Weve been shopping for boats for a few months, driving all over and hearing how the other vendors boat is better than the other vendors.To us, this is a huge financial purchase and we were searching for one of quality and one in which we could feel confident that the Boat Dealer would still treat us like an important customer even after the sale.One of the key drivers that drove us to Whittle Boats was the stellar online reviews. Sure there are going to be the one of reviews that hate the world, but by and large they had a volume of great reviews. Our experience was not the exception.Chad greeted us after browsing a few boats and was a wealth of knowledge. He is there to sell ya a boat if you want, but isnt there to force you into a sale. He offered great advice in what made sense for our wants/needs, but ultimately was there just to help steer us in the right direction for our family based on the information we shared. In the end, we ended up deciding on a beautiful Silver Wave Tritoon that he kept communication with us every step of the way.Willy was who rigged our boat up with the motor we selected amongst other things, while Monty and Jose took us to the lake to show us how everything worked. As new boat owners, I am sure we had a bunch of redundant questions, but Monty and team took the time to answer all of our questions while providing reasons and examples. It was a Wet Day on the lake and we couldnt ask for a better crew to keep commitments and provide quality work!We ended the process with Elizabeth in financing. Every transition mind you, was a warm hand off from Sales, Service, to Financing. Elizabeth greeted us and went over the paperwork and explained where to sign and what each document represented. Much of the information was redundant to sign and acknowledge everything that the crew before already coached with us. This was great though...because that is what you want to happen. Freaking stoked about the new boat. Exactly what we needed at a very fair price. No haggling with Chad. The boat was complete including life jackets, dock bumpers, cover, trailer and lots more. Nothing was skimped on. The trailer is just as awesome as the Stingray 236cc I purchased. Im not new to fishing or boats. Its a large purchase but well worth the enjoyment were gonna get year after year.

I sold my tritoon to this dealership. I worked with Vaughn Whittle. Could not have been better. They gave me a fair price but what was so truly impressive was this. I had a flat on my tandem trailer about 25 miles out from the dealer. No spare!!! I called Vaughn and he sent a service truck out. The gentleman put on a spare and I followed him on to the dealership. Vaughn didnt even mention any charge for this. After an engine check they cut me a check and I was headed home. We have been associated with Jerry Whittle for over four years when we bought my first used boat from them. We bought a 2013 Crownline EX that our family was extremely satisfied with. The 30 day bumper to bumper warranty they provide is absolutely true and they stand by it. We did have some initial problems with the engine and they stood behind their warranty to get it fixed. I know they spent over $3000 and numerous man hours to find the problems and fixed them all to our satisfaction. Then because of the problems we had they winterized and de-winterized our boat at no cost to us. We had all our service done by their top notch service department. Jerry Whittle Boats is our only boat dealer we do business with. If you are looking for a boat and not giving Jerry Whittle a look, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Horrible service department. Ive been waiting on a seat since purchased almost 3yrs ago. The seat was dry rotting. Power switch wasnt replaced. I was told that it was fixed. My boat was left uncovered and filthy when I picked it up. It took my wife and I a day to clean it. Brand new Berkshire and not honoring warranty. !!!

I rarely see this type of service in any industry - great buying experience and great support.

I bought a used 2013 Harris Flotebote from Jerry Whittle. Easy process. And, since then they have helped me multiple times hassle-free. My stereo was not working correctly shortly after buying the boat - they gave me a replacement no questions asked. The service department also helped me with documentation to change my own oil and plugs - no charge. Very helpful staff in Sales and Service.

Just purchased a 2007 pontoon from Vaughn. Process was quick and easy thanks to Elizabeth in the finance dept. Due to bad weather it took 2 trips out to the lake for a boat test, thanks to Paul and Aaron for their help. Thanks to Vaughn for the upgraded stereo and cover. This was my 4th boat purchase and it went phenomenally. Vaughn Whittle was very easy to work with and we were in and out of there in no time on the day of delivery. The day we decided to buy he gave me a date and time to test drive the boat. They went through it changing the oil, impeller, and made sure everything worked. I mentioned a couple of things when I looked at the boat initially and they fixed all of them. On the test run, we found a few things to fix and before I was done with the paperwork, they were fixed and my truck was hooked up to the boat. I dont remember the gentlemans name that we test drove with, but he really hooked us up.I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used boat. Excellent service and I will be back there again.

I give this dealership 5 stars because my experience with Gary Carpenter, Elizabeth Lewis and Monty were very pleasing. They all made my purchase very painless. Gary knew his boats. I actually have been going to boat shows in Dallas Markethall for 5 years and always end up looking at the Stingray 182 SC. Finally I went to see Gary and pulled the deal. I am very sure of this and I am not a newby in boats too since this is my 7th boat. This will be my last boat and last dealership. I will have to review their service department after my first 20 hrs. I bought my first boat with Gary about 1 month ago. Unfortunately I didnt get a chance to write a review until now because Ive been busy enjoying the end of the summer with my family on the lake. Like most of the other reviews, I agree with the great experience I had working with Gary and Elizabeth. There was no pressure to buy and I feel like I got a fair honest deal. After buying the boat, I had a part of my Bimini fall off into the water due to a faulty screw. I came by the store and Gary gave me the replacement part without a hassle. Im pretty sure when it comes time to upgrade my boat, Ill be going back without hesitation.

Bought a 2017 stingray and in the first 2 mo it was in the shop 4 or 5 times for one reason or another.Which means time and gas to drive from Ellis co to far north Dallas to drop of and pickup.I did get my 1st oil change for free to make up for some of the hassles.The owners son assured me they will do me right and make it up when I bring it in for service. For that reason I am changing for 1 star to 3 star.Also every time I am at the dealer I see a black pickup in the handicap parking space with no hang tag or disabled plate. I figure its an employees since its there all the time.

Jerry Whittle Boats Rock!!! I purchased my boat in 2014, from a man who bought the boat new from Jerry Whittle the year prior . Here we over 4 years later and I called Mark in parts to get pricing info on new front seat covers since my were cracking. He told me to call him back in a couple of weeks. He was able to not only get me the new covers from Excursion/Forest River he was able to get Forester River to cover it under the warranty that expired earlier in the year. I live in California and when I buy another boat, I will travel to Lewisville TX and buy it from Jerry Whittle! Thanks Mark in parts, YOU ROCK brother!
