Be careful when shopping this businesses vehicles they are known for rolling the mileage on vehicles back. There is a vehicle in their inventory as of 5/17 that has 250,000+ that they switched the cluster or rolled the miles back on it to show closer to 100,000 miles. Highly illegal and unethical

They have a vehicle that the miles have been rolled back. They will block you if you ask about it.

Do not do business with this company. The owner is doing a good job of responding to the reviews, and he always has a story as Im sure he will here, but here are the facts from my experience: I saw a vehicle online. I paid a 3rd party inspector to go out and look at the vehicle for me, which was Lemon Squad, and I highly recommend them. The inspection turned up an issue. Peter who represented himself as the owner and I struck a verbal agreement for me to purchase the vehicle for a set price, which included consideration of the issue identified. I called the next day to make arrangements to sign papers and schedule payment/pick up and Peter changed his position. He indicated that someone else had offered to buy the vehicle and wanted me to match it or lose the vehicle. The irony was Peter hadnt done the math. My offer was slightly higher than the $9,500. I declined on a matter of principle. These are not folks that can be taken at their word. Buyers beware.

None...just the reviews and those of the owners. Apparently the owner doesnt realize that his responses to these reviews are very telling and is why I and other potential buyers wont buy their vehicles...

I bought a van from them (Pieter) about a year ago for my family and its one of the best purchases I have done on a used car. My family is super happy with the van and we have visited family up north twice never gave me any problems. Called them a couple months ago looking for a truck for myself and Pieter worked with me in cutting me a good deal after speaking with the owner, love the truck and like on the van I am super happy with my truck. Friendly people and very professional.

Bought a truck less than 6 months ago from them and the transmission alrrady needs replacing. Called to see if they would be willing to help with the repairs considering it was less than 6 months ago. The receptionist said the owner said no then apologized. So basically dont buy a vehicle from them. No warranty or honesty with these people.

My wife and I had the opportunity to purchase a Ford Explorer from DFW Motors which was in better condition than the five (5) previous FSBO vehicles that we looked and drove. Pieter Jacobs, who was our sales consultant, was very knowledgeable and respectful throughout the process. Pieter was attentive to our questions and was definitely upfront and honest with us (a quality you want in a guy selling you a pre-owned vehicle). My wife needs a new vehicle as well as our 17 year old daughter and I will definitely be coming back to DFW motors. What a great company!

Brought a clean car for appraisal, Harry was very kind and seemed to want to help me. But some other pencil limbed chump test drove my car, and told me my transmission was going out! Turns out he cant drive stick to save his life. Said every gear grinded, and that he would give me 300 bucks for my car. Forgot to add a zero there I guess, but apparently he was a professional mechanic, and I told him what was wrong with the car before hand and he still ignored it. Well, this dealer shot me a very swindles offer, and I imagine they by extension are very swindles people. They will not be seeing me again. If I could Id offer 0 stars. Do not bother going here. The reply of the owner speaks volumes. Shady con/rip off artists.

Update response: The offer for the warranty was an additional cost not included in the full price. I paid $6,500 for the which included TTL. Also, I no longer have that van I purchased from them. After going back in forth to the mechanic shop to get issue after issue fixed!! Turns out the Block was cracked in the motor. Did not have the car a good year. $6,500 down DFW Motors tubes. These cars & vans are lemons!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They sold me a 2009 Chrysler Town and country on March 27, 2018 and 2weeks into having the car it started running hot. Had to change the radiator in which DFW Motors pit stop leak in. Also the thermostat, the check engine light is still on even after I repaired that issue. Now I’m having transmission problems in which that is major. Do not buy cars from this place. When I spoke with both Pieter Jacobs & his Dad who’s name is Pieter as well they were very nasty and rude to me on the phone and kept hanging up the phone not trying to come up with a resolution. They are very rude people. Vans & cars are JunkJunkJunk!!! Do not buy anything from these people!!! Just awful. Only been a month of having this car and mechanical issue after more mechanical issues. Paid $6500 for a junk car.

I stopped by to check out a truck I had called about over the phone everything seemed okay. Upon arrival I started to inspect the truck which I understand that pictures online done pick up and the scratches, ding, dent and what not. Well I read over the description and it was stated that the truck was clean inside and out. Well the truck had more then normal wear and tear the was obvious the top had hail damage and lots of small dents throughout including deep scratches. The inside wasn’t as bad it did have cigarette burns in the seats though. After pointing out the damage of the truck I asked for it to be pulled out from where it was boxed in by other vehicles. The truck fired up I asked if they had done a inspection of any kind for the time that they have had the truck. He said yes and was bragging about how the inspection is done professionally and that there were no lights on I went ahead check the oil it was black and it was also low. I was trying to let the truck run for a couple of mins. that way of any codes had been cleared the ecu could make them back off the TPMS was the first light to go off it that’s no big deal I asked to test drive the truck it was on the road no longer then 5 mins the engine light went off I asked if they’d put the scanner on it turns out misfire cylinder 3. Then tells me it’s just one spark plug causing this and that he very knowledgeable with the hemi engines that they’re great blah, blah, blah. I asked him how many spark plugs the v8 hemi has he said it’s a v8 so 8 I explained to him that hemi have a total of 16 spark plugs. I tried to tell him that was the code it was throwing could potentially be costly and cause lots of problems. He continued to say well the other 7 are fine so you’ll be okay no big deal. When it got time to negotiate there was no time to negotiate I tired to brining up the engine code and then all the damage and I was told that I shouldn’t plan to go buy a used vehicle and try to bring up damage on it cause that was due to previous owners not thanks to him. Peter tried to come off like he was the owner but I quickly realized he was just a horrible sales rep. he has got to experience in sales or how to speak to people. He can’t control his emotions and can listen to what you’ve got to say. I took his advise he told me that if I want a better truck to go buy one at the dodge dealership. I took the 8k cash I had brought for them to dodge and found me a truck I was actually comfortable buying for a price we agreed upon. Unlike here they have a rough looking inventory, along with a dishonest staff. Deleting any kind on engine light and having it come back on in a test drive has to be pretty embarrassing. I highly recommend for anyone and everyone to take they’re business and money elsewhere. **Unprofessional an dishonest**Response: I as soon as that scanner show why the check engine light was going off I said I no longer wanted it that when I was told that I could go to Dodge which I should have done from the beginning and not waste my time at some shady joke want to be dealership. I wasn’t given the chance to show my DL I would have gladly drove the truck rather then have peter get really nervous when he saw a cop car and then stating he didn’t have his DL on him. Which also made this whole experience that much more bad. & I guess I could mention that when I mentioned the two big dents right above the windshield on the 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 sxt (black in color, regular cab) Peter insisted he make them “not as bad” by using “some plunger things we have” his words he came back out and made them worse. As far as me being a first time buyer and not meeting requirements that’s incorrect. I told peter that I had got a great deal on car I was which I figured he’d catch and know I wasn’t a first time buyer but if your the owner that makes sense as to why you have peter as a sales rep. you both are liars neither one of you got my information or even took the time to ask for my name so how would either of you know that I don’t meet requirements. I am aware of the taxes etc.
