint now is they did not vacuum the interior.

Nice store but getting into and out of store parking lot is a confusing mess. UDOT really screwed this store location up. Other then that store is clean, and organized, restrooms were clean, lines are somewhat long but cashiers were available to open up more lanes. Self checkout was a mess

Good place for school supplies but thats about the only time I visit. Its a Walmart.

My quest for trees lead me to J & J. With a dry winter a lot of trees died and so there is a shortage of them. I did not find the trees that I was looking for but a kind person( employee, customer) turned my wallet in that I had left in my cart. Very grateful there are good people around. Also Ken who works at J & J., went and checked the carts and and asked around to see if a wallet had been turned in. He found out that he had been located. Checking with several people. I am very thankful for him being so helpful to me today. I really cant thank him enough.

Walmart is a good place to get the things you need to live the wonderful life everyone has.

This location is pretty clean & the staff is wonderful. At the front door taller fella named Michael was a big help & super friendly. There was 17 minutes before closing time & he was very accommodating & courteous. THANK YOU! Also, there is another employee in the toy department I believe her name was Jennifer she helped my daughters find the Harry Potter items they were searching for & it was greatly appreciated. Produce looks good, pretty much everything is stocked too. 🤙🏽

Its a Walmart super center. They will probably have what you need, or something like it. Most times. Decent prices, moderate quality.

Instead of a Walmart greeter greeting you they should greet you with a map you cant find anything in that place and none of the employees know anything is instead of them telling you what aisle or where at theyll just point in a certain area

I feel when a store is open everything should be . came in at 6:30 to return somethings before work only to be told they open at 7am which makes me late for work.

We’ve only had positive experiences here. All of the staff are nice but ESPECIALLY Sam who is a greeter at the doors! Every single time we’ve come or gone, Sam has wished us a good day. You can tell he especially loves the people and enjoys his job greeting them. It always brightens our day!

Its a mess and always crowded. I try to avoid this place as much as I can. Walmart employees look miserable everytime I come to any of Its store and we all know why...

This place is a joke. They want you to pay $98 a year for Walmart plus but cant get anything right when you do a online pickup order. Evidently there are no substitutions for green lettuce bit the substitution for a 1lb thing of baking soda is a 4lb box. The deodorant came with no lid. All sorts of things missing that could have been substituted. Whos picking these orders 12 yr olds? Not to mention an hour late on picking the order that was ordered at noon and scheduled for pickup at 6pm.

They stepped up to the plate during this emergency, (Covid) and kept the prices for all necessities accessible to all of us. Which I did not think they would do, but they deserve credit for doing an awesome job. Thank you Walmart. Could not have made it through this without you. You are the only retailer that had the things available for us. Not even Amazon did a very good job with this crisis. I will keep that in mind whenever I am in need.

Honestly done shopping here. Shelves are half stocked at best. People are rude. Lines are long. Self checkout breaks every time. Prices are not much lower than competing stores and you know what I just dont like walmart quality stuff. Half my produce ends up being bad sooner rather than later. Availability of stuff isnt great. This was both pre during and post covid. Im not shopping here anymore. Other stores and higher prices plus them treating their employees better is much worth it over walmart

They were out of milk so I asked a store associate if they had some. He went and stocked some for me. The aisles were a little crowded with inventory in boxes.

Stopped by the Auto center to see if I could get a tire fixed I had a nail. It was amazing experience they replaced the tire at a low price and aligned my tires. I was blown away how quick they were and affordable. Next time I need tires I will take it to Walmart!

One of there workers had their family visiting them and not doing her work. She was hugging and kissing on her husband and baby. Never buy one of the credit cards because they dont know how to activate them. You will have to call to activate it yourself and it will take up to 2 hours for it to be activate. This is the Walmart in Layton. I will not go back to it.

If I dont pay for a membership.. you dont need to check my receipt and at self checkout we shouldnt be watched. Some people want privacy when buying certain items such as pregnancy tests.

Not enough employees, customer service is lacking.

Not very happy with this store went in to discuss with the manager about one of their employees being extremely inappropriate with my teen daughter while she was in the store. The manager didn’t even apologize or say they would take care of it they instead just worried about getting my info.

I was shopping and put some hairspray in my cart and i felt something wet. Turns out the lid wasn’t on tightly enough so it had opened and spilled all over the floor. We found an associate and he said he would go find one. After asking four different people for help i waited 30 minutes for someone to clean it up and having someone slip. Finally the boy came back and told us that we could leave and he’d stand there. The boy was very helpful but everyone else did nothing. It was a hazard and needed to be cleaned up immediately. Very angry and dissatisfied.

Its a pretty good walmart the employees here are helpful and are kind. The store usually has most things in stock but I dont buy mean from any Walmart I prefer to shop at a more local store when getting meat in an attempt to get better quality meat.

Runners in grocery order pickup were working together making sure orders got out fast despite the fact it was super busy. This was during the last pickup hour of the day . Even though it was a longer wait time than usual I was very impressed by the Runners team work. Great job!!!

Great selection the only gripe I have is that they dont carry soda streem products. It would be helpful as well if they could indicate the which items are WIC approved items like stores such as smiths have next to every WIC product.

It was a good experience for me... A lot of people, but i managed to miraculously get everything i needed and get out with no trouble... Not setup for 18 wheelers though, but we did park in the back anyway, and i guess because of the previous nights bad weather, and a lot of help from God, nobody bothered us

I love this place always. Everything you need in one spot. Although... smiths prices are better, winkos prices are shocking.
