Waited over 2 hours to be seen with my phone problem this past Friday. Finally seen, Manager Travis serviced my phone (problem dropping phone connection) by putting in new SIM card. He assured me my problem was fixed and I felt great leaving the store....I didnt wont to buy a new phone. Got home, several hours latersame problem! Whats up, Travis? I will be back in your store Monday and I do not want to wait 2+hours again! Heres your and Verizons 2nd chance. My family has 6(SIX) cell phones with Verizon. See you Monday, 11/01.
Absolute worst experience i have ever had in a store. I waited over an hour for absolutely nothing. The female staff (Dani) was more worried about flirting with the male staff than helping customers, absolute disgrace! I am okay waiting but to literally not ONCE be offered a chair to a mother standing there holding an exhausted and hot 2 year old for an hour is pathetic. When Dani finally decided to stop flirting and grace us with her attention she could not have been more rude or treated us more disrespectfully and disinterested, needless to say I left with nothing accomplished. After leaving i tried for over 45 minutes to get through on the phone to speak with someone and was only left on hold by the automated system. Not only will I but my entire family be switching services after this.
Do not waste your time if you need a phone fast, go to Best buy or order it online. Ive had Verizon for almost 20 years and would think they were well stocked for their customers...not
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from all employees including the GM. First, I was greeted rudely by an employee who asked could I move and charge my phone somewhere after I had been waiting on help. Then, once she finally did come over to help, I attempted to explain to her what I was told on the phone, but she consistently interrupted me, then cut me off and said “I’ll just go get a manager.” While, continuing to wait for the manager, she insisted on walking past me and staring maliciously, wanting me to say something to her. Once I said “Why do you keep looking at me,” she went to the back to lie and say that I threatened her. Where is the threat? Finally, the general manager for what I thought to apologize for my inconvenience, but instead he did the same, acting like I was still at fault with no interest to help me at all. He didn’t apologize for his employee, just continue to give me attitude as she did. I ended up leaving without help at all and will never be back again. I’ve been a devoted customer of Verizon for years and know this is not applicable and they will never be okay with this customer service.
Just awful management. Employees were helping others and the manager helped me and instead belittled me for having trouble understanding the plan. I did not appreciate this. It also took a very long time so I left. 10/10 would go somewhere else.
After a short wait I was assisted by a young gentlemen who was quickly able to show me how to correct my issue.
I had an excellent experience while at Verizon on Sunset today around Noon. I was greeted warmly and turned over to Mr. Milligan. He was very welcoming, listened closely to my phone issue, and we resolved it on the spot. Thanks to both of these employees for a very pleasant problem-solving experience. Not sure what her name is. the blonde girl at this store was very rude. when I came to get my phone fixed (I have an insurance policy and all) i was told they could not and WOULD NOT help me out. They sent me to the corner and allowed me to use a phone to let my Dad know yet stared as it took me about 5 minutes to correctly dial off of their phone.

The sales clerks were very nice. I went there looking for a specific phone. You cannot even enter the store without an appointment. Some one meets you at the door with a security officer. In my opinion, they are taking COVID precautions WAY TO FAR! I just wanted to look at a phone and ask someone some questions!!!! I had a mask on! There were very few people in the store! I was so aggravated, that I went to BestBuy. I bought my phone there!!! The clerks are nice, but customer service needs LOTS OF WORK!
Came in they have everyone outside. That’s fair. My fiancé phone is not working so there was no way to inform him when he is next. We told them we were gonna go to Chipotle and eat real fast was told a 45 min wait. I set an alarm for 30 min. Came back and was told we were called and no one showed. Well that’s rich because his phone cannot get calls. So there is no way to call him and I even offered to give my number the man would not take it so here we are waiting another 45 min.
Went to the Lexington Verizon store and its almost like a surgical suite. Everyone is masked, controlled access to the store with a security guard to have you wait outside until they are ready to help you, and plexiglass shields at every station. Excellent
Love getting all my cell phone needs from this location! They are very professional and answer all my questions and concerns with efficiency. I had the best experience working with Danielle; she was friendly and very easygoing which made my visit here wonderful! I will continue to do business with this location and company. Ordered a phone on Wednesday. Became available on Thursday, 5:15pm so they were closed. The sign on the building said they would be open on Friday, July 3rd from 10am-5pm, and so did the Google search online! And yet, when I got there, they were closed for holiday. Holiday? Its July 3rd. They would hold my phone until July 4th, but they wont be open again until July 6th. What the hell, Verizon?

Took my mom to this store to have her phone switched from my dads to hers. The only thing they did was switch the sim cards. They did not help they made it worse.Let not talk about the fact that my mom is almosy 82 and they refused to allow me to be with her. We will not be going back to this store for their lack so services and lack of wellness to help.

I had a great experience at this location with the Sales and Solutions Specialists, Claude. He spent time to help me understand my new plan, my new iPhone (Android user), and helped us get all the promotions that we qualified for. He is very patient and resourceful. Hes very good at his job, efficient and wants his customers satisfied. I definitely recommend this location.

During Covid 19 the store claims to be open but a masked man (who is rude) stops you out front to tell you to go online for whatever reason you have to be at this store. My phone doesn’t work and he gave LONG instructions on how to buy online and transfer data. Why did they claim to be open? He stated so WE can talk. I wasn’t talking. He was talking for a long time. Waste of our time.
Went by to get a charger. They were very busy, but the lady at the door was still very helpful. She found me a charger and checked me out even with a ton of people asking her questions and checking in. Didnt remember her name but my receipt shows browne5-E25TH.

I recently upgraded my phone and the salesperson at this particular store was less than accommodating. However, I did receive a call from the manager concerning the matter and she seemed to take the issue to heart and assured me that the employees lack of enthusiasm would be addressed.
Terrible. Some guy named Austin yelled at me when he originally told me one price and then upped it later on. Austin is the worst and his manager was not much better. The system they have in place to check you in usually works well to get you in and out of its something quick. But as others have commented, you could be waiting quite a while if the place is crowded! Love the device selection and wireless service. Its affordable for me only because of an employee discount I receive.
I dont have to visit here often. I understand this is a high volume store. BUT when I came in today and told the young lady at check-in I have one question, and she proceeds to tell me itll be a 10-15 minute wait, which I repeat to her that I just need to ask one quick thing, and she doesnt back off of telling me its a 10-15 minute wait. The time she took repeating herself about having a 10-15 minute wait, she probably could have answered my ONE QUESTION which would have dictated my need to stay and wait the 10-15 minutes for a rep to see me or to walk right out the door with the info I was looking for.Well, I did walk right out the door, but with no answer to my question and the disbelief of what passes for customer service at this store. Apparently they dont care what your issue is until your number is called.
Did you know you have to have your I.D. on you to do business at Verizon? But you can call and do whatever without it. I have my phone, pin and I sure know my Google password after a crazy day that disrupted my vacation when an update on my phone crashed it completely. No one ever said before that that restoring my phone would be 100% dependent on knowing that password. Today, I can recite it. But no business to be done without the photo I.D. wasted 20 minutes waiting to find out plus time in bad traffic. Online help gets you a robot trying to sell you stuff. OK we will call. But maybe to cancel and get another company. Our contracts are such that we can.
Claude is a wonderful employee. He made the transition from a malfunctioning phone to a new one so much less stressful than I expected.

Ive visited many of the Verizon stores in the Columbia area, but am most impressed with this Lexington location. I have always been greeted at the door, even had the door opened for me, and have had excellent interactions with their solutions specialists. I also enjoy the smart store layout.
This store is ABSOLUTLEY awful. Employees refuse to take new customers after a assisting previous one for at least 10 minutes. They either disappear into the back of the store or chit chat with each other on the sales floor. The order in which people are assisted is supposed to be in order, but it seems to be completely random based on what each employee prefers. The staff is unclear about hidden charges, activation fees, etc. I hate coming here!
Patty will always hold a special place in our hearts because of the phenomenal job she did on our five generation photo she did prior to my Mothers passing. It became her most valued possession and source if great joy. I would recommend her as a photographer to anyone. She has a wonderful eye and sense if creativity and is dedicated to her craft. She can make anyone look fabulous.

I have went in there three times over the past 8 months. Two of those times my orders / concerns were handled by Chuck. Absolutely phenomenal guy in making sure that what I needed was taken care of and he had remembered me and selling me my tablet from 7 months ago. Excellent customer service! Service was good once we met our sales person. There was an awkward wait. The store was crowded and it was difficult to find a place that was comfortable to wait and not have radio demonstrations extremely loud in your ears. Sales person was knowledgeable about cases/screen protection, as that was what I was looking for this trip.

I dont think that the store in Lexington is half bad. There are friendly people there. As long as I get the best for my money, I have no problem with the service itself. Its the best we have in this area, and that is saying a lot, considering we have every provider in the country in town except US Cellular.
Expect to wait at least an hour (no matter what you are there for) and that is on a good day. Ive been a long time customer of Verizon and chose to leave because you are told one thing while another is done. I was given the run around on several occasions. Any deal that was made in store was never honored and the customer is left to pay. Ive been to several other locations where the service was impeccable but this store drove me away from Verizon all together.
All this store cares about is selling you something. Not willing to help when you have a problem. While I was there I watched them sell a customer a phone. Then leave her and ignore her. She had to ask someone else if she was done. And that person just gave her a snappy come back...your good

Very long wait times and the staff that work here are very robotic with their sales pitches which can be a major turn off. Ive also ran into arrogance with some salespeople here that also effected my experience at the store in a way that made me not enjoy my visit. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this is my honest opinion.

They talk about integrity here and stealing, but its what customers say and feel when they walk out of the store that really counts, not what they tell you. They steal by not telling what any decent human being should be told with these life sucking payment plans, and that goes to show why there are so many scam callers trying to suck money out of anyone they can and dont care about your consiquences. I was scammed by not hearing the whole truth and wanting something I needed.
Worst customer service I have ever had. I asked to speak to a manager was then told that both managers were on a conference call. The conference call lasted longer than an hour. No manager came out to talk to me, Employees even walked by me and laughed. I am pretty sure I was being played and no manager was coming out to talk to me.We spend a lot of money each month with the Verizon. I plan on moving our $650 a month service to At&t
Go to Best Buy or buy through the Verizon app. This store is ran like a joke. Customer service is abysmal. You over pay and if they sell you an obviously manufacturer defected product they will not replace it. You can save cash and headache elsewhere. After spending well in excess of $1500 with them I expect much higher customer service.
It is usually crazy busy, but this trip was super smooth. Eric was awesome. Great trip.

When to local Verizon store and they could not provide me with the correct SIM card and they also said my phone was incompatible with the verizon network which I knew to be incorrect.Verizon technical made recommendations where to go in Columbia. This location was one of the recommendations. The store personnel were professional in checking in providing me with a SIM card. Kevin was able install the correct SIM card and transfer all my contacts and messages from my old phone in a timely and efficient manner.
Arrived after my deployment to activate my new phone I bought off gazelle. Took about 30 minutes get to me. Took them over an hour to get me finally completed. They didnt have the screen protector for my phone. Seems to me they should have a quicker process. The employee that was helping me out was very polite and patient, that is why I gave 3 star instead of 2.
Young lady that helped me with my selection was no help at all. All she wanted was for me to get my phone and go on to someone else. She offered no instruction on the new phone and knew nothing about the phone. I got the S8 and she didnt even know that the phone was water proof...its biggest feature.
Dont go to this location. I went a few days ago to get my eSIM activated in my iPhone XR so I didnt need a physical SIM card and the specialist Claude laughed at me and told me I didnt know what I was talking about. Went back home and went on Verizons site, contacted a customer service rep through chat and they got me squared away in less than 30 minutes. Removed my physical SIM and I have service through my eSIM now.
Avoid this location at all costs. Quayvon WILL steal from you because he stole from me. This was in December. Apparently they condone it because he still works there. I told them about it and had a 45 minute phone conversation with the General Manager of the store. Read below where it says they will investigate it further. They had ample chance to investigate it and nothing was done. Blow that smoke up someone else...

John was a huge help at the Columbiana store... Told them what happened at the Lexington store...they had no words.

I am only giving two stars because I’ve only had a good experience twice out of the many times I’ve been. As a young women I am used to people not taking me serious or trying to take advantage of me because I look young and I must be dumb because I am camel. Sad but true. Their employee Wes has tried this multiple times and actually succeeded with my mother. When I took my phone in last year because my phone wouldn’t charge he looked at me like I was stupid when I told him I had tried to clean out the charging port. Then later he even tried to clean it out himself. He plugs it up and it shows it’s charging for a few seconds and hands me my phone back. I told him no, wait a second and it will stop. He didn’t believe me so I placed it on there myself and made him watch as it started to freak out and end up not charging after a little. He told me that the only option was to buy a new phone and I told him I couldn’t afford it multiple times. He said he couldn’t help me of after that and he walked away. So I left. This year, when I was closer to being financially ready to buy a new phone I walked in to ask a couple questions before I bought my phone and he approached me to help. He kept trying to say what I wanted to do was stupid and dumb and that I should just buy a new phone now. I kept saying I wasn’t financially ready yet but I wanted more questions asked. He said he couldnt answer them till I bought a phone and he could show me all the answers after then. He also tried to pressure me into buying a new phone for my mother and an Apple Watch. After 20 mins of him trying to pressure me and take advantage of the fact that I look young and dumb, he gave up and literally just left me when I had questions he still hadn’t even answered. I went in a month later and vowed I wouldn’t let Wes get the commission from my purchase. I ended up with another guy who was amazingly helpful, answered all my questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. About a week later my mother went to buy a new phone and Wes tried to help her out. He tricked and lied to my mother so that she would buy two hums and was never honest when she asked multiple times about what the deal actually was. She was unaware of a monthly fee, activation fee, or a deactivation fee. The next day when my mom found out the truth about what she had bought she went back in to talk to the manager that never showed. Wes looked at her, knowing who she was, and never came up to her to help or tried to even speak or make eye contact with her. He was only concerned about the sale. Wes’s actions can only mean that he sees customers and women as people who he can possibly manipulate and trick into purchasing more just to increase his own commission check. I understand that this is how he makes a living, but that is NOT how you create a good business and it is NOT how you treat customers. My advice to anyone, especially women, is stay away from Wes unless you don’t care about your money.
Horrible customer service.I came in with a broken screen (cracked glass) and the screen itself was multiple colors. Could not use the phone at all. When I came in the lady wanted to just give me the insurance number and send me out the door. I told her I needed a phone now as I own a small business and this is a major part of my day. She told me to get a phone from someone I know. I explained that I needed a phone now, she told me that they dont do loaner phones. Which is not what I asked her for. Just tell me my options and help with my issue. It is sad that the service you get in a national store like Verizon can not be better.
Came in at 5:50 on a Saturday to upgrade to a Note9 from my Note5, wandered around for a little over 40 min, not spoken to or acknowledged once. There was only one person on the floor helping a couple and one other customer looking at the PALM phones. There were multiple voices in the back laughing and cutting up; nothing wrong with that normally. A young woman finally came out from the back and started hanging phone cases. Once again not a problem because restock needs to be done. I dont hold anything against the employees since Im sure they are quite capable of doing their job, but perhaps there needs to be more people in this location to help out. For now Ill just be sticking to my indirect location.

Might not always say what I want to hear but they are good at moving quickly and working hard to serve their customers. The employees are courteous and knowledgeable.
